Wow I'm kind of horrified, and shocked by the reviews I read below. Last weekend was my first trip to this shop and I came back the next day for a pick me up before heading back to Portland. Next time I'm in Eugene for another family function I'll plan to return. The barista was incredibly nice and friendly, albeit sort of a quiet person. He was very engaging as he made me a really delicious drink. We talked about the fact that they have vegan hot dogs available, among their food selection. (Pastries, sandwiches, etc.) My best friend is vegan, so I'm always looking for places around town that have something she can enjoy. Anyway, I ordered a granola bar wedge along with my iced white mocha on my first visit. I liked the big chunks of walnuts in the granola bar. No idea if they make this in house or if it's from a local company or what. The next day when I returned for a caffeine blast to send me up i5, I chatted with the same guy as the day before and he made me another yummy iced white mocha. (Yay for consistency!) Come to find out he's one of the owners, and he and his brother have had the place for 15 years. I thought that was pretty cool. I'll be back to support this small, local business. -Shame on the people being super judge-y. This is Eugene, for hippie's sakes. :)

Wow! That was a scary encounter... Over priced and flat out strange! The barista appeared to be stoned, my mom actually wondered if he had just robbed the place, as he appeared lost and looked like he'd been in a fight. He was very rude and actually told me as we were leaving "Just so ya know... I won't ever wait on you again." $2.40 for a single shot Americano I was honestly afraid to drink & didn't, that's how uneasy he made us feel.

I had the worst experience ever at this coffee shop. We went in this morning to get some coffee the guy at the window looked asleep and disgruntled. Then we ordered a hot mocha and an Iced mocha both came back burnt with no flavor. I would say avoid it just go next door to dairy mart it would be better.

I live next to this place & honestly this guy makes the BEST real coffee in this area!! I'm always gonna like this place & recommend it to friends & family. & who cares if the barista is odd.. this Eugene get over it and drink good coffee Keep up the baller work guys!

I regret that I was a dick about the guy working last time - he seems nice enough, just not customer service oriented at all. He's also kinda slow - it would have been faster to drive somewhere else and back than he spent making two iced quad mochas. But when he warned me that there coffee is rather strong & not to drink both of them myself, he actually showed some personality, so now I feel bad for implying he's some kind of murderer (which he still could be I guess). He was right though - this coffee will keep me going all day!

Your typical, run of the mill coffee place. Nice set up but the barista was a bit odd.
