Tried out Ichiban for lunch a couple of weeks ago. We decided to eat in the hibachi area. I about fell down when taking my seat because the floor was very very slick like it had oil on it or something. The place was pretty dead for lunch, but I guess this is more of a dinner joint. Ordered the lunch special and also an order of shrimp fried rice. The salad that came with the meal was REALLY good. I usually avoid the Japanese ginger based dressing but theirs was creamy and delicious. The rice when it came out was fantastic. The hibachi routine was the same as every other place. Flames, butter, onions, volcano, but that's what you want when you choose to sit at a hibachi. The cook was friendly and trying his best to be entertaining. I would go back but more than likely it would be for dinner and with a group. The other area of the restaurant was nice and clean looking. I will go back again.

I really liked it! I liked that I didn't have to wait in line 30 mins for a grill. I could order the same stuff and a regular table! Will be back!

Birthday celebration. Outstanding service, great quality food, good value for the money spent. The restaurant was very clean and staff was attentive. They were open for lunch. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good hibachi type restaurant.

Well, I don't think I've ever been to a place where I could see my breath in the air. I would estimate that it was approximately 50 degrees inside. The food was good, but I don't think it was $70 good. A tip, don't get the sushi with the cucumber around it. It falls apart and it doesn't necessarily taste that great. I would have to say Osaka's in Broken Arrow was much better. Also, don't eat the mints.

Came here with a friend for lunch on Tuesday. I got the sushi lunch special, which was 2 rolls on a specific list for $10(??) or 3 rolls for $13. The special also comes with salad or miso soup. I chose the crunchy roll, the eel roll, and the yellowtail roll. The miso soup was okay. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't amazing. The rolls were also okay. There was a decent fish to rice ratio, which is always good. What I didn't like, though, was how the menu didn't really tell you what was in the rolls. You had to ask the waitress or gamble. On the positive side, the presentation was REALLY pretty. Service was good. Our waitress continually checked on our waters. And the food didn't take too long to come out Actual restaurant decor was eh. Nothing special about its looks. The hibachi grills were in another room, so you don't see them initially.

The lunch bento set was quite a steal at $8.49. It includes a salad, soup and bento with a choice of appetizer (gyoza, egg roll or cheese wonton) and meat. The breaded chicken tastes better by the way. It's 3 stars because I am really thristy after my meal. I think there is too much msg..

Came back to see if they had improved from my last visit. They did! Staff was much better prepared for the diners. Food was was very good. Decided to to not eat in the hibachi area this time and believe it was part of the reason for the better service. As for the food, the shrimp was cooked perfect and the vegetables were good.

The first couple of times we visited here, we dined at the hibachi table. However, we discovered the regular dining was just as good, if not better. It is rare that you have to wait for a regular table. My favorite is the House Udon Noodles. Chicken, steak and shrimp with these crazy thick chewy noodles!! Incredible!! From what I understand, you can have the same hibachi meal served at your table, but we haven't tried that yet. If you like sushi, try the Honson roll. It compares to another restaurants Hanson roll but better. The only thing that I didn't care for was their Tako salad. The staff is great. Prices are noticeably less than that other restaurant. Ichiban has become one of our favorite places in Owasso.

My husband and I have been here twice already. We haven't tried the hibachi yet, we always sit in the dining room. The last time we went on a Saturday evening and there was quite a wait for the hibachi tables, but we got right in at a regular table. We love the pork gyoza appetizer and the egg rolls. We've tried a couple different sushi rolls and loved them both. The teriyaki chicken and chicken yakisoba are both good, but I think I'll stick to sushi. The house salad and miso soup are exactly the same as every other hibachi restaurant. They also have a full bar. The service is pretty too but can be slow when they are so busy. I think they're still in the early stages of perfecting their routine. Hopefully we'll have an occasion to try the hibachi table soon.

Charlotte or server was sweet...got us everything we needed. Our hibachi grill guy was funny & cooked to order. Portions were plentiful and we are taking home leftovers. I had the salmon & he added teriyaki sauce per my request and it was so good! The chicken was kind of bland even though he added to it. Our party also had steak and that was pretty tasty. We will be back - we didn't realize this type of restaurant was so close to home.
