Went there to scope the open mic night in town visiting an old friend and it was pretty disappointing. My half black/Cherokee friend was stared at by what turned out to be a pretty racist and intolerant crowd. The old white pool players scoffed at the idea of her playing pool. The bartender Checked our IDs as a mild form of harassment and solidarity with the customers. Decided to drink a beer outside and not trying to play pool. Pretty bad vibe, never going again. The open mic was pretty lame too, same crappy electric guitar sounds from two guys, no vocals.

The name is kind of misleading; the bar isn't the main attraction here (though there is seating for about 6 on a walk-up basis.) Mulligans is one of the few swank restaurants in town (think Red Agave dress code.) Definitely not Stuffy Old Republican Swank, either. The grub is a somewhat unpredictable fusion-pacific-northwest kind of thing. Everything I've tried has been delivered with a keen eye for presentation. With such a strong theme going on here, I was surprised to find that they have Coors Light on tap, and visible to the dining area. Bad form, but not enough to dock them a star. This place is always a pleasant and satisfying experience

Your neighborhood dive bar. Good place to have a brew and watch the game with other locals. Great open mic nights on Wednesdays and Sundays, it really gets hopping on those nights. Two pool tables. Look, this place is nothing special. They don't have food and thank goodness smoking isn't allowed inside.

Mulligans is an absolutely great bar! Atmosphere, fun, & drinks all wrapped up into one very cozy little package. In fact, I love it so much I've taken the liberty of coining a few advertisements of my own for their establishment! They are as followed, 1.) "Mulligans Pub: A little urine never hurt!" 2.) "Mulligans Pub: This cocktail tastes like my uncle Robert..." 3.) "Mulligans Pub: You can't catch herpes twice!" 4.) Mulligans Pub: "We're not for slavery or anything...but if we were...we totally would be." 5.) Mulligans Pub: "Fuck you"

All I can say about this place is......wow. This is the ONLY place I have ever been to where you can go to the smoking patio and actually see people smoking weed and doing lines. No joke. I went there for first time in the summer of 2011 and was disgusted. This is only a place for a true bar fly. Don't go there if you want atmosphere, polite company and any sort of entertainment unless you are a fan of the Jerry Springer type of crowd. The bar tender is rude, the place is filthy and the patrons are sketchy at best. All I wanted to do was run home, take a shower and get a vaccination.

This place has nightly specials, some amazing bartends (tip Tom big, he's a gem), and an impressively eclectic band of followers. All that said, a place better to come with a group of males... Most of the guys lingering here are pretty skeezy.
