I love Whiskey and therefore this place. The atmosphere is sultry and cool. The staples like Old Fashions are done well and the seasonal cocktails were unique and delicious. Big selection. All smoking but I heard there will be a non-smoking area soon.

WSKY Lounge is an excellent addition to the bar scene in OKC. Upscale casual atmosphere that has a distinct mix of modern flair and classic lounge feel. The drinks aren't too expensive and they're pretty strong! I came later in the evening but this seems like the perfect place for a happy hour event. So glad I checked it out and can't wait to try more of their interesting cocktails!

WSKY is a great new bar downtown. It is unlike anywhere I've been in OKC. We only had drinks, but I was surprised that they had a complete menu as I thought it was just a bar. The atmosphere and decor in here is really cool. It reminds me of the bootlegger days - very old-school feel, but at the same time very trendy and modern. They had lots of interesting cocktails and we loved the drinks we had. Definitely a cool place and I'm glad it's here!

The food was better than typical pub grub (though salty), but the service was terrible and the bar is smokey. Not to mention, I had to get up three times to ask the server for silverware, water, and the check. Come on...

Best bar we went to in Oklahoma City! Amazing old fashioned and cinamon but in. Friendly service and very helpful. Loved the Mac and cheese options!! Def worth checking out!!

Craft cocktail experts love to tempt patrons into new drinks. WSKY has artists; they take the time to explain, show you their passion and, when all is said and done, present you with an amazing drink. Go- enjoy the great atmosphere, smoke a cigar if you want, but let the bartenders show you their magic. And if you've never had a cocktail with scotch, try the Hearth 'nHome. It was amazing. They make their own flavor syrups and use premiums in their menu cocktails. Also a terrific single malt list. Definitely worth the price for the payoff.

WSKY lounge is a cigar bar and For a cigar bar they are great. The place has a great look and if you are looking for a cool and relaxing place to chill WSKY will provide just that. Their food is average and their speciality drinks are pretty decent. I wouldn't recommend going here if you are looking for a super exciting environment or a really fun night out. This is just a chill place to go sip on a drink and smoke a cigar (if you smoke cigars). I would recommend eating somewhere before and then coming here. They have a decent ventilation system but you will still smell smokey. If you hate that then you should stay away from here.

I come to OKC a few months a year for work. This is my favorite place by leaps and blinds. Cocktails and food are the best in the area.

It took me a while to come here.... I should have decided. The name says part of it. More than just scotch. Good cocktails, very friendly and knowledgeable bartenders! I cannot speak for the food as I have not tried it, but you cannot leave w/o trying their bourbon old fashioned

This place is really great! Love the lighting, the noise level, the interesting people... AND the carry Stranahan's Whiskey! The staff are all knowledgable and more than willing to answer your questions. This is a MUST if you are new to OKC!

Such a pleasant surprise. The spicy Mac and cheese has sriracha and is absolutely the best thing I've had in months!!!! The mufaletta was the bomb!!!!!

I had a wonderful time at WSKY. We came in early at about 5:00pm. There weren't a lot of people in there at the time, and we had the second level of seating to ourselves. The atmosphere was very comfortable and classy. We sat in a huge plush black leather booth. Jules was our server and she was wonderful! She was very attentive and had an extensive knowledge of the drink menu. If you are planning on getting and appetizer you HAVE to get the poutine. It was phenomenal! I tried many different cocktails as well, but my favorite was the Hemmingway. Some of their cocktails can get a bit pricey, but the Hemmingway was only $8 and still crafted with as much care and precision as the other cocktails I had. We also enjoyed some white Mac n cheese for dinner, which was simply amazing. They have a big humidor and you can smoke cigars inside. It is well ventilated and wasn't a problem. We left at around 8:00pm. It was so nice to have spent a leisurely evening in a bar with a wonderful atmosphere! I will be back!

Thank god I'm back in Okc and at the best bar on earth. Nobody can make an old fashioned like these guys, best I've ever had. This probably has to do with the fact that they barrel age their bourbon. Best cocktail program in the city if you are looking for something new and exciting. The bar has a selection of over 250 whiskey's, numerous scotches, cordials, etc. They make their own cinnamon flavored whiskey which puts fireball to shame and is only 3$ a shot. The place also has a unique ambiance & takes you back to the twenties with an old speakeasy feel. The staff is friendly if you are new to the place & always ready to recognize a familiar face. If you live in the Okc area it should be a regular haunt of yours and if not come check it out and have a great scotch with a paired cigar. They have monthly flights of scotch, live jazz on Mondays and Tiki Tuesday's are always fun. But wait I forgot to mention the food; they cure their own meats and anything that leaves the kitchen is freshly prepared from the potato chips to the ranch dressing. A must visit if you are in the Okc area.

This place is great! Truly a place where a guy or gal can relax with a great Burbon and cigar, not to mention a menu that will satisfy your late night craving for something cheesy and flavorful. The cheese fries are tasty and the dipping sauce is even better! Definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in a comforting decor, a quality selection of Burbon and scotch or a nice cigar!

WSKY is a hidden gem in the heart of Deep Deuce and quite a nice transition for restoring some old-school grandeur to this neighborhood.. In fact, I will have to make a habit of bringing out-of-town guests to this place. "Sexy" is probably the best word to describe this bar. The atmosphere is everything. One thing I admire is how they have clearly gone out of their way to make sure the place looks very nice and has a great lounge feel. Comfortable chairs, padded benches with cushion, wall patterns, and very low lighting go very well here. For me the perfect touch of sultriness was the short-cut deep red roses on each table. Some people hate against tvs, but I'm glad they have one in here. (You want your football and basketball fans here too during those seasons, right?) Plus it adds some nice light in there too. :) If you are a cigar smoker, this is a great place for you. They have a selection in their window for you to choose from, but I don't pretend to know anything about that. Because it is a cigar bar, please keep in mind that it is a bit cloudier than the average bar in town. Drinks definitely have the price of any upscale bar in a big city. Their drink menu is very extensive with craft cocktails choices in abundance for every type of fan out there. Manhattans, tequila, gin... chances are they can make something $12 and delicious out of one of these for you. ;) Minus cool points that they only have one stall each for a guy and girl to go to the bathroom. Generally on the "party foul" list in my book for a bar. Service was kind of terse with us and not very friendly, but I guess when you are having a drink, all you can do is say "thank you" as nice as possible and hope they will have a better day! Come check this place out. It's comfortable and intimate.

  • Karen L.

I had such a good time here! Even though this place can get packed, the staff is looking out for you by seating you when there is an available table. You don't have to hunt and grab for yourself. I smoked a cigar for the first time here, and it was great. I loved lounging and relaxing/taking shots (same thing) with my friends. The ventilation is also great so the lounge isn't smoggy at all. Would definitely recommend for a drinking/cigar smoking experience!

  • Craig W.

This place is nearly perfect. Best bar in OKC. It's beautiful yet masculine. Great cigar selection, and the BOOZE. Real bartenders/mixologist that are knowledgeable but rarely pretentious. A must if you're into awesome, unless you just can't stand the sweet aroma of a great cigar you have zero excuse to miss. Actually, I would probably chop off my left pinkie toe to work here.

Came here for the first time on a Wednesday for some drinks. Going on suggestions from other Yelp reviewers, I tried an Old Fashioned and it didn't disappoint! They have $3 shots of their house made cinnamon whiskey right now so decided to try it - it was sweeter than I expected, and didn't burn. Boyfriend and I tried a few of their other cocktails and they were all great! They are pricey (at least $10 each), but the bartenders put effort into each drink and know what they are doing. Also, our guy bartender was friendly and gave us suggestions of food places around (we're new to OKC). We tried the cheese fries - they were just "eh". Pretty sure they just put shredded cheese and some bacon pieces on top then microwaved them. Since they also sell cigars, there is smoking inside, but it is very well ventilated and it didn't bother me. It seems like they have a special vent/air system, plus lots of ceiling fans. This wouldn't be a place to come all the time, but every once and a while would be great. Will most likely be back!

  • Alex H.

Not sure if it's trying to be a cigar bar or a whiskey lounge. It was okay. Seating was awful, but their whiskey selection was great; one drawback: their prices are a couple bucks higher than those of their peers in town, even in the Deep Deuce area.

  • Joe D.

This place is fantastic! Everything is great, food, drinks, ambiance, and the cigars. Stopped in during business trip on a Monday at 4:00pm to smoke a cigar and pound out some emails on my laptop. Didn't leave until 10:00.

  • Moira O.

Won't be returning. Good, if overpriced cocktails. But the white people in our party didn't get carded, while two black people did. When you've had this happen enough times, it's not a coincidence. Don't want to have to deal with this when we're out for a nice night. Bye.

  • Janine B.

Cool spot, we sat near some friendly patrons. I like the decor. It is in a great, walkable area. I wish I had tried some of the food, but we had already eaten. My drink was a creation by the bartender and was pretty good. The fact that hubby can smoke his cigars here, makes this place awesome. My cousin, who loves cigars too & his wife brought us here & we had a great night, nice ambiance, great place to socialize and relax.

  • Scarlet L.

This place completely charms me and successfully seduces me with its coolness. The bartenders know exactly what they are doing. They are creative, talented and passionate with the drinks. I love sitting at the bar and watching them just like watching some artists drawing. This place is THE ONE AND ONLY precious gem for drinks. They make perfect old fashioned. My husband and I love it so much. We did try to make old fashioned as the groom's signature drink during our wedding but it was not as good as WSKY's. You can order anything on the menu and they all taste good because each drink does have a distinctive taste and is made with delicate bartending skills. If you want to boost your experience, go get some cigars. I have to admit that because of WSKY lounge, I am introduced to whiskey and cigars. I might convert my religion from red wine to whiskey....JK! Gosh! Why do I have to review this place on a Sunday night? Writing about this place makes me want to be there right now.

  • Jesse T.

Try an Old Fashioned and a Sazerac! Bourbon is the greatest American contribution to the drinking world. Whether neat, on the rocks, or made into an Old Fashioned, Bourbon is my favorite liquor. WSKY handles it well and doesn't abuse it as some trendy faux-mixologists do. WSKY treats it with the respect it deserves.

  • Agnes S.

I am so disappointed in this place. This was my first time in OKC and wanted to check out a nice place in the neighborhood... went to WSKY Lounge and sat there for 20 minutes until we called a bartender over and got a cigar. He said he would bring us the cigar cutter and ash tray, but nothing came!!! Waited another 20 minutes and left. The service was ridiculous. About an hour wasted with nothing to show for it. Incredibly understaffed.

    (1)
  • Dan E.

WSKY probably shouldn't have let me in, having just finished a 12-hour shift of manual labor (and I know I looked the part), but the staff made me feel like I was a VIP when I was there with my buddies. Taylor was an absolute treasure, taking our orders with swift accuracy, and her knowledge of the drinks and cocktails available was uncanny! Her music-savvy was equally impressive. My Old Fashioneds were likely the best I've ever had, and really hit the spot after a long day. I'll definitely be back very soon!

WSKY Lounge is Oklahoma City's premier whisky club, with over 250 bottles of whisky and almost 400 spirits, alongside a robust selection of classic cocktails, beer, wine and a world-class menu of small plate cuisine. They also offer a variety of the finest cigars available, with a state-of-the-art air filtration system so Jon-smokers don't feel so bogged down with smoke. Located in the historic capital of OKC's jazz community, Deep Deuce, WSKY is actually the original home of the first African American hotel in Oklahoma City. They've done a great job of bringing us back to the 1920s with an old school lounge and keeping us current with new amenities. My first trip here was exactly what I was looking for. I spent many Saturday nights in New Orleans at amazing jazz lounges and I truly feel that WSKY has brought something special and unique to Oklahoma City.

Food - Just okay. Normally I would doc stars, but what can I say, I just love this darn place. And really you don't come here for the food. Drinks - The best in the city. - Get an old fashioned. You won't regret it. Service - Drinks can take a while and I frequently am not offered a second. But the drinks are complex and it's definitely expected to take a while. Atmosphere - Awesome - Don't come if you can't stand the cigar smoke though. - They keep their TVs uncovered year round now.

My experience at WSKY Lounge - which just opened about two months ago - was top-notch. While on travel in OKC I discovered it was just a couple of blocks form my hotel (thank you, Yelp). I went there for drinks and a cigar. I asked the bartender for a "bartenders choice...something vintage-era and dry." He made me a Boulevardier (and a big one at that), consisting of rye whiskey, sweet vermouth, Campari, and lavender bitters, garnished with a big shaving of freshly cut orange peel. It literally may have been the best cocktail I've ever consumed. Further, the cigar menu is varied but not overkill and the ventilation at the bar itself was brilliant. My cigar was dynamite (a wee bit dry but not overly so) and bothered no one. Finally, their whiskey menu had about 50 options of single malt Scotches alone. I'm from DC where there are some good whiskey bars, but this one took the cake...err...the peat! Bartender was exceptionally friendly but not bothersome and - a true mark of a great bartender - was excited when I gave him the go-ahead to get creative on my first of three drinks. The second was a Lagavulin Distillers Edition 1996 and the third was a High West Campfire whiskey. It should be illegal to let anyone have three such grand slams in one location. Ridiculous! I'll go back for certain, as this bar may be my Earthly version of heaven. Cheers, WSKY!

I was very impressed with my first experience at WSKY. A hidden gem quietly tucked away just north of Bricktown, it's close enough to the activities downtown without being flooded with crowds or rowdy people who are just walking by and want to check it out. The atmosphere is superb. You can definitely tell the owner has a taste for quality. The set up is cozy but not crowded, and was accommodating for both a romantic date or a medium sized group. As a non-smoker, I was able to enjoy my drink while my friends smoked cigars and I could instantly see the smoke being pulled away by the ventilation- a telling sign of a quality cigar bar. Our waitress was wonderful and well-versed on the menu, a definite must for a bar with such an array of spirits. I ordered the Boulevardier which had great balance, flavor, and presentation. The lavender bitters was a nice touch. This bar is one-of-a-kind for Oklahoma City and provides a wonderful experience. I will definitely be coming back!

Arrived after my friends had been served. I'd been once before and it was fine. The place has a classy air, possibly pretentious, and based on the drink prices, they're pretty proud of themselves. This particular occasion, I sat for 15 minutes before I realized no one behind the bar had any interest in serving me at my table. 3+ employees wandering around. I thought "hey, maybe they just didn't realize I had arrived or maybe I don't look like a drinker." I strolled up to the bar to get a drink, where I was greeted by a nice gentlemen who was happy to help. As long as I did the legwork, I suppose. Later, my underpoured $9 Jack neat exhausted, I hoped someone on staff would finally notice I was in need. No luck. I stared employees straight in the face to make sure they saw me see them ignore me. I confirmed with my friends that I was in fact visible in this plane of existence, so I'm not sure why no one wanted my money. I got another drink from the bar. It will be my last. The hipsters can have it. Cool drink ideas, if you don't mind a $50 tab.

Very disappointed... there aren't more places like this out there. This is a rare gem and no wonder it gets packed some of the time. But its charm and atmosphere are one of a kind. For those looking for a place where they can have quality drinks and smoke cigars while relaxing and just enjoying life, this is the place to be.

Nice place, but super smokey. Like, you should leave your jacket in the car and plan to take a shower immediately after leaving. Whatever you do, dont go to bed first. Good potential though, lots of little booths and corners to sit in. Just switch to non-smoking and I'd give it 5 stars. Also also needs more IPAs

  • Laura H.

Enjoyed my visit to WSKY. Usually don't like cigar bars because of the smoke, but this place isn't smokey. The cocktails range from the standards to the unexpected and all are done well. You must, must, must try the bacon fig appetizer. And get your own because you won't want to share.

My husband and I love this place! Its wonderful for a cigar and a drink. I really love their hummus, the Garlic is my favorite. I love the originality in their signature drinks! We had the Campfire, Their Cigars are a little high, but its the nature of the beast.

  • Joshua L.

I was introduced to this place by a friend who raved about how they serve $3 shots - which is great but I was really expecting the worst. When I eventually visited this place for the first time I was surprised to see that it's a pretty, classy joint. Minus the cigar smoke I love the decor and laid back atmosphere. Most importantly, the drinks and food are affordable and taste great in spite of the cost.

I have been here several times and I'm always impressed! Relaxed atmosphere, good drinks, and their Mac n cheese is to die for! Very modernized place and is perfect for OKC!

My hubby and I have been wanting to check the place out but it's always been so busy. We stopped in Sunday and I'm SO glad we did. There were maybe less than 10 of us including staff and we had the best time. Met a friendly gentleman (Bryan) who suggested some drinks for us and the bartender was very friendly and attentive. She made me a few of the new cocktails and I was very pleased with the freshness and unique taste they had. A few drinks later, we opt for a cigar and another bartender had brought me in to show me some I might like. We enjoyed the cigars and a few more drinks before heading home. Overall, it was a great first experience full of laughs, new friends, new drinks, and a new fave place to relax. Great staff and ambiance.

The only nice things I can say about this bar are the drinks were mildly inventive and the decor was nice. Other than that I will NOT return to WSKY Lounge. I was there one rainy night with friends having a nice time enjoying drinks and other goodies. After two people left our party the manager came over and asked us if we could leave now because a larger party needed our seats. What?!?! Are you f$%!ing serious. We still had drinks to finish and it was pouring down rain outside. So we said we are nearly done so we will be heading out soon. The manager came back, I'm not kidding you 5 minutes later, to ask us again if we could leave now (not in a polite, hospitable way) because a larger party really needed our seats. Our drinks were still not finished, but we left anyway straight out in the rain. I would advise that you not visit this spot unless you prefer to treated like trash.

The atmosphere is extremely unique, and in itself is the hook. It is extremely warm and welcoming, and fits the uniqueness of the bar as a lounge. Extremely tasteful and very classy, one feels welcomed, and feels like they could sit for hours pondering the deeper thoughts in life. The bartenders are extremely knowledgeable in their trade and craft, knows how to mix any IBA beverage with perfection, as well as knowing their cigars. They also make hands down one of the best old fashioned's I have ever had, extremely well made, and same goes for their other drinks. Definitely not a sloppily made drink one would get at a dance club. Great place to grab a few drinks with friends or a date, or even a solitary night cap. The only issue I have is it is a little pricey, which in paying for quality I have no issue, as well as the seating arrangements are slightly uncomfortable. If you sit in one of the chairs it is fine, however the booth seats aren't that great. Favorite bar in Oklahoma City, and a must stop for anyone who likes a good atmosphere and a professionally made drink.

Absolutely best Old fashioned around. Great environment, new school flare on old school. A lot more laid back and the Kobe beef sliders are an absolute most. Also along with a great staff, it's in such an environment that toucan hear and enjoy the company you are there with. Fantastic establishment

I'd really give it 4.5 stars if I could. The place is damn near perfect for a true cigar lounge in this modern era. Alas there is minor area for improvement. The exterior looks like a place you want to hang out in. No doubt the retro radio station call sign enhances that image. Inside a great looking well stocked bar, well dressed staff, warm earth tone colors. The lighting and seating hit the perfect mix of classic cigar lounge and urban trendy. Back ground music hits the right note and volume level for easy casual conversation. The staff are friendly and seem to have a real knowledge for what they serve. Pleasant surprise is the small menu, in that most places can't serve food in a cigar lounge. Pub fare meets gourmet for example the delish Kobe Beef Sliders. The "Scotch List" is over kill for the average user but for the well healed with ample cash to spend go ahead impress your friends with the selections. There were a few examples of excellent attentive customer service that my party noticed and appreciated. Probably the third most important item in a cigar lounge of this modern era is ventilation. It is excellent to the point that a non-smoker could eat and spend time there with no issues. As we enjoyed our premium sticks we almost wished the creamy smoked lingered just a bit longer. Easily a place to make a special night out with cigar enthusiast friends or with a little self restraint your daily place to HERF. The humidor is a little on the lean side for a big city cigar lounge. Choose the comfortable chairs over the upright bench/booth seating when burning a 90 minute stick. Port which pairs well with many cigars is absent for the liquor/wine list. I'll be back and wish WSKY much success.

Kind of small, very hip and cool, yet warm. Sounds confusing, right? I don't know. I call it like I see or feel it. I don't smoke, and don't usually care for smoky places, but for some reason the cigar smoke here did not bother me. Went with a friend and we sat at bar. I had a whiskey drink that the bartender suggested. It was delicious and strong. Wish I could remember what it was, I will say, nothing on the menu looked bad. We had already eaten unfortunately, because I wanted to try several items on the food menu. Next time for sure.

Stopped in here early Friday night after dinner to check it out. As a fledgling whiskey drinker, this place piqued my interest after hearing about it opening up. The place is cozy without feeling crowded. The bar and some seating greets you when you walk in with more seating and a humidor in the upper area behind the bar. We were greeted quickly, and our order was taken shortly after selecting a seat. The whiskey/bourbon list was extensive, and, for the most part, it felt fairly priced. The wife ordered the Hemingway Daiquiri and loved it. I sampled a couple Islay scotches that were tasty. I may even look into getting a bottle of the Bruichladdich for the house. :) A few of the groups around the place were enjoying a cigar, but the lounge's filtration system was doing a good job of not making the aroma from the cigars overwhelming. Surprisingly, seeing others enjoying their cigars made the wife and I consider giving them a try sometime in the future. Overall, the WSKY Lounge was a nice place to stop in and relax. Close enough to Bricktown to walk there, but just far enough away to feel less hectic than the rest of the area.

Came here with four others on Friday night around 9. Waited 20 min for service, started to stand up when Ruth came and finally greeted us. Okay, they're busy...that's kind of understandable. When ordering, we verified the price of our drink, and she said yes, it is $5. After ordering, 5 min later she came back with everyone's drinks but two. 15 min after that, I noticed she was sitting at a table across from us, gossiping about dating, and we STILL had not received the two drinks. I went up to the bar and got my own drinks that were sitting there for who knows how long. I asked for my check, she brought it and my drink was double the price that we verified before ordering. When we told her, all she said was, "Sorry," and walked away. After posting this review, the owner reached out to me directly and assured me that this is not the standard for this business. I was so impressed that he took the time and concern that I changed my rating. This place has great potential...the menu and atmosphere are wonderful. We are willing to try this again in hopes of better service.

NEW FOOD MENU!!! They have pork belly on the new menu too - Foodies can appreciate the value that holds when it comes to a well constructed classy menu. For those who cringe at pork belly, don't worry, so much more for you. They also have a variety of sandwich creations. The best Old Fashion in the city - they use the good cherries (I call them "the real cherries"). The drink and food menu were well planned and executed perfectly. Experience Art if you will, the art of cocktails and food. The hummus plate is a nice appetizer treat for me because I love flavor and variety. Hummus isn't normally something you associate "a lot of flavor" with, but WSKY put flavor in theirs and it works....it works very well. And there are not a lot of places you can order Fernet, you can here and they make drinks with them too. The drink, wine, and whiskey menu is pleasing to all palettes. Must check out the cigar room and their hidden TVs. Great addition to downtown. Looking forward to an outdoor patio.

Artists. These bartenders are in a league of their own. This is my first review and I've been using yelp for a while now, so it's safe to say this place will have a great impact on anyone. Best drinks in OKC by far, extremely classy, great place to either hang out with your buddies and kick back, or take a girl out on an elegant date. Donnie is the best bartender in OKC, and can give a bunch of bartenders I've met back home in NYC a run for their money. Go now.

First of all this place is located perfectly in the Deep Deuce District. When you walk in you instantly notice the gorgeous Bar. You get a sense that who ever is running the place, takes pride in how you feel when you enter this bar. Comfortable seating and perfect lighting. The small food menu is just right, it gives you more time to go over their deep menu of spirits and cigars. It is nice to have a place like this in downtown again. I have missed this type of bar. Obviously it won't be for everyone, but if you like an intimate bar with skilled Craftsmen behind the cocktails and an owner that is on site, this is your place.

This place is top-notch...great drinks, great food and awesome service. Try the Old Fashioned, one of the best cocktails in OKC!

Just a great experience! Just like walking into a speakeasy from 1920. Great place for a dinner/night out/cigar with a friend.
