Pats 12oz Ribeye w baked potato. One of the best steaks I've had in a while. In a smaller town this place was good. I will be back to this place sometime. The steak was cooked perfectly and very juicy.

$10 for a spinach dip that only took 4 chips to clear it all!!! And when we confronted the manager about the paltry little serving, his response was "Yes, would you like to buy another?" Seriously, we've seen better management at a taco truck. We are long time Saltgrass customers, but they're driving us to Charleston's every time we run into this young punk of a manager. Grant would never let a customer be dissatisfied.

Absolutely amazing meal. We started with the Spinach Artichoke dip and it was superbly done. I order the Filet medium rare with the stuffed BBQ shrimp. The filet was brought out rare but they had no problem fixing it quickly. The manager even brought an extra baked potato to the table. The filet was like butter in your mouth. My husband had the lunch Gulf coast strip and shrimp rare and it was perfection. The waiter was great. I have to say that we love this restaurant and this is our second time here and we will be back again.

One of my new favorite places to dine. Had the stuffed chicken stuffed with artichoke, spinach, and sun dried tomatoes for a sides the salad and garlic mash. Our server was attentive and charming. Amazing both service and food.

This place used to be great. We went there many times from about 2007-2011. Steaks cooked to order, staff that seemed to care, and reasonable prices. Our last three visits here (2013 and 2014) have all ended with some level of disappointment. The first time it happens, you think "no problem, they are always so good." The second time, you say "hmm...this is concerning. We'll wait awhile before we come back." And now with the third failure in a row in 2014, we probably will not go back. On both of the last two visits, we politely told our waiter about the issue, and got the standard "would you like us to remake it?". On both visits, the food was tolerable, although incorrect, we declined the offer to wait again for the food. In the first case, both steaks were clearly overcooked. On the second visit, my wife and I had steaks that seemed cooked for each other. On both visits, a manager came by and seemed stunningly apathetic about the issue. Not rude by any means, but very indifferent. Unless I hear that they have cleaned house and started over with a new staff, I will not be going back.

Came back again right after my convocation ceremony. The salads have changed a little. Lettuce pieces are larger and a bit more unwieldy. I ordered the Pat's Ribeye and a side of the fried onions. Ribeye was flavorful and enough for a second meal. Everything would have been perfect if not for our waiter constantly taking our plates before we were finished. Towards the end I had to keep one hand on my plate at all times to keep it in front of me.

I have eaten here a couple of times, service continues to be an issue for me. The wait staff is serving tables in multiple areas and hinders the attention they need to give to each table. This trip I ordered a grilled chicken and shrimp with a side of asparagus, i waited and waited and the waitress came by 3 times to tell me the food was coming out and about 10 minutes later she finally delivered my plate the chicken was cooked okay, the shrimp were so small the cook hid them under pieces of onion, I would have hid them as well they were tiny decent flavor but to small for this type of plate they would have been well suited for salad shrimp. Not what I expect when I am sold on a chicken and shrimp combo. Saltgrass normally does a good job in other locations, I would fire the manager here as he sat in the bar the whole time flirting with someone he new well. He needs to check on what is going on with all the tables in his restaurant and less attention on one person, he need to support his staff better than this. It will be a long time before I eat here again.

They took my Gluten Free order very serious, and though it took a bit longer I appreciate the detail they took into making it properly. Delicious food & great service from our waitress Gage as well as the manager Laura. I love finding a place that I can trust to eat and not worry about my Celiac Disease.

Ate dinner tonight around 7:30 which is late for us. We all ordered different things and nothing was very good. Mediocre at best. Well, my wife liked her filet, but that was it. The "Top Cut" sirloin I ordered had a LOT of gristle for something described as top cut and costing $18. I was surprised and disappointed. The waiter had to be reminded to get bread, gravy to go for some chicken strips and my wine. It also didn't show up on the bill so I reminded him. Maybe it was just a bad night, but I would not recommend it and I would not go back. Outback is way more consistent for the money I paid tonight.

The restaurant was clean, the service was good and the food was well presented. But the food we had was mediocre and I would be inclined to say the cost was closer to $$$ than $$. My ribeye was okay and the ribs my son had were pretty good. The shrimp embrochette seemed strange to the taste. My Caesar salad was very good and the ingredients were fresh? I think the best item was the baked sweet potato. The fresh "Shiner" bread was also quite good. I might try this place again, but I would get the filet mignon.

If you need to make a decision about eating in Norman...Saltgrass is the place to go! The food was amazing! I had the grilled shrimp and it was awesome! It is marinated in their special sauce and cooked to perfection. The appetizer I had was the fried mushrooms. For the people who live in or near Norman, the fried mushrooms might beat hideaway's! You could find out for yourself. The baked potato is a great side too. Smothered in butter and under that is melted cheese. You can get sour cream and any other toppings too. The service was great too. My waiter was very attentive and came right away when you needed something. Overall this is a fantastic place to eat.

Dined with a group. My New York strip was good but had lots of gristle. Another member of our group got the ribeye and he said it was really fatty also. Two other members of our group ordered burgers. While they were waiting for their condiments, the manger walked by our table and asked ho we were doing. Those of us that were eating said we were dine. These guys hadn't took a bite of their burgers yet. When they started eating them they had to stop halfway through because they were so burnt. We notified our waiter who said there was nothing they could do, because we said everything was fine when the manager asked us. We asked to speak with the manager and show her the burgers that looked like chunks of asphalt. She refused to credit them for the burgers, and only offered another burger or a free desert. After posting my review, I was contacted by telephone by someone from their corporate office. He seemed genuinely concerned, and assured me that this issue was being addressed with the manager at this location.

Overpriced and overcooked steaks I'd go to Outback anyday over this place. They always have excellent filets and are reasonably priced.

It's a Saltgrass and you get exactly what you should expect to get from a chain. I walked over here from my hotel to grab a bite and catch the Rangers game on a tv. Unfortunately their tv situation in the bar area is pretty awful and I had to strain my neck to watch it. So I plowed my food down and got back to the hotel so I could watch. Ok so on to the food.....I had the grilled chicken and grilled shrimp combo but the chicken came out with some kind of marinade on it. I'm trying to watch my figure so I didn't want a marinade but I didn't want to send it back b/c I had to get back to the hotel to watch the game! (It's the playoffs) The chicken was actually really tasty and moist. Shrimp were shish-ka-bob style with a few veggies thrown on the plate. Hit the spot but the salad that comes out with the meal was doused in dressing. Note to all out there....ask for the dressing on the side.

Just as good as the last time, I always order the Ribeye and a Caesar salad. The baked potato was piping hot and fluffy, the salad was crispy and delicious, the steak perfectly cooked. If I had to bitch about anything it would be that the waiter was OVERLY attentive! Haha. A great place to go for a special occasion dinner like a birthday. We were too full to eat dessert - maybe next time. I also like the upside down steer head hanging over the entrance to the bar for all of us O.U. Fans!

Pretty sure that a three figure tab for two people deserves more than a moderate food price rating. Do the right thing, for your paycheck's sake, and go to Roadhouse instead. Steaks are just as good and starting with a dinner roll was like having dessert as the first course. The dinner roll with the cinnimon butter tasted just like a donut....that can't be healthy. Saltgrass price update: $$$$$$

It's a chain with nothing in particular to brag about. I think the steaks may be better at Western Sizzlin. Service is decent and the restaurant is predictable. Norman offers a variety of other local restaurants and chains that might be a better value.

It's a spacious steakhouse with decor apt for a carniverous appetite (heads of deer framed, whips, hooks, etc...). This place will be bustling on the weekends, so plan for a small wait. Fortunately it's spacious and the staff is on the ball, so you won't be enviously staring at others' plates of food for long. And the service was quick and friendly. I forgot what I ordered, but it was pretty darn satisfying though for a special. And my two companions also enjoyed their main and side portions as well. We didn't come in expecting anything, so we asked the cook to decide how the meat should be prepared based on our orders. I mean, why should I dork up a good piece of meat? Overall I'd highly recommend this place to be the prime steakhouse for OKC.
