Easy lunch choice. Not a lot to rave about. It's just good. Well, actually, it's excellent for late-night eats when you've been out and about on the Campus Corner.

I really like this place for lunch! Its light and good. Pretty decent price too. If you get the college coupon you and a friend can eat for like $13 dollars and that includes the pita sandwich, with chips and a drink.

I'm still thinking about the Pita Pit weeks later. Basically, this place is right next to some bars and is open late, so it's designed specifically for the late night crowd and in its mission, it fully succeeds. A variety of pitas, all wonderful, and fast service. I got a gyro and it was awesome and the guys I was out with chose against getting one...they quickly regretted it after we left. Three cheers for the Pita Pit! The pinnacle of late-night dining.

I am wishing there was a Pita Pit in my town. I love baba ganoush and this place knows how to deliver. I had a baba ganoush, alfalfa sprout, cucumber, and tzatziki sauce pita. I smiled the entire time I was eating. It was good, no excuse me, GOOD!

I ordered via delivery, which was carried out by a third party so I won't blame Pita Pit for the fact that my food arrived so late. I ordered the 2-pita+drink+chips meal. I requested one falafal pita and one eggplant pita. Both were tasty, but I can't say for sure that the eggplant pita actually had any eggplant in it. It had a lot of crumbled falafal in it, and it seemed like they shook out the bottom of the falafal pan instead of giving me eggplant. Kinda disappointing.

This place sucks. Went up to Norman to watch Texas Tech do work on OU (mission accomplished) and my OU buddy suggested pita pit as a late night dining experience after a couple of suds. After repeatedly asking the cook to toss pieces of meat in my mouth like a hibachi grill, the cook instructed me to continue down the line, denying me of my pre meal appetizer. My other friend was at the register when he realized he had misplaced his wallet. The person manning the register suggested he put a chain on his wallet. My friend simply replied "a chain? Really?" The food was subpar. I have had better pita at my Iranian friends house, Kyle. I gave them my verbal review the following night, after a couple suds of course.

Horrible service. Will NEVER order from them again. Manager hung up on me and was VERY rude. My sister thought it was just me and called back a bit later, she was treated the same way. We never received our food that she ordered and we never called back. Never will!

Oh Toby Keith....I'm so glad you got Garth on the bill for the Twister Relief Concert. We got there WAY too early in the hot Oklahoma sun (nothing compared to Texas, but felt like I had to whine a bit) and decided to go get a bite to eat. Being vegan, we have very limited options for delicious food. We had always wanted to try Pita Pit, but never did. This was the perfect time, since there was one in walking distance. We stood in line forever, because every hillbilly bro decided to go to the Pita Pit, as well. We ordered the Falafel Pita with Hummus in the microwave, not on the grill, because of all of the nasty chunks of meat residue left. When it came time for mine, I saw the girl put the falafel get put on the grill.... I tried to get the girl's attention but it was SO loud and packed and I didn't want her to feel like I was yelling... so I waited. My pita artist (what?!) was Sean and he was GREAT. I asked him if those were my falafels on the grill, and he said they were... and asked if I was vegetarian, he could just have them microwaved. I told him we were vegan and we did ask for them microwaved, but if he doesn't mind. He was so sweet and immediately told her... the ticket did say microwaved but it was so busy, so it was missed. He then proceeded to tell everybody on his team that we were vegan and that we can't have anything with or from animals on our pitas. After that, he took a clean cloth and thoroughly cleaned the area where you make the sandwiches (down the line) to make sure no residue was on there. He then put down an extra sheet of thin paper to build our pitas. This went way above and beyond anything I expected and I was really impressed. He was so patient, nice and knowledgable. The pita was DELICIOUS and I wish there was one in Dallas... not just Denton.

Simple food geared towards college kids, which sits on Campus Corner (of OU). As the name implies, they serve.. pitas! You essentially pick your meats and they warm it up, along with a pita wrap (white or wheat). Then, you move down the line to their veggies and sauces and pick what you want. It's very "Subway"-esque. The staff is friendly and helped our indecisive minds. I ended up getting the gyro, and after they rolled it up, all the veggies ended up on one side, which bothered my OCD-ness of having things even. It definitely didn't taste as good as my favorite place in Atlanta nor did it compare to the ones I've had in the streets of Greece. The guys let us sample anything we wanted and made light conversation since it was pretty dead in there. It was after the typical dinner time but before the drunk/"munchies" rush, if you catch my drift. The guy was quite proud of the fact they had one of those nifty soda machines that dispenses a million different things. I had to break it to him that they're quite common in Atlanta lol. They are open INCREDIBLY late, my guess is to accommodate and BANK off of all the people in the rush I aforementioned, stumbling in from the pubs and bars around the corner. Smart. ;)

Clean restaurant, good, cheap food, consistent quality and they have one of those cool soda machines that adds extra flavors if you want. Just avoid it late at night, as it will be full of drunks and stoners.

Way better than Subway. Around 10 sauce choices, free double meat Tuesday's, vegetarian options, and tons of ingredient choices. Grill your veggies!! Cons: lines can be long during peak, but worth the wait!

Everything on the menu is great! This place is great for a quick bite with real food that won't kill you slowly with hormones and pesticides! Lol

This place is like a lot of cheesesteak places in Philly. Open late, right around the corner from a bunch of bars, your typical drunk-eats type of place, and that it does well. You get to pick a meat for your pita then a bunch of awesome toppings that really stand out when you're *ahem* under the influence. I remember getting a steak pita with lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, onions, and guacamole...well, I don't really so much remember what I got as much as I saw it splattered all over my friend's bathroom floor the next morning (sorry Nick). In all seriousness, this place is awesome to hit up after a night at the bars.

The Pitas here are great! I love the spicy black bean pita and the gyro pita! Both are great and delicious! A great place to stop by if you are needing a good lunch!

There are lots of things about Norman that make me feel old. Like pants. As in, I wear them. Everyone wears leggings-as-pants or even shorts on a freezing cold day. What's with that? Does that make me old? Anyway, one of the things that didn't make me feel old was the customer service in Pita Pit. The manager was behind the register and was really nice and didn't ma'am me even once! For some reason*, I forgot that it is like Subway in that you order your sandwich type and then stay at the counter to tell them what you want on it. I sat down and was lost in my buttons (as in on my phone) and another nice guy behind the counter politely asked me to return. You can add any of the veggies to the grill, but most of what I added didn't seem to fit that model, so I stuck with cold veggies. So here's where I explain why I gave it a three: It really is a lot like Subway on a pita (PitaWay?). Maybe I ordered wrong (turkey with veggies add guacamole), but I was underwhelmed. With chips and a water it was under $10, and I think I could get a pretty solid $9 lunch at a lot of places on Campus Corner. It was pretty dead in there at noon on a weekday, so I may not be alone in this. If I'm in a pinch leaving campus around lunchtime again, I might give it another try and order something more adventurous and maybe warm, but I don't think I will be seeking it out again anytime soon. *There's a fairly good chance that my PP memory is foggy because this was a great place to stop after the bars closed back in my day. Wait, does that make me old too?!

I've been continually disappointed with this location due to the inexperience of people they have making pita's. I love feta, but the amount of feta the girl put on my pita today would make anyone feel sick. To me it doesn't seem like they are thinking of the proportions of what they're putting on your sandwich and how it would taste together.

It has been quite sometime since I've been this disappointed in a food establishment. They are about as authentic as Taco Bell is Mexican...except TB at the least tastes semi good.
