Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

I had this pixar a few nights ago with some family. The dough was soggy and kind if flavorless. The succeed tomatoes they had on the chicken and white sauce pizza though, they were good. That was about the only thing on the pizza that had any flavor.

Let me start with the good (would have been a 4 star review based on just this) I ordered a pizza (original crust), Cheezee bread and buffalo wings. I loved all of it. The wings were great, the bread tasty and the pizza quality. Ingredients were fresh, dips were good - all was good. Actually, I'd happily order again based on the food. However, let me explain the reason I went with 3 stars instead of 4. The deliver came in at a 1 or 2 star. We ordered the pizza at 6:05pm on a Tuesday. I received a confirmation email by 6:07 stating a deliver date/time of that evening at 6:52pm. 7pm passed, no pizza. I thought maybe they left at 7pm so I'd give them time to get from the store. 7:30pm, still no pizza. I called at 7:39pm to ask about it since it had been an hour and 30 minutes since order time. While I was on the phone, the pizza did show up. The deliver driver was friendly, order was accurate, person on the phone was nice... all service was good but delivery was SLOW for a Tuesday. Almost and hour and 40 minutes for pizza? I'm not sure I'd do that again. Also, I'm about 5 minutes from one Pizza Guys location but they delivered it from one that I'm well over 10 minutes from. Stranger things have happened I suppose. Would I order again? Maybe, it was great food. However, I need to see a faster delivery time from them. Edited to add: the owner contacted me to follow up on the slow delivery time. He looked up my order and did agree that it took longer than it should have. I truly appreciate the follow up and care that was received. That alone will keep me as a customer for another time. I am looking forward to those wings again and hopefully a faster delivery. Great service comes in all forms.

We got coupons in the mail for two pizzas $22, we decided to try it based on the deal. This pizza was so disgusting! I have never eaten a Hawaiian pizza that had so much grease on it. The second pizza was chicken bacon. The chicken was tasteless, obviously frozen. Also, frozen cardboard crust. Horrible! We will never be back! I wish there was a way to get them to stop inundating us with the coupons!! They are in our mailbox every week!!

I had lunch here for the first time with my mom earlier today and it was great. The staff was friendly and patient as we stood there having no idea what we wanted to order. I wasn't sure they would have a place inside to sit down and eat but they do have a few small tables -- not enough to throw a birthday party or anything, unless you are having a very lonely party, but perfect to have a meal with a friend or two. The portions we got were a little small, but it was perfect for the two little Asian ladies that we are. We ordered two personal pizzas, a side of "cheeze bacon bread," sodas and ice cream. I've never seen a pizza place offer ice cream before. Genius. How we have survived as a species until now, I am not sure.

We ordered delivery from here for the first time tonight. I have to say we were pretty impressed. Up front the gal taking my order told us it would be about an hour wait and she was dead on our pizza arrived at our door exactly an hour from the time I called! The offer several different types if pizzas and I love that they offer more than the "standard" combos, Hawaiian etc. We ordered the taco pizza and it was good, it's hard to beat the taco pizza from our favorite place back home but there's was good. They also offer several different types of garlic bread which is amazing we ordered the cheesy pesto bread and OMG was it amazing! We will be ordering from them again with out a doubt!!

Honestly I would love to give more stars but the customer service and cooks just don't allow it. Ordered while on the road (have had before and really liked it) so just looked at pictures to get an idea of what we wanted. Called in a pick up order of a large pepperoni and large tuscan garlic chicken. Was told 15-20 minutes. Got there exactly 15 minutes later. The cook was having a hard time with the ingrediants for the chicken pizza. I don't know how many times she looked to see if it got fresh basil. It also came out on thin crust. All the pictures online and even the flashing sign inside show it on regular crust. Yes the ingredient list shows thin but really? I mention this but was in a huge hurry. The manager did not care at all. Then after a full 30 minutes they are ready, again a huge hurry. Get in the car and drive away and realize she forgot the fresh basil!!!! Get a clue! Called in and the manager was quite rude "well what do you want me to do now". I could not turn around was already late (since again it took so long) the she says I can put a free garlic bread on your account. Sad because I would have really like to try that Tuscan pizza again the way I was expecting it to turn out, lost my buisiness though. Not willing to fix a problem is a huge no no in my book.

I called pizza guys this afternoon and ordered their pesto pizza. They delivered the pizza within 20 min (as they told me they would). It arrived nice and hot and they even delivered plates Parmesan, and pepper flakes which I had forgotten to even ask for so that was a plus!!! I'm such a fanatic when it comes to think crust pizza and any pizza with artichoke hearts on it and this pizza did not dissapoint! It was absolutely amazing. I can't stop eating it and I bought an XL!!!!! I would 100 percent recommend you try this place if your a pizza lover. Next time I order I'm going to try one of the other items on the order as well!!!!! Yum!! Way to go pizza guys!

Horrible service, horrible pizza! We received some coupons by mail advertising two large pizzas for $20 we placed an order online (site was very hard to navigate) we entered the coupon code correctly but when they delivered our food they only brought ONE pizza saying that we had only payed for one the driver then said that their pizzas were kind of expensive. This was a bad experience and we will never eat there again nor would we recommend this place. :(

The pizza and jalepeno poppers they do are pretty good. The topings are just right. Have never had a cold pizza from them either. And if your on a budget it's worth it.. even if you find there 2 for 20.00 it's a good deal... there always running specials and promotions. friendly staff aswell. Much better than an over priced pizza from pizza hut.

Ran into Michael as he was flying out at the airport. He mentioned they delivered in my area which only pizza hut delivers and I hate Pizza Hut!! So I was happy to hear. We went in tonight and picked some up to head to a friends. I was impressed better than other big name pizza joints. We were all satisfied and had no complaints. Friendly speedy service I will def be ordering from them again. I will let you know how delivery goes but I look forward to be able to order and get delivery from somewhere besides Pizza Hut

Slow, inexperienced service aside, the pizza is overpriced and very ordinary. The crust is tough and chewy even when fresh. They also do not offer carry out specials the way their competitors do. Do not waste your time or money.

  • Matthew W.

Their prices are expensive and they are slow. They said it would be 15mins and we were still waiting after 25min. After we got the pizza and left we looked at it and it was very greasy. We got their traditional pizza crust that was typical thickness. Because they use a crust rolling machine it does not all air to develop in the dough which in turn makes for a soggy crust. The toppings were plentiful but the sauce was bland. Overall it is not a very good pizza for being expensive.

Pizza Hut and Dominos have changed their whole business model to stay clear of chewy, cheese less, scarce topping, over priced pizza because it ruined their reputation. Well pizza guys decided to carry on the legacy. Average at best. Won't last at this rate.
