Local restaurant that could do so much more. I hear kind things about the owner and they benefit the state with charity but the food lacks. Pro's: Salsa bar Con's: the food doesn't seem quality. The price is not bad for what you get but it just seems to lack heart and presentation. This is a local favorite for families and lunches on the run. If you need a quick healthy snack they have options. I have been here several times and just leave desiring more. Are they horrible? No. Is this a superior food experience? No. Room for improvement? I believe so. Thank you for being local and giving to our wonderful state and community.

I love the burritos here. Not too flavorful compared to other burritos I have had but it's quick and easy. I love the salsa at available but I wish the chips were better with the salsa. If you are looking to have a lunch in less than an hour than Baja Jacks is a good choice.

Great food at a great price! They were very accommodating for my gluten allergy, making sure to give me chips from a different fryer than everything else. The staff was friendly and the ace felt clean.

I have been here twice in the past few weeks. Mostly because someone else suggests it. The order process is awkward to say the least. And since it is confusing, then everyone stacks up while they are filling out their order sheets between the door and the register. It is difficult to know if you can pass those people and just order at the register or what. I love hot sauce and will favor a place just for their salsas. This place has a salsa bar which means i can mix and match and get the quantity that I desire. This is probably what would bring me back. I tried the meal with two tacos, fish and carnitas. I probably wouldn't order that again. The fish was a little fishy even though it was fried but the carnitas were great. There are chip baskets up by the register and you just grab some and take them to your table along with your order number on a flag. Then someone brings your food while it is still hot. Plus, they check back with you pretty often. When we were there it was difficult finding a clean table, but it was near the end of the lunch era so maybe everyone was a little bit beat. Still, you have to get the people seated to get them out of the way. If that continues, then i will discontinue. So far, I would go back. They are located in a strip shopping center so there is plenty of parking.

Random find while in the area. Loved their salsa selection. Mmm mango salsa. The prices are cheap. Very flexible with how you want your items. Can go very healthy to being a slob.

First timers. Great food. My burrito was tasty and my wife loved her nachos. Also, the salsa bar is a nice touch. We are hooked and will definitely be back.

The food was really good. I was pleasantly surprised. Had the Baja fish tacos and a shredded beef burito. Both were excellent. Liked the lagre variety at the salsa bar. It was fast and affordable. I will deffenetly be back.

A co-worker introduced me to this place, and I'm really impressed by it! It was like $9 for a huge burrito, a giant basket of chips, all the salsa I could want, and a drink. Seriously, I took half of the burrito home and had a filling dinner later on. So it was like $4.50 per meal. We went during lunch rush on a weekday, but we still only had to wait about 5 minutes to place our order. That's fast for the area where I work! I'm a vegetarian, and I was really pleased that I had more than one option. (You omnivores take for granted all of your choices haha!) Aside from my huge burrito, they also allow each person to take their own basket of chips if wanted! It actually made me kind of nervous. I was like, "Guys, don't get your own chips. Please share mine because I don't want to waste this much." hahaha The salsa bar was amaaaaaazing. There were like 15 options. I could eat that mango salsa all day! The burrito was pretty yummy, too. They didn't skimp on my veggies! I love how colorful the place is. Bright blues, pinks, and yellows. It might be offputting to some people who like a darker atmosphere, but I enjoy color. Overall, a great fast food place that I'm happy to add to my food "portfolio."

Good food here. Good prices. Always seems like I get employees that either have no clue what they are doing or are new. Either way, solid 4 stars.

Baja Jacks is the shiznit people! I usually come up here on the weekends for lunch. Always get the make your own burrito. Tons of options to change it up. I was very impressed with the variety of what you could add into your burrito for the one flat cost. White Queso, Guac, and other things that cost more at places like Moe's, you get to add to your burrito at no additional cost. The Salsa Bar is awesome...they have the best traditional Salsa hands down. I could drink their house Salsa out of a gallon bucket and get Salsa wasted. It's cheap, fantastic, and options are endless. Whenever I am in the area on the weekend, I go here! It does get a little cramped during lunch rush hour however, but you can get it to go. They do serve some bottled beer as well. Baja Jacks is wayyyyy better than any other run of the mill burrito joint.

Salsa Bar - Build Your Own Burrito. Pretty great local stop in Jenks, OK. Really enjoyed how clean the restaurant was. The atmosphere was really great and I loved the surfboard theme. The staff, both front desk and the kitchen looked like they were having a great day at work. That means a lot to me. Burritos and tacos - or even wraps and bowls! Pretty awesome. Will be back again!

There is usually a good wait for the food, but trust me when I say it is worth it! The fish tacos are delicious. The salsa bar?!?! So many delicious options to choose from. I have only been here twice, but what I have tried has definitely made me want to come back for more.

I was thoroughly impressed by the quality (and quantity) of food I got when I ate here last night. When you enter, the menus are in digital versions as you wait in line. Everything is a reasonable price, and I went with the steak nachos. For a more "fast food" type of Mexican place, you get a lot of value for your money. The portion sizes were large and included a lot of toppings (and they didn't skimp on the meat!). The food tasted really good also. I was also impressed that you got a big basket of chips and unlimited salsa from the salsa bar. Their house salsa had a really good flavor. I can't wait to go back!

This is a great little taco place. Very friendly staff! Everyone looks and acts happy to work here. The food is great! I'd suggest either the street tacos (pork) or byob! Oh and the mango salsa which is complementary as well as the chips! Super fair price!

I had nachos here and they were pretty dry and flavorless compared to most nacho plates that I have ordered at other restaurants.

We visited for the first time last weekend. My husband had a chicken and carnitas burrito and I had the carnitas tacos. Both our dishes seemed really bland and underseasoned. The portions were good for the price and we really enjoyed the salsa bar, but given other options, probably wouldn't come back again.

Awesome place to eat! Great salsa bar you can grab from and the street tacos are my favorite! It has never been too crowded the times I go either.

Great service! They overcharged for extra burrito. We didn't catch it, but manager came over to the table and told us and have a refund.

A meal here costs about as much as at a burger chain but it is much better than anything you will find at taci bell. The atmosphere is also nice. If you want a decent meal and a ton of tortilla chips and a great salsa bar this place is hard to beat. If you expected fresh seafood for 6 bucks you might be dissapointed (like the grumpy review earlier)

We stopped in for lunch and enjoyed this place. The pork in my tacos was tasty indeed. My daughter enjoyed her bean burrito. Their salsa bar was fun for us with a variety of spicy treats. Baja Jack's is similar to a Taco Del Mar, but I like the fun atmosphere a bit more than the aforementioned. We'll be back.

Food was exceptional, loved the choices of salsa. The best part was the service, Kayla greeted us as we entered and helped us choose some great tacos! The food makes it a great deal but we will return because of the service!

Baja Jacks was our pit stop for lunch on the way to the aquarium. The food was fresh and came quickly after our order. I did a build your own burrito, and it was stuffed. Wish tables and salsa bar would have been a little cleaner, but the food was great, but the Jimmy Buffet music made the atmosphere even better!

Great selection of Tacos and Burritos. There is a Salsa Bar, with a large selection of salsa varieties. Good value.

Fish tacos are good! Grilled tacos like wahoos, fried are like rubios. Finally I've found a real fish taco in OK! Thanks baja jacks!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
