Great restaurant ! Ate here a couple time and I am glad that I did. The food is amazing and the servers are very friendly. Definitely one of the best restaurants here in Beaverton. Also, the enterior of the restaurant is awesome. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you are in or passing through Beaverton

Lots of choices for happy hour (food and drinks). Staff was very helpful holding our birthday cake in the fridge and providing extra plates and forks. The restaurant is very clean and prices reasonable. Everything tasted good but for some reason, they left the peel/skin on diced limes in some of the dishes. We didn't like the texture and taste of that. If I ever come back again, I will try a dish that is not on the happy hour list.

The variety on the menu at Siam Lotus is astounding, combining regional Thai favorites with unique chef-inspired entrees and the best street food Thailand has to offer. The drink menu has international classics with a Thai twist. I ordered the Bangkok Bloody, which is a Bloody Mary made with chili paste and Thai pepper. I also ordered the Mango Sticky Rice, a blended drink that tastes freakishly like the famed Thai dessert. My favorite entree that I've ordered is the Massuman Curry, which is made with a yellow curry, roasted peanuts, and roasted coconut. I'll be back here without a doubt.

Absolutely fantastic! We've been here twice and the service and food are excellent. The pad Thai and mango sticky rice are the best I've had.

Best Thai restaurant I have ever been too! Brought a group of 12 for a birthday. Owner has this place dialed in. Great atmosphere and best food... Caramelized chicken wings, Princess Curry, absolutely the best!

I love this place. I always get the salmon and mango salad. It's so good and the service is really fast. Plus they have a tropical fish aquarium which is nice because you can watch the really pretty fish.

First time here. My wife and I enjoy trying various restaurants and I must say the food here is very delicious. The service was friendly and we enjoyed the atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

Had the Angel Eggplant dish with beef, Honey Crisp Chick chicken and Golden Cashew Chicken, All dishes were delicious, flavorful and fresh, our server was attentive made reccommendations and was very courteous, proffessional (Joseph). Sorry no pics, are all the food and next thing I knew it was gone, no doggy bag. Top it off with coconut ice cream......delish. Very Clean and great decor. Been to many thai places on west side, one of the best.

So far, so good! I miss having Thai food on a whim, so this place is great. Happy hour starts with dishes at $1.99, but you for sure have to order a beverage. My favorite thing to order at any time of day is the pad kee mao!! Lunchtime is $8 for a generous helping, and happy hour is a decent size platter for $5. You can easily walk out of Siam Lotus with only having paid about $10 per person with drinks.

The service was great, the decor and ambiance were gorgeous, the cocktails were interesting and on point. Really though, this review is about the duck. I love duck. I order duck anywhere that has it on the menu. Unfortunately, duck is really hard to cook. 9 out of 10 times, the duck is fatty, soggy and tough. Not at Siam Lotus. The duck is perfect. I've had duck all over this great nation and this duck is the best duck I've ever had. Get the duck. I can't emphasize this enough. 5 stars. I'll be back. Other things: some of the food was a tad sweet, but balanced perfectly. Me, I like things on the sweet side, so that worked out well for me. The Miang Kum Shooter was sweet but fascinating--so many flavors I've never experienced before, every bite was an odyssey. My husband, who isn't as much for the sweet, ordered Pad Se Eew and it was exceptionally good. I highly recommend this restaurant! Get the duck.

Tried them out for lunch. 5 star for ambience.. (They have a huge indoor and outdoor sitting) 4 star for service 3.5 star for pad Thai (excess of sweetness that I didn't like) 5 star for green curry with tofu (just great) Over all satisfying lunch experience. I will recommend this place if you are looking for good ambience and above average Thai food. I will go again to try more options from the menu.

I recommend making a trip out here, even if you don't live in Beaverton itself. We came here yesterday evening around 8:15 PM because I happened to be in the SW part of Portland and saw that happy hour was all day on Sunday (in the bar/lounge, not the restaurant). Wow---HUGE selection of delicious dishes! A fabulous way to try a bunch of different items off the menu. The bartender was very friendly and attentive, and the owner brought us our food and chatted with us as well. Great spot for a low-key Sunday date, and the restaurant itself was nicely laid out so I'm sure it would be enjoyable in one of the spacious booths or at a table in the dining room.

I went here last night with my boyfriend and we have plans to go back, and to bring more people because the food here is amazing. The cocktails were good, I got the raspberry lemon drops which were well made, strong but not overwhelmingly sweet. We had the chicken satay to start, which were incredible. The chicken was perfectly cooked and spiced, and the peanut sauce was delicious. The thing that made me give it five stars was my dinner. I got the cinnamon duck, and my boyfriend and I are still raving about it. Even if everything else was awful (which it wasn't), we would go back just for the duck. The asparagus was perfectly cooked, and the oranges and pineapple chunks made it perfect. If you like duck, but have a hard time finding a restaurant that makes it well, I highly recommend this place. Best duck I have ever had.

Just had dinner last night at Siam Lotus (9/18/15). The food was fine. The service was abysmal. Our waitress took our order for entrees and appetizers, then we pretty much never saw her again. Then after about 15 minutes the food starting arriving piecemeal (including the "appetizers"). It took over 10 minutes for everything to arrive and was brought by two different people, none of which was our waitress. Once all the food got there we began eating -- except for one person whose entree had not yet arrived. That person graciously told everyone to go ahead and start eating, assuming their food should be coming shortly, since everything was arriving so haphazardly. Except it didn't. After about 10 minutes we cornered the waitress and asked about the missing entree. She said she had it on her ticket, but apparently the kitchen didn't get the message. She put the order back in to them, with (I guess) some sort of message to expedite it. It eventually got to to our table -- but in about another 15 minutes, brought by yet another person. At that point everyone else at our table had finished their meal and the person whose entree it was refused it and asked that it be taken off our ticket. The server seemed surprised, said ok, and took it away. At some point our waitress came by with a lukewarm apology and asked if we wanted a "free" dessert. No one was in the mood to sit there any longer so we declined. After a couple of more minutes the bill was brought to the table. (The entree that had never appeared had been taken off.) However as iciing on the cake, there was an 18% gratuity automatically included in the $105 bill since we were a party of 6. Isn't that great? I couldn't even reflect the poor service in the gratuity! The real aggravation though was there didn't seem to be anyone in charge. There was no continuity of service, and no one really had any idea what was going on. I almost feel like the poor guy who finally brought the missing entree was thrown to the wolves, since he didn't seem to have any idea this entree was 25 minutes late. This restaurant had all the hallmarks of something that was about to go out of business shortly. Discord, indifference, and complete apathy. I wouldn't be surprised if it's closed up in 3 months. Oh and did I mention this was my nieces birthday dinner, and she had chosen the place? I think she felt worst of all. Happy Birthday indeed. :-(

Very good ambience and good for groups. We tried a variety of dishes and all of them were flavorful. The best was the bbq duck curry...We will surely come back !

One night, having just forced down the majority of a bottled, green, celery-heavy juice drink, I began craving delicious Thai noodles. Wanting to try somewhere new in the neighborhood, I came across Siam Lotus and remembered that I had previously spotted it during my trial 24 Hour Fitness membership. I decided on Basil Noodles w/ Chicken for takeout. The person on the other end of the phone was very friendly and inquired about the spice level, explaining that they use a 1-5 rating system for heat. I opted for a 1. He said it would be ready in about 10 minutes and that he would include additional spice on the side in case I wanted to increase it a bit. Showed up and paid for my order. Someone brought it from the back and I headed out to my car. I then realized they hadn't included a fork, which would be an issue since I wasn't going directly home. This meant I had to walk all the way back to the restaurant, which normally isn't an issue, but it was windy and pretty cold out. They also didn't include any of the spices on the side as they said they would. The dish was delicious. Maybe it could have been a bit spicier, but really it was quite good the way it was prepared. I would happily order it again, although I'm also curious to see what else they have.

My wife and I are so pleased to find Siam Lotus! My wife is Thai, so believe me, she knows good Thai food when she finds it. Siam Lotus is clean, tastefully decorated, has easy private parking and the food is absolutely amazing. There are so many tasty choices on the menu that every visit will challenge your decision making skills. I recommend the Lemongrass Clam Chowder, Mieng Kum Shooters, and the Panang Curry. If you love fresh, Asian food in a great atmosphere, there's no beating Siam Lotus!

We have eaten here 3 times in 3 weeks. It's a fantas5ic place. As giod as pok pok with the wait and the attitude. I have tried 6 or 7 different items in the menu and all were top notch.

Our first time at Siam Lotus. The service was very good, waiters/waitresses are very attentive to make sure we are good with everything. We ordered a calamari, duck curry, pad Thai, and mango sweet rice dessert. Calamari was crispy and sweet and sour dipping sauce. Duck curry and pad Thai were both good, not the best we had, but it was one of the best one in Portland. The mango sweet rice dessert was a bit too sweet for my liking. Overall experience was good, we would definitely come back.

  • Mona B.

Finally got a chance to tried them out. Did a take-out for lunch. The service was great - friendly on the phone and friendly in person. The food was ready fast. The calamari was very good, but I thought the price was high given the amount. The boat noodle soup was good, definitely better than that other place on Hall. The crispy pork belly with chinese broccoli was good, but I found it to be rather salty and I thought the price was too high - overall I felt their food was good, but the price point was $2-3 higher than what I felt would be fair.

Amazing. Great service and delicious food. The atmosphere is really nice as well. We had the red curry which is super delicious and finished up with some terrific home made coconut ice cream and the fried banana dessert.

  • Paulo D.

Food was good decent and came out timely, however the service was horrible. We came with a party of 8 so we had a decent sized order. The waitress did not complete the order, she missed an entree and a drink. But she insisted we order the drink, even though we were halfway through our food, because we came to the restaurant during a happy hour time. So we ordered another drink just for the sake of fighting. We were still charged the order we did not receive so we had to fix that before we left. I recommend ordering take out so you don't have to deal with the service.

A Groupon special brought us in, but the service and portion sizes will be bringing us back! They have a beautiful outdoor courtyard with patio seating and fine dining indoors with a great ambiance. You'll get more than your money's worth! Perfect for family or an intimate date.

  • Rini D.

They have a very good lunch menu. I tried their Bangkok beef noodles and it was really good! It's basically wide rice noodles topped with a beef sauce and a fried egg. The spice level 3.5 was perfect, just the right amount of spicy! Thai ice tea was Ok, I've had better. Looking forward to try their holy basil noodles the next time I visit !

We went to Siam Lotus based on the Yelp reviews. We were very happy we went. We started with fresh salad rolls. The peanut sauce was quite tasty. Each of us ordered something different. I had the Pad Thai with chicken, the others ordered Holy Basil Wok and Cashew Wok. All were quite yummy. We will definitely be back.

This place was super delicious. had a very good size happy hour menu, everything was under 6$ food wise and was so good. ended up trying an assortment of things, and the portions were really surprising for being happy hour foods. Everything had great flavor, cooked perfectly, and as a bonus everything had good presentation. Things actually were plated like their pictures.

Siam is back!! We used to go to Siam in Beaverton years ago. We loved it and were sad when they moved out of the area. We decided to come in here late one night and were delighted to see our old pal Lek was back in town! The happy hour menu is amazing, so many choices, and great hours. The food is fresh! And very well prepared. The employees are all friendly and know the menu. The cocktail list is extensive, and the restaurant is hip, we will frequent this establishment and enjoy every minute of it. This is a great place to meet friends and have a good meal.

Thai food is friggin everywhere in the Portland area. BUT if you are looking for some great Thai food at a fantastic price, head over here. My boyfriend and I were working out one day at the 24 hour fitness thats nexdoor and I was starvin like marvin. I saw "thai" on a resturant across the street and made a bee line. Ever since then we've been eating there maybe 2-4 times a month especially during their all day Sunday happy hour! They have the coolest assortment of unique happy hour cocktails including my favorite which is a passionfruit martini with a thai chili vodka in it. Holy cow it is great. I'm a sucker for mango sticky rice and theirs is my second favorite in the city compared to Pok Pok Noi. (whaaaaat) I've gotten their stay chicken skewers, salad rolls, ginger chicken and mushrooms, tom kha, pad thai, coconut shrimp...probably a few other things as well but these come to mind. All super tasty! Anyways, if you are in Beaverton and on a budget - well you don't have to be- check out Siam Lotus. It is TASTY. (Side note; staff is super friendly and pretty attentive. Sometimes a few staff will be kind of awkward or seemingly rude as I've seen in comments below, but you kind of have to understand that authentic thai comes from true Thailanders and so some of them are still learning english - be patient and kind)

At first, I was skeptical about this place (fearing that it was another Thai Bloom, which caters more to the American tastebud) because usually, Asian restaurants either have good authentic food but poor atmosphere (aka the hole-in-the-wall style restaurants like Bun Bo Hue on 82nd or Rama Thai on TV Highway in Beaverton) or good ambience but the food lacks authenticity. HOWEVER, this place has both! The ambience/atmosphere (see uploaded pics) is really nice (nice enough for dates) and the food is very authentic (the kitchen is an open kitchen and you could see the Thai mom/grandma chef preparing the food). C'mon, they even have Papaya Salad Laos Style (made with fermented anchovies paste, see attached picture). It was very authentic but the taste was a bit too strong for me (if you prefer the limey-taste, stick with the regular Papaya Salad Thai style). The Holy Basil Noodles, recommended by our waiter, is a must! I usually gauge my Thai restaurants by how good their pad thai is but I wanted to try something new this time and I'm glad I did! It was absolutely delicious and full of flavor (not too saucy/liquidity but enough sauce to cover all of the noodles). For my next visit, I'll try to go on a Sunday (which is all-day happy hour) to try their chicken wings and other goodies. Definitely give this place a chance!

Lek and his crew do a fantastic job! Servers are attentive but not over bearing. The kitchen turns out fresh flavorful consistent dishes time and time again! The atmosphere is calm and serene, but definitely casual and welcoming! The Thai music is soothing, and not jarring. Perfect for lunch/dinner conversation. The libations are inventive and yummy all at the same time. The lychee martini is very good! (Previous visit for dinner...) This restaurant has nice tall booths, so kids can spread out if needed, while the parents enjoy a rare dinner out! Stop in, you won't be sorry!

  • Natalia W.

My first visit, some of the best Thai in the area. Saturday's visit, dinner they showcase dinner specials and we chose one. I expected the dinner to be fresh due to a high turnover. We ordered tom yum and when the soup came out, finally decided on the Honey Crisp Chicken and the Massaman curry chicken. The food came out before we could take two spoonfuls of soup in our mouths. Why, because the Honey Crisp Chicken was cooked probably before we even pulled into the parking lot. I really really dislike when restaurants recycle food. I don't trust you after that. If someone else ordered it either you eat it or throw it away. Do not serve me food that's been sitting! We eat out a lot. I will quietly scratch this one off the list based upon that one slick move.

Great Thai food and a full bar. Had the Khao Soy noodles and Kumquat Mojito. The noodles had great flavor in a hearty yellow curry soup. Drink was good too. We also tried a sample of their take on clam chowder with coconut milk instead of cream. I actually liked it more than most regular white clam chowders as it didn't taste as "heavy". They just moved here so not many people know they are here yet. The space is big and comfortable, and right off the max line. Service was friendly and helpful.

We were rudely turned away. After a long, hard, bad day, almost 8 months pregnant and tired, my husband decided to take me here since I have been wanting to try it so bad. The site says they close at 9:30 on Mondays. Yelp says 9:30. Their door says 9:30. We get there a little after 9:00, a huge family inside is just being served and I think this is a good sign. We walk in. No hello. Just "We're closed." No sorry. Just an older man telling us again that they closed at 9. A waiter comes out to bring more food for the family. "If you'd like, we can take a to-go order for you," the waiter says. No. Thank you. I have been craving hot, fresh Thai food. We walked out as he was giving the family more food. Very sad. It looked alright. The parents of the family didn't seem to be enjoying themselves but the kids did. I went and drowned my sorrows with a strawberry milkshake at ihop. That family was probably still eating their food well past their posted "closing" time on the door. Call before you go and make sure they're open. You never know. Also, their website says Happy Hour is "Mondays - Thursdays from 4pm to 6pm and 9pm until closing." PFT. You CLOSE at 9pm. Why even advertise that?

great Thai food and it comes really fast. The Masssamum Curry is a must have and so it the Pad Thai.

  • Casey B.

My favorite Thai restaurant! The service is amazing and all of the dishes are delicious. If you're a classic Pad Thai kind of person, theirs is the best I've ever had. All the chefs are from Thailand which makes it a special experience in my opinion. The mango sticky rice and the coconut sticky rice desserts are both super yummy! I could eat them all day... but I probably shouldn't. ;)

Thai food is always a hit or miss for me, I usually either love it or dislike it pretty instantly. I know, major thai food snob right here, guillllllltyyyyyyy. Went to Siam for the first time last week for happy hour and I loved the prices! $3.50 for draft beer (getting happy), 6.50 for shrimp fried rice or pad thai (getting happier), and I get to add on a bowl of tom yum for only 3 bucks? Super duper happy. Obviously there is more to the menu but those are the ones we tried. I was impressed with how good the food also was, everything came out extremely quickly and I was excited to return to try the dinner portions. This place will be somewhere you can call your regular thai food spot. The ambience is also nice and the service was great! Thank you Siam.

  • Greg P.

Excellent food, absolute tops. Super friendly waitstaff... Honestly doesn't get much better than this. Also the ambiance is great modern upscale casual, family friendly, very eye pleasing and roomy. That said, no local beers on draft. Only one Oregon beer in a bottle. I would drop half a star for that if I could, but the food was so good (princess chicken curry, red curry halibut, satay, pad see ew... All outstanding) I leave it at 5 I've eaten at many Thai restaurants in this country and and others, including Thailand... This place ranks among the best true Happy eating

Visited this place for lunch. The food was excellent. The manager Joseph was very nice and made great recommendations. I got the ginger garden and my husband ordered the khao suay. Both were very good. Huge portions even for lunch. Would definitely come back here again

The service was awesome. Food was good, they where fast and kept my water full. The specials were good and they don't skimp on the portions. We will be comming back for sure. Was on a date and it went amazing. The lunch menu was good priced we might try that sometime but we can for dinner. Ate outside was a little hesitant about eating outside and not being seen but they made sweeps outside and was happy with the service even out doors

Whoa, I thought I had incredible Thai food before, but Siam Lotus is now tops for sure. Incredibly friendly staff, service was impeccable(I had my main dish in less than 10min--I started with the clam chowder which was amazing with the coconut milk). Flavors popped off the plate, spice(level3) was just right for my taste. I can't wait to go back!!!(my mouth is drooling as I type)

Just found this treasure in Beaverton. My partner and I had the Gai Hor Bai Toey (deep fried chicken thighs in Pandanus leaves (Delicious), Summer Fire Halibut (Delicious), and the Mango shrimp (good). Ambiance is great for dining in even on a date and the staff are friendly. Very good all around. Will be back.

My friend and I went for dinner and we had a great time! We felt very welcome and comfortable. We started out with an order of Chicken Curry Puffs. Honestly, I could have eaten those ALL NIGHT! So delicious! For my entrée, I had the Pad Ped catfish, which was lovely. Just a hint of spice and lots of veggies! My friend had the Noodle Delight. She loved it and finished the WHOLE plate! When it came time for dessert, our waitress came over and listed off the options, however, she didn't really explain any of them, so we chose the Purple Rice Pudding. When it arrived, we weren't incredibly pleased. It was just too heavy, with nothing to lighten it, so it felt like a bowl of Azuki. Soon, our waitress realized that she hadn't talked to us about any of our dessert choices, so she came back and offered us a free scoop of homemade coconut ice cream to go with the rice pudding. This absolutely MADE the dish! So great! The ice cream was so light and delicious! We cannot wait to go back!

The curry is amazing both green and red. The mango and shrimp is well balanced. The Tom yum reminds me of home. As with most Thai its best served spicy with a cold beer. The more you eat the better it tastes. There sticky wings are really good.

Popped in for dinner on a Sunday evening. The restaurant has a nice ambience and is inviting. We were quickly seated and started with the spring rolls (which were average) with a delicious peanut sauce to start us off. The entrees are served family style and we enjoyed the Pad Thai, the Holy Basil Wok and the Cashew Wok. All of the dishes were delicious. Everyone agreed that we'd be back again. The menu is large and has plenty of options and specials. Definitely give this place a try!

November 26, 2014 I hosted a dinner party for the Asian Food Group Meetup. We had 18 people. I would like to thank the entire Siam Lotus staff. It was a very successful dinner. That does not happen with luck. It happens because a lot people worked very hard to take care of a large dinner party. From the beginning the owner, Lek, was very helpful. He promptly called me back and replied to my emails and my special requests. All 10 dishes we ordered were from the specials menu. We were not looking to eat the typical pad thai. Each dish was different and very flavorful. I would like to give our waiter, Joseph, 5 stars for impeccable service. I had a few special requests and he was very patient and accommodating to our large group. Thank you again to the whole staff. I hope this place stays around!

The Mussaman Curry was fine...as good as anywhere. But the wide noodle Holy Basil is perfectly balanced, truly a work of art. And do not miss the clam chowder! Think Tom Ka with clams and bacon instead of chicken.....I will return for this dish alone.

Best Thai food! Great prices, delicious food, great service, beautiful restaurant! This is honestly the best Thai food I've had in the greater Portland area as well as the greater Seattle area. Will definitely be returning soon! I highly recommend the Bangkok beef noodle and the holy basil noodle!

I usually don't care about the decor and space of Asian restaurants but Siam Lotus is very beautiful. It's spacious, clean and features lovely Thai decorations in a modern western design. The menu is extremely well made and features many images of dishes with clear descriptions. A lot of love went into this restaurant. As expected, the better environment is reflected in higher prices but it's not above what is reasonable (unlike Ricker's Thai restaurants). I've only had pad thai here but I think it's fair to judge most Thai restaurants on this standard. It was a good recipe that hit most of the right notes of excellent pad thai. The noodles had a nice "wok" taste from the high heat of the pan. The flavor palette was well balanced. It wasn't overly sweet like many Thai American pad thai recipes. Portion size was also generous. I will update my review with five stars if I enjoy my future visit as much as I did today.

I was just here and had horrible service. First off, our waiter was very unfriendly and seemed annoyed to be serving us. Second, i only ate half my meal, asked to box it and apparently he didnt box it fast enough and someone threw it away. So got only half my meal, paid full price and no compensation for the mistake. I will not go back here!!!

Happy hour items were not fresh, came out way too quickly. Spring rolls were a greasy mess. Chicken Pad Thai was oily. Salad rolls with peanut sauce weren't bad. Not a great experience, won't go back.

This place is simply amazing! Every Time we come here the food is fresh and yummy, one of the best curry I have ever had. And let's not talk about the clam chowder :) this place is awesome and hidden away and I will keep coming back!

I ordered an appetizer (the crazy shrimp) and it didn't have a good flavor, mostly just lime and pepper over mixed greens and boiled shrimp. For dinner I wanted the seafood soup with just chicken broth instead of it added to tom yum or tom khar (sp?) and they charged me extra for just a clear broth. The seafood was also over cooked entirely. I initially found this place because I was looking for a place to eat while at home and saw a yelp deal for $10 off dinner however you can't see the fine print until you check in and you can't check in until you are in close proximity. When I handed it to them when checking out, they said it only applied to tabs of $40 or more. It makes sense but that should be disclosed prior when reviewing the deal, not when arriving. I wouldn't have cared as much not receiving the deal but with the food tasting bad and being over cooked, it bothered me more than normal.

Five stars for happy hour! We got there at 5:35 on a Friday and grabbed the last empty table. The drinks were strong and regular sized, while the happy hour menu was plentiful. A good sized portion of Chicken Pad Thai for $6 (not my favorite but still very good), REALLY tasty Tropical Fried Rice, and excellent salad rolls were had...can't wait to go back and try the rest! Excellent service by the female bartender, too!

We first went to Siam Lotus earlier this year when Mio Sushi in the round was closed for remodeling. We were thrilled to learn that Lek (previous owner of Siam Thai at 185th and West Union) owned the restaurant and it was no surprise that the food was outstanding! We've been back a number of times, but I'm just now getting around to writing a review. I had the cinnamon duck dish based on what my wife read of the reviews and what Lek suggested and it was the best duck I've ever had. My wife's dish was also fantastic but I don't recall the name. We've tried every Thai restaurant in the area over the years and now we don't bother going anywhere else. They have a great combination of swanky environment (particularly for Beaverton), really nice staff with a warm, friendly attitude like we've found in Thailand, and of course excellent food. Many restaurants do one or two things well, but Siam Lotus seems to do everything well and they're very kid friendly. We've only eaten here 5 or 7 times since they've been open (about a year) but I think it's one of those places where every meal is a great experience.

I love the atmosphere. The bartender was very nice and helpful. She let me taste the lyhee which I had no idea what it was. It was puree in a drink I was interested in. The chicken pad Thai was good.

First visit was very good, second visit was excellent. Staff is friendly and attentive. Restaurant is very clean and decorated to be welcoming and soothing. The menu is diverse with items for every pallet. My son does not have left overs but my husband, mom and I sure do. Two meals for the price of one; speaking of prices, very reasonable with meals starting around $14. While my son has requested that this be were we go for his birthday next month, I think we may need to get back there at least once more before the end of June. :-) Important note- I have food allergies and the owner and staff talked with me to be sure I knew what would work for me. Save me a table I think we may become regulars!

Amazing!! If you are looking for great, authentic Thai food, this place is for you! We tried a variety of happy hour, regular menu and desserts and they all left us blown away!! The desserts are handmade and from recipes handed down from generation to generation! The atmosphere is casual, yet elegant. Great for families, large parties, a date night, or casual happy hour after work. The staff was very attentive, knowledgeable and nice. Needless to say, we will be back soon!!

Awesome food. Bangkok beef. Musman curry. The red lotus was a very good drink to start the night off. Very good restaurant added to the beaverton round. Much needed. We will be back here! Thank you Ann!

We went there for a late dinner. All the other Thai places advertised that they closed at nine. Siam lotus it's open until nine thirty! Let's go there! We arrive shortly after nine, and they inform us that they are closed. They were very rude. The signs on the door say nine thirty also. Do not eat here, these people are rude and mean.

I'm so happy! We found our new favorite Thai restaurant. The food is amazing. I can't tell you how long I've been searching for a truly excellent Pad Kee Mao. It was so delicious. Whenever we go out to eat I bring a to go container home, but I ate every single bite. You can definitely tell they have chefs from Thailand and from Typhoon. The ambiance was lovely. It made for a wonderful date night. Much much nicer than your average Thai restaurant. My husband loved how much space we had... lots of large and comfortable booths. The service was top-notch. I am so looking forward to going back. There's so many things I want to try.

Food was great, service was mediocre, great location, and best of all my son loved the fish tank. Not a lot of draft beer options on tap, IPA and Hefeweizen, but did offer a full bar. My husband and I ordered appetizers and two dinner entrees and both left not feeling full and satisfied. The two entrees were delicious but felt mine, the golden cashew wok fry, was the size of a lunch portion. We will be going again

The food was delicious, we had pot stickers, curry and a traditional thai chicken dish. We will be back!

We are terribly disappointed with the food here. We brought a couple of friends for dinner here after reading the reviews and it was a lower end of spectrum for us. Everything we ordered came out to be terribly sweet !! After a while my tongue was saturated with sweetness that I could not taste any other flavor.big thumbs down. Much better thai places around town than this one. The waiter kept pushing us to order entrees every 5 mins after he served us with appetizers Big let down and Sunday evening wasted !!

Great food, fantastic service. The staff is friendly, quick, and they go above and beyond for their patrons. I ordered my meal to go and sat outside for a few minutes since it was nice out and I had some time before needing to go back to work. One of the staff members came outside with a cup of water for me, completely unprompted. The pad thai and yellow curry are both delicious.

I usually prefer hole in the wall restaurants when it comes to authentic Thai food. That being said, I was pleasantly impressed by Siam Lotus. The atmosphere was trendy but still intimate. The service was excellent! Our waitress was very attentive throughout our dinner. The green curry with chicken was savory. Perfect place to bring a date.

I just heard about the tom yum soup so I thought how can an ordinary thai soup be extraordinary. It was good... and the caramelized chicken. My next best surprise is the miang kum shooter. Must try it...so unique and perfect one bite. Simply a unique and top quality thai food. Best of all right in beaverton

Probably the worst thai food I've ever had :(. It was overly salty. My husband got the basil stir fry which tasted like bad Chinese food. I got the green curry with beef and rice noodles. It was just a salty fast food version of a curry. The beef was obviously poor quality, It also tasted like it had MSG in it. The highlight was the red lotus cocktail which was nice and strong! With thai bloom right around the corner and 5 times as delicious there is no reason to ever go here unless you want to get a buzz and msg headache.

We got take out. Customer service: Guy on the phone was good. Said it would be ready in 15 (Wednesday night at 6:45 it was dead in there). It was ready to go when we got there. The guy at the register ready back what we ordered to confirm it. 4 stars. Basil Crab Rangoon: I know that take out can decrease the quality. I know a lot of places will "tent" the box so that steam doesn't make them soggy. I saw a tented box in the bag and assumed it was this. It was the rice. Why that was tented and these weren't, I will not understand. I expected them to be a bit soggy. When I picked one up it was cold and the texture told me that it had never been crispy to begin with. Popping them in the oven didn't help much. The basil was non- existent. There was barely any crab (one or two rice sized pieces in each). We did get 8 instead of 6, but it was a total waste of money ($7.50) for being limp puff pastry full of cream cheese. 1 star. Honey Crispy Chicken: Chicken was really dry. There was barely enough sauce to get a little on each piece. My fiance says that maybe the sauce just soaked into the chicken while it was cooking, which is possible. The flavor was REALLY good, though. 4 stars. Tom Kha Soup: This is one of our stand bys. This was really good. Soup was still really hot when we got home. Flavor was amazing (and this is coming from someone who can't stand cilantro). 4 stars. The "basil crab" rangoon really ruined the whole experience.

The food was great. I ordered the shrimp asparagus salad, and it was delicious with the peanut sauce. I also ordered the tom yum soup and it was best I've ever had. The server was very personable and did a great job on recommendations. I requested for an off the menu, fresh baby coconut juice and was more than accommodating. The presentations were great as well. I loved the finishing touches on garnishments of cilantros, limes, carrots, and lettuce leaves.

Great place, amazing food. Great service, wonderful atmosphere. The owner makes you feel very welcomed. We had drinks with Thai tinge, and they also were very good. Princess curry, hot basil rice, and the sampler appetizer dish.

Yum!!!!! I love real thai, the kind with unique dishes and real spices. The clam chowder is my favorite, ever. I love all of their wide rice noodle dishes, especially the one with the ground meat and egg on top. I dream about it... This is my favorite thai on the west side.

Stopped in to check them out during happy hour. The food and service were excellent. The happy hour menu had a nice variety (we tried 6 different items). Their regular menu sounded really good as well. There are several dishes I want to come back and try. We finished off the meal with Snow Angel - sticky rice topped with homemade ice cream. I will definitely be back.

Awful!! Crab pad Thai with zero flavor. The crab substitute or whatever it was had breading on it? The Pannang Curry had no flavor and the chicken was overcooked. So disappointed!!!

Siam Lotus is a nice improvement over the previous Thai restaurant at this location, and above some of the other nearby Thai places. I have eaten here 3 times and it's always been great tasting. The Holy Basil Fried Rice is yummy and has that "seasoned" flavor from the wok. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I arrived well before the dinner hour but was able to order anyway (check the hours before you go). The decor is a little classy with white napkins and low lights. The bar looks well stocked and I must return for the Happy Hour sometime. Takeout comes in an "ecosource" box, nice touch. Prices seem a bit high but comes with the location and the quality. Very recommended.

This place has the best tofu!!! Seriously, it's so good. Their curry is also quite delicious... So rich, yummy, and cozy. We love going here because it's steps from the beaverton central max stop, delicious with healthy portions, and reasonably priced. Their kitchen is also super quick - which I absolutely love when I show up starving!
