Horrible customer service! Owner and cashier were abrasive and did nothing to fix their mistake.

The worst tacos I've ever had. Got the 5 Mimi tacos and only had cheese and sour cream on them. I wanted extra of these 2 toppings.. And that is all I got.. Nasty..

Taco Shop Check List as per Food Beast.com Small location- Check Soccer Playing- Check Coke in glass bottles-Check Horchata in a bucket- Check Homemade Salsa- Check 100% Authentic Experience. The staff was helpful and the area was clean. The tables inside were basic, possibly 8 small tables with most of the seating outside. This is what seems to be more of a to-go place. The menu is extensive and well priced. Maybe a little more than a taco truck but there is a lot of food and good food at that.(Please see the picture of the menu below). This place was busy, the service was friendly and understanding of my many questions and special requests. The food was on point. For Cinco De Mayo I wanted Authentic, I searched high and low and was told about this hidden gem. This particular eatery is outside of where the other traditional taco shops are found but that is what makes this a little bit more of a "well kept" secret. We had the following: Nachos (Tex-Mex) but with a authentic touch. Very good and I am not a huge nachos fan. 5 Small Street Tacos- 5 different meats. Chicken, 2 types of Beef, Pork, and tongue. Yes, tongue. This taco was hands down the best of the best and the very reason I came to this location. The Burrito Supreme- Loaded with steak, beans, guac, and rice, this would be a good choice for the traditional Tex-Mex fan or a picky eater. Homemade Salsa Verde: Very good, not the best I have ever had but points for being fresh and flavorful. Homemade Red Traditional Salsa: Not a chuncky salsa like pico but a smooth salsa with a bite. Once again very good but not the best I have had. It does not have to be the best to be good and fresh. A must for a taco shop is Horchata! This meal was enjoyed with Horchata. The Horchata here was very sweet and came in a giant cup, literally so much the 3 of us could not finish it. Sweet and milky to help with the spices found in the food. I saw one review that stated this place was not that good because they only put cilantro and onions on the tacos. That is the beauty of this place, the simplicity. This is not Taco Beano, or El Chico, this is a traditional taco shop. They serve it just as they would in Mexico, that is without lettuce and tomato. Will I be back, Heck Yea!

Went there specifically for carne asada fries and it was delicious. The restaurant is small so I usually get my food to go. Not a fan of the fish tacos. Didn't realize the fish was gonna be fried. I did like the beef and chicken tacos. They were flavorful. Staff was informative of menu and helpful. Location is a little skeptical but food is great! My new fav Mexican restaurant!

So far the only place that tastes like good Cali Mexican food. Service may be poor at times but I've seen worse. They try. Haven't had a bad experience with the food. Have to have the Asada fries.

Very good but unremarkable working-class Mexican in the style of any of Tulsa's wealth of local Mexican cafes. Foam plates, plastic tableware, paper cups all confirm that El Super Taco is built around the lunch takeout trade. I ordered carnitas; were tender and crispy if bland. The pork came with sides of rice and refried beans, both clearly made in-house but lacking any spark or character that would set them apart. Flour tortillas were storebought. Mediocre guacamole. The house salsa deserves special mention. Fantastic stuff, loaded with pepper flavor. Definitely the high point of the menu, and good enough to pull this up to three stars.

Food is good but they seem to be very lax at 9am. I ordered 2 things, paid, then they tell the cashier that they don't have chorizo or bacon. He looks at me like, "well? Now what?" They have minimal food in the morning. Last time I came they overloaded the onions on my 5 tacos. I smelled horrible the rest of the day. Be patient with them. Food ok- just expect less from the customer service point.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
