Nice friendly staff but pizza is to be desired. I had a better experience with Cibelli's on the westside, the pizza was a bit better (maybe 3 stars).

When I'm in a hurry, they prioritize my pizza. When I'm not, I don't ask. Love to drop in here and pick up a pizza on the way home on occasion. Food is consistent. Crust is yummy. Don't forget to ask for "love" to go in your pizza box.

I like Cibelli's pizzas, however their lunch time slice service is seriously lacking. You walk in and there is nothing displayed... no pizzas ready to go, no menu to guide you as to what to order or how to do so. You have to walk up to the counter, grab their hand held menus then decide what you want. This creates at least a bit of a delay for you and the people behind you. The Slice service works like this... you can get any slice of pizza that you would find on their regular menu... although that sounds great, flexible and accommodating, the delivery of the product gives up the ghost and reveals some depressing flaws. It's obvious that they have basic cheese slices precooked and ready to go for the lunch rush, add ingredients to order then reheat the slice before presenting to the customer. This ends up having ingredients falling off the slice as you try to eat the thing and it's just sloppy quality... I'm sure it's efficient for getting orders out quick, but for people like me who like to pick up their slice and eat it without knife and fork it doesn't jive. Come on, Cibelli's. You can do better. Get a display case and make some full pies to have out when customers walk in to pique interest and speed up ordering. You can still reheat these slices quickly.

This place has really down the past couple of years. I use to find them as a great place to get a slice. But not any more.

Always good pizza for cheap. Very New York style. Super large chewy, crusty yumminess.

Ordered a combo and asked for half of it to have no meat. The guy tried to charge me for the vegetables on the non-meat side. I tried explaining it to him that It is a combo, just half doesn't have meat, I wasn't substituting the vegetable with something different than what was already on the combo. He could not comprehend what I was saying. Luckily one of his coworkers stepped in and fixed the problem. Nice staff, but the pizza tasted like Costco's. Won't be back.

Great NY style pizza! I love being able to get a good slice and they are usually pretty quick. Their crust can sometimes be undercooked depending on how busy they are or who's cooking. With a deck oven it takes some skill to get it perfect, but waaaaay better than a conveyor belt oven. I really wish they delivered, on a hung over Sunday I would much rather get a pie from Cibellis than the other delivery choices in bend.

Whoever made our pizza last night must have been on crack or something. We ordered a 1/2 plain, 1/2 white w/ spinach. What we got was an 18" cardboard circle with some ingredients resembling pizza on top. Pizza sauce? I think that's what the red stuff may have been. Spinach scattered on top of the "cheese" before baking? Really? I love thin pizza, but this thing was ridiculous. I'm surprised the Eastside location is still in business if this is what they are serving. Someone needs to step in and have an intervention.Or pizza making demo. Whoever is overseeing this place should be ashamed. Oh, and you forgot the sauce for the cheese sticks, too. Ugh, never again. Cibelli's used to be good. Not anymore.

This place is a joke. Do not go! We ordered and told us it would be ready in 35 minutes which sounded fine. We sat down and they called my name in about 45 minutes. I walked up to the counter and the guy turned his back to me and walked off. I waited a couple of minutes and he walked past me with 2 pizzas and handed them to another person. The girl at the counter asked me in a really crappy way if I needed something. I told her that my name had been called. She asked my name looked around for my pizza. She told me, well we must have given it to someone else. She asked me if they should remake it. Really??? No, I'll just pay for it and leave without getting it. No apologies, just you can wait if you want. We waited another 30 minutes and I saw two pizzas come out. She actually tried to hand it to another person again. The pizza did taste like one from Costco and the staff was absolutely horrible. Zero customer service and poor quality food! Do not go!!! Waste of money and time. Crap! This is a very poorly run business. I will let everyone I know not to waste time going.

Called in an order just the other night after seeing a movie down at the Old Mill. Said it would be ready in about 20 minutes. Perfect. Drove to the location and had to wait 30 minutes after arriving. Not a big deal, but sitting there gave me an opportunity to observe a few things more carefully: Atmosphere: Definitely lacking. A few pictures on the walls that from a distance (I was sitting at the counter, just looking around the room) appeared to be of old New York and what was probably some "Mafia Family running the business". You get the idea. But it's "half-assed" at best. Moreover, the general "feel" of the place is just ho-hum. Vary stark. The kitchen is right there so it's loud and there's no cute tables with red & white tablecloths, etc. For dining in the restaurant, it could really use some help in the ambiance department. In fact, as I was sitting there taking in everything, I noticed the wines they offer sitting in bottles on the counter. Maybe 5 or 6. The first thought thru my mind was, "Who would want to buy a bottle of wine and actually hang out here?" I guess maybe while your pie was being made and it was going to be for takeout. But it is NOT a place I would choose to take my family or a date to spend any quality time. Service: Although the employees are quick to greet you, there no preselected pies suggested for you. The pressure is on the moment you step to the counter on what you are going to order. The menu over the counter focuses mainly on the size of pies available, toppings and then other offerings such as salads, etc. In other words, you don't walk in and order a "Cibellis Combo" or other suggested selection. Truth be told, if I hadn't heard of my favorite pizza (the white pie described in a previous review) from my son, I doubt anyone would know that type of pizza is offered without asking. In my opinion, the menu and staff could be more helpful in the proactive sense. Then there is the appearance of the staff in general and this, I realized, wasn't a one time observation. Because I have picked up on this every time we've been in to pick up our pizza after a phone in order. The staff is rather "shabby" looking. Plain and simple, the "kids" wear t-shirts that appear to be either very raggedy or.....dirty. I realize it's a pizza place and working with flour and sauces, shirts are going to get soiled. But, and here is the deal, with the open kitchen environment viewable to all patrons, either they need to impose stricter uniform and cleanliness guidelines for grooming and appearance OR they need to close off the kitchen. Because, frankly, it's rather tacky. Dirty "uniforms" and t-shirts are NOT to be confused with an uncleanly kitchen. On the contrary, it appears as if the kitchen itself is kept very clean for the conditions and the staff is very conscientious about washing their hands, etc. Case in point on the open kitchen, uniforms, etc. Observe a Jamba Juice.....essentially the same type of setup working with "messy" ingredients. And yet, at Jamba Juice the look and feel is completely different with my preference for cleanliness and atmosphere going toward Jamba even with the incessant whirling of blenders. Here is "green plus" for Cibellis: I noticed they cut down on the use of paper when taking orders by utilizing laminated cards that can be wiped off and reused. I actually thought this was very clever. Much better than wasting hundreds of sheets of paper every day. Granted, maybe it's just cheaper, but it's definitely "greener" too. Sitting there for 30 minutes, I also took in the ubiquitous tip jar we see so often these days. Personally, I find it difficult to tip when there is no table service. And barring anything unusual that required extra service and warranted a tip......I fail to see the need or compulsion to give a tip for ordering a pizza and then taking it home to eat. It's a job. Their job is to make a pizza, box it up and hand it over. Where is the "extra" service in that? I find it very uncomfortable when the person standing in line ahead of me leaves a tip in the jar and the cashier then rings a bell and everyone back in the kitchen shouts "Thank you". Being next in line, do I tip? I decide not to and what I then perceive is a very lackluster attitude for any further dealings with me. I observe this over and over as each successive patron decides to tip....ding, ding.....with a "Thank you" hailed from the back. Or not tip, and barely a mumble of "here's your pie" as it's placed on the counter. I found this very disturbing and so, upon getting my pie, I still put a buck in the jar because I didn't want to be considered a jerk. Is that reason alone to tip? Because I'm afraid of what the staff might think? It shouldn't be. But that is not the fault of Cibellis as much as where we've come as a society and what we deem acceptable.
