Ugh! This place was dirty! And the food was super greasy and they used guacamole "dip" instead of real guacamole. I wouldn't return here even if it was free.

Woot! San Diego style mex in Oregon! This kind of taco shop is ubiquitous in San Diego county, and almost unheard of outside. Burritos made simply with just meat, pico, and guacamole (not the starch logs you get in the Bay Area that are 60% rice and beans by volume) Rolled tacos a staple. Tortas, fish tacos, and all the usual suspects. Excellent salsa bar. Totally unpretentious and very affordable. Makes me feel like home! Why no fifth star? Well, dear reader, it's because this is gritty low budget late night dog food...just the way we love it.

Love their food and their hours. Some of the best Mexican food in Bend. I love their crispy tacos and enchiladas. Oh, and a horchata to drink. YUM!

I'm from San Diego California and when I tried their Cali burrito I was kinda weirded out by the móle they put in it. It was an ok burrito. All I'm trying to say is that maybe you should drop the móle and add sour cream and guac with pico de gallo it would make the burrito so much better. Also the salsa isn't the best.. I wouldn't get that burrito again

Not bad for what it is...... The food is pretty decent and fast. The salsa was also very good and friendly service.

I had the breakfast burrito with extra bacon and light cheese. I was hoping for less cheese and potato in it. Basically scrambled eggs with clumps of cheese in a tortilla. Grease dropped on my pants so it was one of those days. Maybe the same for them.

Rigoberto's is a great value. I've had quite a few of their burritos and a few of the Tortas. Along with their platter combo versions. I have found some really good items on their menu and some not so good ones. The Good? - the Pollo Azado burrito, the Pollo Adobada burrito, the Carne Asada Torta. The Not-so-Good? - The Al Pastor Torta. Their Al Pastor has been consistently overcooked, tough and crispy. Not worth the money. Their burritos have all been outstanding, flavorful and delicious. I often get their red salsa and sometimes don't use it because the base flavors are so good. Fresh ingredients and they use rich thigh meat instead of from the breast. The Azado can be greasy but it's good nonetheless. My absolute fave is the Pollo Adobada burrito. Fantastic.

This is really authentic Mexican food. Chile relleno burrito was delicious and my taquitos were crunchy and very flavorful. Don't go for the atmosphere but if you are a foodie you should be satisfied. Lots of interesting & good salsas. Enjoy!

Best carnitas burritos in town and try the brown roasted pepper salsa at the salsa bar dank

Two words people: oregon burrito! This was the hardest thing to let go once i stopped eating meat! I'll still eat a bean rice and cheese, but man, i crave those oregon burritos! I gave you guys 4 stars because the hour change sucks, where do you get a delicious huge burrito at 2 in the morning! Riggabertos is a bend classic.

This place is legit. I could leave that as my entire review, but I'm afraid it would not suffice. Let's preface this by saying I am not a big fan of Mexican food. I have given it many, many chances. So I wasn't expecting to be wowed. But boy was I surprised. I had the fish tacos and they were delightful. They were also huge! Even the rice was good. So I may have to change my mind about Mexican food...or maybe just make an exception for this place.

Only giving this two stars because of how often they are closed now. If your sign says 24 hours you should probably stick to it or change the sign. Early morning food in Bend is almost non-existent, now it's even harder to find. Fix the sign or the hours and get 4 stars. P.S. The last Chile Relleno burrito I had was so amazing that I'm really bummed I can't get one in the early morning.

TERRIBLE!!!! Very greasy - so greasy that it actually drips. Staff not very nice. Lots of Mexican places in Bend - this isn't the one to go to!

Fantastic, quality Mexican food! Some of the most affordable and authentic we've yet found in Bend. Overall, we're very impressed, and will be making this our favorite stop for Mexican food!

Quick service, good food, and great area. Only thing to watch out for is the hot plates! This place is a nice sit down restaurant.. It's not at all a fast food place. (plus)

This is the worst place. I'd compare it to 7-eleven. Tacos are hard shell, meat, lettuce and cheese..for $2.50. So gross! And when we asked them in the drive thru if they were authentic 'street style' tacos, they said yes. ha! The kids meal is a rip off..way over priced and the tiniest portion. I have never seen such high prices for Mexican food that isn't even authentic. Bland flavor in the tacos, burrito, and taquitos..which they also gave us NO sauce. Never again!

Okay, not great food. They have a good salsa bar. I had the rolled tacos, they were overcooked. Might of done better getting a meal.

Carne asada burrito had no veggies at all, which I think would have been more interesting since I prefer texture, but the meat was indeed flavorful.

Tastie food and quick service. Fast but not fast good. Ingredient seemed fresh and nice salsa bar. Good value.

Ordered food from here and I got ripped off. My receipt said a lower amount, but my bank statement said larger amount. They are low life thieves. And something about the food makes me piss out my ass.

Oh my god, these are the best tacos I've ever eaten! The ingredients are good and the taco shells are fresh out of the grease! Don't eat it over your clothes without taking precautions (they give you so many napkins, and for good reason). I go back here for tacos as often as my budget allows. TACOS!

As someone who works a rotating shift schedule, this place [was] a staple of mine while working night shifts. They have since changed their hours to close at midnight during the week and at 3 am on the weekends. Uber lame! The food is good and I enjoy their wide variety of salsas. I normally get the California burrito or their potato, bacon, egg, & cheese breakfast burrito. My kids love their rolled tacos as well. Sometimes their cleanliness is questionable. I've watched the guy working the drive-thru handle money, give back change, pick his pen up off the floor, walk right passed the sink and hand soap and start rolling tortillas for an order. I've also seen them score nearly perfect one month on their inspection (listed on the Deschutes County website) as well as fail miserably the next month. Just keep that in mind. All in all, you should definitely try them during the day where I think staff and food alike are a little more fresh than the graveyard :)

It's typical " Muchas Gracias" if your from WA. It's cheap, open 24 hours and the Red salsa is pretty good. I just got a Bean and cheese burrito. I'm gonna complain about the fact that the menu in the drive-thru says $3 for a Bean and cheese burrito. I ordered my kid and I one last tonight and got my $6 out. The guy at the drive thru wanted $7.22 there's no tax here? I said something and he just repeated the price. All I can think is someone's pocketing some cash. So whatever probably won't go back. * talked to someone else and they charge if you ask for " cheese" in your Bean Burrito... Really? Okay...

The tacos are really good and really big. Price wise they are perfect. I have been here several times and every time I order something different. Everything seems good as far as flavor, price and portions. The employees are friendly and very helpful directing you to the best stuff on their menu!

Best authentic Mexican food in town with good portion sizes and prices! I compare all other carnitas to theirs and it is hard to find anything that comes close. They have tasty Verde and red salsa. Drive through was pretty fast with pleasant employees. Will definitely continue to patronize this place and take visitors who care more about the food than the ambiance.

This is my favorite cheap Mexican food in town. Their carne asada is always cooked and seasoned perfectly. This place is the closest to SoCal Mexican food I've found in Bend.

As usual, never trust the drive thru. I ordered fish tacos and found after getting home they had packaged me steak quesadilla. Not worth the twenty minute drive back so I just threw it away.

Came here after a night on the Bend Ale Trail, and in need of fast delicious Mexican food. At first, the taco prices surprised me as hefty, but the portions are appropriate to what you pay for. Endless chips and salsa were a plus, and their salsa verde was scorching hot. The meats in the tacos tasted fresh and flavorful; definitely worth the price.

Yum! Its no San Diego like previously stated but it is a close second! Always find a mexican food joint that has mexicans eating at it and u always find a gem! Missed those words......"carne asada" and "california burrito"!

This place has gone DOWNHILL!!! The last time we went my husband and I declared, "Never again!" It was horrible--burnt carne asada, everything tasted old and we both had tummy trouble afterward. I need to find a new good, cheap place for speedy Mexican food in Bend because we will not go back there again.

This place is a great value. The mexican food is very authentic. They are open 24 hours a day. They have a nice condiments bar. The service is amazingly fast and the food taste great. It is a locals fixture and if you are hungry for some good Mexican cuisine without the fringes, this is the place. Salute.

Hubby and I have stopped in here for breakfast the last 2 days. The first day we both got the super nacho hubby was all carne asada, mine was carne asada and adobada ( we ordered extra meat on them) hubby also got 5 rolled taco's. Everything was pretty good, the service was pretty good we got our food fast. On the second day hubby ordered and oregon burrito and 5 rolled taco's, I was trying to decide what I wanted then when I figured it out I asked for the adobada burrito. This is where the lowering of stars come into play. The man behind the counter pointed to the breakfast burrito which was El Dorado or something like that it had hame, eggs, and I think potatoes. I said " No, Adobada burrito" the man still didnt get it until my husband piped in too, so that was fixed got the burrito I wanted the man was quick we got our food and left. When we got to our motel and I started grubbing down on my burrito, I noticed that the meat lacked alot of flavor that I am used to from the adobada meat so I just wasn't happy about that part, I ate 2 of my husband's rolled taco's those were pretty good with guacamole and cheese, mmmm yummy. As for my super nacho on the first day and the burrito on the second day, I think the flavor of the carne asada meat and all the other goodies masked the none flavor of the adobada meat to where I didnt notice it until I had the burrito. So I am giving 3 stars for the lacking adobada flavor, but wverything else was delicious and I will be back I just won't order adobada again.

Finally! The location is accurate here on Yelp! I reviewed them long ago when they had two locations but for some reason only the one on Galveston appeared here (certainly made checking in tricky). Anyway .. we've moved away from Bend since then but like the poster before me .. we always insist on eating here when we come to visit (sometimes twice). We've even made the 5+ hour drive w/o stopping & thereby eating late solely so we can eat at Rigo's. The service is top-notch. The food is superior to any taqueria I've ever tried and I've eaten at a lot having lived in Mexico for a summer. Our favorites: Super Nachos con Carne Asada, Carne Asada tacos & Adobada tacos, and a Horchata to drink. :)

Carne Asada Burrito. This is my favourite little mexican joint in Oregon. It rates up there with Roberto's in San Diego. I cannot get enough of this place. Ever since I have had the experience of eating here, I have wondered how I live so far away without. This is the first place I demand eating at when I arrive. It isn't about the ambiance. It isn't about the service. It isn't about the location. It is about the food! It makes me a happy person when I walk in the door. I will be back throughout my lifetime, for sure.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
