This is more like a 3.5 and if I come here again, I may bump it up. I came here with the sweetheart on a whim. Located just off of Cedar Hills and Canyon Road, on a corner, parking is better on the side, that way you're not potentially backing into the busy Canyon Rd/TV Hwy traffic. This was the first time we were here since the name change. I've always liked the interior and how the bar is pretty much in the middle. The night we were here, there was a very loud female a table away. The place has a way of carrying sound and it wasn't full enough or bustling enough for this female to speak as loudly as she was. She was what made my experience less than satisfactory. Unfortunately, she wasn't belligerent enough to warrant getting the boot. Fortunately, she left before our food arrived so the dining experience wasn't stressful. I don't know how much squeals of excitement and "O-M-G!" I could stomach. The bartender was friendly. Service was prompt. The food menu was simple which works great for this place. It wasn't fancy. It's pretty simple bar fare. I ordered a chicken tender wrap and the sweetheart ordered chicken strips and fries. It was impressively tender and I really enjoyed the wrap. I tend to steer away from wraps because they're a little on the dry side for me but I enjoyed this. All in all, for a night time visit, it was pretty chill.

We went to this place for the first time and we had an awful experience. Each drink took an hour, and half the drinks were forgotten. The food didn't show up till hour and a half later, and another half hour for cold awful food. The bill still has not showed up, after asking twice and waiting an hour. The issue is the lack of staff/helpers. Never going back! Worst experience ever.

I love this place! The food is very tasty, the drinks are good, and the prices are pretty reasonable, especially their daily specials and happy hour. The bartenders are all very friendly and amazing at what they do as well, especially my favorite, Astra! If you are looking for a bar in Beaverton with a good, chill vibe, a decent beer selection, a couple of pool tables, darts, video poker, etc, then this is the place you want to go!

How have I never reviewed the Brickyard??? I know my way around this place pretty damn well. The drinks are great, the food is good, the pool tables and patio are all good times. A few things set Brickyard Tavern apart though. Brickyard like a pro -- here's how: Munchers -- these are tator tots stuffed with cheese and green chiles. Get them, dip in ranch. Really, you're welcome. Sit at the long table that used to be a shuffleboard table from the Monty's days. It's the best people and TV-watching vantage point. Check the daily specials. Deals to be had! In particular, $2.50 mimosas on Saturdays. The carved wooden bar itself is cool. There are a lot of stories, especially from pre-Brickyard days regulars, about where it was made, how it got here, how many are like it and where they are. Everyone is sure they are right. Probably no one is. Sunday mornings, NFL season -- come in for breakfast. The breakfast menu is small, but good. Spanish coffee goes well with it. Except don't sit at the bar, 'cause that's where I want to sit. And finally -- best bartenders around, seriously. Treat them well! They will take good care of you.

This bar is a gem! Patio. Seriously good food and ridiculously cheap during happy hour! And we'll just get this out of the way. The bartenders, are drop dead gorgeous and sassy sweethearts. Love this place. If you want a chill place to watch the game or just hang out. Come here.

Hubby is looking for a venue for a work luncheon. Hall Street Grill wanted a $400 minimum! They did McMenamin's last time. We left Princess behind (no minors) and headed here about 4pm. Its Happy Hour ( its every day till 7). Cheap yummy bar food. Call my cardiologist. We had onion rings, munchers (tater totish with chiles and cheese), a half order fish and chips ($4), and a chicken quesadilla which arrived with salsa and sour cream. Hubby had a $6 lynchburg lemonade. Yummy. I had diet coke ( driving). All the food was delicious, nothing was too greasy, hubby was happy because the onion rings didn't fall apart like they often do. While the menu isn't extensive enough for a big group (vegetarian choices a tad limited), our server was sweet and just perfect, the drink was good, and it has a chill vibe. Also it's bright and pleasant inside. I loved the 80's and 90's music that was playing. Made me happy. This is a great place to hang out for a bit. Patio in back. Parking a bit tricky but doable. Fried food and booze? Yes please. Oh they had salads too. Give it a try.

Okay..been here multiple times since my last review. This place has gone down hill very fast. Last Sunday we walked out because nobody would wait on us after 15 minutes of waiting. There seems to only be the Asian server here on Sunday's now and again today she has zero help. Today we waited 10 minutes and then had to go track down the server, who was also the bartender. Terrible service...lacklustre food...gone way down hill. Think Monties all over again. yuk!!!

I really really like what they have done with this place. I did not enjoy it when it was Billy's. I went in once and was very disappointed. I am so thrilled they opened back up. They took the negative of the last places and made positives and turned this place around. While its' not your dark seedy bar of Monty's, it's not too slick and over superficial like the last inhabitant. The prices are fare and I feel like that really did a good job with the staff and it shouldn't matter where your clientele is coming from if you're getting money! I mean sure there is a limit to that but this place has an all around good feel. Great food and I hear entertainment, but I haven't seen any myself yet. I hope to be able to return during and evening. I have only be in here during the day. I have seen a few regulars from Monty's. I really enjoyed Monty's but time to let that stay in the past. This new place is creating quite the name for itself already.

Dropped in here for a casual sunny Saturday afternoon happy hour. Pleasantly surprised by the back patio and the bar games available. Food was really good at really low prices. Andie our server was upbeat and provided excellent service. We will be back! And with our friends

Brickyard is a fun place to kick back with friends. Interestingly enough, this bar is owned by the same folks who own Front Row in Hillsboro. Their happy hour prices are pretty reasonable for drinks and food, and everything I've had has been good (except the fish and chips - a friend and I both ordered it on two different occasions - do not recommend!). It's clean and comfortable, parking is kinda weird, but there's plenty of spaces across the street. The staff are quick, friendly and fun. I like that they have two dart boards in the back by the pool table, and they have a cute patio area. TVs, pool, darts, munchies and booze in a clean and friendly place - a pretty fantastic combination!

Have been going to this bar for a number of months now and I almost consider myself a regular but not quite yet. The serve staff is awesome. Whether me or a coworker sit outside the whole time or inside they are always coming around asking if we need anything. The munchers are amazing and I always get a Chicken Quesadilla when I am there. Big fan. Dollar Jell-o shot special? Why not. A fun place to hang out or watch sports. It's great. 3 PM happy hour is perfect for Fridays when I am in desperate need to leave work early for the day just to unwind.

First time here, stopped in early afternoon waiting for my car to get new tires. Was surprised how many people were here, there was one Asian girl working as the server and bar tender, she was busy but very nice and came by several times. Ordered a cheeseburger and fries with a microbrew. The beer was tasty and cold and the burger came really fast. Burger looked great with lettuce, tomato, pickles and their secret sauce and cooked just right. The fries were a different story, look like fresh cut but that is where the fresh ended. They were overlooked and soggy, didn't finish them. Overall a good experience, nothing really negative to say.

The BEST Happy Hour. Awesome burgers and cheap food and beer. Has a great look and feel to watch a game, play some pool and have a casual night with some homies.

My husband, mother and I came here to bring in the New Year. We wanted drinks and food, we arrived around 10:45pm. A few tables were open as the restaurant is quite spacious, we got one next to the fireplace. It was lovely! Although it was busy the bartender/waitress came right over and greeted us and took our drink order. She was very attentive, friendly and accommodating to our needs. Although only the happy hour menu is available after 10pm she let us order whatever we wanted from the regular menu as well. We greatly appreciated it as this was our dinner and we were hungry. The food was great, for bar food it was much tastier and satisfying than we expected! Excellent hand-battered chicken and fish tenders, bacon cheeseburger was perfect. Very fun and pleasant experience!

I recently went to this place upon hearing it it from my girlfriends friend husband we were looking for a place to have a beer and finish the night as I got there I found the juke box and wanted to here a song I put 1 dollar for the song and it came on next what I got next I could have never expected the lady at the bar objously not if the same decent as me started to say profanities about my choice of music next the bar tender in oreder to please here regulars turned down the music I had paid for this angered me so I got up and confronted them what came next I have never encountered before in all my life of 34 years in living in beaverton I was told that if I wanted to listen to this type I music I should go back to mexico!! And countinued to tell me racist remarks that I should pay taxes and go somerwere else after being humiliated and belittled I decided to leave whith my party of 4 then and only then did they ask us not to leave but would not tell nothing to the regular that had just attacked me racially why would I want to go back and sit in the same room of people that think that's ok never . I have tried to contact the owner but have heard no reply I guess racial abuse is ok in this establishment and Mexican are not welcomed here so to all Mexicans and Hispanics do not do to this racist bar

It seems as if bar patrons have forgotten why they go to bars. If you want a foodie experience; go to a restaurant. If you want your hand held and your existence applauded; go see a therapist. If, on the other hand, you want to drink, maybe have some greasy food to sop up the alcohol and have a tv or two with sports on to help you forget how much you hate your ex, how much you owe to the IRS and how much you hate your job than, I'll save you a seat cuz the Brickyard Tavern is just the place.

Brickyard is better then the previous tenants of this location by a long shot. It's gone from a seedy tavern that has seen better days to a nice low down family friendly tavern with plenty of TVs to watch the game. Service was friendly and quick, and the hamburger fairly decent - on this side of town downright excellent actually. I will definitely go back again, unlike Billy's where I went once and then promptly forgot about it.

Came back again for another burger. Was just awesome. The beer was ice cold, and the service was great. Cheap happy hour food deals, and very good quality. A real great place to let your hair down. Pool tables, darts, killer sound system. Daily beer and cocktail specials, and the bartenders!!!!! It's a cool place to be yourself....

The worst service I've had from an employee ever. I went in there and asked for the IBU content between two beers and the bartender told me they're not a brewery and that nobody really cares about IBU's anyway. She did so in a snobby I'm better than you tone, so we went to hall street grill for better service.

One of my favorite places to chill. Great environment and patio. Good happy hour and great service. Also has pretty good drink specials.

The best bar in Beaverton! Astra, Lindsey, and Aimee are fantastic bartenders! They always have great drink recommendations, take the time to chat (even when busy), and even have gone out of their way to make sure the soup was meat-free for me. Only downside is the parking, but right across the street is a massive parking lot. :-) highly recommend!

Usually good, not great. Service is pretty good at least 3/4 of the time. Last time I came in the card reader was broken and/or confusing to management. The bartenders are very friendly and seem to care about customers, but some get swamped easier than others. The food is typical bar food, they have 12 beers on tap and the usual suspects in bottle form. Drinks are strong until you've had a few, then become watered down (should be expected in most places anyway). New bartender was followed around by manager (maybe because was new employee), but drinks were slower to get to customers due to chatting by the till.

Showed up for the first time since it was Billy's. Not impressed. Music was too loud. Patrons were obnoxious. Hope you like burgers because the food options beyond that we're pretty limited. We didn't stay.

Love the chicken strips, the breading or whatever is really really yummy. My new favorite!

Wanted to check this place out since they just recently opened. Definitley different from the bar I frequent at in Hillsboro. When you walk in it doesn't seem that big since you see just the bar. But if you walk towards the back, there are two pool tables and few more seating areas. They don't have a big kitchen so the food is mostly burgers and sandwiches. I had the BLT which was pretty good. Can't really mess up a BLT. What I like the most about this place is they heave drink specials everyday. The best one I think is on Fridays.. $4.00 Fireballs. Our bartender Amy was awesome! It was her first day so it was fun to tease her. But she was all smiles and did not mind. I will definitley be back. Especially since I can take the Max and not worry about drinking and driving.

This is one of our regular haunts. We come for the happy hour food, menu is basic but the food is all good and the price is right. The servers are all friendly and attentive. They have done a nice job with the front area, enough tv's to be able to see the game your interested in. Parking is not great, but in a pinch the strip mall across the street is an option.

I just moved here from Seattle and was looking for a neighbor bar to get some good bar food. My boyfriend and I decided to try this and absolutely loved it. The waitress was really nice and even gave us some recommendations for things to do in town. The drinks were well made and food was great. We loved the fried jalapeno cheese balls. Can't wait to go back!

Thoroughly enjoy this place. Good food, great happy hour, friendly staff. Interesting interior and a solid beer menu. Good place to chill on a weekend with a football game or with friends for a drink. Try the mango habanero sauce - it's awesome.

Good atmosphere to watch the game, the bartenders are friendly and the food is good. There is also a pretty good happy hour.

Despite the fairly strong bro-y vibe here, Brickyard Tavern is a huge improvement over Monty's. Where did they hide the fruit flies? Surely one can't eradicate that level of infestation... While I will always miss the POOL*POKER*SHUFFLEBOARD*MUSIC*TV*CHICKEN of Monty's past, I will not miss the odors nor the fruit flies. This bar is ok. It closes earlier than it should, because who stops drinking at 01:00? Really, now. 01:00?!? Sadly, not sorry =/

This place is pretty good. The server was nice enough (once she talked to me) and the beer selections was good enough. We didn't eat, just met for a drink on a Sunday. I will probably go back and give it another shot sometime as it's a place I want to like more.

We went out for my husband's birthday, last Friday & had a great time here. The only negative thing would be that you had to go up to the bar to get any service, otherwise you were completely ignored. The drinks, music & outdoor patio were great, we will be back.

This place is now my spot for drinks when I come to visit my family in Beaverton. The $5 blackberry margaritas are OFF THE HOOK! You have video poker, a pool table, and a really chill vibe here. Happy hour is from 2-7PM and the spicy cheese tater tots are delicious. No need to go all the way into Portland when you have this place to unwind and throw back some cocktails. Don't even THINK about coming here without trying the blackberry margarita!

  • Layla P.

Clean and nice atmosphere. Drinks were cold and as expected. Happy hour burger was well seasoned. Only complaint was the bartender, she obviously thought she was the most important person in the place (maybe she owns it? Like I care), and didn't promote a very warm feeling, good thing the place was busy, the patrons made up for her.

    (3)
  • Nicki V.

Uhh. Music was good. Ambiance was ok. Waitress/bartender was very rushed and didn't make eye contact, however, was polite . Onion rings were over fried and greasy. I'm not sure I would come back.

I went to this bar the first week it opened and was more than impressed! Its so cute and classy decor with awesome daily drink specials. The mango passion is amazing. Corey and Lindsay took such good care of my friends and I. it felt like a nice neighborhood bar that I could come to after work. highly recommend. :D

Tried this place for the 1st time with the misses. As we walked in the bartender greeted us. We then went straight for the patio being that it was a sunny day (5:00pm). We waited 15 for service with no success. I had to go inside to order some draft beer and food. Beer was flat and food was not good (being very nice!). Maybe it was an off night for service and food but I will not be going back.

Sports. Beer. Good food. Friendly service. What more do you want? Can't find all these in one place in Beaverton except here. Dare ya!

I had a great cheeseburger while at this place - meat was seasoned really well and the special sauce was delicious. We had really prompt service and didn't have to wait long for our food. Johnny appleseed cider was crisp and delicious. Only downside was the tables weren't cleaned when we got there so she needed to clean ours before we sat down, and there was only 3 other people in this whole place. Only thing preventing me from giving 5 stars.

  • Alisa S.

Really lovely bar in the heart of Beaverton. Cheap drinks, even not on happy hour ($4 wells). Really missing that pub quiz they had at Billys on Tuesdays. I hope they bring it back!

Some friends and I spent the night having drinks & messing with the jukebox. This place was WAY cleaner than I expected for the location. The bartender was super friendly and helpful. By the end of the night we ordered a few appetizers; they were cheap and about what you would expect for bar food.
