High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for High Cholesterol

Cut down on your meat intake to control your high cholesterol. You must skip Double Meat Whataburger and Triple Meat Whataburger at all costs. Whopper Jr. Extra onions and no tomatoes for a buck how can a person go wrong. It beats a McDonalds and Carls Jr hamburger hands down. Best yet is ordering a Whopper Jr. The cashier tone of voice is ( is he for real all he wants is a $1 Whopper Jr.) Of course they try to sell up. Would you like cheese with that? "no". Would you like a drink or French fries (otherwise known as American Fries for you Tea Party people) "no" I don't want that either. After a long pause, that will be $1. I happily give the cashier a hand full of change, which they toss into the drawer without even counting while giving me (why are you wasting my time with this) stare. I happily take my Whooper Jr. I'm not sure if it is the reaction or the burger I enjoy more. Best yet this place is open 24 hours a day. It also has free WiFi, who would have thought.

Been to this location a few time in the last 5months using the drive-thru. Simple order for a Tendercrisp Chicken sandwich with cheese and bacon, get multiple replies of "tendergrill" or "huh" from their order taker (as I believe is their 40year old graveyard shiftlead). Pull up to the window to pay, waited 10-minutes for the guy to open te window and we don't recieve a reciept for it (we looked in the bag, our cash pockets, and even asked him to reprint one). While we await our food to be freshly cooked, we notice him cleaning the drive thru soda machine and floor surrounding it with hot sanitized water, to then proceed scratch his head before placing our order in the bag. When we fought it up to him, he denied scratching his head before handling te order, implied it was only hot water in the bucket used to clean the floor near the drive thru, and be-little me on the BK practices of handwashing after 1)touching the face/hair, 2)refusing to rewash his hands after scrubbing te floor with a red towel, 3)refusal to reprint the most current receipt for our order. Honestly I would think the franchisee and management staff don't care about keeping up to code with OHSA, health/food practices, and SafeServe regulations. I think I'll traverse to the local Hillsboro location 2-miles away from this one.

I like BK. But this one often smells of cleaning supplies, making for an unpleasant dining experience. Therefore I avoid unless desperate. Close to JitB, Carl's, and McD's, so lots of options.

Clean, friendly, and fast... decided to walk in instead of he typical drive-thru this time. Scored a sweet deal by just talking and asking. 10% off on a bulk order of chicken fries just for asking and chatting. Woot!!

Wednesday September 2nd, 2015 @ approx 8:15pm I had my worst experience at BK (or any restaurant) EVER! Young man at the drive thru didn't properly greet us then I said is it okay if I use 2 coupons for 2 different items? He YELLED "I don't care how many coupons you use!" He kept getting order wrong and kept yelling "is that all!?" He then YELLED "HOLD ON, I'M TRYING TO CONCENTRATE ON SOMETHING ELSE!" Then at window he didn't know what a E gift card was and yelled again "I don't know what the hell this is!" Throwing it at the manager on duty who was also very rude, yelling "what is this!?" Then when I told the manager it was a E gift card he threw his hands up and turned away before I could even explain he had to enter it manually. He then took our bag of food on his right and slammed it on the counter to his left. Then they forgot two of our items and didn't even ask if we wanted sauces for chicken nuggets & fries and we didn't feel like asking in fear of their response. Worst experience with "customer service" anywhere, even stores, banks, etc, etc...these guys were more rude than debt collectors! So upset!!

Gross. I ordered a breakfast combo then headed to the rest room to clean up. Looked around and thought to myself - this bathroom is way too filthy for 7:30 in the morning. Looked to me that it hadn't been cleaned until sometime the day before. After washing my hands, I'm greeted with an empty towel machine. Left bathroom with wet hands (I'm one of those freaks who will not touch fixtures or door handles in a bathroom without a paper towel), and told who should be a late fifties yr old responsible woman that the paper towels are out. With out a word she disappears to the back and returns with a couple torn off towels and hands them over the counter to me. Decided, if this is how they treat their bathrooms, I don't want to have anything to do with their food anymore. No thanks, I'll take a refund. Again, not a word from the 55 year old wonder woman.

What can a person really write about Burger King? We go through here for Junior Whoppers (we are cheap!) our fair share. We never go inside....we just drive through....so, sorry -- can't comment on the inside, the bathrooms, ect. They do have a KIDS play structure inside. That I know. But didn't a child die on that play structure? I think it was a choking thing.

I visited this Burger King once a month or once in two months for the past year or so and have always had pleasant experience. I esp like the play structure inside. I like their smoothies and the coffee is ok. Mostly would go for kids esp in winter, when there isnt much to do outdoors, here is a place my kids have play dates or good for a lunch or snack after shopping at the town center. The staff is professional and the restrooms have always been clean.
