Great price, great food, great service. Lindsey, our server was such a delight and so beautiful as well. I will definitely be back.

Me my wife and son went in there for breakfast and while the service was good the bacon was like jerky and the hash browns were soggy. There were no prices for sides and a side Of bacon and hash browns was $7 and we didn't even eat them because of the way they were cooked. So for $31 nobody was satisfied will Never go back pretty sad place. Plus $2 for a single serve 12oz can of soda

Not worth a second visit. Very disappointing! The service was horrible! We sat there for 15 minutes before they even decided to bring us coffee. Then it took another 10 minutes for the waitress to come back and take our order. It wasn't even busy. When the food arrived the eggs and hash browns were greasy and the corned beef hash was canned! I could of made a better breakfast at home.

We had been driving around, starving, trying to find a breakfast place that wasn't packed after the UO game last night. We saw the sign for Mom's, which looked like a nice, local place. Service was friendly, coffee was decent and the food was home cooking style and very good. I had the taco omlette, their special, with hash browns, my husband had the chicken friend streak and eggs and my daughter had French toast. It was all delicious and reasonable. We will be back.

I really like this place for breakfast and husband agrees! The biscuits and gravy are wonderful and side of bacon (only live once) is wonderful and inexpensive. The feel of the place is small and special. Mom is great and the cook is wonderful. The servers are always upbeat and friendly! GOOD FOOD GREAT PRICE : )

We heard about a new breakfast place opening on Hwy 99, so this morning when we found ourselves looking for some place to eat, we figured we'd give Mom's Cafe a try. Thus started a half hour drive trying to find this place. We initially assumed it was out towards Beltline. But as I googled for the address (the business didn't consider making a FB or Yelp page, or anything else to promote themselves), google kept putting me on Hwy99 and Polk, which does indeed have a business at number 1295, but it wasn't the cafe. WARNING: Yelp also lists the wrong location! After ten minutes we finally just called, but that was no more helpful, since they were completely incapable of describing were they are located: "Hi, we're trying to find you, where are you located?" "1295 Hwy 99" "Yeah, we have the address... do you know the cross street?" "Uhm... no." "Is it near Polk?" "I don't think so." "Okay, so it's not near downtown?" "No, it's towards Junction City." "Oh, it's past Beltline?" "No." "Okay... what is it near?" "[Some shopping center]" "Okay, thanks." So we googled that center, whatever the name was, and went to that address instead, which is on Hwy 99 maybe halfway between the overpass and Beltline. Once we found the place and sat down, we were greeted by loud music that announced the start of the Rush Limbaugh Show. Oh no. Seriously? That's about the greatest business faux pas I can imagine, loudly broadcasting (way off-center) political propaganda. And in Eugene no less? Way to alienate 75% of your potential customers... We had to spend the rest of our breakfast listening to the obnoxious sleazy voice of Rush Limbaugh loudly broadcast it into our ears. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to hear some bullshit liberal station either, or be forced to watch Michael Moore. I just don't enjoy a side of propaganda, lies, and logical fallacies with my breakfast. The food was mediocre. Not very filling, the portions weren't particularly large, the very greasy corned beef hash was just the stuff from a can, the hash browns were dripping with vegetable oil and had no flavor, and the French toast was just three slices of plain, light bread. No garnish like fruit or anything like that. I didn't see a side of fruit on the menu either. Not sure vegetables are served here. And the prices weren't super high, but too high for canned/frozen stuff. $9 for a small, greasy portion of corned beef hash from a can? I can do way better here in town. I don't know whose "Mom" this diner is copying, but it would be an insult to compare my mom's amazing cooking with this stuff. I'd rather eat at home than come back here.

With regard to the person with such a negative review, I have a few comments and suggestions. First off, not everyone is tech savvy and therefore doesn't post information on fb, yelp or other places that the rest of us usually look first. I looked on the usual places and found they had nothing there yet. I figured they are new enough that they were busy setting up their restaurant and were going to get to it soon enough. So, I looked up the address and went for it. I found the place with no trouble. I usually don't rely totally on my gps, I rely on finding addresses the old fashioned way, going to the address. That way, I don't end up in the snow at the end of a logging road or something like that. With regard to calling the folks for directions, they may be new in town and don't know the perfect way of telling you where they are. Rush Limbaugh. Well, he isn't someone I would like to listen to so I would have "nicely" asked them to change the station or turn off the radio. I bet they would have done that. The food. I have had the fish and chips, cobb salad (there are plenty of veggies in the salad) and my husband has had their burgers. We both found the portions to be adequate. Neither of us gorge ourselves or expect to take leftovers home. If you want that much food, go to GJ's. The french toast looks great on your picture. What more could have been done? Did you want an orange slice on the side or something? You probably wouldn't have eaten it anyway. The corned beef hash does look a bit off. I would have "nicely" asked them to redo the hash. They could be from another state where this type of hash is acceptable. We here in Eugene tend to be a bit spoiled in that the selection of restaurants is abundant. The service is good as long as the place isn't packed. It was the day my husband went in, but he said the lady seemed a bit overwhelmed. She is older and seemed to be truly trying to get to everyone in a timely manner. As with most new businesses, there is a breaking-in period. Well, I hope I have droned on about my thoughts on Mom's in a bit more positive way than the other person. I hope folks will give them a try and offer nice constructive criticism.

I called in to order a to-go breakfast on my birthday and ended up not even getting food! I ordered the eggs benedict ( english muffin topped with ham, egg, and hollandaise sauce) and I asked if I could have sausage instead of ham, she asked the kitchen and said yes. She told me it would be ready in 20 minutes. When I went to pick it up she walked back into the kitchen and came out saying that she couldn't do the sausage on the eggs benedict. I asked why and she said "the cook just wont do it, we only have sausage links not pattys" I was confused as to why you can't set sausage links on top of an english muffin but she wasn't budging soI said "whatever I'll just have the ham" She then went to run my card and stopped and said " Do you still want me to run this? It's going to be about 40 minutes." "What?! How could it be 40 minutes I called in 25-30 minutes ago?!" I said. Her response was " Well we got a lot of orders and were busy" So since I called they got a bunch of orders and put them all in front of mine? How else could it go from a 20 minute wait when I called to a 60 minute wait by the time I show up? I don't know what they're doing but I left with no food and I'm gonna get my birthday breakfast elsewhere :)

I stopped in here to have a late breakfast. I was greeted nicely and served quickly. The Food was good, the environment was clean, and cozy inside! One of my favorite parts of the cafe is that I got to keep listening to Rush Limbaugh as I ate my meal! I love diversity, and I have finally found a place that is truly open minded in Eugene, Oregon. I will be back!

My husband and I made our first visit to Mom's today, and were very pleased with the cleanliness, the service, and the food. It is a cute little cafe across from "The Gilbert Shopping Center"on Hwy. 99. I chose to have an omelette. The hash browns were perfectly prepared, and not greasy in the least. The omelette had fresh spinach and tomatoes in it, rather than frozen, which is what I'm used to getting at most restaurants that I've been to in the Eugene area. The egg portion of the omelette was done inside, and was fluffy, with the outside not overcooked. The service was great, with the wait staff being very attentive, but not overly so, and quite personable. I will be going back, and would encourage others to give "Mom's" a try. They are open for breakfast and lunch.

I visited Mom's last week and was pleasantly surprised! It is a very quaint and old fashioned style restaurant, like the ones we visited when I was growing up! I enjoyed the decor immensely with all of the old photos and especially those of the Eugene area since I grew up in this town. :) I found the food to be VERY good and yes, there was no seasoning, but from working in restaurants, that is done because many people are on low sodium or allergic to different seasonings. So, in a nutshell, I would go back again and highly recommend it for your old style type of food! The portions were generous and when I asked for "crispy" bacon, I got crispy bacon! Usually when I ask for it at other places I get "wilted" bacon, not crispy. The staff were friendly, but only one and it was quite busy, so service did seem a bit slow. Hopefully as they get their legs under them, they will be able to hire others to help out. I did mention to them about the incorrect address on Google and I do not believe they are computer savvy from the way she reacted. Address is correct. To Claire V. did you even bother to ask them if they knew that Google was misdirecting customers? For anyone trying to find the place, it is across from Fairfield St just north of Putters (Old Lou & Ev's for those who grew up here). Hope that helps!

Its a good reasonable priced mom and pop place. The restart is very clean and decorated with a cute vintage flair. The food takes alittle while to come out but its worth the wait. I fed my family of 6 (my husband myself and our 4 children) for $40...

We've been a few times, and the food is pretty good as far as diners are concerned. No complaints there. The service however is a bit sketchy. We've gone in twice with a large party (8) and they are not able to handle it. Both times our food came out in intervals - and I mean with no logical pattern. You can expect your breakfast to come out with your side of gravy 15 minutes later, or your side sausage first then the rest of your breakfast 10 minutes later. Then after we ate and received our bill, we were told they liked us coming in but it would be easier if WE split up our order into two parts because they can't handle it. She announced it at our table for the whole place to hear. Awkward. Good place for 2 people, not so much for a large family. You would think a newer establishment would be more excited about a hundred dollar ticket.

Driving by and saw this cozy place... Finaly a breakfast place nearby thats cozy and clean. I ordered chicken fried steak and my other half got a Half order of buiscuts amd gravy. The food was fantastic! Love this place and will definatly return. People complaining about the radio in these other reviews are ignorant and get there jollys by causing problems with other people. Great job moms! Only thing they could improve on is coffee:)

I have eaten here the last two weekends. It is definitely a mom and pop place! On our first visit they kindly opened up 10 minutes early for us. We were seated and hot coffee handed to us. Our breakfast was served fast and was delicious. The bacon was nice and thick and my boyfriend swears by their sausage. My coffee never once was empty. I have yet to hear this radio that others are complaining about. It is now our go to place for breakfast. Eat local and skip the franchise!!

Maybe I'm Oldfashion but I try to locate as many mom and pops place as I can .. This one is located in an intersection and depending what part if town you're coming from.. You may have to make a U-turn . Parking is pretty hard to find if they are full... Service: either the owners or their niece... Need some finessing but I heard they're goin through tough times .. Food: I ordered the Spanish omelet.. It's Ok.. But my omelet is over cooked and the salsa was extremely salty.. Hash brown was excellent... Wish I went for the pancakes . Coffee is good and strong.

Nice people, food was good, only negatives are the hashbrowns are very greasy and they never visited my table for a follow up after my food was delivered. Not a big deal as I was not drinking coffee, but it's my like it was busy but still it's part of the dining experience. I give them 3 stars this time, but I will be back, and hopefully giving a 4 star review at that time.
