I've ordered takeout from here for about a year and I love them! They make my favorite pad thai, which is always very well prepared. The noodles are done right, along with the vegetables. One thing that makes them stand out is their appetizers which are fun and always well prepared.

Pad Thai and pineapple fried rice were amazing! Yellow curry was good, but different than I've had almost anywhere else, don't know that I'd order this again. The waitress was very cold, maybe she was having an off day. All in all a good experience.

This place is in our normal rotation for good reason; the food is simple, consistent, fresh, and well cooked. Tends to be on the spicy side but they do ask your preference, 1 to 5 - err of the side of caution if unsure. It's nice to have shrimp in the Pad Ga Pao, they are so perfectly tender and go great with the dish. The staff is small but friendly and always clean. Don't skip the Golden Triangles or the cucumber salad (I'm addicted to the latter). When we are there, there is almost always a constant stream of takeout traffic coming and going.

Arriving just after they opened we were the second set of customers. Within 30 minute it was quite busy. We were greeted right away and asked where we would like to sit. I was not familiar with some of the dishes and our server took the time to explain and even brought the dinner menu with better descriptions of the dishes. She explained how the dishes can very depending on the region of the country and how her mom makes it. I like that because it gave our experience a little personal touch. The food seemed it took a bit to arrive but maybe we were just too hungry. I ordered a combination soup with glass noodles. It came with 3 large fried wantons ( I think that is what they were ) They were very large, and still warm. Yum ! Oh, the soup. It was great too. My daughter had the Pumpkin Curry with steamed rice. It was good but I definitely liked my soup better. We also ordered the Larb Salad. Also very good. The warm meat with the cold cabbage was a nice mix. There are many choices here for lunch alone and I am sure we will be back.

Food was good. Pad Thai was great, crispy spring rolls were over cooked and fried rice was almost all onions.

There are a lot of choices for Thai in Beaverton. You could throw darts at a map and probably land near one. This is not our usual place but we felt adventurous...we are lame like that sometimes. We came here for dinner on a Saturday night. About 5:30. We were not in a great mood. Four of us. It was virtually empty. A server ( serverA) finally appeared and seated us, took drink orders....then no one showed up until 6:03. A different server ( ServerB) and I think she was just coming onto her shift. She brought us water and then found out we had ordered drinks and went to get them pretty quickly. My glum daughter ordered soup and chicken satay ( small soup) and the teeny Asian lady ( Server A) brought it first with plates for everyone and put it out in the middle and I said " that's her dinner" ( which I had explained when I ordered it for her) and she said " oh big eater huh!"and laughed at my daughter a little. I'm sure she was trying to be friendly...right? My 11 year old adolescent child didn't like that. She is petite and perfectly fine and that made her mad and self conscious and she basically refused to eat. She picked at her chicken ( ate one stick)and we packed up the rest to go home. Before we were done she said she felt sick and had to go outside. She was pretty upset. My fragile flower:( The food ordered was fine. You can see my pics. It was ordered medium and was pretty spicy. Thai iced tea and mango juice was deemed ok. My unsweetened tea was cloying - maybe powdered? Dinner for four was about $50 plus tip. We still tipped 20%.We all had leftovers for another meal. I like this place ok. But I'm never gonna get my daughter back in here. I guess my advice to servers would be not to comment on how someone orders? Especially teenaged girls.with sullen facial expressions!

Well this was a bit disappointing. The pai thai had too much garlic, the red curry was not good at all, and the wonton soup was actually ok. The curry was very thick and tasted like they added way too much fish sauce.

Great food, both the classics and innovative choices. The coconut shrimp are amazing, as is the fried rice. Super nice people, very authentic food with great service. It is in a strip mall, but don't be put off by the front of the building!

I had tried this restaurant a couple of years ago and was so displeased it took me a long time to try it again. I don't care for the ground chicken they use in most of their dishes, but all you have to do is remember to ask for sliced chicken instead of ground. I ordered drunken noodles with sliced chicken and Thai fried rice with shrimp. I also ordered the pork strip appetizer. All the dishes were good. I liked that you ordered on line and could add notes and pick out your heat level. It was fresh, hot, and was ready when I got there. ****if the restaurant reads their reviews I hope they take note that the onions and other veggies could be chopped quite a bit smaller and cooked a little more.

Thailand restaurant, you did it! They upgraded and improved, significantly. I came back after a long time since I figure I'll give it another shot. They remodeled just about everything, and it looks so so much better. I'm not sure if it's new owners but they have new waitresses and they are attentive and fast. I'm pretty sure this is one of my favorite thai joints in the beaverton area, especially at lunch time! Delicious and the pad thai is thee best. Whatever you get here, it'll be great. My favorites are pad thai and pad see ew, but everything else I've tried has always been great. Peep it for lunch since lunch specials are a great deal. Thanks for updating and making this a better restaurant altogether, it makes me happy to see places with potential strive to their best.

There are so many Thai options in this part of town. You could easily try a new one every night. In an ocean of pad see ew, Thailand maintains a standard that keeps me coming back. I'm comfortable here. I've never had a bad experience. I've just never been completely blown away by them either. The only thing I would warn anyone about is the lettuce wraps. I got a plate of what was basically chicken stir fried with peanuts and rice and a small to medium chunk of iceberg on the side. The lettuce wasn't anywhere near wrapable. Maybe I just haven't experienced enough lettuce wraps because I've never had rice in the filling before. I'm sticking to the noodle dishes.

Ordered online using Eat 24, and couldn't be happier with my experience! I got two orders of Pad Thai, one with lots of special requests, and an order of fried rice that was almost completely a unique special order. Everything was ready when we got there, and was 100% what I had asked for. The service was as friendly as could be, and the food was delicious (with large portions!). I'll definitely be back!

We've never eaten here, just gotten take out. Some of the best Thai food in the area. Pumpkin Curry is perfection. It can be a bit spicy, even when you ask for mild, but it's worth it. Pineapple fried rice is the best. The tails are left on the shrimp though, which makes it a bit harder to eat. Tom Kha soup is pretty good. It has a lot of mushrooms, though. Don't get the Tom Kha and the Pumpkin Curry together-- the taste of the pumpkin curry will overpower the soup, making it seem very bland.

I live across the street from here so I've been numerous times. However, it never seems to be satisfying. The curries are so bland, noodles come out over done, appetizers come out cold. I love Thai food but this place just doesn't cut it.

I've been here a few times, I'm not sure if I'm ever satisfied with this place. There is always something wrong, but then some times things are just fine. *Last time I went there the rice was hard, which I'm sure they just use the last of the rice in the rice cooker and they think the rice will just get softer after its cooked. *My wife got a cup with lip stick stains on it. *foods too salty *I got 3 scoops of ice cream for a price that I could just get at the store as a whole! *two weeks ago the table next to me were two younger teens that were underage I'm sure of (because they were talking about how their friends come here -high school/college friends and get drinks when they're still underage) and the server served them an alcoholic beverage without checking their ID, right when she walked away I heard them whisper "this place never checks ID" I can't wait for the day till secret customers comes in.. Hopefully the servers know all the rules if they have their OLCC. *the price always goes up and their foods Good things: *Thai tea ! *servers *curry *fried rice

Food was extremely bland. Not a lot of flavor. I was pretty disappointed. We had 3 different dishes and all 3 were very bland in terms of flavor. Won't be back. The best part was the Thai iced tea. Staff hardly checked on us and when she checked about dessert it seemed like she didn't really care if we stayed or left. Used to love this place.

This is a well ran place. Always friendly service and consistent quality if food. I have to have my Thai fix at least once every other week (often more) and they are my goto. They serve their Pad Thai with chicken AND shrimp (as it should be) as is well prepared with great flavor. All the dishes are great. They renovated about a year ago and I think altered ownership...both have served them well. It is beautiful and clean inside now with lovely decor. I am thankful to have such a great option for Thai close by. Gotta love the Pacific NW and the west side of PDX. Keep up the great work.

Food is still good. Managed to make it out this time with all of my food, although the server only noticed as I was about to walk out that one of my items wasn't in my bag. Still, I had all the food when I left, so thats a good thing. Big problem this time is with their new online ordering system, Eat24. While the accuracy of ordering has improved, the time to prepare, sadly, has gone down. The website says 10-30 minutes on orders placed online until the food is ready. I have never had their food take less than 45 minutes when going through Eat24. When speaking to the server today, I asked her when they got the order from the website, and she noted that the restaurant got the order 18 minutes after I placed it on the website. THEN we had 35 minutes to prep the food. So I showed up at 35 minutes, and still had to wait 20 minutes before my food was done. During the time I was waiting, I noted people who were seated in the restaurant as I arrived, ordered, and received food before mine (which had been ordered 45 minutes prior) was complete. Just be aware when you're ordering online, it may take a lot longer than you expect.

While the food was average for the local Thai fare, the service was deplorable. We were one of two occupied tables on a Monday evening so it was not a busy night. Our dishes came out so staggered that we figured they had completely forgotten about one of the plates we ordered (we would have asked someone about it but we weren't able to summon anyone from the back without a bullhorn) and were expecting the check to arrive when the fish finally came. When the check finally did arrive, they wouldn't honor the restaurant.com gift certificate (no apologies, just a dismissal) and added the gratuity into the bill for a party of six with three kids under 10. I wasn't looking for fast food but have had better service at many a drive thru...

Had soup, curry and pad thai at this place. Must say everything was at par with my expectations. Service was quick and good and the price for food is also moderate. On my checklist for thai food places.

I was there for a weekday lunch. i'm a (all right, 'self-perceived') 'low talker' (no, not as much so as the 'puffy shirt figure') and the place was perfect for that with only a few more tables occupied. They don't offer lunch specials, etc. so maybe general lunch-time crowd doesn't come in here. We ordered 'drunken noodles'(?) and fried rice and had them 'hot'. They were hot and spicy and I loved them. I didn't take the pictures but the presentation was quite nice as well. It sounded like (from my friend) the place may have more extensive menu at dinner. I'd have to try it out. They brought out the check quite early during meal, but I guess they do that for everybody.

This thai place is better then most in beaverton. The price is just right. The food is always good. Friendly service. I always get their pad thai and pad see ew and it's never too sweet and saucy nor too plain and dry. There's thai places closer to where I live but I'm willing to make a further drive for their better food!

06/04 2014 at seven o clock pm. I had horrible service from a waitress she would not make my food a little spicy instead I had to get it mild and when I got my order it was very spicy like she did it intentionally. I ordered Thai fried rice and it was horrible the rice was undercooked and very generic. I also ordered some salad rolls that we're old and had tofu in them which the menu clearly stated the ingredients and tofu was not one. I have had thai food from Portland Oregon to Chicago Illinois and I know that the salad rolls were old, bottom line is the food was horrible the service was worse I will not return.

For ten months I've been searching for the best Thai Iced Tea around, and this place is it for me. It is liquid October in a glass. Delicious. I also love the food. Their Pad Se Ew is awesome, and everyone I've ever taken there has been very happy with what they ordered (pad thai both regular and crispy, drunken noodles, Tom Yum soup, papaya salad, and I don't remember what else). In my experience the service is also excellent--very considerate and friendly.

I tried this place because of an Amazon Deal that I had purchased. I was able to place my order on line which was great. The restaurant itself was tastefully decorated and comfortable. The host was very nice and spoke English very well. Sometimes it's hard going to an ethnic restaurant because you can't understand what they are saying or they are not understanding you. The yellow curry was the best I have had. It was spicy and a little sweet with a lot of chicken in t. The Drunken Noodles were also good, but not the best. They were a little gummy. That could have been from the 30 min it took me to get home with our food though. I did find that they tend to make their dishes on the sweet side. I am not a huge fan of sweet but it still tasted good. Their spring rolls were good and crunchy...although sweet enough where using the sauce to dip really wasn't an option for me. The crab ragoon was a little dry but had a good flavor. Again, the dryness could have been because of the 30 min delay in eating because of getting take out. I would not spend the $18 on the shrimp with the head on. There wasn't much meat and because the whole shrimp was in the container it kind of ruined the veggies that were under it. I was expecting a container of prawns but this was 4 large, full body shrimp. The taste was wonderful but the amount of actual meat was not worth the price. I will go here again.

Wow... what a disappointment. We were stuck in the area for a bit and found this spot to try; the space looks great! The decor is fantastic and they have little photo albums on the tables that show pictures of each dish; very well done. We were there on a Monday night and were the first table when we arrived. Immediately upon being seated they asked to take our order. We said we needed a few minutes... and then put our menus down and waited 10 minutes, finally going to get someone who was chatting in the back. The appetizers were inedible; tasted like poor quality frozen pieces. The crab puffs were "krab" and thick like crackers. We didn't eat those or the calamari which looked like cheap onion rings. They took away nearly full plates of food and didn't think anything of this. The entrees were reasonable; not fantastic, but certainly better than the horrid appetizers. When it was time for a bill we waited again, finally going back and asking for the bill. I told the gal that the appetizers were bad and she said, "everyone loves them" then offered me $1 off my next visit. Of which, there will not be one. Great space and well thought-out. Horrible service and not good food. Fail.

"Meh" is a good word. Was in town for work and craving some yellow curry, but was dissapointed by the quality and authenticity here. The dish lacked a powerful curry/coconut flavor and almost tasted like it was made with water. There were frozen peas and little square carrots thrown in (random!?) on top which provided no additional flavor. That and the uncooked bell peppers, which any other time would be fine, but they are intended to add flavor to the dish and be in the actual "stew". Service was great and attentive, it just wasn't what I was hoping for.

Nice quiet atmosphere, good service, and great food at very reasonable prices. For the price and speed of service this place can't be beat. The staff is always super friendly and the food is consistently good. I love the Pad Thai, Dracula's Nightmare, Pineapple Fried Rice, Drunken Noodle, and the whole assortment of currys.

While there are tons of Thai restaurants in the area, this is one of my favorites (the other one being Thai Princess). The food is consistently delicious. Chicken larb, Eggplant specials, currys, drunken noodles and tom yum are always a hit. And if you tell them very spicy, boyee they will make it VERY SPICY. The downsides: 1) The service can be quite slow as there's usually just one waitress and one bus boy/girl. So if you're in a rush, I would not recommend this place. However, since it is a family restaurant, I can overlook the slow service. Just be patient, enjoy the time spent with company and look forward to great Thai food. 2) Do not order the "BBQ beef." It's just slices of beef that's pan-fried.

My wife is a Thai chef, and when we visit my daughter's family in Beaverton and want Thai, this is where we go! The Thai Beef Noodle Soup is very traditional and very good! Ditto the curries! And the portions are generous and modestly priced. We've never had a bad meal here. Highly recommended if you like REAL Thai food!

Thailand Restaurant has set prominently across the street from the Walker Road Fred Meyer for quite a number of years. With it's large and sprawling sign, Thailand Restaurant is pretty hard to miss. In the past I had good experiences at the old Thailand Restaurant so I decided to give them another try. My first disappointment of the evening was when my server announced that their liquor license had expired and they couldn't serve us alcohol. To me a Thai meal without the delicious Thai beer Singha is sacrilege. There was an advertisement for Singha beer on our table. It was a sign depicting a sweating bottle of Singha. That sign would torture me all throughout our meal. Speaking of our meal, it was nothing special. We tried the chicken satay and Thailand Restaurant's version of Pad Thai. The chicken for the satay was nicely seasoned but the accompanying peanut sauce was weak. The Pad Thai was just OK. My Thai iced tea was so sweet that it was sickening. Our server for the evening was very brisk and abrupt. She acted like she wanted you to know what you wanted and not waste her time. Our waitress must have been over caffeinated or something because I have never seen anyone ask a question and then exit a table as fast as she could. My visit to Thailand Restaurant was a complete disappointment from the lack of Singha beer, the service, and the food. There are so many Thai restaurants out there. In order to remain competitive a Thai eating establishment needs to really distinguish itself. Unfortunately I found nothing distinguishing about Thailand Restaurant.

Veggie Drunken Noodles was well worth the trip in the rain to get. It was the perfect mix of veggies and noodles to complete a meal. Don't get the spring rolls - poorly made and not good at all.

For the last three years I've been eating here and I don't know why I haven't written a review about this place!!! Eeek! Thailand Restaurant was actually one of the first restaurants I ate at when I first moved into Hillsboro. This little mom and pop shop can be a little slow with service, but the food is down right delicious. My favorites: - CHICKEN and BEEF LARB (get it extra spicy) and you won't regret it! Love this dish to pieces! It's great for clearing up your sinuses if you're got a stuffy nose! And it's especially yummy with sticky rice. I get either one but I prefer the beef. The dish is cooked with onions, cilantro, some lime/lemon and shredded cabbage. I've tried other restaurants' version of larb, and this place has got to be the best I've had in town. - BEEF PAD SE EWE is big rice noodles cooked with cilantro and broccoli. I prefer to eat this dish with beef. But you can have an option of getting it in another protein that you prefer. Can be a bit greasy, but totally worth it! - CHICKEN PAD THAI is a classic. It's awesome! I end up eating the whole thing by myself if nobody is watching. Love this stuff! - PUMPKIN CURRY and GANG GA REE (Yellow Curry) - I must admit that all of their curries are yummy. But I am so in love with these two! You pick the base of the curry you want and combine it with the type of protein you'd like. The place can be a little hard to miss since it's in a strip mall and behind a gas station. They're actually doing some construction and making the place a bit smaller. They cut the size of the restaurant in half to get an upgrade and to rent out the other space for some offices. What I love about this place is that they are so efficient and kind. Although they can be a bit slow on service, I'm never disappointed when I come here. You can either dine in or get your food to-go. When I get those Thai cravings, I head to Thailand restaurant! They won't disappoint!!!

There are a plethora of Thai restaurants in the southwest 'burbs and checking out new ones can be an exercise in fright on occasion. You never know exactly what you're going to get, what spicy/hot means to that particular chef and, of course, how the restaurant itself prepares typical Thai food. I'm here to say that, tucked back in a corner behind a gas station and in the shadow of Fearless Freddys and the Tualatin Hills Big Freaking Park is a nice surprise for we wanderers amongst Asian food looking for a treat. An extensive menu, written just a tad bit on the quirky side (ie: the price for Pad Thai Crunchy was $10 1/2.....more commonly written as $10.50. but ya know, I kind of liked it for some reason. Went with the family on a Tuesday night-the place was not full-however there was a largish group of about 10 and several couples so it wasn't exactly empty either. Years ago when this strip mall opened, there was a well known Chinese restaurant here, then moved to Bethany for some reason quite a while ago. There have been a couple of different restaurants here since that served iffy food, so I quit trying them out. This was a nice surprise. We ordered an appetizer plate to start, with tofu, spring rolls, wontons chicken satay and added a side of fried pot stickers. It was a lot of fried food but tasty-especially the chicken satay. We also ordered vegetable rolls-all these were served with a variety of sauces that complemented the food nicely. WE were with a 5 year old who is mostly a vegetarian, and she loves fried tofu with peanut sauce, so the appetizer plate and rice, a bit of each entree was sufficient for her. Great chicken satay BTW--I'd like ti for a light meal with some noodles and rice some evening--super taste and a generous portion. Our main entrees for a family of 4 were Mussman Curry and Veggie Pad Thai. We ordered extra rice but really didn't need to as the serving of rice that comes with the family style bowls of entree would have been sufficient-however this way we had rice to bring home. The Mussman, my daughters favorite, was 5 stars in her opinion. Lightly flavored and with a nice texture, lots of sauce to ladle over rice, it hit the spot. She ordered it mild and mild it was..it's nice when mild doesn't bean "Bletch-no flavor." Son in law ordered Veggie Pad Thai and that traditional dish was far superior to what is prepared at Thai Orchid (or Thai Cabin down the street from Thailand Restaurant). I am always amazed when a Thai restaurant can mess up Pad Thai, but you know it happens! Very pleased that Thailand Restaurant knows how to do Pad Thai. Dinner prices run from $9.00 to $13.00 depending on the meat (or lack thereof) ordered. Soups are also available for $4.00 and up. There was plenty for all of us to share, and even enough to bring home a bit of appetizer and both main dishes. The food ranks 5 stars. Plenty of parking, easy access-a short drive from the SW 158th St. off ramp off Sunset Highway. My one complaint is that there is only one waiter-a young woman who I am willing to bet is a family member- and who works her fanny off. It was just slightly too busy for one person to handle the trade. I had ordered a Mai-Tai and it was too long coming and not particularly well made-although there is a bar area, there is no bartender. I am guessing there is just a chef and the one waitress on weeknights. Sorry, but it's a disservice to customers to keep them waiting for menus, for drinks and to order. It wasn't that she didn't care, she simply had too much to take care of by herself. There is lots of advertisement for Delivery, but it isn't available now, except thru a second party delivery service which, I believe, charges about $5.00 per. We all know the economy is bad but I think they should delete the delivery advertising from their take out menu front page and from the front of the window if it's not actually available - but thats my opinion. There are lots of vegetarian options and the vegetables are fresh and not overly sauced, from what our first meal there could tell. If you're running around this area and want Thai lunch, the lunch menu has a nicely priced assortment of items available, from curries to Pad Thai. Lunch prices run from $8.00 to $10.00. I'm looking forward to go again and want to try the Param Lonk Sonk-a ginger marinated with peanut sauce-that sounds delicious! Our meal priced in at right around $50.00 for the 4 of us, with one drink and a big appetizer tray-we split 2 entrees and had left overs. Highly recommended!

LOVE this place. Except they close at 10pm every night and aren't good about taking a to go order at 9:40. I have always felt restaurants that close at a certain out should SEAT until that time as well. We often order the Pad Thai, the sauce is perfect, not too much or too little. It comes with Shrimp and chicken. My favorite! Another favorite of ours is the Dragular's Nightmare with beef. Broccoli, beef, garlic and chillis. LOVE IT! Remodel is nice as well!

I LOVE this place. It used to be a big cavernous restaurant, not anymore ! It has been converted into a cozy little joint. That changes the whole ambience. The food is delectable. The chef is great ! The curries here are on the more spicy side, so medium here is like hot in other places and so on. But taste and qualitywise, this restaurant is topnotch. I generally dinein (dinner). Service is great. Ive also done takeouts, and the food is always freshly prepared regardless.

At Thailand Restaurant they let you choose how you want your food prepared. Choose your protein, choose your spiciness. This is not a good thing for me. It is just better to tell me to shut up and eat my meal. If you give me choices I just fret. What if I choose incorrectly? Maybe the other one is better, I will tell myself. I roll my eyes, sigh heavily and order my spiciness medium. Oh, I received some fine spicy food, folks, very good indeed by ordering it medium. It was just the way I like it. Enough to make me scream like a school girl yet lick my plate when I am done. So what does that mean to you, poor hapless reader? Order mild for something with a little spark, medium if you like to scream like a nancy-boy, hot if you have machismo issues and extra hot if you would just like to go up like a Sterno can in front of your dinner mates. We had Thai iced tea that was refreshingly not sticky sweet. It had an herbaceous quality and was a lovely quenching drink. SO had his usual Tom Yum, which was somewhat like the good versions that we have had of this soup, yet it was unique and of a more complex nature than we have had ever. He had ordered his soup with chicken, which was cooked perfectly. If I was to quibble, it would be that the broth was a tad salty. I am a pasta boy no doubt about it, so I had the Pad Kee Mao--the drunken noodles with pork. Very good eating, lots of flavors and lots of textures in perfect harmony. SO moved on to Gang Kiew Wan, green curry with chicken. The vegetables were perfectly cooked, even the eggplant which is an easy one to end up soft and tasteless. Portions were, I felt, extremely large--we ate until we were bug eyed, sweaty and limp which is all I can ever hope for in a Thai lunch. Thank all that was holy that all we had to do after this lunch was to limp home to the sofas. Lunch dishes were seven bucks, which is in Burgerville's price range. Our service was spot on, but if you were to head over here for a business lunch, I would work up some feeble excuse for being late getting back, not that anyone will buy your flimsy excuse breathing Thai food breath on them.

No heat! I'm talking temperature, not spice. At dinner, nearly all of the other dozen customers and myself had to wear our coats inside the restaurant because it was so cold. Either the heat was broken or they were just trying to save money. Food-wise, I'd say it was just average. I had the appetizer sampler, green curry with chicken, and shrimp fried rice. The appetizer had fried tofu, fried dumplings, chicken satay, and fried spring rolls. The fried tofu was plain (no sauce on top), the dumpling only had a tiny amount of filling, and the chicken satay was bland. I wouldn't order any of those items again. However, the spring rolls were just fine. The green curry had a nice flavor although the sauce was a bit too thick. The fried rice was tasty and the shrimps were decent size. They are pretty conservative with the spiciness here so I'd get at least medium. Service is a little lacking since there only seems to be a single person as serving as hostess, waitress, and cashier. Disregarding the lack of heat and the bad appetizer, I'd say the food is worthy of 3 stars.

The GF and I have eaten here four times and YES, it's fantastic! The last order (our 4th experience with them) we made was a delivery (It's a Miracle!) and I had not eaten at all that particular day (thank you slave driving job). Well... After my first bite of the pumpkin curry, I had visions of this towering elephant headed beast man thing, and he told me that I must write a yelp review of this little paradise, or suffer eternal Chinese takeout!! The GF and I have eaten Thai food from Alaska to New Mexico and we know a good place when we taste it. We always test a Thai place out first with their Green Curry with Tofu and the first time we dined here was no different, and the gang kiew wan (green curry) was pretty darn good, but not nirvana inducing. However, the other dishes were awesome so we wanted to try it a few more times before deciding. Glad we have! These guys rock the Thai eateries! We have tried their Salad rolls with peanut sauce (tasty!), Drunken noodles, various curries including: Pumpkin Curry (yum! like a tender pumpkin exploded into a sweet and spicy bowl of amazingness!) and various stir fry plates: Pad Ped, Pad Ga Prow, Pad Prik (all have been... Mmmmm!) with beef and chicken. We usually order 3 plates (1 noodle, 1 curry, 1 stir fry) and an appetizer and just about every time have ended up with leftovers (enough for ANOTHER big meal, Hallelujah!!). That's a lot of tantalizing, spice and curry to belly goodness!! What really is the most amazing stroke of luck for us, is that we live within their delivery radius (5 miles). They also add a 1 to 5 dollar fee for deliveries depending on distance, but who cares?! When you're wearing your jam jams and vegging out, you don't want to go drivey drive somewheres... We have dined in twice and had their food delivered twice and outside of a slight delay (I'm nitpicking) on the last delivery (they couldn't figure out which honey comb we lived in) service has been terrific. I almost feel ashamed mentioning that because... THEY FRAKKING DELIVER!!! Don't hurt me Ganesha! Thai food that is this delicious, affordable and plentiful and delivered to your front door?! Thank you Thai Gods I am your happy and sated servant! I will do your bidding my sweet curry pepper lovah! This is now our neighborhood Thai Restaurant!

They recently updated the entire restaurant and it feels very clean and open (albeit a little uninspired). This is not a standard cheepo bland 'to go' sort of thai restaurant. The dishes also seem much more complex and flavorful than what I have found elsewhere. The noodles are always perfectly done and the food is never too greasy or sweet. It's my 'go to' thai place.

This is of my favorite Thai restaurants. I have been going there for over 7 years, always had great lunches and dinners. The place is very spacious. They were very nice to accommodate a big crowd for my friend's birthday too. They have really a lot of vegetarian options. The service and waiters' communication needs some improvement.

The service was remarkably slow for the fact that we were one of two tables. There are drinks on the menu but they've "lost their license." One wonders how seldom they update their menu. The power in the bathroom was out, so I was unable to relieve myself. No suggestion was offered by our server as to what I could do instead, so I had to simply "hold it." The food was okay but the main courses arrived ten minutes apart. It was just okay. One was almost too spicy to eat but for some reason was not indicated as such on the menu. The rest were largely forgettable. Sorry, but I would not recommend this restaurant.

More like a 3.5 Enjoyed the pumpkin curry but the beef broccoli dish was a little cool. We'll be back for another round to try more dishes. Service was exceptionally friendly.

I went there last wednesday (so Aug 15 2012) and so far so good. Food and Price gets 5 stars. I got something (pad see ewe, my fave!!) off of the lunch special ($7) and managed to eat everything without the guilt trip of "oh I ate too much". I was definitely satisfied and had they offered dessert I would have declined. With that said, the serving size for me was slightly more above just right, had I been maybe a huskier guy then I probably would have needed a little more :) My friend got the catfish special and that looked real good ($13) but he didn't eat all his veggies, and although he said he ate half, it seemed like there was definitely more than half left. My dish was delicious!! Not greasy, not bland..just not bad at all. My friend also says his dish was great and the price to him was worth it (he paid). I'm used to $5 food carts, but for a sit down place I guess I can't complain (I wasn't even paying anyway haha). As for ambiance and all that jazz, ehhh, that gets a 3.5 stars as my friend chose that number. From the outside it doesn't look fabulous and inside looks nice and clean, but not too Asian-y lol. Same with service although they were nice, it wasn't the best, it did take a while to get there attention at times, but overall it didn't take forever. I would say about 30-45min from the time we got seated to the time we left. We stayed and chatted for a bit so it was more like 45min for us :) Had we not had a lot to say we could have been outta there in 30 min.

I didn't see any of you at Thailand Restaurant today, and it's your loss! Food seems to be back on track from a quality standpoint. They recently remodeled and made their space smaller. They have a nice bar, and have added a couple new beers on tap. Completely updated space, looks beautiful and tasty Thai food- as good as it gets in Oregon!

Hello, Deliciousness. Welcome to my mouth. Please, please, do come in and make yourself comfortable. I hate using the word "best" in reviews, simply because I'm bound to find something tomorrow that I love even more, and then I'll just sound like "that girl" who thinks everything is "the best this" and "the best that"... So let's just say: The Yellow Curry and the Pumpkin Curry? so efffffing good, I didn't ever want to leave for the coast. I just wanted them to stay. In my mouth. FOREVER.

This place just didn't work for us. We left most of our food untouched. The pumpkin curry was just ok. The appetizer crispy rolls were just cabbage in fried skins. The garlic shrimp strangely did not have a taste even closely resembling garlic or shrimp. It looked more like mushy lobster, devoid of any flavor. And I'm not a fan of huge leg parts sticking out to decorate the plate.

I needed a thai fix and since I was in the area I decided to give this one another try. The service and wait staff were great. I ordered the red beef curry and also a pumpkin curry. The food came right out within 15 minutes. The portion size and flavor were very good. I didn't know if I would like the pumpkin curry at first, but after a few bites, I was hooked. The only down side to the pumpkin dish is the lack of veggies - it's pretty much all pumpkin. No weekend lunch specials, but they do have some discounted menu items. I'll probably go back again when in the area.

I've lived down the street from this place for 2 years and never thought to go until last night. I can't believe what I was missing! I ordered the Red Curry Seafood and it was seriously divine. Also I got some salad rolls and they were fresh and tasty. I took everything to go but I liked the interior of the restaurant. Very clean and the decorations were nice and not gaudy.

Food was good quality but was obviously microwaved leftovers. Had Pad Thai and the noodles were soggy and the sauce had dried out. Won't eat here again. Wouldn't have cared if it was cheap, but for $11.50 you at least expect fresh food.

Had the Drunken Noodles and the Crispy Wontons. Both were delicious and the service was really nice. Prices were a little higher than what I usually like to pay for lunch. Will go back for sure. Not much else to say.....

Can't figure this place out. I think owners change like every couple months because sometimes I'll go and am like "Oh my god, the food is amazing". I'll go in another month and the taste is so off that I'm confused as to whether Ive entered a parallel dimension. Anyways, I considered giving this place a 3 but some of their food items taste too good for a 3 (namely their drunken noodles, pineapple curry and pumpkin curry)

I don't know if I can agree with this place serving the "best Thai food" in Beaverton or elsewhere, but I have to admit to their selections being very tasty indeed. I had their Salad Rolls for an appetizer (very fresh and light; the dipping sauce is an outstanding mixture of sweet and spicy) and their Phad See Ew for an entree (lightly oily and bursting with flavor), and I left with my Thai food craving sufficiently satiated. Unfortunately, I found nothing special about the restaurant-- no complimentary hot tea service, portions were on the small side, and the service was friendly but somewhat slow. It took ten minutes to seat me and another ten minutes to take my order (let alone bring me a glass of water). They were busy for lunch, but that would've been an easy turn-off for a new customer like myself. However, my Salad Rolls came within five minutes of the order, and the Pad See Ew another ten minutes after that. I would consider another visit in the future, and will update my review accordingly. Meanwhile, this spot deserves a solid 3 stars for a well-rounded lunch specials menu, tasty food, and friendly service.

This place serves very good Thai food. Unlike the many places in this area this is very close to authentic as you can get. The service is good and the prices are reasonable compared to other good Thai restaurants. It was nice to finally find a good Thai restaurant in this area. The only negative I can think of is that they seem reluctant to add too much heat to the food even when extra extra hot is requested :).

So far - the best Mussman Curry I've found. And the people are very nice. I get it to go most times. I would suggest steering clear of the papaya salad though have definitely had better.

Good food. Brown rice - very important. Had lunch today - #1 Red Curry & #2 Green Curry both with eggplant, veges & tofu. Then we shared mango sticky rice and fried ice cream. All good, will go back again.

So i totally love love LOVE spicy food and its been hard to find a thai restaurant that is able to make their dishes spicy enough for me. I've been asked by a few restaurants how spicy I want my entree and regardless of my reply of 'very spicy,' it has all been mediocre. As for Thailand Restaurant's indication of 'very spicy,' they can still go up a few more notches, but for now it is the best I have found. And to end my review, I highly recommend people to try the green curry and drunken noodles. NomNomNom.

Maybe I came on a bad night but the service was not good at all. They only had one waitress working and she had to clear tables, bring out food, seat guests and also be cashier and a smoothie maker. I felt sorry for her. Despite the fact that it took about 15 minutes for her to take our order, and additional 20-30 min for the food to come out, the food was great! Big portions and very authentic thai food.

I've got 19 years of restaurant service under my belt, and have a great love for Thai Cuisine. First off....the food was fantastic!!! However...the service made me physically angry. I arrived with my parents, sister, her boy, and my two boys. Right off the bat we were sat in the back of the restaurant, and it took 15 minutes to get a greeting and place an order. Then another 30 minutes to receive food. All of these things were personally forgiven because I have a high tolerance for slow service, especially when they are busy. When we were finished, we sat, and sat, and sat, and waited for some boxes to take our food home, (mmm...left over thai is my favorite) an no one ever came. Finally, with our young children running out of patience, and us having already run out of time invested for lunch, just get up, get the kids together, and began moving to the front. I was tempted to just pick up my plates and take them with me since, I didn't think I would get the opportunity to pack it up and take it home. Finally, we got someone to give us a bill, and I had to ask for boxes. Finally, with one baby in one arm, and chasing another out the door, I boxed it myself, and upon trying to close the box, I found that the box had been previously USED and the latch was torn off, and marked with a pen. GROSS!!!! I was so angry I didn't even want to take the food home after all. Get your act together, and staff more people. There are 50 people that would take that job in a heartbeat.

I have absolutely no complaints about this restaurant. The service is good, the hours are great (for late-night Thai cravings that is) and the food is 100% delicious, all for a more than reasonable price. I am an especial fan of the crispy Pad Thai, the regular Pad Thai, the drunken noodles and the Thai iced tea. If you get the opportunity to try Thailand Restaurant, don't pass it up!

I had tom yum soup and it was delicious. The portion was huge, but it could have had more vegetables and less noodles. The service was pretty slow, there was only one waiter/cashier/busser.

Uesd to be a fan of this restaurant, but over 30 minute wait for a To Go order? Patrons were coming in, sitting, and eating prior to us receiving food. Inexcusable! Lost a customer forever!

I love Thailand Restaurant! Whether I go there for lunch or dinner with friends, or just pick up take-out on my way home from 12 hours at work, I have always been thrilled with the food. The meats are lean and tasty, the sauces aren't too thick or heavy, and the vegetables are crisp and fresh. Love it!

Went here on a trip to Portland. The food was good, and the seating comfortable. We tried the Tom Yum soup, the Pad Ki Mow, Red curry and the pad thai, and everything was tasty and well worth it. Will certainly try it again when I'm in Portland.

Excellent pumpkin curry. The crispy pad thai was pretty good too. The boba balls were really tender- you could tell they were freshly made. We got a BBQ beef dish that was slightly overcooked and chewy, but otherwise, everything else was good and would come here agin.

I went for lunch yesterday and I found this place to be just ok. I ordered the green curry asked for it as spicy as they could make it and I still had to add crushed red peppers and chili sauce to make it spicy. Also the curry paste they used just didn't seem to have much flavor to me seemed kinda bland. I guess maybe I had higher expectations after reading some of the comments here. I hope I can find better thai food in the area if not I guess this place will have to do.

As I was wolfing down one of the ten or so dishes we ordered I started to worry: "This is TOO good, everything is Amazing, there MUST be MSG!" But, no. No MSG. Just really really good food. In fact, I'd dare say it's the best Thai food around Portland. I just wish I lived closer.

Great Thai food! I'm from Thailand and basically grew up on good home cooking Thai food. This place is sure close to the "real" Thai food. The place may not look too exciting but the food will make you sooo happy.

I work over in Cornell Oaks and this is always a good place to take a client to lunch. The lunch menu isn't the biggest but it's always satisfies. Spicy curries are usually just right, and not over done. One downside is that the service can be a bit slow.

  • Kamal B.

The food and service is always good. I always order the Tom Yum soup, it is made to perfection, chicken and veggies well cooked. I have tried many items on their menu.. My Kids love the Pad Thai and Drunken noodles. My favorite is Pad Prik, Pad Him Ma Parn, Dracula's Nightmare and Peanut Sauce lover. Food is cheap and tastes good. Hands down, my favorite Thai restaurant.

Was simply not that impressed with Thailand Restaurant. From the time we arrive at 9:20 (they close at 10) and asked to do take out since they close at 10, mind you that's 40 mins away from when they should be starting their closing procedures. I found the hostess to be rude, customer service is definitely lacking at this establishment. The food was alright, I've had better in places nearby.... Probably will not dine here again.

the only thai place i'll go to in beaverton. great thing is that they add NO MSG! that's like one of my peeves w/ asian food-that darn MSG. it's so unnecessary, unhealthy, and wacks out your taste buds. so no MSG AND WOW food? that's gotta be TTU (Two Thumbs Up)! my favs: pumpkin curry, pad thai, pad kee mao, crab fried rice, tom yum soup, chicken with basil leaves. (they have bubble tea there too, but i've never tried it).

  • chelley L.

4 stars because they actually use gai lan (chinese broccoli) in their pad see ew. every other thai place i've been to other thai places in beaverton and they use regular brocoli... it just isn't the same. its a little more expensive though.

I was in the mood for Thai and decided to yelp the restaurant and went with the place with the highest rating in the area. This place is really cute, welcoming and cozy. The food was great and there is a bar too!!! Will definitely come back.
