This location is pretty bare bones and snoozefest material in my opinion. There's not a lot of seating, most of it uncomfortable.. with another Starbucks right across the street no less killing my beloved Coffee People. So this one deserves the star treatment from me. Lets review it in .... valley girl speak. The most annoying speak of all! Next coffee spot I do deserves the bible thumping treatment. I've always wanted to use my mom's infamous saying in a review: the devil is alive in you! Now lets do this bitches. Oh my Gaww. Like this one is like attached to the Barnes and Noble? Like How totally cool is that? Like I know, like many are but still! OMG like it can be like so totally busy with like high school kids like usually and junk? Like waaaay crowded with like no seating, duuuuuuh. It's like pretty clean and like totally not like grody? To the max! Yeah! So like the baristas are like totally nice? Hipsters with no attitude? Totally! So anyway, parking can be like totally hard and such so sometimes I like park closer to like Barnes and noble and like Office Max or Staples? I don't know, whatever. People like here and totally camp out and spend like hours and hours here, that's like so totally annoying, like some of us wanna like chill for a little bit here too ya know? Totally!! So like closing down Coffee People for another Starbucks like right across the street? That was way harsh Tai!

Nice location, cozy looking place with huge tables. Love that the bookstore is right next door can grab a book and relax with some coffee for the afternoon.

Nice location, nice people, and nice coffee. I enjoy coming to this place either by myself to read or with others to drink some coffee and have good conversation. It's close from my place and has good vibe esp late night. Plus there is Barnes and Nobles right next door - connected inside - so you can enjoy a good book and coffee at the same time if you want to. Only downside to this Starbucks place is that it can get pretty crowded. There were few times I came by and left since it was so crowded at night. During the day, it's less crowded though. In the end, this is one Starbucks location I enjoy going.

Just your standard Starbucks, but it's right next door to Barnes & Noble so it's convenient for grabbing a drink and browsing the book stacks.

Conveniently located near another Starbucks that has a drive-through. This location is also attached to the Barnes and Noble bookstore. Free wi-fi. A wide selection of pastries, salad, sandwiches and baked goods. I definitely recommend downloading their app on your smartphone. Register your Starbucks giftcards and you will be rewarded. Their star program has me hooked. I'm on my way to being a GOLDMEMBER. It's the little things that keep me happy.

Myself another couple standing in line for several minutes well the girl at the register bullshits with her friend and the other two girls working wandering around giggling about the displays and laughing and going to have a counter and using the phone never once reading any of us were offering to help us or letting us know when somebody is going to be with us. Guess who can take his business somewhere else? Adios - down the road I go to a place that wants to earn my money with a smile.

3.5 stars. The morning crew is nicer and more helpful than the afternoon crew... I always feel like I'm bothering the people who work there when I go after 2. That said, this morning I was able to get in and out in a flash, my drink was perfect, and the girls were super nice. They had a surprisingly good selection of pastries for being 10 am- usually that stuff is sold out by then at other Starbucks. I'm not a fan of the new pastries- I miss the original Starbucks stuff- but the pumpkin bread was pretty good.

Starbucks catches a lot of flak for being cookie-cutter and over-priced. I'd like to offer a different viewpoint. Cookie-cutter? Another way of saying that is "consistent." I've visited dozens of Starbucks all over the world and the only real variation has been the layout. There was one store in Bahrain that didn't take Starbucks cards, which was odd, and a few times I've found the service to be even more friendly and prompt than I've come to expect, which is saying a lot. I don't WANT a huge variation from one store to another. Sometimes I would rather visit a purely-local or non-chain shop, and I do, but more often I want the Starbucks experience I've come to love. Over-priced? The prices are a little high, perhaps, but you're paying for more than the beverage. You're paying for the ability to sit back and watch someone else prepare your drink and clean up the mess. Often times it's worth it to me to pay a little extra and let someone else do the work. With that said, this location is exactly on par with the high bar Starbucks has set. Friendly, reliable, fast--what you've come to expect. The hardest thing for me about going to Starbucks these days is deciding between Pike and Blonde roasts.

I've been to this Starbucks several times while visiting my dad who lives in the area. Today the service was excellent! I've never had a horrible experience here before but was loving it today. I like that it's attached to Barnes & Noble. I can grab a book and sit and read a few chapters while sipping my coffee.

This is my favorite Starbucks in Beaverton -- and not just because it's across the street from where I live. It is quite noisier than most other locations, and can get quite busy, but it's also got its own convenient entrance into Barnes & Noble. Perfect for a day of lounging around reading books with a good coffee. I've been going to this location for several years now and I've never had a bad experience. The employees are always patient and friendly and I've never had a drink that was less than great. A Starbucks is a Starbucks but sometimes extra-friendly employees make it that much better!

A Starbucks is a Starbucks, but how many Starbucks do you know that are open until midnight? Yes, you read that right. MIDNIGHT. This store is open from 3am-midnight. Perfect for all you college students or workaholics who need to get out of the house to get stuff done.

Loud, loud and loud. The staff were nice, fast and made good drinks. The volume of the music was the only problem for me. Just very loud thumping pop music blasted from the ceiling to every part of the cafe. Everyone in the store was trying to read or use their laptops, it at least prevented anyone from having a conversation. Based on the unrelenting overly loud music I don't think I will ever willing return to this particular Starbucks with the intention of sitting down. Perhaps this is fine for other people but it was absolute torture for me. If anyone else has an issue with overly loud music I would advise to try another location. This is perhaps perfect for some people, the cafe had a lot of foot traffic, but was a deal breaker for me. Also please note that while this is a Starbucks that is connected to Barnes and Noble it's not a Barnes and Noble branded cafe so you can use your Starbucks card here. Normally, Barnes and Noble branded Starbucks cafes (inside Barnes and Noble) are fairly quiet, in my experience, which is why I came here. This cafe is connect by a doorway but is its own store.

The line is always very slow. Several workers buzzing around, but they don't seem to be very efficient. Like today when the line stacked up and they only had one cashier working with someone who was taking forever to pay. Everyone else was sweeping, doing other prep work. It took what seemed like several minutes for someone to go to the other register and ask to help the next person in line. I haven't tried to pre-order using the app because the reserve coffees aren't available to order with that. I continue to go here because they have a clover machine which makes a great cup of coffee.

Okay, so other than store size and inventory, Starbucks stores in my experience are all about the same. For the most part, there is a consistency of style and brew. This one is set apart from many of the others in that they are one of (currently) fifteen Oregon stores that possesses a Clover machine. The Clover brewing system evidently produces a much more smooth and mellow drink when compared to traditional espresso machines. To be honest, this coffee-addict couldn't tell the difference and Wife N. actually thought the coffee had more of a bright, acidic tone from the Clover system. This location is also attached to a Barnes and Noble, which is great for caffeinated book addicts or those who just love to leave ring-shaped coffee stains on bookshelves. It's a moderately large Starbucks with plenty of table space for students and power ports for Macbook-toting Hipsters. It can get kind of loud during peak hours. In all, it's an above-average Starbucks. But it's a Starbucks.

After a somewhat long day of being haggled by car dealers in the search for the perfect car for my friend, we decided to stop into 'Bucks after exiting the adjoining Barnes & Nobles. The general layout of this 'Bucks is decent and trendy but open enough where more than just a handful of people could sit and sip without feeling claustrophobic. My friend ordered a passion fruit lemonade with 10 pumps of sugar syrup and I got a green tea frappucino. Both I believe are not normally on the menu. Of course the total came to about $9, which is pretty standard for Starbucks, but we headed to the end of the service counter to join the others that had amassed at the end of the counter patiently waiting to satisfy whatever urges were pent up in them & fiending for caffeine. There were apparently 3 people working the counter and what irked me is that there was only one person making drinks. So they two people at the register continued to just keep ringing up the almost never-ending line of customer and just passing the cups down and the poor girl making drinks was visibly overwhelmed. Understandably, the strategy was to try to get rid of the line at the registers and then all three could get on making all the drinks, but alas the line never ends at 'Bucks. I made the mistake of ordering a blended drink which all those that ordered blended drinks got put on the back burner to make less complicated drinks. We watched as the girl only put 3 pumps of sugar in my friend's lemonade. She ordered and also paid for 10 pumps of sugar but granted the gal was overwhelmed. About 10-15 minutes went by and the green tea frappe was not even started. Still the people on the regs just keep taking orders & the stress level of the girl making drinks as well as the now impatiently waiting customers continuously increased. All I'm saying is why put two people on registers and 1 person making drinks. Starbucks is always busy so you're almost never going to clear the line enough to close one register. Most people will wait in line to pay for coffee and will also wait to receive it but it just seems not as practical when two people can churn out cups faster than one at most times. The frappe was good but certainly not worth the wait. This is part of the reason I hardly ever go to 'Bucks.

I got my first really really REALLY awful coffee from this location. It was without a doubt, the worst drink I have ever had from any coffee shop. I'm not sure what the barista did but there was clearly something wrong. I know that SBs has a policy to remake your coffee if you don't like it, so I couldn't choke down what they gave me and asked for another one. The one caveat was that I wanted a different barista to make it. That's when things got bad. I didn't think it was a big deal but apparently from the ROLLING EYES and sour puss face that the original barista put on display, she took much more offense to it than needed. Regardless of how offended she was, it was lacking in BASIC customer service to be so rude. I mean, she's the one that made the mistake! I am never going back to this location again.

Line around 1pm was pretty long but the staff is nice and doing their best. Good amount of seating indoor and out. Attached to a Barnes and Noble I think, just noticed the book store entrance on the side here. Ahh books and coffee, that's a nice smell.
