Stayed here for three days on a much needed vacation. hands down the best place to stay. Rooms are beautiful and clean. Beds are comfortable! The Inn Keepers Jim and Jane are awesome! It's so close to town and you can walk everywhere ! Breakfast was great! We met some really great people and will be going back.
Lovely night and morning here! We can walk to downtown, they accommodated our late arrival as well as a request for late check out. Clean rooms, friendly hosts, delightful porch with view of river and Mt. Adams, plentiful breakfast with fresh fruit and cold brewed toddy coffee!!
This was our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and it was a great experience. The owner, Jane, is amazing -- accommodating and very friendly. It is a block from downtown and the house is gorgeous and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Blossoms catered by 2013 Hood River wedding and did a great job. Cathy is not only friendly and a real joy to be around, but she is professional, accommodating, and damn good at what she does. She bent over backwards to help us incorporate all of our preferences, and the food was delicious---everything was perfect. I think Blossoms is the most professional wedding vendor in the Hood River Valley, hands down. I highly recommend them for any event-- you will not be disappointed by their delicious food or great service.

This unique and charming B&B is tucked away in Hood River about 20 minutes off of I-84. This is not your traditional B&B as it's set in a gorgeous orchard with a stunning view of Mount Hood. Should you choose to stay with the lovely couple that runs the place, Pete & Annette, you won't regret it as they are truly the most inviting hosts. This is not your Grandma's B&B! They have 3 permanent tents complete with beds in them, one of which is a tree house. That's right a tree house! As a guest you have access to the bath house as well. I had the pleasure of working directly with both Pete and Annette for a friend's wedding. Not only did our hosts do everything they could to transform their working orchard into a gorgeous Wedding Venue, but they were there every step of the way to make sure everything went smoothly for the guests. Need a generator, or a way to park all of your guests amongst the pear trees? Pete's got it covered! Need all the pretty touches from a garden to spruce up the Honey Moon Suite/Tree House or a back-up catering plan when it looks like your caterer is not going to show up? Don't worry, Annette has you covered! The grounds are spread out and do require a bit of walking from the tree house, tent sites, bath house, main house and reception space. But it's absolutely worth it. The Orchard is beautiful, the venue is one of a kind but the hospitality here is incredible! Regardless of if you need a weekend getaway or a venue for a special event, I'd recommend Bella Vista without a moment's hesitation.

Amazing!!! Loved this place. Gave us an upgrade without the extra charge, and wow, were we so glad they did!! The River View Room was amazing. View of Mt. Hood from the bathtub. Great customer service and wonderful accommodations. Would go back just to experience the B&B. Breakfast was sooo good. Awesome views and surrounding. Loved it.
Absolute heaven - so very serene and peaceful and so incredibly beautiful!! This bed and breakfast sits on a hill overlooking Hood River, Oregon and faces Mount Hood - the property is absolutely gorgeous. It sits on an organic orchard and is a working farm with a full garden and farm animals. The attention to detail inside the B&B is impeccable and the place is spotlessly clean. It's truly relaxing and quiet - and at night you can see every star in the sky. The service is excellent and the food is delicious and fresh as it all comes from their own farm. I highly recommend the Mount Hood room as it features a beautiful, clear view of the mountain. This is definitely one of those places you come to to unplug from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The property: When you first enter their gate, you drive through an organic orchard and as the driveway winds around, you end up at the most adorable 3 story cabin. The grounds surrounding it are beautifully landscaped with pretty flowers growing and the grounds are nice and colorful. They have the friendliest cat that hangs around the front and greets you as you walk up, too. When you walk to the backside of the cabin, you see Mount Hood -- and many of the rooms feature a gorgeous view of the mountain... absolutely beautiful, unobstructed panoramic views of both the valley and the mountain. Hood River is off to your left. To your right, you see the Sakura Ridge garden where they grow all of the vegetables that they serve during breakfast. They also have their own goats and chickens and they are fun to watch too. The cabin/ rooms: The rooms are adorable -- I arrived at the start of a weekend when the other guests had yet to get there and I peeked it at each of the rooms. They are very cute and inviting. Not all of the rooms feature a view of Mount Hood (some have a view of the side yard, etc), however, it appears that most do. Even if your bedroom doesn't have a view of the mountain, you can always utilize one of the common deck areas that feature amazing views and comfy adirondack chairs. We stayed in the Mount Hood Room and I enjoyed every minute of the amazing views we had. We had our own private patio and stayed out until late at night when we could see every star in the sky. Hood River is down below and there isn't any light pollution to impede your views - it's just magical and romantic. Each of the rooms also have the Toto toilets which have bidet features (not a fan!) - but the heated seats are amaaazing.. haha. The tiled floors are also heated and there is a thermostat on the walls to control the temp. Love it :) The only thing I didn't care for was the fact that the WiFi was so slow it was basically ineffective and there was no TV in our rooms, but that's OK. This is one of those places you really come to to unplug anyway. Also - the cabin has a central community living room and a community kitchen complete with a fridge, microwave, oven, etc. One of the other guests that was there during our stay caught some salmon down in the Columbia and cooked it one night while we were there. They have dishes and all of the utensils you need to make that happen if you don't feel like going out. The food/ service: Breakfast is served each morning at 8:30AM. You sit family style with other guests (but I think that is fun to meet new people - when we were there, there were couples from California and Vermont). The food is fantastic and super fresh as it comes from their own farm (veggies, fruit, sausage, fresh farm eggs, etc). The owner is both the cook and the server and she is friendly and helpful. Afterwards, she and her husband disappear to work on the property and you don't see them again until the next morning at breakfast. Hood River, OR: While this is not directly about the B&B, I just want to say that this is one of the cutest towns in America that I have ever visited. You can shop, play on the water, visit Mount Hood & Timberline Lodge, you can take the "fruit loop" and visit the area's local berry farms, hike in the area and see some awesome waterfalls, drive through the Columbia River Gorge, etc. We had the best time here. I highly recommend this town and this B&B. We also had an Italian dinner one night at Romul's and it was very tasty, so I recommend them as well. :) Enjoy :)
My wife and I decided to visit Hood River and discovered this lovely place online. The online pictures and reviews were great but experiencing this place in person was even better ... the long drive on the private road with snowy Mt. Hood in the background on a clear cloudless day ... the 5-star attention to detail ... the amenities ... Deanna's breakfast with soft scrambled eggs and fresh lamb sausage from scratch ... so yummy ... the hospitality ... the Japanese toilets ... we really loved everything about this place and especially the huge picture windows featuring Mt. Hood in the center. It reminded me of a temple in Kyoto where the columns and beams were placed like a picture window to feature the natural surroundings. Thank you Deanna and John. We hope to visit with you again soon.

Huaraches but the most delicious edible kind. We thoroughly enjoyed some tacos as well. This is a GREAT FIND.
Absolutely the best tacos I've had in HR hands down Ask for a side of Jalapeño La Crema...... (Pic posted) New to the Hood River line up of Taqueria's this Summer and on track to establish is self as one of the best. Don't expect it fast just be patient and experience some of the best homemade Mexican food around.....
I am ruined for any other Mexican restaurants in town. Lake Taco cooks and seasons everything to perfection, and you really can't go wrong, no matter what you order. My favorite here is the Lake Taco Burrito- with chorizo. Spicy and wonderful. Seating can be a bit cramped, but please don't let that scare you off... You've GOT to try this place! It's family run, and they are polite, and if you are also polite, they will cater to some odd adjustments to your food order.

My wife and I stayed here for our first anniversary and had a wonderful time setting around getting to know Linda and Greg. Driving out to the property through the Gorge and into Hood River is beautiful. Then you turn down what appears to be an industrial area road to find an oasis. Driving up you pass the chicken coup and you round the corner and you're suddenly miles away from anywhere. It is almost magical. The beautiful craftsman style bungalow with its big welcoming front porch is almost to good to be true. Pickles the porch cat was even there to greet us. Linda gave us a few ideas about places to try in town and her advice was spot on. The pizza at Double Mountain Brewery was outstanding! Our room had a fountain just outside the window that added a great bit of atmosphere. Being just off of the living room I was up early for some coffee before we set down for breakfast! We were the only two there the first morning and we had such a wonderful conversation with Greg and Linda about music and life. The breakfast was also just delicious. We look forward to visiting again, and I will come with music in hand!
I don't write reviews too often, but I love this place. Came here as a early birthday getaway for my husband, and saw all the great reviews for Seven Oaks. When we first arrived we were greeted by Linda and her husband Joe. We were invited in to sit and talked with the two, and let me just say, they are one of the nicest couple. Very welcoming and have the most pleasant stories. My husband and Linda are both from the South and it was nice to hear them swap stories...They are also very knowledgeable about the area. Unfortunately, we came on the weekend that was rainy. Nonetheless, the yard is beautiful and the cottage and the main house as well. In our cottage is a queen size bed, a tiny, but cute kitchen and bathroom. It's very quiet, clean and the floors are heated. I'm excited about breakfast. Linda said she is going to make breakfast burritos...Even though this is our first day, I think we will be coming back when there's nicer weather.
The food and the accommodations were stellar. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the linens were the finest quality. Every detail was elegant, right down to the soaps. The breakfast was healthy, filling and Linda made every effort to meet everyone's taste and diet requirements. The family style atmosphere and garden were perfect. My husband loved the proximity to the golf course. The nearby wineries and the town are inviting. The whole community was awesome and this is a great place to get away for a while!

This is not a restaurant you go to for the ambiance, you go because the food is REALLY GOOD. It is authentic Mexican and some of the best in the area. The only other place I have had Mexican food this good is at the Hood River County Fair. As soon as you sit down you will be greeted with chips and a yummy bean/carnitas meat dip and salsa. My favorite item on the menu is the Carnitas Gorditas. My husband's favorite is the Carnitas Platter.
Authentic Mexican food at a good price, ok range of beers and if there is a soccer game on they will have it on otherwise some other sports eg. NFL. I mostly went there after playing Co-ed adult soccer and always enjoyed my time there.
Authentic! Amazing! This is why I love Yelp! Had it not been for Yelp, I don't think we would have even know this place existed. And if we had, I doubt we would have taken a chance on it. It's a small (almost unnoticeable) little joint in Odell. Discovering this place is like finding the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. Here is why: 1. They serve Juanita's tortilla chips. They know what's up! 2. The salsa will set your head on fire and you will love every second of it. 3. Along with salsa, they will bring you beans for dipping. It has shredded chicken in it. It will change you life. 4. Did I mention authentic? 5. I had a fish taco. My boyfriend had a gordita. Both were amazing. I think I can make a safe assumption that everything that comes out of their kitchen is amazing. 6. Green sauce and red sauce. Bottled up heaven right on your table. If you are anywhere near Odell or Hood River..... Do yourself a favor and eat here. You will love it so much that you will Yelp about it. Promise! I plan to be back many, many more times. Muy Bueno!

This place is fantastic! A hidden gem in a tucked-away location yet right on the main drag of Hood River. Went there for breakfast and had a most delicious egg sandwich on their homemade gluten-free bread. Gluten-free bread is a tough one -- unfortunately often literally. Theirs was delicious and the best I've ever had. My friends who were lucky enough to have their sandwiches on the homemade english muffins raved about them as well. All was top-notch, with the friendly owners serving and preparing everything. My friends go there for lunch and highly recommend it. We almost went back for lunch the same day we were there for breakfast. It's that good!
Every single sandwich I've had at River Daze has been sublime. I usually order the special of the day, figuring it might be more in season and they have tested out the flavor combinations. I have loved every one of them. They also have a varied selection of drinks- kombucha, real sodas, and good beer too. The only reason they aren't getting 5 stars is they can be a bit packed at lunch and don't expedite the order line that effectively. Other than that, it's all good.
Best sandwiches in town! Breakfast or lunch!

Marley's Corner isn't in the center of town. It's more of a neighborhood eatery. British Pub food with a limited menu is the order of the day and an excellent UK beer stock. This is a very small place that produces big flavor. My family stopped here on the way to Mt. Hood. I had the fish and chips, my son the Marley's Pasties and my wife the soup of the day Vichyssoise (cold potato soup). All were excellent, my fish and chips were some of the best I've had, my picky eater son loved the Beef Pasty, the Vichyssoise was a great surprise, who knew! Service was very friendly, service very good though we were the only ones there. It was a great food find in a very cool town. Highly recommended!
Nice place, very friendly and the service was great even though they only have one person working doing both the cooking and serving.
Very small seating area but great staff and beer selection for imports. The food is decent but nothing to exciting.
