Two years later and I thought I'd give them another try. The smoked chicken salad was awful. The tortillas they fried were stale and hard, the lettuce was actually black. Requested another salad but same quality came back out. I'm disappointed again. 2 stars because the guy behind the counter was friendly and nice.

Saucy... First one and first time. What a treat. Very reasonably priced and you get quite a bit of food. I got the brisket and chicken basket. Delicious meats, fantastic BBQ beans, awesome corn and an even better side of seasoned fries. Was it crazy about the toast though. It was ok... The only other negative thing to say is my brisket was dry. The meat kept breaking up into small cubes. Other than that I'll be back! And hungry for more!

The best bbq I've had in my life, meat falls right off the bone. Melt in your mouth amazing. They were totally open to giving me samples of anything. And everything was good. Planning on coming back tomorrow. I got the crib which and it was sublime. PLUS free icecream!

Not a fan. They are supposed to specialize in ribs, hence the name, but I've never cared for them. I really wanted to like them, but they just never seem tender enough, too tough and chewy. I'd honestly rather just go to T.G.I. Fridays for ribs. And that's saying a lot.

Well, let me start by saying that I sent back the ribs. They were dry and chewy. To the Managers credit, they were immediately replaced by some that were perfectly prepared. The pulled pork was good, but I've had better. I'd give the place a 7 out of ten if it weren't so over priced. My true test, that being "Sliced Brisket", went undiscovered as they were all out before 1pm. Overall I give the place a 5, MAYBE a 6. Next time I'll go elsewhere

Sigh, I can't believe I'm reviewing a chain restaurant. To quote Bogart in Casablanca "Of all the barbecue joints in all the towns in all the world, I walk into this one". Yes, with several very highly rated Oklahoma barbecue places located in Tulsa, time and circumstances just didn't seem to permit being there during their often limited hours. And time was getting shorter on the last day in town. What to do, where to go? So I ended up at Rib Crib, not knowing of course that it's a chain. But I was pleasantly surprised. It was actually pretty good. The positives are that it is located in the cool Blue Dome District and in a building that actually is old. The smoky smells coming from the restaurant are intoxicating. The décor is theme-like but kinda homey. The cashier was nice but seemed confused, especially why we would want to split a half rack of ribs rather than pay a little more for the all-you-can-eat special (we weren't that hungry I guess). He asked if we were sure a couple of times. The ribs were delivered almost before we sat down at the quasi-outdoor patio. Hint to Rib Crib management, there's something to be said about being fashionably slow in delivering food so there is at least some sort of appearance that they were actually cooked to order. But, here it goes, the ribs were great. I had the dry rubbed ones and they were tender, extremely meaty and no fat. Honestly, my 3 ribs plus some slaw and taters were enough to finish me off for the day. The place was almost empty at about 3 PM on a Tuesday but I suspect that could be because it seems Tulsa has a law against selling barbecue after 2 PM (just kidding, or am I). So the good news is I still have about 5 Tulsa barbecue places I still want to try. Road trip!

If you're gonna have the balls to call them "championship ribs" you're gonna have to put up or shut up. Needless to say they did not deliver. The rub was put on unevenly and the places they put too much were super salty. And in case they're reading, championship ribs don't have the membrane on the back of the bone. Also, when ribs have been properly smoked they lose that funky pork taste. I could tell they wrapped in them in foil because they were super tender, but almost too tender. Championship ribs will have a firmer pull off the bone. Over all, this place isn't bad. It's just nothing special. Other Rib Cribs do better ribs too.

I got the "crib club ". It's was really good. Bacon, pulled pork, and turkey. Everything on it was done right. The Frys are crispy but soft on the inside. The way it should be. 3 bbq sauces, hot, med, and mustard. All good. Nice and clean. But you have to pay to park.

This place even has great salads if you're eating light! I love the atmosphere of this down town location. I haven't been to a rib crib like this before. If you're looking for something different, try one of the super spuds.

Bone dry sliced brisket, very dry pulled pork, juicy corn on the cob, delicious fries, ok fried okra. All the good sauces at the table helped the dry meats. Staff are friendly, space is nice.

This place is nicely laid out with a pretty good menu. The staff seemed very friendly and the food arrived without delay. I have to admit I have nothing to compare this place to in Tulsa but being from Texas I was disappointed. Had a two meat combo baskit(Brisket/hot links). It came with fries(they were ok) corn (good) mac/cheese(good) and toast. I found the brisket dry and not very flavorful as other reviewers stated. The sauce was good so that helped. The hot links werr also not all that great. Maybe I should have ordered the ribs here but I probably would try some other places before I came back. Its not bad but not great foodwise. They did offer ice cream on the way out which was nice(didnt try).

Had chicken, sausage and the misses had a pulled pork sandwich. The employes were super nice but the food was not what I expected. Maybe it was an off night but the pulled pork was cool and so was my chicken. Also the fries had been sitting for awhile. Granted we were the first ones there.

One of the best BBQ chains there is. Love the chopped brisket and fries. Music is a little loud but that is normal for a downtown restaurant. Great customer service too. A go to eatery for BBQ.

Rib Crib - Keep your posted open hours or close your doors! It is thrilling to see new exciting restaurants coming to downtown Tulsa. Established local fare is welcome as well as those big chains which honor us with believing in Tulsa's downtown renewal. I do find complaint however when a prime location is underutilized because for whatever reason the restaurant decides to close at will on a daily bases. Let's face it, we all live busy lives and have restrictions on when and what we can do. To have a new restaurant be closed repeatedly when you try to pay them homage for just being there, is ridiculous. Rib Crib is by far NOT my favorite for smoked BBQ at any of their locations, but to find them closed for business on three occasions; I've had enough. We will not bother to try again. When they move out, (soon I hope) we will look forward to patronizing the new more amenable company.

Came here after trying to go to the sushi place next door only to find it closed. Glad they were and I did because the place is great.

Visited this location at 6:45 pm on Sunday and they greeted us by saying we're sorry we ran out of ribs and it will be a half-hour before we can get some more from another store. REALLY! You ere a BBQ restaurant or so your name says! Forget this place!

This was my second time eating here and both times have been great. The first time was for dinner (had the Dirty Deed with pulled pork, smoked sausage and a couple of ribs) and for lunch (the spicy yard bird with smoked chicken and a hot link). Both times were great. The food is done just right (the smoked chicken breast was one of the moistest I have ever had). Although the pull pork was without sauce, you have your choice of three different types on your table. I like the Bold Carolina best. They serve BBQ with the expectation that you will do most of the saucing yourself so if you order to go, be sure to get some sauce to go too. As for the sides, both my meals came with seasoned fried (very good), toast (was ok) a small ear of corn (very good), and one extra side I got to pick. Not being from the south (but having a father that was), I had to ordered the fried okra. I walked out feeling full and happy. The place is clean and the staff friendly. Overall a good place to eat. Oh and don't forget to grab your FREE mini ice cream out of the cooler by the door on your way out. A nice sweet treat to finish your meal.

This location does it different, and it was alright. Order at the counter and get your number. We sat on the patio which was cool. High top tables, a TV and view of north downtown. The food came out super fast which suggests that it was mostly made and just put together. Regardless, all of it was great. It's not the best BBQ in the state or even the area, but it is good. The service was nice, and you get free ice cream when you leave. I'd go here again.

Pretty good food but a bit pricey. The employees are very friendly and very attentive.
