Love the sesame chicken and fried rice! A little over priced for a order at the counter type of place but it is yummy!!

Went here with a friend for lunch. We ordered 3 rolls. They bring us 2 plates with 2 rolls. The waitress says the other roll is coming....we wait wait until we finally ask them for the 3rd roll but they said they brought it. They then sent a manager out to tell us the same thing. I'll Never go back here. Try Volcano sushi 1 mile south of here it's much better and respect their customers 10 fold. $24 for 2 sub par rolls. I've never been accused of lying, especially when my receipt proved we ordered 3 rolls! Horrible business practice.

Absolutely love this place. The sushi always tastes fabulous, and the Miso soup is one of the best I have had. I have tried the Jungle roll, Big Bird, Crimson and Creme, spicy tuna, and the Victory roll (not on the menu, but fabulous) I have had quite a few others as well. Food is always great, and the people here are wonderful as well. I always come back to this place for a quick sushi bite!

Overpriced. Low quality sushi. Bad customer services. I'll admit that it's convenient and somewhat affordable(bc you don't give tips) but I would rather go to a fine sushi restaurant and get what I paid for. My fiance and I ordered two rolls and tempura udon to share. Udon's portion was so small I thought they brought left-over from the other table lol never going back and I don't recommend this place.

If you're craving sushi and don't want to dine in.. this is the place to go. Definitely not the worst I've tried but not the best either. I ordered salmon roll, spider roll, tuna roll, and octopus salad. I don't see myself going here regularly but it'll be in the back of my mind if I'm short on time.

I love sushi! I love watching people make sushi! The food is amazing and so is the service. I love the bento boxes. Such a great variety of food and the perfect amount for lunch. The setting is awesome and it's a great place to meet up with friends.

Sorry. NoNo Sushi? Let me clarify I have been eating the freshest sushi livin in Hawaii for many years. If this dining experience was my first time eating sushi, I may have been ruined for life. It was just fishyyyyy...which shouldn't be the case. perhaps that just a product of serving raw fish in the middle of America. Save your sushi experiences for coastal cities of you can. Just me two cents. On a positive note...the tempura was on point! Aloha :)

My favorite sushi place. I'm not a sushi snob, nor am I into "authentic sushi", but I think it's the best sushi for the price. Godzilla roll is by far the best. Good value and great service.

Short, but sweet: Date night. We wanted to try something new. The man zone hasn't tried Gogo and I haven't been to this location. Let's give it a whirl! Ordered a bento box. Salmon fully cooked, pretty yum. Tempura = bombtastical- missing sauce, but meh. Still good! IMO Cali roll = no bueno. Contents? Cucumber and shrimp. Avocado? No. Hmph! Shrimp was soaked in ginger H2o (I think?). I know ginger is used to cleanse the palate, but it left my mouth with a not so friendly after taste. If you're a fan of ginger, then you'll like this :) My better half ordered Korean BBQ short rib hibachi. Verdict? YUM! Thinly sliced squash and shrooms. All veggies fully cooked and soft. Sauce = savory saucy goodness. Rice = average. Flashbacks of "Jiro Dreams of Sushi" still haunt me today. Watch that movie if you're a sushi fan! Service = awesome. Super duper friendly people. P.S. Sushi roll menu is prettttttyyyy big. Couldn't decide on just one. P.P.S They're hiring PT employees. Your welcome :D

Decent Sushi in Moore Oklahoma. I love me some sushi and this sushi will do when I don't want to drive to neko or fly to Vegas. I do love me some sushi though. This is decent sushi. Nothing to write home to mom about but decent sushi. You order at the counter and they bring it to you at the table. Not a fan of this because I feel like I am in a fast food line and can't make up my mind, know the people behind me are waiting. So I rush my decision. The restaurant is wide open with TV's on the walls, The staff seemed friendly. Like I said in a hurry and want some sushi while in Moore this seems to be the place. As well it is close to the Warren so maybe even a date night combo.

Went here years ago and never wrote a review. Me and my brother had an awesome time. Whenever I come to visit my bro we always go out for sushi. This place had great service and great tasting sushi.

I ordered the bento box around lunch time and it was pretty good. The California rolls weren't the best I've had but they were good. The meat I chose was salmon, and I don't get to eat fish a lot so in my completely not expert opinion, it was very good salmon. The salad was like any other salad, but the dressing was very tasty so it knocked it up a notch in that respect. The fried rice was decent enough. The price range is very doable. I prefer Volcano, but I was hungry and wanting Asian past the time of Volcano's cheap lunches. They asked if I wanted fried rice or steamed, so I chose fried rice, naturally! After paying for my food an eating it at home, I looked at the receipt and noticed that fried rice was -extra-! Would have been nice to know that.

This is by far one of the best places to get sushi/Japanese food in the Norman/Moore/OKC area. Not only do I love it, but my husband's family and family friends who are all Japanese love it. This is a cheery family-owned spot. It can get busy, but they move the lines along quickly and have a great number system so you can sit down and wait for your food to come to you. There's a drink station for beverages and free refills whenever needed. Expanding helped them create an even trendier and efficient space. I have had lunch, dinner & carry-out from them and every time the food is delicious. I usually get the Bento Box lunch. You choose your main dish (I always get the shrimp tempura and I am NEVER disappointed! Always cooked perfectly) and then it comes with a side of rice, miso soup, California roll and a little salad that has a yummy homemade ginger dressing. For dinner, my husband and I split a bunch of different rolls and leave extremely full & satisfied. They have all types from clean & lean, to tempura fried with lots of mayo, to all the spicy options. Everything is always fresh. Gogo is a quick and quality cure for your sushi craving whether you have more adventures that evening or want to eat from the comfort of your home. AND it won't break your budget. Even better.

For Oklahoma it's stellar! I like it better than Shiki and it's MUCH quicker... The food is very fresh.

I had been looking for a place in the OKC area that provides quick sushi and at a decent price and I found it here at Gogo Sushi Express! I ordered a Bento Box that consisted of tempura shrimp, california rolls, tempura vegetables, steam rice, and I believe if I remember correctly some terriyaki chicken, it was plenty of food and tasted pretty good for what I was expecting. The ordering process at this place is interesting, you order first and then are given a sign flag for your order to put on your table and then they bring the food to you when it's ready, for someone who hasn't done this style of ordering before it can be a bit confusing but I had been to places like this in southern california and I felt right at home with the establishment. Other cool thing... they have a soda fountain for you to get as much drinks as you want and they give you a clear plastic collectors cup that I was happy to take home! Also they have both chopsticks and silverware for you to choose from for whatever your in the mood for Prices were reasonable $10-12 range If you want some quick sushi at a casual dining place check out go go sushi!

My first real experience with sushi so please know this is coming from an uneducated palate (thanks for the correction... HA). I was trying different stuff so I had the California Roll and the Philly roll. I also tried the Spicy Cajun roll my buddy got. This is the way I would rank them. The Cali Roll was pretty tasty at number one. The Cajun Roll was a close second. And while still good, the Philly came in a distant third comparatively. I told the lady at the counter it was the first time I was having sushi and asked if I made a good choice. She said I did but that I wasn't very adventurous. Haha!!! For both rolls and tip it was $12... I couldn't finish it all and I was STUFFED! Will not order so much next time. I'd say that overall it was pretty good and will definitely go back to spread my wings a little bit... Update, This is one of my favorite places now. Cheap and close, can't ask for more. Staff and chefs are all friendly and if you want something not on the menu they are more than willing to make your dream come true. Too many great rolls to say in this review. The hibachi food is pretty awesome too! Volcano Roll, Sugar Mama, Crunchy Crab, Cajun Roll, Sweetheart Roll, Gogo Roll, and the Gyoza, and Shrimp Shumai.... All good stuff!

  • Meo H.

Sushi wasn't all that bad but there was too much rice so it took away the taste of the fish. The quality of the fish wasn't as good as I hoped. Price was a tad bit pricey for the quality received. Miso soup was okay. Staff was friendly though.

  • Silver G.

It's average. I suppose for non-coastal sushi, it's better than average and the pricing, especially on bento boxes & lunch specials, is definitely a plus. But as far as true sushi taste... I've had better, even in OKC. My ex absolutely loved this place & still does, but I would recommend it- both for pricing/budget & the experience. Oh!! One last thing. I absolutely loved their flavored water with real fruit in it! And every time I went the flavor was different... (Strawberry, orange, a mix of both, lemon, lime, a citrus combo... They did it all!)

  • Lema R.

Not bad for a quick bite to eat. Sushi is definitely fast and a bit on the cheaper side. Salmon & yellowtail rolls were simple but good. My husband had the spicy salmon, it was ok, he didn't like the cream cheese. Bento boxes were yummy, recommend the teriyaki chicken & Korean short ribs. Miso soup was also good. Hubby also had the pork gyoza which was good. But like I said more of a stop here quick cause we're hungry type of place. Staff was friendly & professional and when they can the sushi chef hand delivers the sushi.

Not my favorite place. The sushi chef was completely behind/ overwhelmed/ lost on orders. My wife had the bento box which was very tasty. My "house special" roll didn't come until 15 minutes later! Won't be back.

Clean, fresh, and flavorful! GoGo Sushi is a much welcomed addition to the midtown food market. The clean and open layout is very inviting and modern. The location is very convenient to downtown and the OU Health Sciences Center. There is plenty of parking as well. There is the usual suspects on the roll menu and prices are competitive for the OKC metro. The service was very good and the food was fresh. Highly recommend this sushi joint!

This place has truly evolved to be a great sushi restaurant since they first opened a year or two ago. Their rolls are tasty. Their udon is pretty good too. Fast service, friendly staff, GREAT food for the price.

A bit pricey but worth it, absolutely delicious staff was a bit rude like they were off in their own world lacking customer assistance. The mardi gra is worth trying.

Went here on a Saturday night without reading any reviews or hearing any recommendations from friends. It wasnt quite as fancy as we thought, but no problem with that. First, there are no real waiters here but rather you order at a counter. There are people who refill water. They bring your food out to you. (nice because your tip goes to the sushi makers and not the waiter). The counter lady was very knowledgeable about the sushi and made great recommendations. We had 3 rolls for 2 people and were very satisfied. We got the TGIF (a fried roll), the Green Hornet, and the Sugar mama. We enjoyed each of them. The bento boxes looked great. We will def go back to try other sushi and other menu items. Our sushi was prepared quickly as well. Happy hour is from 3-5 M-Thurs, with discounted sushi and 1.50 beer.

Surprisingly, delicious. Most people frown upon going to a sushi restautant that isn't along the coast. I have never second guessed these places. As long as the place doesn't smell fishy, then I assume all fish were flown in the same day. GoGo has come cool options for sushi. I do like how some of the names and ingredients are catered to the area. I could definitely go back.

I am picky about my sushi and this place never disappoints. Their sushi rice is always spot on, and the rolls always stay together. Most of their maki selection is sort of an Oklahoma take on sushi, so you will see a lot of tempura items and lots of spicy sauces. It's actually a really cool idea and it sort of owns the sushi in its own special way. There are many traditional nigiri and sashimi dishes to choose from as well if that's more your style or if you're just looking for something healthier. Try the white tuna sashimi, it is of astoundingly good quality... soft as butter and not a hint of fishiness. They also offer many good deals on bento boxes (combinations of teriyaki items and sushi). Oh! They also are one of the few places around that I know offers yaki soba and dishes like that. That was an unexpected surprise!

What a great place for lunch! I took my daughter who was visiting and she ordered the hibachi lunch special. For me instead of my typical sushi I got the Bento Box with Teriyaki Chicken. This place has great prices, food comes quickly and is always delicious!

  • Jamie M.

Gogo is not the worst sushi I've had, but probably the 2nd worst. The fish is not quality. It's got a mushy texture to it and tastes old. It's definitely on par with one of those conveyor belt sushi joints, as a previous reviewer stated. The sushi just isn't good. People who have had the primo stuff will know what I'm talking about. The non-sushi foods in their bento box are okay though, like the teriyaki beef and tempura veggies. Oh but their miso soup is terrible. It's the worst miso I've ever tasted.

My first experience with sushi in Oklahoma and I wasn't disappointed. My expectations were low but this place is cool. It reminds me of Tokyo Joes only with better sushi. This place is a little nook in a strip mall so don't go here looking for anything fancy. They have a ton of rolls on their menu though so you could come here and mix it up quite a few times. When you come in you walk up to the register and place your order like at a fast food restaurant. They keep little cards with the rolls on it that you can look at while ordering and they have a big board up on the wall above the grill with the menu on it as well. You place your order and they give you cups which you go fill with your drinks and then you either can sit at some tables or at the sushi bar. Great place for cheap sushi because the prices are very reasonable. The quality is higher than I would expect for a place like this so lets hope I have as good of an experience when I go back.

The coolest restaraunt Moore, ok has! So delicious, awesome service, really outstanding all around. The prices are very reasonable. My favorites are the sugar mama roll and the bento boxes.

Pleasently suprised by this place. I was a little worried since it is an express restaurant and not a sit down sushi restaurant. They had a large amount of choices. The sushi menu was much larger than I expected and had some rolls I haven't seen elsewhere (and I eat sushi alot). The 2 rols I got were really good (especially the big bird roll. On top of all that the prices were slightly less than they would have been at a sit down sushi joint. I would come back.

Run of the mill sushi, nothing special.

  • Shea K.

The sushi rolls I got were very good and the presentation was pretty. I got the Maddie roll and the Gogo Club roll. Both were delicious. I would recommend this place to my friends. Would have given it 5 stars but it is a bit pricy.

Decent Sushi for this far inland. The crab is fake (Surimi) with the exception of the minced Snow Crab in it's roll. Hibachi lunch specials could benefit from using fresh mushrooms and less Zucchini. Good Miso, Tempura and Terriyaki. Good sauces and drizzles.

South side sushi! I've been all over OK for sushi and I love this place the most! Best sushi, great prices and the staff is amazing!

  • Amanda K.

Good, solid sushi at very reasonable prices. It's not the best ever sushi I've had, but you won't find me complaining if you tell me I have to eat here over and over again. I like the low-key set up where you can find your own table and order at your leisure up at the counter but then your food is brought out to you. Kind of takes the pressure off to not have to decide really quick what you want. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

  • Cory H.

The sushi here is just "okay". With all of the rolls I've tried here, something is lacking that I can't quite put my finger on. I guess the taste is lacking for the price you pay. I prefer to spend a few extra bucks on gas and eat sushi elsewhere in Oklahoma (i.e. Norman or OKC has some much better options). Now if you live in Moore and you just HAVE to eat sushi every single day of your life, then Gogo's might be the fast food answer you've been looking for, although the prices could be a LOT cheaper. I think the sushi here seems to miss the mark as far as "great sushi" is concerned. I'm probably dumb for expecting more from Moore, OK :) But I will say that the staff is friendly and my order was always correct when I received it. Oh yeah and the signage on their building is pretty cool... but that's about it.

  • Vinny W.

Prices were a bit high for how "strip mall" it is. Limited seating and a order at the register has a conveyor belt sushi feel to it. The food was actually pretty good. The steamed gyoza was way over cooked, but the spicy tuna and Liz roll were very good. If we aren't meeting people for dinner this is a nice place to hit up quick. Oh yeah, no Japanese beer??!! WTF??!!

  • William V.

I wouldn't call myself a Japanophile or sushi expert, but I like this place. I've eaten here several times, and I've yet to get anything that dissapointed me. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the staff has always been friendly. I'm glad that someone took the effort to bring a pretty nice sushi place to Moore.

    (4)
  • Joey S.

As far as the food and the price go, there is no reason to NOT eat here. If you have more than 2 or 3 people and you really need to be seated quickly or are making an impression, maybe this isn't the place. It's insanely popular and is busy all the time and occasionally you have to wait around for a table and have to some juggling if you have a bigger party. The food is probably just a tad high but if you are in the area, it's definitely worth it. Every roll I've had was very good and well put together. Their white tuna is ACE, btw. Drop in, you won't be disappointed.

Moore is so hoppin now and I love it. I eat at GOGO several times a week. The lunch specials are such a good value. The staff goes out of their way to be friendly and accommodating. They are always smiling. Also it is about the only place to eat late nights or Sunday evening besides a breakfast joint. Love it!!

  • Donna I.

100% not authentic -- I like traditional Japanese sushi, but it is good. And my husband likes all those americanized rolls, so it is really good for him. Not fancy, but food is not cheap, but all around, never had a bad meal and I go here a lot.
