So.Pizza on the west side is a bit fraught with peril. Little mom and pop places open up. You like them. You yelp them. They struggle. They close. Next! In the meantime theres Dominos. Beloved by kids. Tolerated by adults. Sigh. Tonight we thought we would give Bellagios another try despite some bad prior experiences and a longer delivery time. Because artichoke hearts and pesto. (We have high falutin tastes. We can't help ourselves. ) Anyway, can't get those at Dominos. Tried to order online and the final ordering button sent me to server not found. Ugh. Called and the poor guy was yelling with tons of noise behind him. I was not confident. But our large ( which the guy noted were really medium) pizzas and salad showed up 70 minutes later deliverered by a friendly young lady (damn Im old) and they were pretty good. One was BBQ chicken. It comes with bacon and red onions. We skippped the onions (because Princess) and added pineapple. ($1.25 ,we got tons) Same reason. Second ( if you get two the same size they give you couple dollars off) was chicken pesto. Its covered in artichoke hearts with a pesto base. Hold onions, add feta. ( see above for rationale). Both pizzas were properly cooked and tasted good. My former brother in law/houseguest requested salad. Our own lettuce froze again so we ordered a big Caesar. Perfect for three people and dressing was separate which I like. It was decent. We have a whole box of pizza left for dinner tonight. Okay then. Im reinstating a star. 3.99. Just barely a four. Yes yes I should make pizza myself. I have. I can. But working mom here. I have a lot on my plate. So i let Bellagios put pizza on ours. Amen.

The first problem was the plates. My daughter is very finicky about clean plates and these were not very clean. We ordered one gluten free and one other veggie pizza. While these were not horrible, it wasn't anything special either. The normal pizza was OK. My husband said "Not something I'll come back to". My gluten free pizza was very bland. There was no flavor at all. For the price we paid, I was expecting much better.

We went in 45 minutes before close to get take out pizza. The one employee that acknowledged us stated they were closing in less than 15 minutes and they could try and rush our order in time. We were rather looking forward to having Bellagios for the first time in our lives, ended up walking out instead. Evidently they aren't wanting to sell any product.

I only discovered Bellagio's Pizza last year, when my company ordered for a work event. And since then, it's been a back-up to my trusty Pizzicato and Papa Johns. Bellagio's Pizza is spendier than Papa Johns, by far. However, the ingredients are great and you can just tell more care was taken in making and preparing the pizza. I recently ordered the basil chicken pizza and I was reminded just how much I like the pizzas here! I'm so happy they deliver ($2 charge) to my house. It's a tad far so the pizza isn't super hot when it arrives, but it's still delicious.

I am so disappointed. I love Bellagio's pizza and think they have the best pizza around, but it's a Wednesday night and I have been trying to call them for 45 minutes to order a pizza and no one ever answered the phone. There was no message that explained why they were not able to provide service. The phone just range and rang. I finally had to call another pizza place to get my family fed tonight. It was a crazy, busy day. I shouldn't have had to waste 45 minutes just trying to connect with them on the phone.

Great place for pizza take out. Their pizza is always made to order, use fresh ingredients and dough isn't too hard or greasy. Always soft, chewy and pillowly. My favorite is the greek pizza. I also love the many veggie combo pizzas they have.

For what it's worth, Bellagio's is pretty darn good for the price. Just finished eating a couple of pieces of their pizza and i'm struck by how non-greasy it is...plenty of cheese, but not too greasy. Most of my experience with these guys is through delivery, but the couple of times i've walked in they have been very nice. In fact, one time i was stuck out in the area for an hour due to a trimet schedule inaccuracy, i ordered a pizza and the guy working the counter was friendly, talkative, and even gave me a free soda with purchase of pizza, since i was stuck there for a while waiting for a ride. I'm not currently eating meat, but if you are of the carnivorous ilk then the Butcher's Block pizza is TO DIE FOR. In fact, thinking about it makes me miss meat. For those of a more vegetarian oriented persuasion the Mother Earth pizza is amazing, though i always substitute pesto sauce (i'm not a fan of creamy garlic sauce at all, but as far as creamy sauces go i guess theirs is pretty ok). The crust is really good...springy and flavorful. They charge a delivery fee of $2, but compared to all the other pizza places in the area that deliver they still have the best quality and size for the price.

This is our favorite go to pizza place, whether it is picking it up or having it delivered. They have never missed the mark with us. It's always hot, fresh and delicous, their salads are fresh, crisp and clean !

This is my second time ordering delivery from Bellagios. I've eaten in once as well. I really like this place for pizza because it's nearby and it isn't typical crap pizza from a chain that tastes decent, but ends up making you have regrets later like Pizza Hut or dominos. You know the "OMG this pizza is so fat and amazing!" For like the first four slices. Then an hour later you are hating life with a huge stomachache and you feel like you need a nap. Then you take a nap and wake up feeling ten times worse. Or am I the only pizza binge eater/food coma napper with eater's remorse? Anyone? No. Just me. Okay well anyway, their pizza doesn't make me feel as badly as a piece of poo as the other places. I usually order the Margherita, which is really good! Although I could use less cheese on it and it would probably be better. Anyway, for the kind of pizza it's okay in price. Their jalapeño bread is really good and their marinara tastes like it has wine in it. It's pretty tasty. The inside of the place is basic. Nothing fancy. There is usually not a lot of staff. One guy at the register, sometimes he's doing pizza-like things as well. Today I had a nice delivery girl. She was prompt. When I called they said an hour plus for delivery as they were low on drivers but it wasn't much more than an hour, which I was happy about. Overall, decent pizza, decent price, and nice staff. I recommend it.

Great service. I picked up my pizza at the location. They were running a little late, were very apoplectic and offered us drinks. He three in cheesecake for any inconvenience.

No car means delivery time. This is the first time I have had food from them. I got the hot wings which I loved. Normally wings from a pizza joint are just ok but they exceeded my exceptions and I am a wing guy. I also got a small pizza with half chicken and the other half pepperoni. I'm my opinion this a great pizza and I don't eat a lot of pizzas. The crust was perfect, the right amount of cheese and sauce. One of the best in town of what I have tried so far. He delivery time was an hour which is the norm. The driver was polite and friendly. The only goof up was I ordered a 20oz soda but they delivered a 2 liter go a good goof up. Will order from them again.

This is our goto place for pizza these days. We get a great gluten free pie and a second one with extra gluten. Both are delicious. They make it a point to show you the pizza when you pick it up, so that there are no surprises.

I've ordered pizza here many times. It always arrives hot and it's the best tasting pizza I've found since moving here. Also, one of the most reasonably priced pizza places I've found.

I ordered a pizza online at 4:30 to be delivered at 6:30 so I could have it on my dinner break. I called them at 6:40 to check on my delivery and was told to wait another 10 minutes. I tried explaing that my lunch break will be over in 10 more minutes. I didn't even get an apology. The pizza arrived 25 minutes past the delivery time Leaving me 5 minutes to eat. The driver told me to call the store and they would refund the price of my cold late pizza.

Picked up a BBQ Chicken Pizza tonight from the Beaverton Store at the Bethany/Cornell Triangle. This Pizza was outstanding, made with Mozzarella, Chicken Breast, Red Onion, Bacon on BBQ Base. Really great service by General Manager Dan Harris and another employee. If you haven't been to Bellagios, you should try them out.

The pizza is good and they sell by the slice. The only issue I have had is they are often behind on making pizza that they sell as slices.

Very good for a franchise/chain. Had their Monday Special $13.99 Large Any Three Toppings Pizza with pepperoni, Canadian bacon, and pineapple. The dough was chewy and soft, toppings were very generous, lots of sauce and cheese, pineapples were not dried out. I have no complaint about our pizza. It's probably one of the best chain-store pizzas I've had. The have quite a variety in their menu including breadsticks, wings, salads, sandwiches, calzones, gluten-free pizzas, and desserts (cheesecakes). Service was minimal but all the workers were friendly and pleasant. If you dine in, you order at the counter, they bring out your food and bust your table. All the tables had pizza crumbs on them buy they weren't nasty. They also have two high chairs which are both pretty clean and crayons for your little ones. They're kind of hidden. Located across from Fresh Thyme Soup inside that dead-looking plaza on the Taste of Sichuan side of Cornell.

Pretty good pizza delivered hot, fresh and relatively fast, we especially liked the butcher block, the Italian Chicken and the Mother Earth (veggie). The pies are a little pricey, compared to others in the area, and moreover, either they are borrowing liberally from Pizza Schmizza's corporate playbook, or vice-versa, but I swear the crusts at these two chains is virtually identical. But the slices are larger and overall value goes to Schmizza, so they get the nod, at least for now. Neener neener, Bellagios-schmallagios! ;p

  • Christy O.

This place is the best pizza delivery in the area- best sauce, dough and toppings! I have enjoyed the gluten free pizzas, and my family loves the pepperoni with regular dough. We are new to the area and were bummed to find mostly mediocre pizza chains here--so we are glad to have found Bellagios!

  • Christine P.

Gluten-Free Greatness! I tried Bellagio's (Beaverton location, delivery) gluten-free pizza for the first time on Mother's Day, based on another review I read on Yelp. It certainly lived up to the "best gluten-free pizza I've eaten" claim. It really is! Not that there might not be a better gluten-free pizza out there, but I haven't found it yet, and I've had some really BAD gluten-free pizza (like Mellow Mushroom's). I got the Very Veggie and Mother Earth and both were really, really good. I'm getting the veggie again tonight, too. It's a bit pricey for pizza, but if you're GF and really in the mood for pizza, Bellagio's is a great option.

UGH! I've been there twice and will never be going back again. The first time our order was taken and the people working there had to ask us at least 3 more times what we wanted before they could serve us (lunch special, single slices.) Then it took almost 25 minutes to get our salad. The second time we kept it simple so we could get our food faster. We were served cold pizza. To make it worse the girl working there started LOUDLY complaining about a coworker. She didn't stop the entire time we were there, and we heard the whole thing. She even cursed and we had kids with us. It was really frustrating, and we will not be going back. I do need to say that other Bellagios are great and I do love their pizza, just not from this one!

    (1)
  • J B.

I've only tried their pizza pie once, but I ordered it thick and it was really yummy - like a thick crust pie should be. In addition, the bottom was a little crunchy with the crust a little bubbly. My only complaint was that the tomato sauce could have had a little more zip to it, but, all-in-all, I will definitely have a go at it again! By the way, while not expansive they do have four or five four-tops inside that allow for seating if you're not taking out.

Don't go to this Bellagio's, it's not representative of this pizza chain. The one on Nimbus Ave. in Beaverton is so much better. The service is not great. They take way too much time to make the pizzas, which is just inexcusable because the special oven takes 5 minutes to cook a whole pizza! We've gone to this location multiple times and had this same experience, but when we go to Nimbus it doesn't happen. The last time I told my husband I don't care what side of town we're on, we're not going to this Cornell location ever again. They've also screwed up our orders multiple times. This happens so much that the guy has a rolodex in the front with all of the cards of the people he owes free pizzas to. I know this because he gave us a free replacement of one that they messed up. This happens even when they're not busy!! Unbelievable. And for some reason the pizzas just don't taste the same from this location. Maybe the ingredients aren't as fresh, I'm really not sure why they would be that different.

  • D L.

OK let's see, the last time we ordered from them (Beaverton location), it took 1 hour and 50 minutes. They said it would be 1hr for delivery; they did not call and say they were running behind. We called several times and the last time we called they said it would be 10 min because there was a mistake on their part; they blamed it on the delivery driver. The 10 min turned into 50 min and they promised us a free pizza. Fast forward to today, we called to get our free pizza they said it would be 1hr and a $2.00 delivery charge, no problem we thought. Hey a pizza for $2.00 can't go wrong with that. Well they $^*&(^ again, after 1 hour we called and they had not left with the pizza, the manager at that time said they would get it out the door right away, 20 minutes later we got our pizza barely warm. We will NEVER ORDER from them again. Congratulations Bellagios you have just made it easier for yourselves not to worry about making another pizza for a client, hey who needs the money any way it's not like your competitors are looking to take away business from you. You're just pushing it away. I will never recommend this pizza chain or location to any friend or enemy.

This is perhaps THE WORST pizza experience I've ever had. This includes the cardboard pizzas you can get with Dominoes. Why? Because at least with Dominoes I know what I'm getting. I call at 5PM to order a pizza ahead so that its ready for pick up so I can make my football party. They take my order and say 20~25 minutes it will be ready for pick up. GREAT! I think. I get there at 5:25 on the dot. They take my money and he says "Its not quite ready it'll be just a few more minutes." As I'm sitting there watching the going ons I see that at least there are 4 people who are also waiting for pizzas. I then observe that they are MAKING my pizza now. So as if the previous 30 minutes didn't happen nor the 5 minutes that they just used to take my money. 5:46...pizza is ready and its "have a nice evening". No apologies. No sorries. Just "Have a nice evening." THIS would have ALL be somewhat redeemable IF the pizza was any good. But it wasn't. I've had Bellagios from another location and it has always been good. This pizza dough was under done. THe cheese was not fully melted. As a result I will never buy from Bellagios again.

  • May T.

If you are willing to pay a more for your pizza (more then pizza hut, domino...) then this is worth your $$. i love their crust-- flavorful and crunchy. The quality of their meats is noticeable; they have a great little deal when you buy two pies. they have a couple of other locations but this is the one i go to. yummy!

For a small pizza chain, it serves a good pizza. Located off cornell near bethany rd. I went here for lunch today because i heard it was the best pizza in this area. Going in with that thought in mind may have ruined it for me. Just maybe! When i walked in, i was greeted by some very customer friendly types that really made me feel like i wanted to order 10 pizzas. Well, i had to settle for one large which cost me 14.99 with a coupon. This maybe a lot for lunch, but i luckily had my trusty side kick along that agreed to slip it with me. So, i ordered the chicken pesto! It arrived in 10 minutes (not bad!). The crust was somwhat thin but not crisp. No bad after taste either. The toppings included artichokes (yum) and onions. They do give you a very adequate amount of toppings too. I was impressed with the pizza i got and will definitely go back. As far as it being the best pizza in this area (defined by 185th to murray), i'd have to say it is for me - so far!

Full disclosure, I am from Chicago and a pizza snob. This place serves very adaquate pizza. Better than most in the Portland area. There is actually pizza sauce on it, what a concept!

    (3)
  • Matt D.

Bellagio's has the best pizza in Portland, as far as I'm concerned. Thick, tangy sauce and plenty of it, "just right" on the crust thickness, and generous with the toppings. The "by the slice" pricing at lunchtime is very reasonable ($2.50 for a nice wide slice). Whole pizzas come at a bit of a premium compared to the competition, but well worth it in my book. They're also usually quick on delivery, and pizza for pickup is usually ready within 15 minutes. If I had one complaint about this location, it's that they don't serve my favorite variety by the slice ("Pepperoni Plus"- pepperoni, black olives, and mushrooms, yum!).

About Taco Bell

Taco Bell is a haven for Mexican delicacies such as tacos, quesadillas, burritos, nachos, and other specialty items. Owned by Yum! Brands, Inc. Taco Bell is one of the fastest growing American chains of fast food restaurants. The restaurant operates from 7,072 different locations which are mostly run by independent franchisees and licensees.

The background story of Taco Bell is interesting and inspiring for budding entrepreneurs. The fast-food brand is the brainchild of Glen Bell, who started his first food venture as a hot dog seller in San Bernardino, California. The year was 1948. After witnessing long queues outside a Mexican restaurant called Mitla Café across the street, Bell saw the opportunity and demand for hard-shelled Tacos. He reverse-engineered the recipe and later started selling Tacos and called the venture Taco-Tia.

Later, the name changed from Taco-Tia to El Taco. Eventually, Glen Bell sold the company to his partner and opened the first Taco Bell in Downey in 1962. By 1964, the restaurant also got its first franchise in Torrance. The 100th Taco Bell restaurant was opened by 1965. PepsiCo acquired Taco Bell from Glen Bell in 1978 and the restaurant brand is currently a subsidiary of Yum! Brands which looks after the restaurant business of PepsiCo.
