I always enjoy visiting Billy Sims BBQ when I get the opportunity to. As I've mentioned before I'm not a huge BBQ fanatic but, find myself making exception when I am here. I love the flavors of their meats. I usually get the Smoked Bologna with another meat ... those being either the Pulled Pork or German Sausage. All three of these meats choices are delicious. The Beans and Macaroni & Cheese are a real highlight for sides. I could actually come hete to just eat the Mac & Cheese and be fulfilled. The employees are ALWAYS a real delight to encounter, even when showing up 10 minutes to close. They know I drive up from Texas, so they don't mind at all letting me stay past close to finish the meal. This is definitely a place to try if you haven't.

I was really expecting more out these ribs. I ordered the halfback. I was a little shocked that the guy pulled them out of a bag. I was anticipating some big meaty monsters but they were relatively small. Over seasoned and not "fall off the bone". The baked beans were good. They add pulled pork to them. They really taste like bush's out of the can. The baked potatoe salad was alright but way too much sour cream for me. Not bad but I probably won't go back.

All the. Meat was dry and not much flavor. Five people served and the bill was almost $75. Won't be making that mistake again. It does not cost that much to make barbeque. Don't care who you are.

The bbq isn't very tender like other places in town. It's a fast food place without the drive through. If I want bbq I'll go somewhere else. They have a good choice of food. Brisket ribs etc. worth trying out once.

Sweet Baby Jesus..... Thank you for letting me put something other then junk into my mouth!! The flavor was perfection! The meat was soo tender it melted the fork. If that makes any sense! My hubby sucked the meat right off the bones, I almost didn't have time to take a pic of it. If you never had food porn come here and eat the chopped brisket and the pulled pork! The workers we super friendly! Will be back !

I've been to one billy sims that was good, great, awesome! But this billy sims is nasty the brisket did not have any kind of smoked flavor and no "flavor" at all. Elgin has the best billy sims. I will not go back it is a bunch of teenagers running the place. Ugh!!

At lunch time during the week not a good place to go. They pull the food out of the fridge behind the counter throw it in a heater and move you on to the sides which are not made they are pre bought. Like the mac and cheese came from a larger batch which was pulled from a can. Bleech! Then the meat when I sat to eat was burnt but rubber like from the microwave. It was so bad! BAD!

Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! The food sits in lukewarm containers to dry out. I ordered the corn which was sitting in hot water and clearly had been previously frozen. It was so over cooked from sitting in hot water, clearly all day, that it was inedible. The pulled pork was dry and room temperature. The bread was stale. We will never go back!

Solid food but nothing spectacular. The ribs were decent, definately had much better and the hot sauce was not hot at all. I was there for all you can eat rib night and the folks behind the counter were awesome, very nice, courteous, and generous with the food and portion sizes. My first order of ribs were good but nothing that I couldn't do easily at home, these were not the fall of the bone type of ribs.... I am a BBQ nut and this place scratches the itch but leaves you wanting more.

This is my favorite place for good old-fashioned BBQ in Lawton. I got the pulled pork here with two sides of corn on the cob and potato salad, and a piece of toast, for about $10. The BBQ sauce is what makes everything delicious with the meat here. The pulled pork was incredibly tender and it's a really good deal for the amount of food you get. The one thing I didn't like was the corn, which was flavored as smoked, and was overwhelmed with that smoky flavor.

I love this place. The Staff are SO FRIENDLY every time I go. I usually get the Bevo Plate which is a plate of chopped brisket and two sides. I love their billy beans they are to die for and the corn is pretty good too. Those are the only sides I have tried. Last time I went I got the Wish Bone which is a 4 meat plate I got brisket, pulled pork, chicken and ribs. All of it was really good. Their BBQ sauce is so good! I use both the sweet and the hot. Try it! You'll like it! Clean, quick, friendly, delicious.

This place has the best BBQ I have ever tasted!!! I always tried to find a BBQ place were the food tastes as good as it looks, like in the tv shows. Billy Sims accomplish the objective and then some. Definitely my new favorite restaurant in Oklahoma. On Tuesdays the have all you can eat ribs for only $12.99, INSANE!!! The Heisman is the perfect sandwich for a meet lover. If you have one last wish in life, lol, go to Billy Sims. Let VIC take care of your order, his enthusiasm for great service and joyful personality makes the experience so much better. Enjoy and let me know :)!!!!

The staff is friendly. You go through the llne with your tray and they plate everything up for you,pay at register. It's clean and the wonderful scent of barbecue wraps around you the second that you walk through the door. There were 8 of us in our group and we tried Chopped brisket sandwich, the sliced brisket sandwich, The Half back ( 1/2 rack rib dinner), The Heisman (chopped brisket with a hot link) and we tried the Billy BBQ beans, potato salad and the mini huskers (smoked corn on cob).. Everything was a winner except the potato salad. The BBQ beans are so seasoned and they have meat in them. I will definitely viist here again on my next trip to Lawton, OK!

Best BBQ in Lawton. But lets be honest...standards should be set really low for any restaurant in the entire state of oklahoma. Havent had anything bad here. The beans were my favorite dish.

Pretty good...for a chain. Had three meat dinner. Bologna, chicken, and ribs. All were very tasty. Bologna was a first for me but and surprisingly good. chicken was smoked just right and not too dry. Ribs were the best with the meat pulling away from the bone and very meaty. The sauce is the sweet tangy variety and it comes mild and spicy. Both are okay. Glad I tried it.

This was very good BBQ. Was in town for a week and ate here twice because it was so good. Ordered the pulled pork dinner both times--excellent. The hot BBQ sauce was a red sauce (not mustard base) and was spicy and flavorful without actually being hot. Loved the cole slaw. Liked the baked beans better than the potato salad. Didn't try anything else. Will definitely eat here again next time I'm in the area.

First time to Oklahoma, time to try some local bbq. I ordered the 2 meat dinner combo (named: SOONER MAGIC), getting the sliced brisket and ribs. The price is right for only $9.99 you get two meats the choice of 2 sides (sideliners) illy Beans chips mini-huskers (Smoked Corn on the Cob) green beans potato salad 'Sooner Slaw-ter' (Cole Slaw), or instead of 2 side you can get one of the following small potato garden Salad small chili. The brisket was very tender and had a nice smoke ring on the outer edge. The pork ribs were also fall off the bone tender and had a great hickory smoke flavor. It comes with bbq sauce for dipping, although more would have been better! Very good BBQ, and not to salty like people warned me about Oklahoma food. We ordered via takeout so i cannot comment on the decor or service, though this is their new location so it wouldn't be run down.

Flavorless overpriced BBQ. Had the brisket sandwich and got 3 thin slices of flavorless meat on bread. The brisket was tender but had no hint of BBQ or smoked flavor. Go down the street to Arby's and get the smokehouse brisket combo. You will get a tastier sandwich and save a few bucks.

Mad respect to billy sim's BBQ. It was great. This was the second time I've been here and it's one of the best in Lawton. Just wish they had one in Killeen,Tx. Tuesday is all you can eat Ribs!

Since moving to the Midwest, I've tried lots of different bbq from Texas, Kansas, and Oklahoma! This has been the best I've tried in Lawton, Oklahoma so far. I ordered the "Wishbone" plate, which allows you to pick 4 different meats with your choice of two sides. I choose the brisket, ribs, chicken and turkey w/ the bbq beans & green beans. The bbq beans were yummy, and I really liked them. The green beans were average boiled type, so not much to say about them. Now to get to what we all go to BBQ for--the MEAT! a) The ribs & brisket were AWESOME, and I'd give those a 5 star!! I felt it didn't even needed sauce to eat!! The flavor was delicious!! I'll order this part again & again! b) The turkey was pretty good, still moist w/ good flavor, even though it was the end piece, but definitely better with the bbq sauce. c) The only thing I wasn't impressed with was the chicken. It was dry and didn't really have anything special to talk about. Since it was dry, I HAD to eat it with bbq sauce. Sauce: I got the spicy type and it wasn't spicy, but it's good sauce. Not too salty or overpowering. Staff: Very friendly, nice & made me feel very welcome! Location: New location on Gore, so it was very clean & well maintained.

So up front, this review is based of my first and only visit. My friends had intended to hit up Lonestar Steakhouse, but found it closed up. So after turning around and trying to come up with a Plan B, we hit this wall of smell (good thing the windows were down). We immediately looked around and figured out the smell was coming from Billy Sims. I had the chopped brisket sandwich and it was delicious. First time I've had Sour Cream based Potato Salad and that was pretty darn good. It was not overpriced and an enjoyable lunch. Not going to say it was the best, but pretty darn good.

Really good OK BBQ! Friendly service, greeted us with a hello and a smile as soon as we came through the door. My son had The Heisman sandwich and said it was very good, it filled up a 13 year old that's says something about its size!! Ribs and brisket were very good, moist and tender! Sausage was not to my liken, had good flavor, but reminded me of regular old Eckridge! Other then that this is a good BBQ joint. Will be back next time in the great state of OK!!

Great BBQ! Love the brisket, pork, and the smoked bologna! I'm also a huge fan of their baked potato potato salad and their baked beans. The sweet tea is also very satisfying and refreshing. I can say I have visited both locations in Lawton and I have been very impressed. Service is usually quick. Staff is very friendly. I have attended events with their catering and it is also very delicious. One of my favorite BBQ places!

This BBQ is straight up delicious. I didn't even like BBQ until I had this stuff; now it's my favorite food. I first tried Billy Sim's when I was stationed at Ft. Sill. Being stuck in Lawton was awful and having such an awesome BBQ place was one of the pleasures that made it all bearable. When I moved, I was so pleased that they had a Billy Sim's as well. I eat there consistently twice a week.

I'm sure its a chain restaurant but it seemed like fresh BBQ meat to me, had the three meat plate with brisket (excellent), ribs (pretty good), and pulled pork (not so good). Staff was very friendly and personal and the restaurant was nice and clean. By far the brisket was the best and worth the price alone, ribs were cooked right, fell right off the bone and had a great crust. The pulled pork which is usually my favorite BBQ was not good at all, I barely touched it. Oh and I forgot, the chili it came with was pretty dang good too! It had brisket in it and they give you the option of onions and cheese on top. Will have again when in OK, not the best BBQ, but worth the stop. Who is Billy Sim's anyways? I'm guessing he was some OSU or OU player? IDK

I absolutely love this place, they have no idea what they're doing to my wallet though. I have a very pregnant wife and she honestly wants this around 2-3 a week! I could eat there every day. If you've never been and don't know what to get, try the pulled pork (my wifes favorite). Really anything is good but I LOVE their hot links. So so so so good. YOU HAVE to try the BAKED potato salad. So amazing.

I was pleasantly surprised that a chain place would have such delicious barbeque! I'm from Texas and I think I'm pretty picky when it comes to BBQ. The brisket and pulled pork at Billy Sims are delicious and the BBQ sauce is one of the better ones I've had. I usually order the Pulled Pork Sandwich with Potato Salad. The Triple 20 is good too - it's a pulled pork sandwich topped with cole slaw and provolone cheese. They also have good iced tea that comes in a large plastic cup that you can keep. Billy Sims is my favorite BBQ place in Lawton!

Came to Lawton for a quick day trip and read about this place. AWESOME! I had The Option which is three meats of your choice. Rib meat was falling off the bone, and everything else was great. They even gave us collector's cups since it was out first time. Will be back for sure!

I had the Pulled Razorback, potato salad, and baked beans. The food was good, the service was excellent and the price was just right. The lemonade was pretty awesome. Definitely keeping this on the list.

We had this catered at a family function and the ribs were amazing, meat fell off the bone and the sauce was excellent. The coleslaw and potato salad was alright nothing really special but better than a deli salad.

For a chain restaurant, it is outstanding. I had a sandwich with delectable pulled pork, slightly salty brisket, jalapeno sausage and smoked bologna, topped with provolone and Billy Sim's legendary Sweet n Mild BBQ Sauce, on a toasted hamburger bun. You'd think that it was overkill, but, it was incredible. Their baked beans have brisket in it, as does their chili, both of which are worth returning for. They even sell both mild and spicy sauce in bottles, so, you can take the flavor on the road. It's a great change of pace from burgers and fries. CHEERS!!!

Not the best bbq in lawton but it was okay. I ordered the two meat combo (chicken and ribs) and a potato. Overall flavor of the food was nothing great but nothing bad either. I was not impressed.

I'm not a big fan of BBQ, but Billy Sim's BBQ has won me over with their brisket. It's slow cooked and can be ordered sliced or shredded. Topped with their hot BBQ sauce and it just melts in my mouth. Also, their chili and potato salad are not bad, along with the roasted chicken.

I asked the front desk at the Hampton Inn where to get some good BBQ and she (and the 3 other gentlemen in the lobby) recommended Billy Sim's at the casino. Casino BBQ? I was a little skeptical, but I headed over. Had to wade through the smokey casino to order my Sooner Magic 2 meat dinner plate, selecting chopped brisket and pulled pork. It was a great deal, cause for under 10 bucks I got the brisket, pork, 2 sides (corn and green beans), toast, extra BBQ sauce, and a drink. The brisket was AWESOME, the pork was OK, and the sides weren't anything to write home about, but overall I was extremely happy with the meal!
