The BEST! We love this place - not only for their fabulous coffee but for their friendly staff. They go above and beyond to make kids and dogs feel special, too. They are amazing at remembering what we order and getting our drinks right every time. Sometimes we arrive at the window and they've already got our drinks ready for us! We love the punch card system and the monthly drink specials. And their espresso is SO much better tasting than Starbucks. I've converted several family members and friends - once you start drinking coffee at the Human Bean, everything at Starbucks starts to taste really bitter. Try it! You'll love it!

The girls are always so nice and friendly. Customer service is as good as it gets, the drinks are reasonably priced - cheap compared to other places, tasty, AND you get a bean. You can get a punch card where after 10 purchases the next drink is free, I love double punch Wednesdays!

I like the service, I like the drive through, it's my kind of coffee. I am very particular with my coffee and the Human Bean has nailed it perfectly. The ladies that work there, as I have only seen women work there, are always smiling and have a little bit to talk about. I bring my little dog there and they are always sweet to her and give her a nice treat. It's always my first choice coffee place, even if I'm 30 minutes away.

I love the energy and positive attitude of the baristas! The prices and coffee are great! Many flavors to chose from and they will taylor your drink upon request. I'd rather go to the Human Bean than Stupidbucks with overpriced drinks and snobby attitudes (not to mention horrible business practices) - but I'm not here to talk bad about other businesses :). I'm here to tell you that the Human Bean is one of my favorite places to get my coffee to go. It is actually part of our tradition to stop here whenever we leave for vacation - my husband automatically pulls over there without asking :). Keep up the great job!

Way better than Starbucks!!! You get a chocolate covered bean and they aren't stingy with the whip cream like Starbucks. Not only that but you don't have to be a dumb gold member to get a free drink after buying 11 or whatever. You can get a punch card any time!! I highly recommend going to this drive though.

I first found the human bean while I lived in Colorado, my favorite one was in Fort Collins. It's a drive thru coffee stand, windows on both sides. I recently moved out to Portland, Oregon and found one in Beaverton. I was pretty excited, they have some awesome coffee and I like the fact they have a punch card system, buy 10 get the 11th free. The staff is always friendly and will always answer questions and offer suggestions. One of my favorite drinks is the snowy mocha iced, it's a white chocolate drink with espresso, I always add hazelnut to it always comes with whip cream and they top each drink a chocolate covered espresso bean. I always ask for a few extra and they always give me a few. They pretty much offer just about anything you can think off. Awesome selection off flavors and in the mornings they usually have a selection of pastries and fruit. Stop buy and check them out, they are super nice and always like to support local small businesses.

The ladies at this shack are great. My dog Rawley loves them, and they love him back with treats. Good affordable coffee every time. You can't tip with your card so bring cash for tips.

I'm updating to say that this time I visited the location and the staff was so amazing!! I had three drinks that were obnoxiously modified (one decaf, one kid mock coffee drink and one hot to blended drink) it took them a few questions to clarify what we wanted and I'm sure we sounded so annoying but they were so nice and tolerated us with flare! To be honest I never tip at a coffee shop but today I did, they deserved it and I am so happy at the new experience!

I love this coffee hut!!! Conveniently on the way to most of my destinations. Friendly and personable staff. Coffee is always worth the stop. I always pull up with my golden retriever and they spoil him good! I have never had a bad day here.

I love going to the Human Bean before work to grab a quick coffee or hot chocolate! The staff is always personable, quick and very friendly. Their prices are cheaper than Starbucks and I like supporting smaller businesses! I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a coffee alternative!

Decent coffee about the same as any other human bean. Love the fact that they have alternative milks other than just soy. Terrible customer service the Baristas were incredibly Snobby without having good reason.

I come here several times a week and the service is always excellent. The baristas here are very kind and make my mocha granita just the way I like it. Keep coming here and you'll be sure to meet some lovely ladies who will happily remember your order and give you service with a smile. I absolutely love the punch cards and double punch Wednesdays, too.

I have passed by here several times, but never checked it out. There aren't many coffee places nearby here. I was presently surprised. I got a Dutch Brothers vibe. The baristas were friendly and fast. I had a white chocolate mocha... Yummy! The added touch of the chocolate covered coffee bean, was awesome as well. I will most definitely be returning!

Great coffee- both cold drinks and hot drinks! And the girls that work there were able to turn my horrible-horrible-worst-work-day ever to a life's-not-so-bad day. (Ended up quitting that job, btw.) With a sweetly drawn heart, and a "this one's on the house," how could I not go back! (Not that I ever expect to get free coffee again. Haha) But the Human Bean has a great staff and great beverages to start or end your day. :)

not the best coffee for I think they use a very light roast and I prefer much more body to my coffee.....that being said... the people who work here always look as if they love their jobs, they are friendly, smiling and will help you out with your drink order. I find my self coming here often even though it is not my fav... the people are infectiously in a good mood. I love the iced coffee and prefer that to their hot coffee.... again that is just a personal preference.

I was out in B-town, nursing an awesome hangover and in need of something cold, slushy, caffeinated, and sweet. And cheap. And fast. Enter Human Bean, one espresso granita (topped with a chocolate-covered espresso bean) for under $3 bucks later, and I was back on BH Highway a much, much happier lady. And they take plastic!

I love coming to this coffee place. The girl, i believe her name is Kim, is wonderful! The other girls are great as well. I only go maybe 2 times a month and Kim always remembers what i get- which i think is pretty impressive considering im sure they see many people a day. Great place to get coffee and the price isnt bad compared to Starbucks (which rapes you for your money!).

Had to find another Human Bean while on the road and this one was as close to Portland as I could find. The coffee is that delicious! The employee was so friendly and leaned and listened and thanked you for coming. The little white chocolate coffee bean they put on the drink lid is a memorable gimmick that makes you feel individualized and the bean is tasty too. Love this coffee!

I love The Human Bean. No matter how many other coffee joints I try, none of them compare to this one. In my humble, non-expert opinion, they have the best tasting coffee - over Peet's, Starbucks and Dutch Bros. Mind you, I am not above going to those other places in a pinch simply because The Human Bean isn't always convenient to get to. I stop at this one from time to time on my way into work and the ladies are always friendly and just the right amount of chatty. The chocolate covered coffee bean I get with my drink is just a bonus.

I love The Human Bean. Mostly because you get a free chocolate-covered bean with every coffee. The employees at this location are very friendly, although the last two times they didn't look at my punch card close enough to see that I was due for a free coffee.

The customer service is always good. The girls here are always friendly and truly seem as though they're happy to see you. The coffee is good too, but the service is probably what brings me back more. I usually stop by in the morning and the friendliness of the girls really help get your day started off well. I don't know their names, but I love their smiles and great attitude!

Coffee here is great, but the temperature on their hot drinks is highly variable. I've had hot drinks that were scald-your-face-off and hot drinks that were just barely warm enough. Still, if you stick to their cold drinks, you won't be disappointed. Good quality!
