I walked out my door one morning and Santa had brought me a flyer from D'oro Pizza. Not any crappy flyer with off-center print and razor thin pastel paper, but a real flyer on that nice papyrus style brown paper, with real deals on it. (not the free water with the purchase of 72 pizza's kind of deals). I checked Yelp reviews and didn't see anything that gave me pause. I figure if someone's gonna hustle for my buck, I'm gonna try to throw some bread their way first chance I get, and tonight was that chance. I arrived there hoping for a salad bar and a couple of pizza slices (they sell it by the slice, it said on the flyer) I found out quickly that it was just delivery/carry out. So I changed gears and got the 6.99 two topping medium pizza. There was a very large selection of pizzas and sides available. Michael, the guy behind the counter, was very friendly, and we had a good conversation while I waited for my pizza to cook. It was very fast 6-8 minutes. I got home a short drive away and the pizza was still piping hot, and smelled wonderful. It was plenty enough to feed two small peeps or one big guy (me). I've eaten pizza in New York, Chicago, and Italy and I can tell you it's not any of those styles, not that I saw they claimed to be (I looked on the store front because a previous reviewer had said they claimed "chicago style", which it clearly is not)...It's an original hand tossed thickness that is cooked deep-pan style. I am not a crust eater, and usually leave ends. NOT THIS TIME! I ate every bit of that pizza, even the ends were delicious and the same consistency as the rest of the tasty crust. It's a sweet sauce, which I love...but they didn't over do it with the sauce....cooked perfectly with toppings covering the entire top. I would normally give any of the chains (the hut, mazzio's, caesar's, domino's) a two, maybe a 3 if EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT. So, I'm giving D'oro a 4 since they are head and shoulders above that fare in every measurable category. Fast, friendly, good deals and price, super tasty...what else do you need? I will go back soon.

I do love all their pizzas I've tried, but I'm absolutely addicted to their lasagna!!! Fast and friendly service, great food and great prices! I've only been going to D'oro for a couple of months, but I'm sure I've already been there over 20 times.

I was hungry and in the mood for Chicago style pizza. Normally, I would jump in the car and head down to Bixby and eat at Savastano's. But I was feeling particularly lazy and decided to search the internet for Chicago style pizza a little closer to my Midtown Tulsa home. I saw that D'oro Pizza, less than a mile from me, claimed to be a "Chicago Style Pizzeria". A phone call to D'oro confirmed that they did, indeed, have Chicago style pizza. So I ordered one. I asked for a small. He said it would be $8.50 and be at my house in 30 minutes! It actually only took about 20 minutes before the courteous delivery driver arrived at my door. He then informed me that they charged me for a small but went ahead and made me a medium because "the small is just so... small." I thanked him, tipped him, and sent him on his way. My first inkling that something might be amiss: the box wasn't very heavy. Even the leftovers from a small Savastano's Chicago style pizza weigh about 3 metric tons, so I was concerned about what awaited me inside the box. Just as I suspected... it was basically what amounts to a "hand tossed" pizza. Not even a particularly thick crusted hand tossed pizza. Some places might even call this "thin crust". I was disappointed. My dreams of having decent Chicago style in midtown had been crushed. Not since Little Chicago on 11th St. closed have I been able to enjoy my favorite style of pizza goodness without driving to the suburbs. Deflated, but still hungry, I decided to dive in to this "regular ol' pizza". To my surprise, it wasn't bad. The crust had a good flavor. The sauce was also tasty. The pepperoni was.. pepperoni. It was a decent pizza, especially for eight and a half bucks. If I was in the mood for thin or thin-ish crust pizza, I would go to Hideaway or Andolini's. But, if you want a cheap, no frills pizza from a locally owned place with courteous employee, D'oro is a good choice. If they removed the term "Chicago Style" from their menu, I would bump them up to 4 stars.

Great pizza that's been around foreverrrrr! Nobody makes sauce like he does...it's a bit sweet and yummmmmy. It's probably the closest thing to NY style as it gets in town. Best delivery/takeout/non sit-down pizza place. Happy this place is still around...hooray for hole in wall places that can still survive in this economy!

The specialty pizzas are delicious and fresh. The standard pizzas are not as glamourous, but are definitely tasty and value driven. The bbq wings rock! Service is prompt and friendly. Closed on Sundays :(. But we can respect that :).

Just had the most delicious supreme pizza from Doro Pizza! I usually order from Mazzio's, but I was in the mood for something different and Doro did not disappoint. My boyfriend and I both ate two slices and felt quite full. We ordered a medium, so we have some leftover for a snack later. :-). We also got two cans of root beer. Reasonably priced food. I was cautious about ordering from Doro after reading the Yelp reviews, but I'm so glad we did! I like giving my money to local establishments.

Good pizza at a good price. One of my favs is the eggplant pizza. The italian sausage and roasted garlic are a good combo as well. They have a good tasting sauce and I'm always pleased with my food here. They also make subs, lasagna, and salads.

Our favorite pizza in Tulsa. Always great. Friendly staff. Fast delivery. The crust is buttery and delicious. The pizza is not too greasy. Their specialty pizzas are really good too! Oh, and the prices are very fair.
