Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

The pizza is what you'd expect from a place like this. Slightly greasy, adequate amount of toppings, and satisfies a pizza craving without hurting your wallet too badly. What really saves this place is the staff and restaurant itself. There are lots of cool, funny, and interesting things written on the ceilings. There are tables with dolls in the glasstop. The people are always friendly, and it doesn't take long for your pizza to be ready. The music is great too! I would definitely suggest eating in rather than taking out because I think Pizza Schmizza is more of an experience than just a regular pizza joint.

I used to think of the Cedar Hills Pizza Schmizza as a 4-star rating, but they recently remodeled and it has quite a different vibe now. Prior to the remodel it was a very kid-friendly place and I had been taking my kids there 2-3 times per month for the past several years. One TV always had sports and the other was always on the Cartoon Network, so there was something for everyone (except the documentary crowd, I suppose). Recently, this location seems to have gotten a liquor license and now the place looks like a sports pub. The food counter is now the bar, which is lined with 4 TVs all tuned to sports. The family-friendly booths have mostly been replaced with non-kid-friendly two-person bar tables. The decor is not as whimsical and playful as before, although the avian and insect kites still adorn the ceiling, and the whole vibe seems different. I miss the old, family-friendly Cedar Hills Schmizza! The food is still good. My kids and I enjoy the pizza and the pasta, but I have a feeling that the kids are no longer as welcome as they used to be.

This is a fun spot to grab a slice, It's also conveniently located for me. And its cheep. Slices are just two bucks if you check in with yelp. OK to the point, The food is three star, a-ok but nothing that special. The cheese slices are garlicky that is a plus. The service here is great. That and the decor bring it up to a 4 stars for me. I mean there are kites hanging off the ceiling! Lots of TV's broadcasting games. There is a sign saying to come here to watch the Timbers. they also serve beer if thats your thing.

Awesome place for pizza in Cedarhills! Serve pizza, salads & pasta! Yum! I don't drink alcohol, but looks like they have a bar too. TVs every where to keep current on the news and sport scores. Just a reminder, this is not a fast food place, so if you want pizza fast, there is always that new place a few doors down. I didn't do 5-stars because the "cashier/server" guy served our order to another table, and forgot the garlic bread with 2 sauces. When we reminded him of the garlic bread, he brought only one sauce, when I paid for 2. And, I didn't get a copy of my receipt either time. But left him a nice tip. This place is super busy on a Friday night in June, the 3rd worker left before 9pm. It was a Full house, full of customers with one cook and one server. I would have also experienced Alzheimer's trying to juggle the cash register, taking the orders to the back, remembering who bought what, attending the dirty bathroom, cleaning tables, smile when tired, bar tending, etc. Dude, I don't think they get paid to be Jacks of all trades, even if the clientele demands it.

I love love love this pizza schmizza. Every time I go I get the best pizza at such a great price. I've never had a bad experience here and think the employees are hilarious BUT today when I went in one of the employees I think his name was Adam or Andy or something and he probably took 30 minutes just to ring up my order because he would NOT stop talking about how terrible his life was and how much he hated as his job, as he is at his job! He was so obnoxious and would not stop talking, and if I didn't love this location so much, I probably wouldn't come back. I know the other workers there aren't like this at all so I'm so confused why there is this crazy guy working here.

On Friday's you can get a 1 topping Large Pizza for 10 bucks! Awesome deal and you can also get 1 dollar PBR every day. Craving yummy pizza and a great atmosphere for a good value this Pizza Schmizza is it. Remember, not all have the same specials so this one I found has the best deals.

I've only picked up pizza here but seems like a cool place - TVs with sports playing (probably a good place to catch some football games while getting your grub on), bar with beers and cocktails (it's five o'clock somewhere in the world, right?), and decent pizza with even more decent prices!

I dig Schmizza. They've got great prices on combo deals. A slice of pizza and their greek salad is one of my favorite workday lunches. With a soda, it's only $6.95. Their daily happy hour specials really can't be beat - $2 slices and $1 beers?! Yeeeah. I'm usually not a huge crust fan, but I love theirs - it's actually got flavor. Friendly staff at this location, fast service, and clean dining room. No complaints!

It's really good pizza for a great price. You should stick the to average pep or cheese and try to stay away form anything exi it like chicken BBQ pizza.

Hands down, the BEST slice of pizza I've ever eaten. Ever. It was hot. The cheese was melty. The pepperoni was perfect. I seriously can't believe how good it was!! Very impressed...this location is the 2nd one I've been to, and it blows the other one off the map.

  • Bobby D.

I liked this location a little better than the evergreen one. The atmosphere is more than a little interesting with tools and other items hanging from the ceiling. The service is still slow, but the staff are really nice and helpful. I've been to this location a bunch of times and they always seem to run out of the slices that i really want to try. I usually wait for them to cook up more. Sometimes it's really worth the wait. They do get really busy around lunch time. When you do get your slices, they are always consistently good especially the thai one which is my favorite. Although they have their own parking area in a small parking lot, i've always had to park somewhere else (large mall parking lot across the road). I will definitely go back to this location and try to get there when they just open!

  • Lemonleen C.

I give it two stars because you don't really get a full slice of pizza. The topping covers slightly more than half the slice and the rest is doughy boredom. This is the case every time I've been there, so it can't be just a random bad pie. I'll drive the extra miles for a Pizzicato slice.

  • Mick S.

Not bad. Extreme Pizza, it ain't. But if I'm grading on a curve, the funky atmosphere makes up for what it lacks in original taste and quality. Cheap beer too!

  • Wolf L.

I have my lunchtimes covered for sushi, Mexican, Thai and burgers. I'm still searching for really good pizza in Beaver Town. Pizza Schmizza isn't too bad. They have good lunch deals. Toppings are decent and they have a good selection of condiments. My rating is hovering between 3 and 4. Oh, hell, I'll give 'em the 4. I'll certainly be revisiting this place during my 45 minutes of allotted lunchtime.

  • Ana B.

They had Sriracha and Garlic Shakers! Two things I always want on my pizza but are rarely offered at your local pizza place. They also had a bunch of other hot sauces and condiments. Also normally when you get pizza by the slice you only get a few boring options but they actually had a lot of cool stuff to choose from.Good lookn' out pizza schmizza. The pizza as really good, and well priced. $1 beers! Cheap Combos. I got #2 combo ($5.99?). I got a slice of (you can pick from a bunch of kinds) EXTREME veggie which lived up to it's name. It was extremely covered in all kinds of veggies. A Caesar salad and a drink. Service was friendly. quick and fast.

Pizza was way too greasy for me. Dough was thick and too chewy.

The pizza here isn't half bad. It's not ultra fancy but it's better then other pizza chains. And they have cherry iceys, which I really enjoy! They also have a variety of tasty sodas like bubble up, big red and green river. We had the Italian sausage, Canadian bacon and cold tomato pizza. We enjoyed it very much. The Italian sausage was in little crumbled nibblets. Also they offer 5 different vegetarian pizzas (including the Popeye and Olive Oil) that are pretty sweet. They also have pastas, salads, breadsticks and some killer unusual pizzas like nacho pizza, burrito pizza, spaghetti and meatball pizza, steak and potato pizza and Cajun alligator pizza. Our favorite pizza place so far.

The one star was not because of the pizza. I have never had there pizza before and it was really good! I ordered online and was given a time it would be ready. They didn't deliver and I didn't mind picking up. It was an estimated 35 minutes, so I showed up right on time. I had to wait 15 minutes longer than the estimated time which kind of irritated me. The pizza is REALLY out of my price range but I splurged anyways. I asked for extra cheese which cost me $2.00. When I got home there was no extra cheese, unless they sprinkled like 5 extra shavings and charged $2.00 for that. The assistant manager I'm assuming was flirting the whole time with three guys and gave them a free pizza which I thought was totally unprofessional. There were 6 people working at the time and there wasn't many people in there ordering, so I am unsure of why it took them 45 minutes to make a pizza when I was picking up. And I can't even complain to a manager or tell the franchise owner because they don't have a complaint/comment form on their website. So next time i am in the mood for over priced pizza....I will probably go to a different location and call in my order so they remember the extra cheese that I am PAYING FOR.

Half off slices during happy hour? $1 pbr pints? Sure why not! I came away happy with my experience. Yummy!

I normally don't mind Schmizza, though a lot of people complain about them. I now agree & am not a big fan of your pizza anymore. Maybe it's by location but the crust needs work, not tasty. Actually tastes a day old/ not fresh. Work on the crust!
