One of the best chinese food restaurants in downtown Tulsa. They are always so friendly and talkative. They are glad to see repeat customers. I go every now and then. I get the chicken fried rice which is a little over $5. I have also tried the fried tofu which was interesting. Ignore those old reviews and give this place a try. See the smiling friendly staff.

I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT. These ladies make great food, the service is fast and always correct which says a lot for a drive thru. Yum!

The place isn't as bad as the other reviews. It's like the mall Chinese food. I ordered spicy beef fried rice and it was fresh and good. It's by far not one of my favorite places but it works and much better than Long Palace.

I forgot my lunch and was craving Chinese food. I went here because it was snowing and they have a drive thru. The eggroll was really good, so I was like "off to a great start!". Then I got to my broccoli chicken. All the chicken was dark meat :(....so I was too grossed out to eat it. The broccoli was mushy and the carrots tasted dirty. The sauce it was in didn't suck. The lady at the window was really nice and friendly. I wish it were better food as it is quite convenient.

I eat here when I forget to bring my lunch to work (which isn't often) because there's no other chinese restaurant in the downtown area in walking distance of the Blue Dome district. Don't ask if anything is made fresh - you get what you get and sometimes, yes, it will come off their buffet line that has been sitting all day. Besides, they get horribly offended if you ask them if your dish was made fresh and not taken from the bar. Very heavy on the salt/pepper and soy sauce. Don't even ask what the sweet and sour sauce is (I swear it tastes like molasses). The combo shrimp-fried rice only has 3 shrimp that they place on the top and salty meat throughout the dish. The other pink/orange sauce they have is ok but what's with the huge chunks of carrots and peppers?

I ordered a chicken dish and there was not enough chicken and the chicken that was in the dish was all dark meat. The food was also very salty. The place is in desperate need of a makeover.

Have to agree with the other one star reviews. I've tried this place three times now. Not good. Grumpy staff. Oh well.

I can say without hesitation that this is some of THE WORST, if not THE WORST Chinese that I have had in ALL my travels!! A friend and I were in Downtown Tulsa last Sat and wanted something...anything to eat. We drove around for what seemed about a half hour and found nothing open and then found this pit. I ordered a large order of Egg Drop soup, which the lady said would take a few minutes. I also got some breaded chicken. My dining companion ordered a Lo Mien dish. The soup was pathetic , as it was a mass of watered down chicken broth with an egg, a few reheated vegetables and some cornstarch thrown in, a truly bland and tasteless broth. The chicken was lackluster as well. My friend's Lo Mien was made up of greasy Linguine noodles with a few chunks of meat thrown in. This place should be the voted the most likely to serve Cat in Tulsa. Why they are in business I have no idea. So if your looking to see how bad Chinese can be, look no further than this place. If I could give these clowns a -5 I would. ACE

Probably the worst Chinese food I ever had by far, sesame chicken was basically sesame fried dough. I had low expectations about the place but I think I overestimated it. First and Last.

Nasty is right. Cold chunks of chicken? mixed in some sauce that just reaked of salt and sugar. I just left it on the table. Actually scary. i wish I knew where else their customers ate so I could avoid them as well.

Nasty, stale chinese food. Ick. Maybe you'll have better luck if you go during the lunch rush, but later in the afternoon the food just sits there and funkifies.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
