Visited on: October 27 2012 Unless they really don't care about the taste of their food, I don't understand why anyone would want to eat here. The food is borderline garbage. They have typical American buffet food and all of it is pretty bad, but the steak (presumably, the "Sirloin" part of Sirloin Stockade) is especially bad. When I had it, it was dry and flavorless, like eating dried papier-mâché. To be sure, it was close to closing time when I had it, but it still shouldn't have been that bad.

Well I hate to give a bad review on any place but. That being said this place is horrible! Save your money the first baked potato I got was hard and cold, the ham was not dobe and the fried potatoes were from last night and we just started. Go down the road instead to rib crib. Yucky! !!

This place is just flat out bad. For $11, I got room temperature food that tasted like it had been on the buffet for hours. Even the meat from the carving station was luke warm and dry. The vegetable beef soup was pretty good and the cherry cobbler and chocolate chip cookies were good. The food overall was flavorless and devoid of any kind of spices. This is the worst place I have eaten in Stillwater.

Upon walking in I was greeted with smells of mountains of butter and the searing of stale meats. By no means was this my worst restaurant experience, but it definitely wasn't my best. I payed for the all you can eat steak buffet, this was my first sign. As I turned the corner I was greeted by a teenager flipping small filets on a mock-grill. He slapped two steaks in my plate and I continued to the rest of the buffet. I couldn't bring myself to try the fried chicken covered in potatoes and carrots or the other nauseating concoctions. I stuck to a simple plate of steak, mushrooms, corn, and a giant yeast roll. Perusing through the rest of the buffet carts I noticed a literal mountain of butter. It was overflowing from the sides of the small bin they had smashed it into, this was my second sign. Horrified I then turned to find an open seat in the desolate diner. At this point I realized I was the only patron not collecting a social security check or using a cane to waddle about the restaurant, this was my third and final sign. I grabbed a booth in the corner where the waitress rushed over and brought me a tall glass of sugary soda to wash down my heart stopping meal. I shredded through the under and over-cooked slices of meat and gulped down the many starches that filled my plate. I grabbed seconds and finished that plate also. I came into Sirloin Stockade unaware and excited. I left Sirloin Stockade dizzy and dripping of meat sweat. Everything I had heard prior to my entry was true. This restaurant, if it can be called one, is the den of the devil and will push your limits as a human. If you're into masochism then stop on by, otherwise just keep your distance when driving down Perkins.
