Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

Pizza seems to be a very emotional issue for the people of the Pacific Northwest and I'm here to tell you a lot of people need to check themselves. I have lived in New York City and Portland. The best pizza I've ever had was in Las Vegas. Is there better Pizza on the whole in NYC than in PDX? Yes. Is there some magic balding-old-Italian-man-in-a-Yankee-hat recipe that is impossible to replicate on the West Coast? That's what we call bunk, mate. Well, okay, that's what I call it. Yelp will probably take down my review if I write what New Yorkers would actually call it. The other advantage that the tri-state area has over PDX in terms of pizza of course is the sheer friggin' volume of pizza places. I'm guessing that it's something like ludicrous like 1:50. If someone actually looks that up I'll post the real number, but that's what it feels like. And guess what? Pizzacato would rank on the higher end of those places. Definitely not a five-star pizza, but very, very good. I'd eat this pizza over Pizza Schmizza anyday, but I'd also eat it over a great many east-coast pizzerias. Okay, it's also worth mentioning how delicious their take on breadsticks were. There, I've mentioned it. Inside this is a pretty typical grab-a-slice-and-sit-down-pizzeria setting. I might prefer to take out. Keep your chin up, Pizzacato. You have the right idea.

We enjoyed awesome food from Pizzacato last night, more importantly we had an amazing experience. We are a local business and hold a few meetings and fun events each month with anywhere from 10 - 120 people in attendance. We have been alternating between a different pizza place, a Mexican place and a well known Caterer for these events. A few of our staff received some exceptional service at the new Pizzacato so our Event Planner decided to put them to the test. She was blown away! They made her try the Gluten free pizza, and when she mentioned our vegan eaters, they created something that was not on their menu, by going to New Seasons and purchasing additional ingredients. They incorporated the cost of these ingredients into their regular prices. What a gesture to go above and beyond by offering the accommodation! Our order was for thirty (30) 16 inch pizzas (at least 10 different types) and 3 different types of salad. When placing this size order most places discourage special requests or make mistakes. Not this place, they invented new pizza's especially for us! The order arrived correct and 10 minutes ahead of schedule. Throughout the entire process the staff and manager were amazing, friendly, and super helpful. We appreciate them and look forward to a long future of eating lots of their exceptionally yummy food and experiencing their amazing customer service!

I've eaten here few times and staff has always been friendly and order arrives promptly - scorching hot and fresh. I love the thin crust and price of $3-$4 is fair as I get full from one slice. It's open till 8 pm so when I had no dinner at work and get off late it's convenient stop for me. I also enjoy having choice between vegetarian and meat toppings but don't need to sacrifice flavor or volume, and have monthly specials on menu.

Expensive pizza, small overpriced salads, and a sandwich which was complete false advertising at its finest. They had this little advertisement for the sandwich which makes it look like some strait up real pulled pork sandwich with a bunch of coleslaw on it. However in reality it's like something off of Wendy's dollar menu, but wait it comes with a tiny salad that they will say yeah we put Italian dressing on it. However they served me a baguette slider and some salad with no dressing. So don't even order the sandwiches "such a joke".Pay 3.75 for a small slice of pizza. Honestly the pizza is not that great even if it was more reasonably priced. The beer selection is decent this is why they get 2 stars. But food wise 2 stars is pushing it. This place must have been awesome 10 years ago before there were so many other better dining options in the area. But I think you should go just to see the value of price you will get. If you have money to burn and a small appetite then this is the place for you.

Pizza was hot and delicious! Staff was very friendly and talked with us, giving us out-of-towners some tips and ideas on where to visit while we were in Portland. Love Pizzicato! We'll be back again!
