I guess they've been open a while now and got most of the kinks of a new business worked out. I've been to other locations of this chain and everything was as expected. Plus I was glad to see lighter fairs and gluten-free options added to the menu. Overall I would say if you are looking for all you would expect from a typical Olive Garden, you'll find it here.

Saturday evening we had dinner here with our daughter and her family for her birthday. We seriously thought it was a restaurant we could depend on being great. To our disappointment it was unfortunately the worst Olive Garden. Somehow we didn't get what we ordered which can happen. But we didn't get what we ordered on the second try. The manager actually wanted us to allow them a third try. He himself actually admitted that he intentially served a different cut of meat. To make the situation worse was throwing his employees under the bus. This Olive Garden is a disgrace. Someone needs to dismiss the manager and replace him with someone who cares and someone who knows cutting corners never works. They brought us go boxes so we took the food and fed it to the dogs. We also gave our waiter a substantial tip.

I am home sick with terrible food poisoning after eating at this restaurant. I have been nauseous, vomiting and frequenting the bathroom all day. I feel awful, and I'm certainly not going back to this Olive Garden. The food really wasn't great anyway. Even the breadsticks really weren't nearly as great as I remembered from my Olive Garden in my home town; they were over seasoned and not at all soft and fresh tasting. I was stuffed after eating less than a quarter of my meal, and I would have much rather paid less and gotten a more reasonable portion. Overall, I paid $20 for a subpar experience and a wretched case food poisoning. Do not recommend.

Don't go during the day... The food they served was some of the worst Olive Garden food I've ever had... I didn't even eat more than two bites. I immediately asked for a take home box and some more soup. However we did go there at supper time the other night and it was how OG food tastes...delicious. Try the kiwi melon frozen lemonade!!!!

This is one of the worst Olive Garden's I've ever been to. But it's not a sucky as the Red Lobster. If you think your safe with a chain restaurant be weary in Stillwater, America. Meh.

I can't believe I am writing a review of the Olive Garden, but... We moved here from out of state and were hoping this would be a halfway decent place to get pasta (since the only other place we can find is Da Vinci's), and it is decent. It's bland, but edible. (Our waiter was amazing, though.) Probably won't go back unless I'm invited.

Oh my goodness, we had the absolute BEST service here last night! We were a group of 9 with 3 kids. They set up a table in the bar area. We had the best waiter and waitress. They were so friendly and caring. Even the manager came over and greeted us, even brought 3 kids eat free coupons! The bartender made up a special dessert for the kids, they loved it. Our drinks were always filled and our food was fantastic! Definitely a great place to go.

Not all Olive Gardens are created equal. For some reason this location is always bad on service. We eat here with our family, and we often have 7 people. We try to eat at off times, so it's not as busy. We walked in and asked for a table for 7. We had one almost 2 year old in tow with us, my nephew. They tried to sit us in the bar area....My Mom politely asked if we could sit somewhere else, because the it's cold in this area. The male hostess got very catty and conversed with the other hostess in a rude way. it seriously took an act of congress to get us seated, and most of the restaurant was empty. Once seated, we placed our orders. I was feeling crazy, so I ordered pasta with cheese, and sauce. I know, right? When the food came out, the past was DISGUSTING! It was really dried out, and the sauce was burnt beyond recognition. My brother in law's dish looked exactly the same. Our waitress ran off before we could return it. Once we tracked her down, we returned our food. I ordered something else, but by the time it came out everyone had finished their meal, and I was ready to go. Oh! and the salad was even gross. It had an odd, plastic-like taste. The whole experience was terrible. The manager did stop by and apologize, but he tried to make an excuse for the poor food that we were served. After I went back and forth with him about how bad it was and the fact that we didn't get to eat with the rest of the family, he took the 2 items off the ticket. My advice, don't go here. Go to the Da Vinci noodle place next door!

We went with a large pageant group to Olive Garden for an early dinner. We had an amazingly helpful server and a delicious meal. We were a large group and Ryan handled us with good humor and care. As we were leaving, he told us we were the best table he had ever waited on. I would definitely return to this Olive Garden.

How do I even start this review? Definitely one of the WORST Olive Garden locations ever. I was there with my husband, my in-laws, and my almost 2 year old nephew super early on a Saturday. They wanted to seat us in the bar area, but it usually gets cold so we asked if we could sit somewhere else. It took 10 minutes to set up our table and there were only 3 other tables occupied. We were sat in the back of the restaurant, which would have been fine, but we could never flag down our waitress when we needed something. And by needing something I mean our drinks were all empty and we couldn't find her when our order came out wrong. We ended up flagging down another waiter and he went to get our waitress. My husband's and brother-in-law's plates looked horrible! The sauce was solid and dry looking, like burnt bits at the bottom of the pot. It was supposed to be a creamy 4 cheese sauce. The manager did end up taking their meals off of the ticket, and giving them new food, but our waitress was still missing until the end of the meal. Our waitress had an attitude when we did see her and we felt bad asking her for anything. We are not problem customers so I guess she was just having an off day. We will think twice before going back to this location. We usually get bad service here so this last visit was basically the last straw.

We went to this Olive Garden during its opening week and had a good experience. The hostess seated our party immediately, which we didn't expect since it was graduation weekend at OSU. Our waitress was slow and we had to make repeated requests for the same things (water, drink refills, a to-go container), but like my fellow Yelper who reviewed this restaurant before I did, we chocked these minor nuisances up to newness of the place. The food was really good and we would go back to this Olive Garden.

I was fasting yesterday and I was thinking hmmm what do I feel like? And suddenly it popped into my head. OLIVE GARDEN! I saw the reviews..hmm not so good. I still gave it a try! I had my wife on the phone and it was kind of an urgent discussion but she's far away at the moment. I entered the restaurant I told them a table for one and I got seated right away and they never made me feel uncomfortable that I was on the phone. The waiter or should I say the bartender/waiter Tom was the best waiter I have ever had, he had so much hospitality! I wanted a strawberry lemonade for a drink and since he is a barista he was able to make it happen! The chicken soup tasted just perfect it got me nearly full. I ordered the chicken Alfredo pizza and it was cooked to perfection as well, and not to forget it was saucy just enough to get that taste that makes you wanna have another bite. I would like to thank Thomas and everyone who helped make such an amazing meal and for this amazing Olive Garden experience. I will definitely revisit!

No stars for this one. I have been to a lot of olive gardens and this one was the worst. We waited more then ten minutes and not one of the many waiters and waitresses came near our table. We waited and no one even took our drink order. We left. Now eating at the Texas road house. Much better. If you don't mind waiting 20-30 minutes for a drink then by all means go Here. If not stay away.

I haven't had a good experience yet. Staff...meh. Food...meh. It's very cookie cutter in the inside as well, none of the charms and oddities of other Olive Gardens.

I'll preface this review by letting you know that we went to this Olive Garden during it's first week of being open. With that in mind my fiancee and I went for a late dinner on Sunday evening. We were seated fairly promptly, but had to wait awhile for our waiter. No problem, they are still new. Next we had to ask for menus and silverware, despite him asking us if we wanted an appetizer and not noticing the lack of menus. Whatever, no big deal. We ordered our appetizer and got salad and bread sticks in a reasonable amount of time. They were of course delicious and the shrimp scampi appetizer was good, but a bit too much lemon. We were having a decent conversation and almost didn't notice how long our entrees were taking until about 40 minutes later the waiter came by, apologized for the delay, and asked if we were doing alright. Didn't bother to look at my glass which had been empty for the previous 10 minutes. At that point, I noticed a couple seated near us that had arrived after us had finished eating and was getting up to leave. Ok, ok they lost our order, understandable, sorta. Another 20 more minutes go by without food (shrimp fettuccine Alfredo and ravioli, nothing exotic) we start to wonder if it's ever coming. In the mean time food for other tables had been brought to us 3 times. It was hard not to just take it! Our food finally arrives and it has clearly been sitting out the entire time. The Alfredo sauce had started drying up and looked unappealing. By this point, I'm pretty upset, but I just want to get done and go home. Then the thing that made me really mad was when the manager comes up to the booth next to us and profusely apologizes to another couple for the delay in getting their appetizer. We were sitting right there, and had been for the past 1.5 hours, and not a word from the manager. Now in Stillwater, OK this is about as fine of dining you can get, so we'll probably come give it another try. Even if you can attribute the problems to opening week chaos, they made no effort to make things better or even acknowledge the fact that we had been there for 2 hours. You may have a better experience than we did, but I doubt it from what I saw. I didn't really review the food, but it's Olive Garden, you've been to one you've been to them all. //Edit: After returning a second time with some friends, the service was improved though annoying. The food was good. I'll go ahead and bump it up a couple stars and hopefully call the first trip an anomaly.

We were seated promptly, and did not receive menus or service for about 15 minutes. Once we got the attention of our waitress she proceeded to ask us if "we just strolled in and sat ourselves." We had not, and coming from previous work at restaurants I found that assumption rude. Everything else was comparable to any other olive garden I've visited.

I am not a person that likes to go to chain restaurants, but olive garden is probably the best lunch in Stillwater! I love the soup, salad, breadstick deal. The service is always good at lunch, but the hostesses can be really annoying and loud if you sit anywhere near the front.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
