Not really one to write reviews but this place motivated me. My wife and I went there, ordered 10 coneys. I don't like soggy chili saturated bread so since we were getting these to go, we asked if the chili could be on the side... Willing to pay a few cents extra to cover the cost of the Styrofoam container. The guy said no he could not give it on the side, "it's a liability". What? He did say we were welcome to order a bowl of chili for 4 or 5 bucks (depending on size). Really? I suppose if it's on the side, it's a " liability", if you pay several bucks though it's called a bowl and not a "liability". Right. Cancelled the order. Will say that the place is very clean though.

Try to make to Coney Island every time I am back in Tulsa. They are always great. You get exactly what you expect. Service was great & efficient. Again, will be back next time in in Tulsa!

I am a Whore for coneys! So this is not an objective review. That said, this is the best coney I have had. All coneys are good, these are the goodest!

This a pretty good Coney I-lander. Not as good as the one on Admiral but I do like that it is next to the movie theatre. Service can be a little spotty but overall this isn't a bad location for that "Coney crave".

This location is not my favorite, because the service is always a little off...BUT, it is conveniently located right next to AMC. We usually stop in here for some coneys before taking in a movie. The food here is what you have come to expect from Coney I-Lander, and that is the important thing. Delicious little coneys packed with delicious flavor! The prices are very affordable, and you can always get in and out pretty quickly.

What more could be said? If you don't know then I can't help Ya. Love every location equally but I now live less than a mile from here so this is the one for me. My new favorite past time just may getting 3 with chili, cheese & mustard to go with a side of Dr. Pepper and going to sit on the side walk out front and saying high to the folks partying at Weight Watchers next door. March bonus: $1 coneys from 5-7 on Sundays!!! They may have margin squeezes this month!!!

One of my all-time favorite restaurants. There's no place like Coney I-Lander and I've missed it ever since moving away in 2004. Every time we go to or through Tulsa this is the place we stop and eat. In fact The Wife got me a gift card for Christmas and since we haven't been that direction yet this year I'm thinking of making a special trip just for coneys. This is the location where we usually stop and eat, although we also frequented the Jenks restaurant when I-44 construction was ongoing. I've been to all the others over the years, and IMHO the coneys here are the best of any of the locations in town. When I stop and order five coneys, Fritos, and a root beer, I enjoy taking a food porn photo and sending it to other coney expatriates and reveling in their jealousy. I can live with the hate as long as I have a coney in hand.

A must-visit. Expertly-seasoned chili on these dogs that pairs great with yellow mustard and Fritos. On par with the great coney spots of Southeastern Michigan or south Brooklyn. One of the old Tulsa coney spots run by the interrelated group of Greek families.

Mostly if you've been to one Coney I-Lander you've been to them all. And it's missing the 'S' is islander so don't confuse it with imposter coney places that have the 'S'. They are similar, but not the same company. Each location has the same 70's retro colored booths and the same menu. The only thing different is the quality of service you receive from the workers. The manager at this location has always been super friendly and most of the employees are great. Supposedly the manager holds the record for most coneys prepared by one person in a day. Pretty impressive considering how busy they can get. The menu has the same items as the other Coney I-Lander locations: Regular Coney (mustard, chili, & onions), Cheese Coney (a regular with cheese), Regular Tamale (tamale with chili & onions), Cheese Tamale (a regular with cheese), Frito Pie (available various ways), and a bowl of chili. They also carry small bags of chips, various fried pies, and mini pecan pies. The menu used to include 3 way spaghetti and a few other items, but I've never ordered anything but the coneys. Hubby and I always get the same thing which is 3 cheese coneys each and we share a bag of crunchy Cheetos. I've eaten Cheetos with my coneys since childhood, its tradition. Maybe one day I'll try a tamale; my brother speaks highly of them but he also eats tamales out of a can..... I love the chili on the coneys, and the orange shredded cheese. They always steam their buns perfectly, and the hot dogs may be small but they're grilled just right on a flat top. Great location right around the corner from AMC 20. Thankfully it's never ridiculously busy when we've gone, but I'm sure it's insane around lunch time or on the weekends. Oh and they accept the coupons that print on the back of receipts at Reasor's, which makes the coneys cheap!

A Tulsa institution! Old-fashioned Coney Island-style dirty water dogs with Greek-style chili. I grew up on them so I may be a little biased, but I don't care. My wife, a non-Okie used to hate these thing every time I made here have one, but now all she can talk about is the next time we can have a coney! Cheap, simple, and delicious. Get five cheese with everything, add red pepper and hot peppers at the table!

Went there on a Sunday evening and ordered 3 coneys. I was surprised when my bill was $3.16 - but Sunday is dollar night. Coneys are pretty good. I have long wanted to eat here and I wanted the original coney fixed in their traditional style, dog, chili, onion, cheese. If I were to go there again, I would like a little more choice on garnish - maybe some relish... It is certainly divey, but was clean, organized, and efficient.

Best coney in town! Don't cause yourself endless regret by ordering just one. The coneys are grilled to perfection, and the tangy chili is reminiscent of the famous Cincinnati skyline chili.

We hit up Coney I-Lander based on the recommendation from our Road Food guide that said it was a landmark of the Tulsa culinary scene. It kind of makes sense why America has an obesity problem if that is, in fact, true. Coney's are tiny hot dogs (good, so far) covered in any combo of chili, cheese, and onions. You are supposed to order 2-3 of them and that should probably put you on the fast track to indigestion or calling in sick tomorrow! We additionally ordered the Frito Pie, which was true to form, but didn't really make me feel any better with the slick of chili grease dripping off the styrofoam tray. This place was interesting. I kinda liked it - my heart, belt, and wife did not.

As you can see by the review, the coneys aren't bad. Unfortunately, I was feeling adventurous and paid the price. I made the TERRIBLE mistake of ordering 3-way chili. I had a great experience doing that at another coney place, so I thought I'd try something different. Well, this will teach me not to dance with the one who brought me. I can tolerate a certain amount of grease when eating out, but this was ridiculous. You couldn't get away from the bright orange liquid sloshing all throughout the chili sauce. I never noticed it that much when eating coneys, but that's one of the greasiest things I've ever tried to eat. It is a "you will get grease on whatever you're wearing no matter how careful you are" level of grease. And it didn't even taste good. I mean, when you get a bloomin' onion at Outback, you're going to eat a lot of grease but it's worth it because it tastes so dang good. But without a coney under it, the chili simply isn't that good, at least not on the chewy, flavorless spaghetti it was oozing on. A co-worker told me that the frito chili pie was good, and maybe the flavor from the fritos helps. I don't know, and I'm afraid to even think about it.

Love this place forever. The one on 11th is probably my favorite. Always get the works with extra cheese and mustard. Mmmmm.

I've been to every location in the city when I lived there. I like this one the best. Oklahoma's only redeeming value. 5 stars!!!

A Tulsa staple! I grew up eating Coneys, though so I could be biased. These are wonderful! Yes, they are small, but I think that's part of their appeal...so order more if you have a big appetite. And let's be real here people - don't complain about it being greasy! No one said it was a health food joint, so just go somewhere else if that's what you're after. I usually order one or two (because one coney never made anyone fat) but my husband orders four or five. Now that we live in Texas, we eat these multiple times on our trips home. Nothing beats the chili here.

So I had to stop and breathe on this one... this was also another suggestion by a friend a bff if you may... Although I did think about revolking her rights as bff after eating here. lol So here is the review.. its def a dive. Small hole in the wall. Cheap. Probably a good place to take your grandma to. You can get a crap load of chili dogs for super cheap. That is if you like nutmeg in your chili or meat sauce or whatever you want to call it. . Which i dont. It has to be the worst thing or atleast on the top ten list of places i dislike. NUTMEG DOES NOT BELONG IN CONEY ... but that is my opinion. If you do go here. Get a plain ole hot dog leave that chili/meatsauce out of it. Id suggest if you want a good hot dog. Go to fat guys burgers they have great food.

I had to do a review here to get the ratings up. Best coneys on the planet. The place is a bit of a dive I'll agree there, but you haven't had a coney until you've had a Coney-I-Lander.

There are a few of these in the area. I usually go to the one in Broken Arrow, but was by this one at lunch time. Same awesome coney at both locations. Consumption of food here does lead to later indigestion, but it's worth it every once in awhile. Obviously this place isn't the healthiest place to eat, but that's that's not going to lessen my rating.
