If you're looking for Mexican food in stillwater, this is the only place to go. They have a wide, creative menu. The food is great, and the margaritas are generous and tasty.

Best Mexican in Stillwater. Fast service and a great patio in the warmer months. My favorite things are the $3.95 macho mug beers, the chips and salsa, the chalupa with fajita chicken, and the molcajete. The queso has always been great until the past couple times I've noticed its a little off and bland. If you like the place sign up for the punch card.

There are 2 in stillwater & I've eaten here a couple times lately and it takes a while go get seated. Takes a while for a refill on our chips and salsa and when we go up to pay we have to stand around for a long time just to pay. Last time we were there we saw people walk out because they were waiting so long to pay for their meal. Also the staff is pretty rude!!

Absolutely disgusting. Some of the worst food I've eaten anywhere, just plain terrible. If you are giving this restaurant five stars you need mental help. I try to look for something positive in every restaurant I go to, in this case I'm just glad I didn't die. GROSS!!

The fact that the restaurant smelled of bug spray should have been a bad omen. Our fajitas were bland, the guacamole was fair, but the worst was the roach walking up the wall. The reduced our ticket but I probably won't go back.

As far as good Mexican food is concerned it has NO flavor and no where near authentic. Certain things are ok and if you are in a big group they are ok.

Delicious food! It helps if you speak Spanish, but don't let that keep you from stopping by to eat because all of the waitstaff speak English as well. The restaurant itself is on the edge of a park and is immaculately clean inside and out. The service is impeccable and the prices are shockingly cheap considering the quality and quantity of food. One could eat here several times a week without any difficulty. Your wallet and your stomach will thank you, so stop in and leave a generous tip. The staff definitely deserve it.

I really wonder if anyone in Stillwater knows what "great" tex-mex actually is. Let's be honest, this isn't "authentic" Mexican food, it's an attempt to take a bite out of the crowded tex-mex market. My girlfriend and I went here once and we will never be back. We ordered nachos which were covered in disgustingly watery queso. We ordered a side of tortillas and were presented a foil log stuffed with three Mission flour tortillas (I will argue that until the day I die). To top it all off, the easiest part, the absolute hardest thing for a Mexican restaurant to do poorly, the chips and salsa. They too, tasted like they were purchased from Wal-Mart (just down the street, go figure). Honestly citizens of Stillwater, restaurants such as this should make us angry. They believe that they can offer sub par cuisine because they serve a young, cheap, and largely collegiate, clientele. There is absolutely no reason to serve such low quality food and pass it off as "authentic". Please, for the love of God, do not go here. Take pride in your journey toward gluttony. Demand something better.

Absolutely the best queso I have ever had anywhere, and I have tried queso at a ton of restaurants! Great beer and margarita specials. Noteworthy dishes include the tacos (the ones with cilantro, onions, and limes), chicken enchilada, and sopes. The have cheap lunch specials too. Only reason they get 4 stars instead of 5 is that the servers don't all speak English which can get a little frustrating.

They changed the tip amount! Who does that! The people at the one on south Perkins rd are apparently not to be trusted. The food is alright at best and the service I'd questionable but being dishonest like this, come on guys get it together.

If your in Stillwater & in the mood for Mexican food, this is the place to go. This place is better than Mexico Joes "Eskimo Joes resaurant chain". You have to order the ceso "Cheese dip sauce" with the chips, it's good stuff.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
