Updated 11-11-2014 Very unsatisfied. Poor quality meat. very fatty beef and when I baught it back to the store to exchange they acted offended. Staff was edgy and acted confused on what to do to resolve the issue. I ended up having to pay $1 more after paying 20 bucks for 2 meals and a bowl. Poor customer service. My family will not come back anytime soon.

Blows Panda Express away. Best bang for your buck. My go to order is the #1 with brown rice.

This has been our go to place for teriyaki for the last few years. We learned early on to pay the extra fee for chicken breast. Their regular chicken was really fatty and low quality meat. They make a yummy spicy sauce, and their rice is good. The main reason I give them only two stars is their customer service is lacking greatly.

Best terikayi I've had! The #2 spicy chicken is amazing! It will give you a kick in the mouth but so freaking good! The #12 was really good too.

Came in yesterday evening and had the chicken teriyaki bowl with just rice, not many people there, which I liked, but I did notice that at least 3 people came in to pick up their "to go" orders. I was satisfied and texted my cousin right away (whom referred this place to me) to let her know how good it was. I'm usually used to a thicker sauce, almost what you will get at Panda Express, but over all I didn't mind the texture of the sauce which wasn't too watery, it was just fine. The chicken was cooked perfectly, really tender, not hard, nor overly cooked. Well I guess you can say I liked it so much that I decided to go in again this morning and this time I ordered the spicy chicken. Don't remember what word I used to describe this dish but it wasn't something that you'd find in my daily vocab. The sauce wasn't too spicy, but it got the job done. But everyone is different, the man who took my order (I think was the owner) warned me about it... But I still ended up loving it so much I decided to make this my first Yelp review so I guess that goes along way right? To keep things short the rice was good, the salad dressing was better. Over all, you won't be disappointed. I think I'll go tomorrow and try their beef or pork options. p.s. Both times I went they did forget to offer me something to drink. =/ still, screw the drinks! If I die from chocking on this food, I'd be glad it was from SoyGrill. ;)

We had the beef chapchae, chicken teriyaki bowl, and the bi-bim bap. The chapchae was a mix of rice and noodle, but had a bit too much fish sauce. Teri-bowl was a bit too burnt and came out colder than we would've liked (had to get it microwaved). Bi-bim bap was pretty good-- could've been a bit spicier and warmer. Good value but food was average.

I live down in Eugene, but am originally from Gresham. Every time I go home for holidays or just to visit I get giddy with excitement. Not to see my family, friends, or even cat. But for something far more magical. To feast on the greatest conception of all time, a Number 2 from Soy Grill. We'll start with the salad. The dressing glistens off the lettuce like stars on a cloudless night and taste like I would imagine the waters flowing from the fountain of youth. It's everything you could ever want in a salad and more. And not more than half an inch from the magnificent salad rest the spicy chicken teriyaki. Words fail at this point, but I will attempt to describe the majestic spicy chicken. The spicy sauce is the color of the sun and upon consuming it feels as if a symphony is being played in your mouth to the audience of your taste buds. I am a firm believer that the chicken evolved for the lone purpose of placing this sauce on it. It is spicy, but not too spicy. Like a parent making you go to bed early as a child, but then gently singing you to sleep. The chicken is tender and always perfectly cooked, a perfect companion to such a sauce. And all this deliciousness rest over a bed of rice. A combination truly made in heaven. I hope everyone at some point can experience a #2 from Soy Grill. A true delicacy hidden in the humble grounds of Gresham.

This is a little hole in the wall with amazing food. We always get chicken and veggies. So good! They could do a better job cleaning, but we just get ours to go.

Soy Grill is delish! One of the better teriyaki joints I've ventured into. +1 for being able to call in your order. The staff here is super friendly and they have quick service. Small place but most people take their orders to-go. Reasonable prices and plenty of food!

Upon entering this establishment and getting used to smell of singed hair that permeated the place, I ordered the spicy Teriyaki...YUMMMM! it was very good. Instantly, I noticed that my reaction to MSG was kicking in so off to the bathroom I went. The bathroom walls were cake with dried boogers. Not just one or two little snot wads but hundreds upon hundreds of dried boogers all within arms reach of the sitting position of the throne. Dont get me wrong, I can understand a booger flung acros the bathroom and hitting a stall door but the sheer quantity of boogers revealed that this had to come from somebody that uses this bathroom a lot! makes me wonder if an EMPLOYEE is to blame for these souvenirs? Do I dare eat there again thinking that my lunch could be tainted with boogers? I give to 2 stars for good tasting teriyaki with MSG but somebody please call the health department.

I love this place! I get the chicken and it always tastes fresh and is never dried out. And their special salad dressing is soooo good!! There used to be a monthly buy one get one coupon in the Clipper but I haven't got one in a few months but it is still an inexpensive good meal.

Restaurant was very dirty. There were no clean tables, the floors hadn't been mopped in a while and the food was luke warm, especially the salad. I went there because of the reviews, so dissapointed.

I am OBSESSED with the poppyseed dressing! I am only like ranch and I will eat this dressing with everything! It's amazing! The spicy teriyaki is bomb! They are so awesome because I even called 10 mins to closing time and they stayed open and whipped up my plate for me! I am in love with this place and the amazing food they pump out! My mouth is watering.... I'm ordering right now chicken teriyaki with rice and salad with bomb poppyseed dressing!!

Food was somewhere between ok and good. 3.5 Service was friendly. 4.5 Cleanliness was not good. All tables were dirty and the cleanest one (that we picked) was sticky. Bathroom was a disaster. 1

Am addicted to the combo plate with choice of 2 items (pork, beef or chicken) teriyaki. Have this place on speed dial and they always have my food ready when i get there!

This place needs more locations! I actually live in Vancouver, but ended up discovering this place while visiting with some friends in the Gresham area. Their $4 teriyaki chicken special is consistently one of the best teriyaki chicken plates I've ever had! Highly recommended.

I had no expectations, but was pleasantly surprised. Chicken was nice and charred, sauce was sweet, but not too sweet. It has strip mall ambiance, but passed the taste test. Order salad dressing on the side, or your lettuce will be doused.

Very good and fairly priced. If you like fish, try the salmon- it's fresh and moist...delicious.
