Absolutely LOVE this place. Great coffee, they serve Honolulu Coffee Company which is awesome. We lived in Hawaii for 6 years and got to know the owners of HCC so once we moved back to the mainland it was really nice to have that connection. Plus it's just awesome coffee. The service is great, everyone is always super friendly and helpful and the ice cream here is spectacular, really rich and creamy. Be warned though, get there before 4pm because on slow days they will close early. One of the benefits of owning the joint and living in a small town! One more thing, they are CASH ONLY which is really no big deal, just be prepared.

By far the best coffee in the area. Enjoyed the company with a nice brew of Hawaiian Estate berry brew. Worth the stop! the owner is awesome and will make you feel welcome!

Expensive for what you get, in my opinion. We stopped for ice cream and the line was quite long. Only one guy working, who seemed pretty laid back, like he might be on island time. They had Tillamook ice cream, which is always great, but the scoops were tiny. My husband called them kids size. Overall, this place is conveniently located and has good ice cream, but way overpriced for such tiny scoops.

If you want great service and a wide variety of cold and warm drinks, this is the place to go. They even have a sweet treat for your four legged friend. I've been going here since I was about 4, and this is the only place in Cannon Beach I will get my ice cream. The shop is right in the middle of town, so it can get very busy, but if you don't mind it's a great place to go. A couple downsides that might, I said might, hinder your wonderful experience. They only take cash, so make sure you have plenty of that. The shop closes around 8-8:30 depending on the time of year, but even during the summer they aren't open late. And, make sure to have a plan B or what you want. Because it is such a popular ice cream place that sells a few other drinks and ice cream treats, the ice cream goes fast. Osburn's has been around forever, and should stick around for a long time. And when you're in town, it's a must that you go here.

Huge menu of ice cream, shakes and coffee. We ordered Kona coffee and it was delicious! Very nice Hawaiian decor, very friendly owner! Cute spot to hang out!

Stopped in for ice cream and the resident dog, Ozzy Osbourne, made out stop awesome. We sat outside on the beach, pleasuring our tongues with the sweet cold sugar cones when Ozzy came back leisurely and sat in front of us. He wasn't pushy or invasive, but he stalked us like he wanted to murder our ice cream. His attention would shift from person to person until the last cone was given to him, then he would move on to the next group. Go for the ice cream, stay for Ozzy!

After being dissapointed for multiple times at Bella Espresso, I didn't expect anything when I decided to try this place. I was surprised that their coffee is actually pretty good! This place will definately be my future choice for coffee over Bella Espresso across the street.

Best place to get ice cream on Cannon Beach. And they've got Kona Coffee! But I'm knocking off one star because they only accept cash.

Reasonable prices and a great selection of tillamook ice cream. Friendly staff and decent portion sizes. Waffle cone was tasty as well. Occasionally runs out of different flavors of ice cream. Cash only.

Went here for ice cream after lunch. They have a nice selection of Tillamook ice creams, as well as a soft serve frozen yogurt option. I ended up getting the Brown Cow, while my boyfriend got the mint chocolate chip. Of course, both were delicious. The portion they gave us was good, and the prices were fair. They also have lots of coffee drinks and milkshakes on their menu. Some of them sounded pretty interesting, so I definitely have to try them when I'm in Cannon Beach again. Also, cash only!

This place gets a major bump for simply having a great atmosphere. With the Kona coffee, Reggae music, and tiki vibe, it's a fun place to just chill. They offer a good selection of Tillamook ice creams...quality ice creams although they don't stand up to the micro-batch ice creams of the world. The selection of specials and sundaes also makes this place great. They have an array of real fruit smoothies, will make a milkshake out of any flavor of ice cream, and have some great sundae options including waffle bowls. My girlfriend had the Chai Sundae, basically vanilla ice cream with hot Oregon Chai poured over it, topped with whipped cream. It was a tasty combo and we both really enjoyed it. Portions were appropriate and prices were reasonable. Honestly what holds this place back from a fifth star for me is the ice cream..for a native Oregonian Tillamook is very run of the mill. Other than that, everything was superb.

Now takes credit cards (finally!). Waffle cones are oversized and a bit too much for kids but who's complaining. Great service, super nice. Would definitely go back.

Open late for your Tillamook ice-cream needs, this place did not disappoint. I had the Brown Cow, my husband had an Oregon Chai, and our friends shared a tall and from all descriptions delicious ice-cream shake. Only disappointment was that it's cash-only. Extra points to this place, for clearing our hearts, stomachs, and minds from the most repulsive dinner we'd ever collectively eaten at The Local Grill & Scoop. I was ready to sob from happiness when the ice-cream tasted like ice-cream, and not say, rancid garlic butter.

Great place, Lemon Meringue ice cream is the best if they have it in. It's an every trip kinda ice cream.

Stopped in for the first time today. Cute place, great menu, terrible service. The guy in front of me and I stood at the counter waiting for service while four or five of the kiddos staffing the place carried on their conversations and glanced over from time to time. Umm... Hello?.... I don't think asking to order is too much of a request... But if it is, Bella Espresso is across the way and I never have a problem getting a decent cup of coffee and service for a good price.

Love this place! It reminds me of a movie-esque beach shack with its Hawaiian/surf decor, propped open door, and super chill and friendly staff. The line is very confusing when you first enter because there's no obvious sign indicating where to start, so everyone just crowds around the first cash register until the next person happens to make eye contact with one of the servers. And I say first cash register because there's another one at the other end of the shop that sometimes a server will use, but not all the time, and you can't tell when it'll be used, so everything is very free-flowing. Where do you go? Is it your turn? Are you cutting someone in line? Nobody knows. The menu boards are also jampacked with all sorts of offerings yet nowhere is the price of a basic ice cream cone apparent. I was pleasantly baffled. I still am. But all of that just adds to the general hubbub so I didn't mind. The ice cream is delicious and comes in an impressive variety of flavors. There are classic ones like Strawberry, Coffee, Mint Chocolate Chip, etc; but also fun/local ones like Huckleberry Heaven, Tillamook Mudslide, Maui Waui, and Marionberry Pie. The staff will let you sample if you ask! My Tillamook Mudslide was a veeery chocolatey chocolate ice cream with chocolate chips. The ice cream is also blessedly inexpensive - one-scoop cone and cup together only cost $6! But I still don't know how much the cone itself cost.

The only downside to this Cannon Beach staple is his Hawaiian time hours so he is closed a lot when we try to go here for ice cream. He has a great assortment of wonderful ice cream and the pricing is very reasonable. One of these days I will try a smoothie or a sundae but usually I just grab a cone.

If you know me at all, you'll know that sometimes I am a five year old trapped in the body of a twenty-something year old. This really comes to light when I am ordering Ice Cream. I love visiting small independent ice cream shops because if I'm lucky, I can find blue bubblegum flavor - with no chunks of bubblegum to get in my way. I turned down ice cream at the Tillamook farm in the hopes I would find what I was looking for in Cannon Beach, and luckily Osburn's had it! I walked in and waded through customers to look at the flavors. Like a bright shining blue pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, there it was! I hope they never get rid of this flavor so that I can always count on it when I visit Cannon Beach. Apart from the delicious ice cream, the shop itself is a little confusing. There's no area that seems to be designated for the start of a line, so people just seemed to mill about, not sure of who should get taken care of first. The service was also kind of slow, which probably wouldn't be a big deal if a few people were there, but when they are 10 people standing around and no one knows where to go, it can get frustrating. To add to the confusion, there were two different registers that were being used on opposite sides of the shop. Despite that, I'll still come back. I didn't try any coffee but it smelled absolutely amazing while I was waiting to get helped.

Simone was THE BEST!! Came in for a birthday treat and she hooked me up. Great service and though my order was intense, she embraced it! Delicious chocolate ice cream and waffle cone. Definitely recommend.

Cant believe people gave two or one star because they were cash only. I mean they poated signs everywhere so shame on you. Now they take credit cards for 5 dollar or more purchases. I give 4 stars becuase they have unique flavors of ice cream and creative drinks both hot and cold. I also crave Hawaiian coffee. They seem to have all my specialty cravings. I would be amiss to not mention like many other Cannon Beach places they dont have or dont believe in staffing during the winter.

Awesome shop with ice cream cones, shakes, malts, coffee drinks, espresso, and smoothies. Hawaiian themed, small, and limited window seating at a little bar but since it is on the main drag there are plenty of places to take your treat on the go. 50cent charge for credit purchases under $5 but that wasn't a problem since one 20oz shake was $6.95. My daughter and I split one shake and it was a perfect little treat after the beach.

First time trying this place off of a recommendation from a friend. Really yummy ice cream and great customer service. I ordered the chocolate peanut butter which had chucks of peanut butter in it which was sooo good!

We were pretty disappointed with the ice cream here. When I saw "creamery" I thought that it was homemade, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't. There were a ton of smoothie selections on the wall - I think that might have been a better choice.

It was 80 degrees in Cannon Beach today. A rarity for sure, but it happens. We decided to enjoy some ice cream and got into the long line out on the sidewalk for Osborns. As we got into the doorway, ever closer to enjoying creamy desserts, a large, older black labrador type dog lumbered in from outside, walked directly through the opening to the service counter and stood behind the counter looking around. The 3 staffers all visually aknowledged the dog, and continued scooping cones or washing dishes whilst having to step around the large dog while it stood in the way. No effort was made to move it, and it certainly looked like it was a regular visitor or even a permanent regular. After a few moments the dog walked over to the edge of the servers work area and layed down. About the same time the line for us moved us to the front and it was time to order. My wife ordered a cone but I decided that I didn't want any dog hair in my cone so i didn't order anything. I didn't think it was ok to have animals in food preparation areas. I assume where the ice cream is stored and scooped and plated (or coned) is a food preparation area. I won't be back until they all get retrained with food handler sanitation procedures and stop letting the dog in the store. I have come here for years, but now i will have to get my summer treats elsewhere.

Saw that these guys were losing stars due to being cash only... Well... They've updated! They take cards now on purchases above $5 (that seems to be a rule in Cannon Beach). The decor is beach themed and they have covered seating on benches just around the corner. It's perfect if you like licking things while people watching. I ordered a Peanut Caramel shake. It was smooth, creamy, not too sweet, and perfect. I believe they have a dog who hangs out with their guests named Ozzy. He's the best!

Hubby and I wanted ice cream and wandered in (happens a lot when I'm on vacation). Amazing. Delicious ice cream. Yummy cones. And a totally chill atmosphere. I even made hubs sit down to enjoy our cones instead of getting back out to check out more shops with our ice cream in hand. The music was nice. Kind of funky regge. Just an awesome kick ass ice cream shop. The kind of place I'd like to go to a lot. Or maybe even work at.

We love this place but lately it has been a bummer. Last time we got there right at closing and they closed the door in our face with a sarcastic "sorry". Today we also go there are closing time so I asked- when do you usually close? The reply was "we close when we meet our quota".. What???? Lame! We will be going to the Picnic Basket for ice cream for a while. : ( They should really have extended hours on Fourth of July weekend.

Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Cannon Beach, this place is my family's go-to stop for a cool treat before heading back toward Portland. I'm pretty sure their other ice cream flavors are just dandy, but I haven't had anything other than the coffee flavor. I'm a little embarrassed...I don't remember the name of it. Perhaps java-something? Maybe even mocha-something? I don't know. I've been there several times now and all I remember is that I need to get "the coffee one". I also get an Americano to go with it. The two compliment each other exceedingly well. It's actually pretty good coffee all on its own. The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is the fact that it's cash only and there's no obvious ATM close by. Well, you can walk a few minutes to get to one, but when I say close, I mean RIGHT there. A few times now, I've placed my order before remembering that they don't take cards. It's just frustrating...not the end of the world. And certainly not enough to keep me from coming back, because I'm pretty sure I'll hit up Osburn's every time I go to the beach.

I was craving ice cream after lunch and happened open this lovely place. The workers were very friendly, and the shop was cute and organized. I got a scoop of strawberry ice cream on a waffle cone, and I have to say that it was amazing. I typically don't order strawberry anything ever (not because I don't like strawberry but because I'm a chocolate girl), but it just looked so fresh and creamy in the display case! No regrets. No regrets whatsoever. That was literally the best strawberry ice cream I've ever had in my life. It tasted so fresh, and the scoop was extremely generous. I look forward to coming back when I'm next in Cannon Beach.

Mele Kalikimaka and Merry Christmas! If you want a little bit of Hawaii on the Oregon coast, then Osburn's is a great family owned coffee and ice cream shop. The Hawaiian theme is fun and my favorite part is the hula girl lamp by the register. There are only a couple of stools inside, but on a nice day most people sit on the front porch. This cash-only business serves Tillamook ice cream and makes very good coffee drinks. While you wait, chill out to world music and look at the funny knickknacks and cartoons on the wall. The Osburn's t-shirt features Haystack Rock covered in hot fudge with a cherry on top. A good ice cream and coffee shop is essential on the coast, and this is one of my favorite spots in Cannon Beach. Aloha! ***Business update - name correction submitted to Yelp***
