First off, I absolutely LOVE fro-yo. I could eat it all day long. I went to Mango Tango and had the cheesecake and chocolate fro-yo with strawberries, raspberries, cookie dough, chocolate brownie, and gummie bears. First off, the cheesecake flavor was mediocre. It had a subtle hint of what a cheesecake would taste like, but I just didn't care for it. The Chocolate flavor was NASTY I took maybe three bites and had to spit it out. As for my toppings: The strawberries were fresh and delicious. The raspberries were okay. The gummie bears were also yummu The chocolate brownie was dense and had a good flavor. And the "cookie dough" was NASTY! It had some sort of powdered coating, and when you bite into it it's grainy. Like you're chewing on sugar. Needless to say, I could not finish my cup. I had to spit some out because I couldn't even swallow it. In my opinion, if you're getting fro-yo, go to Bridgeport and hit up Yogurtland. They have TONS of flavors that are rich and creamy. And there condiments are fresh and delicious.

I think it's absurd the number of fro yo places that are popping up all over the Portland metro. Where there was once none, there are now two or three. (TCBY will be opening around the corner of Mango Tango soon.) Still, I have yet to find one that rivals Pinkberry. Mango Tango has no sugar-free options. As I'm watching my sugar intake and unhealthy things like this are a very rare treat, it's a disappointment. The marionberry yogurt wasn't bad but chocolate was bland. What is the point of eating something unhealthy if it's bland? I used to feel good about eating Yo Cream, supporting local and all, until they were bought out by a French company, Danone. And as much as I love France, it still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. There isn't much variety and Mango Tango, fro-yo-wise. There's a long buffet of toppings, but there was something uninviting about it... There were no colors of fresh berries or fruit popping out. If you want the run-of-the-mill fro yo, you can stop here for what you're looking for----or practically any of these new fro yo places. But if you want a special treat, save your 40 cents an ounce and your health by going elsewhere.

The yogurt is good, but there isn't too much variety of flavors- I like it when they change a couple every time I come in. The topping selection is really good, any place that has cookie dough to put on top is a good yogurt place. Just don't get the cheesecake, it does not taste good. I'm just lucky this place is so close to where I live, I can get my yogurt fix any time I want.

Love this spot! So glad that its locally owned, with locally made frozen yogurt. Always clean, friendly staff.

I enjoy coming to this lil spot. Maybe I'm not that experienced in the world of fro yo, but this place has never disappointed me. I enjoy the little deals they have each day. I'm not sure what's current, but I've gone when they have: free waffle cone days, happy hour, guess the weight, free sauce day & a punch card that quickly accumulates. Every once in awhile they have a spinning wheel for prizes & a face painter. They keep up with their FB page, letting those that follow them know what's happening. We go maybe once every 2 weeks, for a treat for my daughter after the gym. I've never seen flavors run out & the staff is friendly. Give em a try! Support local!

I stopped here on an impulse and I was not expecting much considering the throng of eh froyo places throughout the area which are nothing special. First of all they have country vanilla and chocolate - you would surprised at how many places always seem to have broken down the two basic flavors. Second - topping selection is most excellent and laid out so that you can actually reach them with no effort. Seems simple but other places make it very challenging. I personally just want Oreo crumbs...which I got a ton of. Third - cup dividers....what??! I can have my chocolate and vanilla not touch each other?? YES! Fourth...punch card...and I got two stamps for grabbing a pint to go. Knowing this is on my drive home is a good and very bad thing...

Really good fro-yo. I am dairy free and they always have a couple of sorbet flavors. I especially like the mango sorbet.

  • Katie H.

Lots of toppings, great yogurt, and very friendly staff. they always have a deal going like double stamp Monday or guess the weight of your yogurt to get a free one on Friday. They also stay open late and the place is always clean! Highly recommend.

I'm not a very picky man when it comes to certain things, fortunately FroYo is one of them. I appreciate the cleanliness of the store and the wide variety of toppings and sauces. I love that the cherries have no stems, because I find FroYo as a vessel for eating maraschino cherries. It covers all the bases, and no one makes their own FroYo, so they don't have to compete with some hippy dippy farm to mechanical udder store. Here is what annoys me. Well, on top of the fact that their Website has no feedback link, so I must air my grievances out in public. Why would you have a place called Mango Tango, that does not carry Mango Tango flavored yogurt. It would be like if Hot Dog on a Stick did not have Hot Dog on a Stick. Or if Taco Del Mar didn't have fish tacos. it's egregious, preposterous, outrageous. You have no idea how much it annoys me to go to places where I have to take the stems off of Cherries. Please please leave Mango Tango as a regular flavor. I mean who eats Vanilla anyway.

Mango tango doesn't have very many flavors to begin with so it's really disappointing when half of them are broken or just empty.. My biggest gripe though, is the business card taped over the digital display scale weight... I want to see that the weight started at zero before my yogurt hit the scale.. I felt like that was a really dishonest move to cover those so I can't...What's up with that?!?!

The kids love Mango Tango. The owner is very nice and does a nice job of supporting local schools and organizations with various fundraisers. From time to time they have a face painter which is a huge bonus for my kids. My kids love the frozen yogurt, although I enjoy Menchies flavors better, the kids prefer Mango Tango as they can watch a movie while they eat. We like supporting local and will keep coming here- it's a fun outing.

Update from my previous review: they no longer do chocolate covered bananas. Definitely a big bummer. When can we expect these back?!?! Also you've perfected tart frozen yogurt, amazing

  • Wendy G.

Flavors are just ok. What really bothered me is that there isn't separate serveware for each topping. So people are using one spoon to get all their toppings, which makes it impossible for people with allergies. And, younger children were just grabbing the toppings with their bare hands. Ick!

  • Dara H.

They must not have the best machines because the fro yo is kindof runny sometimes. But they have good flavored and definitely the best toppings! They have all these fresh fruit purées and often local fresh fruit to choose from. And they have the punch cards!

  • Ana M.

Everytime I buy fro yo I always get half vanilla and half chocolate with a little bit of something else on top. A ton of topping choices and I like that I can guess how much my fro yo weighs except I'm awful at estimation. All in all good yogurt and exceptional service.

Great flavors and excellent prices. We love this place! My kids can get the flavors and toppings they want without breaking bank.

The place is in plain view of the Murray/Scholl's Ferry intersection, but takes a little detour to get to. It's a small, clean place with a friendly staff. The yogurt here is fairly priced, but they have daily specials and a happy hour that makes their prices very competitive. There is about a dozen or so varieties and dozens of toppings (although mostly of the sugary variety). They have little cups where you can get free samples of each flavor.

Definitely not on par with 16 Handles or Pink Berry. It was ok. I would go again if I'm craving yogurt but not because I'm actually craving the yogurt at Mango Tango.

Great frozen yogurt. Always people there. Plenty of good flavors and toppings to choose from.

This is an embarrassing attempt at a self-serve froyo store. There was one small family there when my friend and I walked in. No greeting or even acknowledgment from the "staff". I was not even convinced they worked there because there was a guy, who looked like he just got out of the gym, who was leaning over, on his cell phone, and drinking his root beer. The other girl was just as oblivious of our presence as she would not even look up until we walked past. As it was my first time here, it was not a good start. It gets worse. Besides the floor and all the handles being sticky, at least 3 of the flavors were completely OUT! How the heck are you out of the Original?! Either refill the hoppers or put up a sign saying they are out of order! I got tired of pulling the handles and nothing coming out so I assume there were more than 3 flavors that were out that night..And what's up with certain toppings being pre-portioned out in cups? Isn't this self serve where I can put as little or as much as I want? Fail fail fail. Needless to say, we walked out of there as quickly as possible. Oh and we saw some mother push sprinkles off the counter BACK into the container with her bare hands after her daughter decided to have a sprinkle explosion party with her cup. Yay for cleanliness...not. tl;dr - don't go. just go pour milk into an ice tray at home and you'll have a better frozen treat.

Frozen soft-serve yogurt priced simply by weight with a multitudinous array of toppings to please even the craziest palate. Great for kids. Bright & cheery atmosphere, friendly staff.

It's another do-your-own yogurt place. They ran out of the original tart, which made my roommate sad. I just got vanilla and topped it with a few toppings. Nothing special...just yogurt.

My family and I have visited Mango Tango a handful of times. The store itself is in a great location, the yogurt and toppings are good, the price is good, they have family-friendly shows on for the kids, and the place is always clean. The problem is the employees. During my last visit, both employees were eating dinner in the dining area for guests. I have a hard time imagining that employees are allowed to eat out front, and if they are it's a practice I would seriously consider revisiting. Furthermore, the one employee who was working was constantly on her phone. This isn't the first time I've seen this happen. It should be noted that they are very friendly, and they always welcome those who arrive. However, checking a phone, texting, etc. essentially removes all feelings of friendliness, and leaves the customer feeling unimportant.

I think this place is just ok. They don't even have their own cups: they just stick a sticker of their logo on the cup. The frozen yogurt is alright, topping selection is ok, but it's just not the place I want to go for froyo...

This place is very close to where I live, so decided to check it out. its okay. nothing can beat yogurtland!! i wish there was a yogurtland this close. I was satisfied with the yogurts I tried - chocolate and cake batter.

The yogurt is alright, it certainly tastes like yogurt, though a little more flavor to it would be nice. I got cake batter (which could have traded more like cake) and salted caramel (which tasted really good) with boba (three different flavors, though a bit tougher to break open than I'm used to) and cheesecake bites (very soft, a bit too soft for cheesecake). Would I come here again? Only if I'm at the nearby library and have a craving for froyo like I did today.

I'm a fan of all things frozen yogurt. I've tried many different shops. The main pull for me with Mango Tango is that they carry YoCream, a Portland-based yogurt brand. I'm don't usually care about the locality of my food, but I love this yogurt, and that it is hometown. Mango Tango is a small shop, with possibly not enough dispensers, but I always see people there so I hope they get better and bigger. And I'm very disappointed that someone mentioned a TCBY going in the same area. They are the McDonald's of fro-yo. I will continue to support Mango Tango and YoCream!

The prices are decent if you have self control. I love being able to mix my own yogurts and they have a ton of toppings to choose from including cut fruit

Great selections and toppings! Better than the mall froyo.

I loveee peachwave and tried this place out, it wasn't too expensive for mine but when my friend got a milkshake it was ELEVEN DOLLARS. I thought it was cool they had a shake machine for the froyo and I guess we should have thought about how the charge was per ounce but I figured it wouldn't be as much for a "milkshake"! Another funny incident was that the mint was labeled "St Patrick's Mint" and I made a comment on how weird that was in December, and that the places I used to go would label it St Nicks Mint or Peppermint, and my acquaintance who works there mentioned that the next day they had changed the title after hearing my comment to my friend haha. That gives it a two instead of one star rating! The toppings here were also bad...not as much variety and the fruit seems old..

A hit with Bella. Mango Tango is nice and easy to get to from time to time. We must pass by it every other day or so. This is a small Mom and Pop shop, well, Mom at least. I like the local family idea allowing entrepreneurs to grow a business. I will support this locally owned Beaverton shop over the other non-local shops. Okay, maybe not as fancy as a corporate downtown place with huge foot traffic. This establishment is nice and clean with a good selection of frozen yogurt and toppings. Bella just loves the place and the yogurt. Please give this place a try and support you local businesses.

This is the best froyo place I've been to. Everything is always fresh, never any stale toppings and delicious yogurt selection. And even though I'm in my 20's i really enjoy the Disney movies that are always on the tv. :)) I love you Mango Tango.

I'm not sure why there's a sudden FroYo craze going around the West Side, but there is and I am enjoying it. I tried the chocolate and the mango (not together) and topped with my standards of crushed oreos and sprinkles. Perhaps I'll get wild on the next visit. Both were sweet and creamy and hit the spot on a warm (well, 52 degrees is warm for me) day. Slightly expensive but they did move into a more upscale neighborhood so I'll assume they were pricing for that.

This place is awesome. I'm in here at least once a week, and in hot weather like this, almost nightly. Good flavors, a great assortment of toppings. Only bad thing is that they sometimes change flavors I get really attached to, like Red Velvet.

A good self-service set-up. It serves YOcream which is the stuff they serve at burgerville for their smoothies. It's a decent frozen yogurt- not quite as refreshing and tangy as pink berry/ peach wave style. It's good for ones who like a more creamy frozen yogurt. The wild berry and mango were my favorite flavors. The tangy original was a little watery- and I have tried many tangy original flavors as I am a fan of tangy delicious yogurts.
