Its a pretty fun place and relaxed atmosphere (not on thursday) but when it gets busy the wait at the bar is ungodly. buy the drinks 2 or 3 at a time.

It's an ok place, but full of drunk college jocks. Nice for game night, til the crowd starts to get a little too rowdy.

Intimate place with live bands. A place to just hang out and shoot some pool.

I wrote this about the stonewall many years ago. It was mostly a sleep deprived jest but it does reflect my love of the wall. Oh, Stonewall With your wall of stone and your pitchers of intoxicants Oh, Stonewall Won't you sing me to sleep with your devastating liquors and your army of collar poppin douches. other than that: good drink prices, mostly good people. bathrooms were kind of terrible but that can be said of every bar bathroom. you take your deuce at home, son.

Ah yes... The Wall. Why am I always so smashed by the time I get here? Memory's kinda fuzzy so it must have been a great night ;)

It smells funky and sometimes the beer is slightly warm and skunky, but when I went to school at OSU and when I return to Stillwater Stonewall Tavern is where I go. Darts, Pool tables, and $5 pitchers make it the place to go.

I was there yesterday and Thursday are the best. A lot of people going there and it becomes a nice environment.

One of my favorite bars to just go hang out, especially in the early afternoon. The drinks are super cheap and always strong. Everyone is always super chill and I always run into someone I know. Don't wear your nicest clothes, because you will definitely leave smelling like an ashtray. The bathrooms aren't the nicest but I wouldn't say their the worst. Definitely a tight squeeze, even when you are by yourself.

Now that I'm out of stillwater, I continue to TRY and find places that remind me of the "wall".... so far nothing has matched up.. Yeah the place is dirty, well its actually just well used. The drinks are super cheap, cheapest and strongest drinks I've ever had. The weekly special is $2, usually something like rum and coke, tom Collins, or screwdriver. Its a great bargain because about 75% of the drink is liquor. Most girls can have about 3 before they get drunk, the most I've ever consumed was 6. This is what the wall is famous for. The beer selection isn't so great, but it remains dirt cheap, with pitchers for 5 or 6 bucks. The crowd here is what makes this place the best. It might be called the gay bar in town, or the hipster bar, but really its just the most diverse bar. You get artist, fratters, cowboys, druggies, business students, architects, townies... you name it they visit the wall. Especially on Thursday nights when its Electric Beatdown, everyone shows up highly intoxicated and goes nuts outside to super loud techno and dubstep. I'm not much of a dancer, but I do fine with this level of chaos. People are dancing/jumping on the tables outside. Its a normal occurrence for someone to shatter the wood (happened to my best friend one night) If the crazy Thursday nights aren't your flavor than check this place out on the weekday nights. Which are my favorite times to come. Just grab a table with friends, enjoy a few specials, and play free shuffle board. Chill. Altogether, I love the dingy college feel to this place, It always brings back fond memories of my senior year....

This place is nice spot for hangout with friends. Country side ambience and nice spot near by college. The prices are cheap and music is good. But we haven't got seats for 30 mins. On that day it's too crowded here around 100+ students and others. The only disadvantage is that it doesn't serve any food items like most other taverns.

The stonewall is a classic for OSU students. The bar is full of smoke and drunk college kids. Not too bad, but certainly not too much fun. A lot of people get over served here, be aware that they pour really strong drinks. That makes the place a deal, but ensures that the whole place at night is crazy rowdy!

Visited on: multiple dates from 2012 to present This is a smoking bar, and it's pretty nasty inside. There is an outdoor yard/patio thing, and it feels more open than the one at J.R. Murphy's, so it's easier for the smoke from outdoor smokers to dissipate. But it can get really crowded despite the larger size, and it still feels unclean and all-around crappy. The benches are very uncomfortable and feel like they can barely support anyone's weight. Thankfully, there's an outdoor bar so those outside don't have to go inside the hellpit of smoke to get drinks, though this all goes out the window during the winter. Prices are decent. They do have a Thursday night "Beatdown" during the summer when they play pulsating EDM beats in the outdoor courtyard. It's cool, but I have to enjoy it from the comfort of my nearby house. The one time I tried actually going to Beatdown, it was way too crowded.

This is a great place!! The atmosphere is pretty awesome! It's a little dirty, but hey, it wears it well! The beer garden is a cool place to hang out on a nice night, or maybe listen to the Thursday night beatdown! The beer selection isn't the greatest but oh well. The $2 specials are pretty good! The place has a few pool tables, shuffleboard, and a fooseball table. It's probably one of my favorite spots in Stillwater!

I've only been in Stillwater for about a week and I've been trying to explore as much as possible before my schedule gets too chaotic with school. I've popped my head into a fair number of bars around town and this is the one place I haven't wanted to leave. It's got a few notable perks: An outdoor area with plenty of seating, pool tables inside, cheap drinks and a great atmosphere. The crowd seems quite diverse and I feel more like I'm back in Philadelphia more so than Oklahoma. As a veterinary student it's nice to see the bar actually allow pets on the establishment; it creates a more friendly and enticing atmosphere. I guess that's until someone eventually gets bit, at least. Definitely an establishment I'm sure I'll be spending much of my time here in Stillwater.

Stonewall Tavern is great during football season on gamedays and "Rave Night" on Thursdays during the year. Other than that it is a weird ass GDI cesspool that is only useful for wolfing around when you are in the mood for easy girls with no morals or self esteem. Good drink prices but the local "scene" crowd has the same liberal elite snobbery that their Democrat parents probably have. Go to College Bar on the strip and get the same drink specials, but you can hit on hot sorority girls there.

The drinks are strong and cheap. The staff are friendly. The patrons are friendly. Lots of seating outside and a little cramped on the inside. The jukebox is always playing. It's very loud on the inside. When there is a band, it's deafening on the outside. The bathrooms are minimal and gross, and you'll smell like pack of cigarettes by the end of the night- a fair tradeoff.

By far my favorite bar in Stillwater. Very laid back and a great place to chill. I have to admit I've done some homework there on slow afternoons- its just that cozy. Gets really busy W-Sat night- but not obnoxiously so like Dirtys or Murphy's. They have DJs and live bands. The outdoor area has a bunch of picnic tables that often turn into platforms for drunk dancing. The indoor area has a couple of rooms- the "back room" has pool tables. Dress is casual. Beer and drink specials are cheap. Selection is decent.

Art. English. Theater. Philosophy. If you studied liberal arts in college, you know about The Stonewall. After all, it seems to cater to a rough-at-the-edges artist type with a chip-on-the-shoulder. But, every once in a while, there's a middle-aged man, a regular patron that, unless provoked, is otherwise harmless. So, bring your quarters. You're gonna want to feed the juke box and play some pool. There's shuffle board, too. This place can get rather packed, but it's because groups of friends sashay in and take over the place. Nothing wrong with that. There's also a huge outside patio area with picnic tables. This is definitely where your open-minded and free spirits come to whet their whistles. I miss The Stonewall, actually. I wonder, now that I'm a total beer junkie, what they have to offer a thirsty Yelper like myself? Hmm.

I have lived in the area for a month. This is the best place to hang out (yet)!
