Atmosphere is amazing, privately romantic while calming and relaxing. Food quality is goid, flavors are amazing, variety is nice, and cooking it yourself is a fun touch. Of course it'll be expensive but I say worth it.

I had an amazing experience. Definitely had the best waitress I could ask for. Shawna you were wonderful. See you Friday! Of course the chocolate and wine added to the experience.

I have been wanting to try the Melting Pot forever and I was really excited to finally give it a try last weekend. We had a really lovely experience at the Melting Pot. Our server had obviously been there awhile and was very seasoned in the menu and the experience and was really great at giving us advice. We started with the Wisconsin Trio cheese fondue. And honestly I didn't like it at all - which is why they moved down to four stars for me. It just had so much white wine in it that it completely over powered the cheese. Every time I had anything dipped in the cheese fondue it was like shotgunning a glass of white wine. Yuck. For the entree I had the steak lovers and coq Au vin cooking style. It was seriously delicious and our waiter was great at telling us what dipping sauces went with each meat and how long to cook the meat. But let's be real, dessert is what this place does well. We had the creme brûlée fondue and oh my god there are not even words. It was divine and like eating a piece of heaven. I would go back just for the dessert. Next time - might cut to the chase and just get dessert. But still a great experience and time!

I have always wanted to try the melting pot, but the expensive price tag keeps me away. However, when I saw an advertisement for a "Skinny Dipping" menu for 19.99, I was sold! I went with two other people. We made reservations on Open Table and were seated immediately on a Wednesday evening. The restaurant was really empty. I'm assuming it is busier on the weekend, but if you want no wait, try a week night! Our waitress was very helpful and friendly throughout the night. She made it a point to learn our names and called us by them throughout the night. The Skinny meal included your choice of salad and meats, and a dessert of dark chocolate with fruit. I opted for the house salad and it was good. Nothing overwhelming, but a decent salad. For my meats, I went with Filet and Chicken. We opted to pay more to try a different broth rather than the traditional. We went with the Mojo which had nice flavorings of garlic and citrus. I enjoyed the meats and vegetables that came with us. Our waitress even brought us additional vegetables which was nice. The highlight of the night for me, however, was the dessert. The dark chocolate was delicious and the fruit was fresh and tasted great. Our waitress brought us extra fruit as well. It was a lengthy meal (and I'm sure would be even more so with more people and a cheese fondue added as well), but for the price you are paying, you want an extended experience. I would definitely be willing to go back and try the full 4 courses for a special occasion!

This was my second time to go to a Melting Pot restaurant, and yet again I was NOT disappointed! The food is incredible, but the experience is out of this world. To add to an amazing night and experience we had a fantastic server! Carlos went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was flawless! Myself and anorher women were in Tulsa visiting a friend for her baby shower, the three of us dined at the Melting Pot on Friday night. As soon as Carlos found out what we were celebrating he immediately congratulated our friend and to top off the incredible service we had all night, when the desert portion came out, he brought out a customized plate with "Congratultions, it's a girl" written on it in pink frosting along with a baby carriage and with a small piece of pound cake with a little pink candle in it. It was amazing the time he took in order to make our experience personalized. He is by far one of the most caring and efficient servers I have ever had, at any restaurant, he definitely goes above and beyond for his customers. I would recommend any Melting Pot restaurant, and I'm sure any server, but of your lucky enough to get Carlos as a server, you won't be dissatisfied!

This is a fantastic first date place. They keep things flowing and you would never find that empty moment. Whenever we fix someone up, this is where we go. The wine list is interesting, and I am always amazed at the knowledge the wait staff has about the menu. Definitely worth a visit, but mostly wanted to point out that it is a great place to avoid awkward moments if early in the dating relationship.

My wife and went to this location to use a gift certificate that we were given due to a previous terrible experience we had here. We had no idea we would have another bad experience this trip. We went to eat at 5pm on a Friday. The meal took until about 7:05 pm, which is pretty typical, not a big deal for this type of dining experience...BUT, when we were exiting the restaurant, we saw a news crew asking the manager why they were open. We thought this a bit odd at the time, but we didn't dwell on it. When we got home, we learned that Jenks had issued a boil water order and also asked that all restaurants close immediately, because ECOLI was found in the water system. This all went down around 6pm. The Melting Pot staff did absolutely nothing to warn their customers. They remained open and kept serving... What do I do? I turn to Twitter to warn my friends NOT to go there or anywhere in Jenks that is serving food. Melting Pot's twitter then basically called me a liar via twitter. I sent them the news story online to back up my claim. They then followed up and asked I contact their customer service. Long story short, if a restaurant doesn't care about the safety of their patrons, they don't deserve their business. Thumbs down Melting Pot!

Melting Pot's fondue is the best! I've tried all the chocolate fondue they have but the best one is The Original which has peanut butter mixed in. Each pot comes with the most delicious dippers: fresh strawberries, bananas, cheesecake, Rice Krispies Treats, marshmallows, pound cake, and brownies. You get one full plate full of those dippers for each pot you order and you can ask for a few extra pieces but they won't give you another full plate. I don't recommend the cheese fondue at all. I've tried spinach artichoke and traditional Swiss - not impressed. The dippers for the cheese fondue are nowhere as fun as the ones that come with the chocolate: artisan breads, fresh vegetables, and crisp Granny Smith apples. This location is only open in the evenings and the waiters who work here are so nice! Some Melting Pot locations have happy hour which means half price fondue but I don't think this location offers that. I've never tried their food because it's super expensive! Their alcohol selections aren't cheap either.

The most romantic restaurant in Tulsa. The staff is very professional and not too pushy. The chocolate and cheese fondues are just delicious. I love going here on romantic dates or just with some girlfriends. The light is dim, classic music on, and lots of tasty wine.

Its an experience thats for sure. The food was average actually. I didn't care for the cheese fondue we had, perhaps I picked the wrong one. I ended up with the feast plate of all the meats. Decent enough. My favorite had to be the dessert but really the strawberries and bananas to dip in chocolate. You can keep all the cake and rice krispie treats and marshmallows. Its painstakingly a slow process. We were there 3 hours. It could have been cut in half that time had the waiter been more attentive. There is no reason really that we should have had to wait so long between courses. But it was my birthday and I was with my friends so we were visiting a lot anyway. The worst part was waiting on them to take the hot oil pot away-it smelled.

So first let me say if you in any kind of hurry don't go here for dinner. We spent about 2 hours plus for dinner. Honestly its a little pricey but, the quality is good. We got the four course. First course was cheddar. I like watching the process. Silly I know but it was interesting. Probably not my most favorite course. Nonetheless it was good. Second course was the salad, basic enough, no need for details here. Third course we choose the Coq au vin for our pot and the steak lovers were our entrée option. I was a little worried on the vin but I actually ended up really enjoying this. Of course the fourth course was chocolate pot. We choose the smores chocolate. very good but the options for dipping were sub par. Fruit was good but other options were just okay. All in all nice to do once or twice but This can get expensive fast.

We had a wonderful time tonight! Our waitress' were Maria and Meagan. They helped us make some great decisions. We are not from Tulsa and we drove a ways to get there. We found that the decor was not as great as we had thought for the price but the friendliness and the environment made up for it. We lived that when we left there was a concert going on outside as well!!! Oh and yes the food was tasty!!!

Pros: It's a fun experience. Not many places where you can cook right at your table. You get to pick what meat or veggie, a broth or an oil that you want to cook it in, a batter you might want to use, and a selection of several sauces for the various foods. Some of the other reviewers seem to be put off by the idea of boiling meat. Well, then select the bourguignon cooking method where you cook the meat in oil. Problem solved. Then you can also cook some mushroom caps dipped in the sesame batter in the same pot. Excellent! Dessert was chocolate fondue so of course that's going to be decadent and delicious! For both the appetizer and the dessert our server brought out some extra complimentary food for us to dip. That was nice. Cons: Expensive (though I think you're getting your money's worth). Takes a long time to get through a meal here, but that's just how fondue works. The menu is a little complicated to figure out. Fortunately, the waitstaff was very patient and helped us out a lot. Finally- quick tutorial so you won't be as lost as we were with how things work. Assuming you order one of the entrees off of the set menu: 1. At your table, your server will mix a pot of dipping cheese in a hot pot (electric hot plate(s) built into every table). There are several options for the cheese. Then you'll be provided with plates of chips, vegetables, diced apple, and chunks of bread. Everybody grabs a fork and starts dipping. 2. After the cheese pots are taken away, it's time for the salad. Again, several salad selections are available.(Don't dip the salad ;) 3. Main entree along with a pot of broth or oil comes out accompanied by batters and sauces. Everybody has 3 forks, each person gets their own fork color. That way you can have multiple items cooking and the forks don't get mixed up. The server will give you suggestions on how long it takes to cook different items in the different pots. They also bring out a dish of mushroom caps, potatoes, and broccoli. 4. The entree pots are removed and here comes the chocolate, along with a plate of fruit and sweets that are delicious in their own right.

SO GOOD! My husband and I went for the first time Halloween night 2007 - we were practically the only ones in the restaurant, and we had a really cool waiter, so we ended up spending 3 hours there! It was ok because we were kind of seeing where the night took us, no real plans. If you go, plan on being there awhile - take your time and enjoy your food! The easiest way to order is to do the Entry for 2 - it includes cheese fondue (with veggies, apples, and bread for dipping), salads for both of you, and your main course. I promise you will be too full to order dessert so you might want to come back a second time specifically for that. Our favorite cheese fondue is the Southwest. They will make it as spicy or mild as you like. The best salad in my opinion is the Southwestern Cobb salad - my husband will not shut up about the bacon! It is his favorite bacon ever. We always get the court bouillon for the cooking style, which is basically a vegetable broth - it makes the veggies really yummy and seems to be the best for first timers. There are 4 different styles to choose from, but basically the cooking style is the flavor of liquid you would like to cook your food in. And you will be cooking a lot...my suggestion is to dump most of your veggies into the pot as soon as they come to your table so that they will be tender and ready to eat by the time your meat is finished. Don't worry too much about the cooking time - if you have any questions you can ask the staff and they will help you. The sauces are really delicious - there are so many to choose from! The Melting Pot has individual entries that you can order, that come with your choice of salad, but if it's your first time you should go all out and get the 3 courses. You could get the 4 course meal, that includes dessert, but that should almost be enjoyed on it's own another time. I am always too full to even think about dessert, so my husband and I have gone a few times specifically for that. Try the bananas foster chocolate! So good! And they provide a great selection of dessert dippers. Great place to go on a date! I love this place!

My fiance and I love The Melting Pot; it's probably now our official celebration spot. I was prompted to write the review tonight after a horrible experience at Piatto Cucina Italiana, and Melting Pot made it all better. We had to eat at the bar since it was packed for Valentine's, and even though the bar tender was super busy he was very attentive and provided great service. It is definitely a place where you have to allot a few hours for, especially if you're having multiple courses. Probably not a good choice for a weeknight. Usually we order whatever they have for Big Night Out, which changes every so often. But if you're ordering off the regular menu, I'd suggest the spinach artichoke fondue, California salad, and duck for entree (definitely recommend coq au vin or court bouillon cooking style--though I haven't tried the rest). I haven't ordered a chocolate fondue from the regular menu, but request the creme brulee if you can. If you think it's overpriced for "boiled meat"--what did you expect from a fondue restaurant....? If that's not something you want to eat, don't blame that on the restaurant you chose to eat at.

This was the first restaurant my wife and I went to after we were married and being from out of town, we had a hard time finding the place. After we got there, about an hour after we planned to, we found the restaurant to be nice. It is a very intimate setting, intimate meaning quite. I didn't really know what we were in for, but fondue sounded fun. It was a lot of work though. We had appetizers, entree, and dessert. The total bill ended up being around $100. A little pricey for my taste, but an experience nonetheless if you're willing to shell out the cash.

Wow. Fondue is a LOT of work for your digestive system. And it's really hot. I felt sick for a couple of days after we had a cheese fondue appetizer here last weekend. Also, our booth was 6 inches away from a wall, so it was like we were sitting in a tiny box. *drink* Not great ambiance. FYI: We thought going to Riverwalk would be "funny," but really it was just kind of a downer. Tons of little kids running around. Some Blart-ish (yes that's a Mall Cop reference, what?) old man was grilling some tween girls about where their parents were. It felt very much like 1994 all over again. It is VERY different out there. I wasn't prepared.

This Melting Pot is only a few years old, following the construction of the River walk in Jenks. Though I've only eaten there once, I have only good things to say about it. I guess the first of which, when I ate there, it was about thirty minutes before they closed. That isn't enough time to finish even a normal meal, not to mention fondue. Unlike most restaurants getting ready to close, our waiter was very attentive, patient, and ready to serve and explain everything. I was also seated in a different section, away from the few remaining people. The food was fantastic. I never felt rushed to finish, and the waiter was very polite when I finally left. The only downside to the restaurant--as it is with any fondue restaurant--is that it is pretty pricey. I can almost guarantee that your bill will be over $50, even for one person.

Edited my review after going with another couple. There isn't enough room in the pot fro 8 sticks, and enough the table ordered a upgrade on the cooking medium, each couple was charged so they will get their money either way. Each time i have been the food is pretty bland and you must add sauces in order to give it taste. this is the last time i go here. I don't except to add steak sauce at an nice restaurant so why should i here? I am giving this a 4 stars because it should have 2 different point of views shown below. Our waitress was great. (Lee or Lea). Food was good but i would stay away from the fish, it was fresh just doesn't seem that good boiled in broth. Shrimp and steak was good though. My wife's review: 5 stars - She loved it, the snicker chocolate fondue for dessert was probably her favorite (it was off the menu) My review: 3 stars - Nice dining experience that i wouldn't do it too often. Are you asking why we had two completely different opinions? In this age, more men are doing the cooking at home which is great, i love to cook. Then a couple goes out for dinner and the food is to be cooked by them and the lady thinks it is so much fun to cook where someone should be taking care of this for you but she doesn't like to cook at home? I think i am going to take the concept a step further and open a restaurant where people come and pay to cook, serve, and clean up for people that I pay to eat. Going to make millions...

Went for the first time with several professional acquaintances recently. Bill for 7 was well over $500. That wouldn't have been so bad, but for that kind of cash I'd expect more than boiled meat. Portions were smallish, appetizer was stale bread chunks & cauliflower pieces which were to be dipped in fondue cheese sauce. Grossed me out. Biggest surprise was the main entrees which consisted of small portions of steak or seafood to be boiled -- yes, BOILED -- in some sort of clear broth. Worst dinner I've had out, bar none. We stopped to grab some hamburgers for the kids on the way home!

Don't go hear unless you are ready for a long evening! The appetizers course (consisting of cheese fondue's with dippers), and the dessert course (consisting of chocolate fondue's, caramel fondue's and other sweet creations) were by far the highlights. The main course was OK. However you really have to cook the food at your table and it can be hard to remember how long things have been cooking, etc. Wine list was great and the staff was nice. VERY pricey. Give it a try if you have lot's of time. It took four of us almost three hours to eat a three course meal with cocktails and a couple bottles of wine.
