After a long day driving from Bend to Gresham, decided to have my favorite cuisine food. Ordered to-go. In 10 minutes food was ready, with necessary to-go items like napkins, plastic utensils, hot-sauce all packed and good to go. Most of the restaurants I either had to double check if the needed items are included and had to ask for it. Ordered thai basil fried rice (med spice level) and pad see eww. The pad see was dry and too many broccoli. Had I known, would have asked them to go easy on the broccoli. Fried rice was good and could have again not used ingredients like asparagus, mushroom and diced tomatoes.

Meh. No reason to go back. One timer. Stupid white people dining who don't know Thai food. No Asian diners should have been a clue t o me. My bad. Boring tepid food. Never again.

We go here pretty regularly and have had great experiences since about the winter of 2010. I understand where the tough reviews came from, prior to that it they were deserved but the food made a dramatic turn around after that. I recommend this Thai food above everything else in Gresham.

Overall good quality of Food. Nice clean inside. Friendly staff. Here is the deal when you are shopping for a deal....that is as good as it gets. You cant get a great deal and great food. It just doesnt happen. Dont get me wrong thinds seem fresh. The food is all prepared as you order. As close to being non pre made as you can get. The vegetables are cut in a fancy style the full show is put on. It just doesnt get to the wow. Its just food on a plate ready for you to consume without you having to make it. If they changed prices and upped the anti a little bit...i think they would be playing out of their league. This is what it is. A good lunch spot with decent food at good prices. I think the prices are what pull you in and keep you coming back. You will most likely never be dissappointed, but never say that was the best Thai ever.

Came in for lunch couldn't decide what to have. The nice waitress asked what we liked, she recommended a not on the menu item .asparagus and prawn stir fry... Yum. We are gluten free and they are super accommodating. We will be back

This Thai place is my general go to place for pad Thai and spring rolls! Yum! However do not get the pad see ew, no bueno, and be specific with the amount of spice you want. Pale skin, for some reason seems to equal no spice even after you've said "medium hot"....nonetheless this place is still yummy.

I've been looking for some good curry in my new neighborhood (Wood Village), but was not impressed with Vi Thai, which is just up the street from me. Asian Thai Bistro is nearly a ten minute drive, but is the next closest Thai place to my house. I saved their number and address in my phone to give them a try some time. We are in the middle of a kitchen remodel, so I was going to pick up some curry from my old Thai place since I was in the neighborhood and on my way home from class. They decided to leave me on hold for five minutes, until I finally hung up. So it was time to give the Asian Thai Bistro a try! I was excited to see they have pumpkin curry (my favorite) and pineapple curry (my husband's favorite)! They were pretty good - my only complaints was that the ingredients were all pretty big chunks. We also ordered the chicken skewers - these were delicious!! I could have eaten 20 more of these. :)

Our server was nice, our food was delicious, and our food came out fast! The drunken noodles, three flavored tilapia, and the crab wontons all had such unique and distinct flaovors. You can tell that the chefs who make the food know what they're doing.

Great food. Friendly service. Great portions that give you enough for lunch the next day! Great Pad Thai!

First time at this restaurant. No problem with parking. Massaman curry is rich and flavorful. My husband ordered Pad Thai and enjoyed it...a lot. Salad rolls were great! Some of the best peanut sauce I've ever had. Service is impeccable. The restaurant is clean, comfortable and quiet - we ate with two other couples and we didn't have to raise our voices to be heard. Nice place.

The space in this restaurant cries remodel. It's just too big for a little thai place and really lacks cozy in a huge way. The lighting is also a little disconcerting. We walked in to a bunch of unbussed tables so it looked like they had been slammed and did not have enough help. It did not really give us a "clean" feeling to the place either. Typhoon closed so maybe they are having to pick up the slack. We ordered their shrimp rolls, which were really salad rolls as there was one small piece of shrimp hidden in the leaves. They make them huge but it's all lettuce mostly. One of those times when size does not matter. Their peanut sauce was warm and it did have that solid peanutty taste. Next up was the papaya salad. The papaya was fairly crunchy, which is a good thing, and there was some "hot" sprinkled within that zinged us from time to time. I do like that their salad is not on the sweet side like some places. We also ordered prawn asparagus/green bean curry. The curry was fine overall and the veggies were cooked just enough. The prawns were on the small side. It's really a 2.5 star as it's more meh then A ok.. so maybe it's a mehok?

I absolutely recommend this place, we have been coming here for years and have never, once, had a bad experience like all the low reviews talk about. It might just have been the old chef, or the old management, but I honestly can't say I've ever heard of anyone else who has gone there having such bad experiences either. It's usually quite quiet, uncrowded, and for the most part the staff don't come bothering us all the time. It's a good place to sit and enjoy without servers coming every five minutes to check on you, I hate that. I have only ever tried one dish that I could not stand, and it was definitely just the sauce they used on the beef- not to my taste was all. But other than that one, I have not had a dish I didn't think was amazing. My family and I LOVE Thai food and have been to many, many Thai restaurants. The price is incredibly reasonable, the food delicious, the portions huge, and the service just fine. The girls are shy and timid but smiling and joking with them gets them to loosen up and enjoy serving us. In fact a few of them know us and our orders by heart.

Good, fresh local Thai food. The waitstaff are usually great. No complaints, we go every couple weeks and it's always good.

Took 3 friends out for Thai food one night, decided to try this place. The place was mostly empty at dinner time, way underlit, and the staff not very friendly. We were seated near an indoor water fountain which constantly made an annoying gurgling sound that drove me crazy. All of the silverware, plates, and glasses were disgusting with grease smudges and some stuck on food. Despite this, we decided to try the food. The pad see ew (called something else on their menu) was bland and lukewarm. I ended up drowning it in a side of peanut sauce just to give it some flavor. The atmosphere, service, and food do not justify the prices. In a metro area with more Thai restaurants than Thai immigrants, you can afford to be picky. Try Srivichai (yummy) just down the street or even Typhoon (as a last resort) at Gresham Station.

I have been here on multiple occasions, and it's always delicious. The food and service are always good. Regardless of the entrée choice, I always leave happy and full, and trust me I eat a lot! This is one of a handful of Thai restaurants in Portland that feel genuine.

Well, typically I can write a decent amount about an experience but there just isn't much to say here. Came here for my sister's birthday. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time and was decent, but definitely not memorable. I'll probably try something else once I go back - I had the told tried & true pad see ew. Ladies working were polite and gave my sister a free (and strange) thai desert dinner.

I really wanted to like this place, it's frequently busy. In fact, I have called twice for takeout and been turned away because they were too busy to take anymore orders. Guaranteed right? Ugh, no. I think the the very, very scarce selection of Thai food we have in East County has scorned some of the Eastie's taste buds. I got takeout, pot stickers and spicy basil with brown rice, medium spicy with shrimp. $17.10, Yes you read that right, $17.10. Now, I don't mind paying top dollar for the best food, but that is not what I got. Pot stickers were really good, cooked perfect and tasted great. Brown rice was good. But the spicy basil was REALLY bland and I got 4 shrimp. Yes, 4 shrimp. I honestly would never go back here, the Thai place up the street is much better and cheaper.

This place is really good. They have quality food for a fairly decent price. The appetizers are delicious and the times I have been here I loved my entrée.

The meal was, "meh." It wasn't disgusting or anything. But It just doesn't compare to Srivichai (just up the street from them.) I had to come to this place because Srivichai owners are vacationing in Thailand. They were OK. But just in my opinion doesn't compare with the other.

Service was fast, friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our potstickers, and my husband's pad thai was nice (if a bit cold), but don't order the beef meatball soup. It tasted like beef flavored Top Ramen, and didn't come with the scallions and bean sprouts mentioned on the menu. Just beef broth, noodles, a few pieces of sliced beef, and three meatballs that had the consistency of the meatballs you'd find in a can of Chef Boyardee. I should have said something, but we were in a hurry to get to a movie.

Came in for a take out dinner. Ordered some drinken noodles, pad Thai, summer rolls, a mango-sweet rice salad. The girl up front was very friendly, offering me a glass of water while I wait. Her beaming smile got the experience started off right. She made you feel like they were waiting for you to come in all day!! That alone would make me want to come back time and time again!! The meal tasted great! Portions were huge for the dinners, will be able to have lunch tomorrow as well!

Their food was tasty, good portions, but service was inconsistant. Our table of four was tended to by two servers. One was perfect, the other gal didn't even listen and ordered the wrong dish. If you go in, you'll enjoy the food, the setting isn't too bad, but you are not guaranteed great or accurate service.

Pad Thai.............ketchup seemed to be the base for the sauce, maybe 2 ounces of chicken. Honey Pork........fatty, mushrooms so rubbery they would barely cut in half. Not enough ice in the water to even chill. Wish we would have tried the Thai place down the road...........Won't be back

Pass the nam pla please! The food is pretty good, but the portions are a little too small. The Thai fried rice is fairly plain, but the pad kee mao tasted quite good. The basil flavor came through well, but the vegetables were chopped large and left them partially underdone. The pad kee mao was chopped into squares, or perhaps they fell apart during the cooking; in either case the noodles were not long and difficult to eat. I asked the waitress for my normal accoutrement in a Thai restaurant: chilis in fish sauce. She comes back five minutes later to tell me that they don't have fish sauce. I asked again saying nam pla. no fish sauce. I don't feel the need to eat here again, the food tasted fine but no chilis to add to my food? yikes! no nam pla mee no eat! PS the happy hour gives you 5 cents off the normal menu price...

I went there night before last and I will not be going there ever again. There isn't much to choose from in Grrrrrresham when it comes to thai food. I've gone to this place before when I've been desperate and had no way of going elsewhere. This place is BAD! You can tell it's bad just by looking at the sign and menu. It's like a 8 year old with clip art put it together. When describing the Tangerine Sauce Chicken or maybe it was duck... The menu doesn't say that the dish comes with "fresh steamed vegetables" or "vegetable medley" , it simply says with "some" vegetables. Telling me my dish comes with "some" vegetables automatically alerts me to the fact that this place doesn't care about quality. Anywho... I ordered 'House Curry Noodles' and as previously mentioned in a review the solidified clump of noodles had seperated itself from the sauce. One of the veggies in the dish was baby corn. I despise baby corn. I tried one and could taste the tin can it had come from, so I fed the rest to my dog. To top this all off, as I'm walking my take out down the street, I feel something dripping on my feet. I look down to find curry allover myself. The bag they had packed everything in had a hole in it and the container wasn't closed. Lame. This place is only good for nights when you find yourself stranded in Gresham and have no other options and even then I'd just skip the urge to go here.

Do not, what ever you do, get takeout from this place. I've never ate in the restaurant itself, but my boyfriend and I got takeout and boy was it a disaster. The sauce and noodles were completely seperated from each other, and the flavors did not come together nicely. I've ordered drinks from the place in the past, and they would always give attitude since I didn't order anything big (mind you it was to-go)

Not sure what all the complaints are about. I've been here a few times and I always get the chicken pad thai, which is delicious (and huge)! I always have leftovers to take home. The spring roll appetizers are really tasty as well. The service is good. The inside of the restaurant is really spacious and has beautiful plant murals that take up huge walls. Plus, there's never anyone in there, which I love, as it makes for a low-key dining experience. I personally think it's Gresham's best kept Thai secret.

Not sure what everyone is talking about. We had a date a night recently and wanted to get some Thai food. We refused to go to Typhoon and thought we'd try a place on Main Street. When we got there it was warm and we were seated quickly. The decorations were not the best but it was ok. We ordered the Yellow Curry, Steamed Veggies w/ Tofu and Basil Thai Fried Rice. The curry was great. Full of flavor and good amounts of chicken, the veggies were great and so was the rice. Between my wife and I, we ate three plates of food. Overall, the prices were decent, the portions reasonable and service great. Our waitress didn't speak much but she was very nice and our water glass was never empty. Best Thai food around. We'll be going back!

Loved the Panang curry. Nice atmosphere in downtown Gresham. Love to go there with my wife for relaxing meal. They also adjust spice to your tastes which is great.

We live 2 blocks away, so it doesn't get any more convenient! We at there a few times about a month ago, and it was really good (WAY better than the crap Typhoon serves). We decided to order takeout last night...when my fiancé' went to pick up the food, they proudly are displaying a sign that said "under new management"....when we opened the containers we knew we were in for it. I ordered mussaman curry with tofu...the tofu pieces used to be bite sized and wonderful, now they look like they just cut a block of tofu in 1/4s and flash fried it...the vegetables were sparse and the curry was flavorless.....the second dish was pad ki mao (drunken noodles) and the chicken looked like it was ground (GROSS!!) and there was hardly any flavor to the noodles. Also, the new management decided to raise their prices...LAME. Needless to say, we will NOT be back. I recommended you spend your money elsewhere and enjoy your food!

I decided to write this after almost not going here because of the reviews. This is place is tasty, good service and clean. The drunken noodles are superb, I ate all the pad thai with tofu, cashew beef had good cuts of meat, massaman curry super creamy. We ordered four dishes to go for six people, ate it all and were stuffed and satisfied!

I wish someone would of Yelped on this restaurant before I decided to go eat there. Lucky me. SoOoOoOoOo....I wanted some really good Thai food, but didn't want to go all the way into Portland to get some. My hubby and I decided to try Gresham since it has plenty of Thai restaurants on Main street, unfortunately we picked a bad one. The atmosphere was great and service was nice, but the food was really bad. We first ordered the appetizers of egg rolls and curry chicken skewers to share together. The egg rolls were small and greasy and the chicken skewers were just thin slices of chicken stabbed with a long stick. Whooo hooo. Nothing to talk about. Next, the main dish. I ordered the pad thai and my hubby ordered the red curry chicken with veggies.I hoped they would do better on the main dish, but I was wrong. I should of known better. If the appetizers are bad, don't expect the main dish to get any better. My hubby's dish was actually "ok". Nice and spicy with fresh vegetables. However.....my pad thai was the worst I've ever tasted. It was if they forgot to put the peanut sauce on and just soaked the rice noodles in a stale oyster sauce. My hubby made the comment that it tasted like a wet dog. How nice is that? Yeah it was bad, but they were kind enough to refund us. "NO-Go" to the Asian Bistro on Main street.
