I was here with my family whilst in Tulsa on business. Outstanding food and killer Top Shelf Margaritas. The salsa i also very good and they do have a Habanero salsa if you so desire. Everything on the menu looked amazing and everything I tasted was amazing. This is that killer Mexican restaurant you've been looking for!

I came back here again recently. Since the last time I was here, the taste of the food has greatly improved. I think they might've gotten a new chef. The service is still very good and friendly... maybe even more so than it was before. It's another restaurant that I'll now have to add to my list of favorites.

Once again we have had a great dining experience here. The roaming mariachi band came by with their music keeping the children entertained. The kids each received a balloon animal from the waitress and we all had a great meal. Being on the Riverwalk, there is live music by local bands which is quite an experience in itself. Although their Tex-Mex food is great, I always come here for the location most of all. Parking is sometimes a challenge but it is worth the hassle once you've been seated. I haven't been able to try any of their desserts for being too full from the main meal. Also, their white queso with ground beef is a great appetizer.

Dined here last night with some co-workers. The service was excellent and I really enjoyed the bold flavors of the salsa and the Mexican Tacos. Absolutely delicious. I look forward to going back in nicer weather and enjoying a live band while I sit on the patio overlooking the river.

Food was ok. Service was really good. The salsa was too spicy for my child and he loves restaurant salsa. I had the fish/shrimp tacos. They were kind of bland. I had to add extra salsa to them. My husband had a combination enchilada plate that he said was ok. The black beans were really good. I Think we will try another Mexican restaurant next time we are in town.

This place is amazing. Where to begin my fiance' and i decided to try something different, so we did some searching and found this place. We wanted to sit outside since feels so wonderful outside. We told the hostess we wanted to sit on the patio and she said it was free sitting along the wall facing the river. We sat down and within a couple of minutes our drink order was taken and brought to us. Its was hard deciding what we since we had never been here before. Well she decided she wanted to try the brisket taco(sounds strange looked really good) and i got the fajita chicken burrito both with rice and re fried beans. The waitress(Paige) came back after a few minutes to check how everything was and i was in just such estascy i told her " I have two words then i said OH MY GOD" yes if your counting that's actually three but that's how good it was it made me quit thinking straight for a moment. LOL

I enjoy the food that I had. Plan to go back with my husband and kids. Nice family/ friend place to go to enjoy yourself.

This place was pretty good. The service was great, but we had a very wobbly table. My shoe was just the right size to fit under the leg to make it level. I could tell the waitress didn't really know what to do, but I told her I didn't mind... hahhaha ANYWAY, it was pretty busy for Sunday lunch, but we were seated quickly. They're queso is very tasty and their chicken quesadillas were full of chicken. However, I could go to El Rio Verde for half the price and the same amount of food.

Thoroughly enjoyed the food and service here. Was visiting a friend and he said it was the place to try. I must say he was right. The drinks were great. Really impressed with the different salsa. Three of us all shared each others plates and still had food to take home. Definitely will try again if I'm in the area.

Dinner with a party of 8 Friday night at 5 pm. The place was already busy but they are big enough we were seated right away. The service was fast, friendly, and attentive. Food was very good. Great choice.

Great food. Great service. Great bartenders. Live music 7 nights a week during summer. Outside cabana bar and tables.

  • Drew B.

The drinks were expensive and weak. Equivalent drinks at other places in town are HALF the price. You must be paying for the crowd and bands. The band was so so, but the crowd and atmosphere was good. Food was 3 star worth. Attentive waiting staff.

  • Trevor H.

4.5-- gets the bump. Service is typically great; never horrible, despite extensive weekend crowds. Meats are good quality and well-flavored. Favorites are fajita chicken enchiladas, steak fajitas, and mahi mahi fish tacos. Best mojito in town by a longshot. Also bartenders are incredibly personable; don't shy from eating at the bar.

Could have been a one star rating but Los Cabos recovered nicely and did the right thing to make things good. Not enough places take service personally like Los Cabos did and make efforts to make things right when things go wrong. Went as a birthday party of 12 on Saturday. I initially ordered the ribs to split with another person. The waiter came back and apologized and let us know that they were out of ribs. So I ordered the brisket tacos and the waiter came back again apologized profusely and let me know that they were out of that too. This time I ordered a burrito. Nothing special, just a decent A-OK burrito. They did comp my meal and sent a couple of managers out to personally apologize for the snafu. The place was lively, loud and packed on Saturday. More like a bar scene and less like a restaurant. The location by the river lends itself to a crowded Saturday night type of establishment.

If you think there are no good places to eat in Tulsa, you must check out Riverwalk, which is approx 20 minutes away from Downtown Tulsa. It's a row of restaurants along a river (can't remember the name) and if you enjoy outdoor dining, you must try Los Cabos. This restaurant is comparable to Rosa Mexicana in NY; except I think they make better Mexican food (and much cheaper). The chips and guac were amazing. I ordered a beef taco platter (comes in 3), along with rice and black beans and it was only $10. The decor kind of makes me feel like I'm eating by a resort. Overall, this is an excellent place for Mexican cuisine.

I had heard mixed reviews of Los Cabos from my dad. He lives in Jenks and has a lot of business meetings there, and from what he tells me it is often hit or miss. I would say that my Los Cabos experience was a "hit." We sat in the covered patio outside, so we got to experience the benefit of the warm air and sunshine (which is a BIG deal for me since I've been suffering through a gray Ohio winter for the last three months) but were protected from the wind. From what I saw the inside was very nice as well- it was trendy but in a laid-back, casual way. If I lived in Jenks or Tulsa I think that I would probably make Los Cabos a nightlife spot. The service was very fast and very friendly- my glass was always refilled before it was empty and everyone I interacted with on the staff was very amiable. Now, on to the food... THE GOOD: I ordered the mango chicken salad and it was quite good. The lettuce was fresh and crisp and there was a lot of it, which sounds like it should be a given but often is not when you order salads at a restaurant. There was a sizeable portion of grilled chicken on top that was warm but not so hot that it wilted the lettuce (I hate it when that happens!). The salad also included walnut pieces, leeks, and a topping of mango salsa with cilantro. The dressing was spicy and did a very good job of complimenting the mango salso. Also, the chips were delicious. This might not sound like a big deal, but it is to me when I eat at a Mexican restaurant. They were obviously freshly fried- they were thin, crispy, perfectly salted, and warm. Yuumm! THE BAD: The chicken was a little on the salty side, so I didn't end up eating very much of it. Also, one of the two salsas tasted like spicy chipotle dirt. THE UGLY: Something in my meal had a LOT of raw garlic in it. My guess is that it was either the salsa or the salad dressing. Regardless, while it was very delicious going down, it made my breath for the rest of the afternoon VERY unpleasant. This is just something to keep in mind in case you go to Los Cabos on a hot date and might need to have presentable breath for post-meal activities :D. Los Cabos: it is a perfectly decent Mexican restaurant with a markedly better-than-usual atmosphere and wait staff.

Los Cabos is always fun because it is so lively! It has pretty good Mexican food (midwestern standards). I love the seafood enchiladas and shrimp quesadillas. Those are my go to's for this place and queso always queso. Yum Yum. I had thier signature margarita last time and although it is more expensive it is way better than the house marg!

Great vibe! I came here on a Thursday night, which usually has a live band but had singers instead. The atmosphere was fun and lively. I highly recommend this place if you want to relax outside, hang out with some friends and grab some drinks. I'll definitely come back to see what else this restaurant has to offer.

I have always had great service and good food. I've been with groups of as many as 15 and no problems. The view of the river is nice also.

I attended a private event setup on the grass by the river. They weren't expecting vegetarians so they immediately had the kitchen make a separate vegetarian entree for me. The staff was extremely attentive. It was sweltering hot but their quick service put us at ease (maybe it's cause they kept the drinks coming). I hope I would get the same service if I came back as a small group. They really stepped it up to attend a group of 30-40. The margaritas, guac, black beans, queso and chips (very thin) were fantastic.

It's literally NUTS how bad this place is. Tex Mex at its worst. A cavernous hall of people fed by the shovelful of beans, rice and whatever excuse for Tex-Mexican food the poor workers can conjure up in a reasonable time frame. You can tell a restaurant's ethics by its bar. This place has weak drinks but I guess if you like sweet and sour they got you covered. Frankly it's tough paying for the swill they serve. Especially when the waiter is steering you to order the most expensive margarita on the menu since it's "the best margarita in Tulsa" for the past 8 years (no one went broke underestimating the bad taste of the American public I guess). Luckily I avoided that trap just by reading the ingredient list (sweet and sour=sickly sweet/weak drink) but two in my party fell into the trap. Of course they regretted it and asked for new drinks since they specifically asked for a decent margarita. To his credit, the waiter did try admirably to defend Los Cabos bottom line by reminding us that these margaritas are beloved customer favorites and have been "Tulsa's favorite margarita for the past 8 years"... The coup de grace came when my dinner was literally inedible. I had a metal, black, hexagonal hardware NUT amidst a plate of black beans.... The photo below is worth a thousand words (and barely suppressed gags) so I'll let it speak for itself. The waiter and manager did their best and it's not their fault. They comped the food and the couple who was celebrating their birthday. Honestly the surprise in the food was more entertaining that the sad trio of mariachis singing and woefully blowing a sad, small, tin trumpet and our party enjoyed all the puns they could muster. At the end of the day....Los Cabos could be defined in English as "the end". I think it's fitting for my last experience.

We had a table of 7. We ordered the white Queso and some green salsa. Both were good and along with the house red salsa and delicious thin chips, I could have made a meal. We ordered a wide variety of meals including fried avacados, various burritos, and enchiladas. Everything was hot, tasty, and well presented. The bean side was excellent. Our service was superb and we very much enjoyed our dinner.

Los Cabos is what I look forward to when I head to Tulsa. I first discovered this restaurant during a sorority function and it was delicious. The atmosphere is great especially the patio in the summer. I have always had great service and feel taken care of when dining here. One the managers, Ryan is great! His personality and carisma are entertaining and he treats his staff with respect. The green salsa is amazing and always what I look forward too. My most recent visit I had the shrimp tacos and they were flavorful from the shrimp to the sauce/coleslaw mix. The margaritas are fantastic as well. I reccommend the "Horny Toad". If you are in the area go here for lunch or dinner! Great food, staff, and memories!

Went to Los Cabos on a busy Saturday night and the food was your standard Mexican fare-nothing spectacular, but definitely tasty for "chain-like" Mexican. I ordered their Chicken/Steak Quesadillas (a mix of both) and they were good-I'd stick with just Chicken next time though. Whenever we're back in town, I'd be happy to visit again for a big margarita and decent quesadillas.

Great band and awesome food. Not a place to go on a Fri or Sat night if you hate waiting for a table. Come with the idea in mind that you are going to get great service, a nice view, and a super fun atmosphere- hence the long wait. The warmed table salsa is to die for!

Best Mexican food in Tulsa area. Don't even look at the menu (although it is all good), just order the fajita chicken enchiladas with sour cream sauce. It is top notch and big enough to split. You shouldn't split it though ... keep it all for yourself and then let someone roll you home. Did I mention the live mariachi band?

I went to Los Cabos around opening time for lunch on a Saturday. It was pretty quiet when I arrived but business had picked up a little by the time I left. The ambiance and decor are really nice. There's a large outdoor seating area that's on the river, which is probably really nice when it's not 100 degrees out. They also have a covered patio with overhead fans that would make sitting outside during the day a little more tolerable this time of year. The service here was above average. Christian was attentive without being overbearing. Each entree comes with black, pinto, or borracho beans. I had never heard of borracho beans, and he explained what they were (pinto beans with jalapenos, onions and bacon) and recommended them, offering to bring me black or pinto if I didn't like them. The little gestures like that are important for a server. Started off with chips and salsa. The chips were average, but I didn't care much for the salsa. There were two types available, both red. Neither were very spicy and they were both too sweet for my taste. For dinner, I ordered the Guadalajara Platter (two cheese enchiladas, one chicken enchilada, one crispy chicken taco) which came with the beans and a side of mexican rice. The rice tasted a little off -- I'm not sure where exactly the taste came from, but I suspect it may have been a little overcooked. The enchiladas were spectacularly average. A bit bland for my taste. The beans were the best part of my meal -- kudos to Christian for the recommendation! I could see myself coming back here with a group for drinks and a bite to eat, but it definitely wouldn't make it into the regular rotation. It was a bit expensive for the quality of food. My meal and a Pacifico cost $18.33. You're definitely paying for the atmosphere here.

Went here in January for my Grandmother's eightieth birthday. There were a number of us and being an Irish clan, probably not the quietest nor least inebriated people there. The service never seemed lacking or exasperated by our antics, hell, they even played along with some of it! The atmosphere could have been a mere reflection of the company, but I thought well enough of it. The service was quick and courteous. I had the veggie enchiladas and asked ofr extra items inside. There was no hesitation in the "sure, we can do that". Everyone had nothing but good things to say regarding their meal Just a warning though, go easy on the chips, the portions are large! The board walk provides a nice stroll after dinner though I recommend warmer months than January.

Great place for kids and big parties. Food was really good. Beware of the wandering musicians - tipping expected. As with the balloon artist. Noise is pretty intense.

There aren't very many vegetarian options here, but good lord their Sweet Corn Tamale Cakes are to die for. They're an appetizer but I'm perfectly happy ordering them as a meal. Good atmosphere with the occasional live mariachi band.

Food was soooo good. I had the shrimp quesadillas. Yum. The fried avocado was interesting but still good. Service was ok. I felt rushed out of the patio area and our waitress was not amused when my friend was being funny. I would give 4 stars for the food but minus a star because of the wait staff...

Fun place to eat. Love the location on the river. Last night we sat in a back room that was really loud. That had. Never happened before. I think I like the patio best.

This is my favorite Mexican food place in Tulsa. I love their fish tacos, they have amazing guac and their fajitas are the best in town. Also, they make a mean mojito, muddled and all that good stuff.

The building is very nice. Located aside the Arkansas River, I felt like I was in somewhere other than Oklahoma. As we entered, we were expeditiously greeted by welcoming staff. Our waiter was very friendly. I had the Three Amigos platter -- which consists of a beef enchilada, cheese enchilada, fajita chicken enchilada, beans, and rice. We were then given chips and salsa. I liked the chips. The food was certainly above average. I do wish that they included more beef in the specialty beans.

Looking for a place to plan a Reunion, Wedding Reception or Office Party - GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! I contacted the Los Cabos on the Riverwalk with regard to planning our 20th High School Reunion in April. With the party being in roughly 3 months and approximately 50 - 60 guests I was told that they could not accommodate our party unless we wanted to have it on a Monday-Thursday. Since many people - including myself - would be arriving from out of town, this was simply not an option. I thought the name of the game was to get people in the restaurant - Guess I was wrong. I'm sure the Owner / General Manager would be thrilled to know that the staff was turning away business. Additionally, two weeks before I contacted by them by phone, I sent an email to "Connie" as requested on their website and never even received a response. Business Must Be Good.

Busy restaurant and a local favorite. The food is average, however they are known for the magaritas. Sit at the bar and watch them pour! You will see what I mean.

The ambiance is all in the name: Los Cabos. The name itself evokes flashbacks to MTV's Spring Break specials with scantily clad college students grinding it out on the beach. The noise level at Los Cabos is reminiscent of those MTV specials. I'm sure that if you were to put a decibel meter at your table it would range somewhere between tornado and jet engine. Noise level aside, the food is phenomenal. On a recent visit with various friends and family we tried the Fried Avocados, Three Amigos and Beef Enchiladas. All were tasty and seasoned perfectly. The highlight was definitely the Fried Avocados, which are on the appetizer menu but make a great entree. This mouth watering concoction consists of two avocado halves stuffed with your choice of fajita chicken or ground beef, lightly battered & fried, topped with chipotle sour cream. Mmmmmm....amazing! As always the chips and salsa were perfect! Although, I always smell like garlic for 24 hours after eating Los Cabos' salsa. That isn't a complaint, though, since I LOVE garlic. So the bottom line is: Mexican food + patio close to the water + live music = a hip and trendy place to be seen. However, I could care less who sees me when I'm eating. I'm more concerned with what the food tastes like. After all, that's what I'm paying for. And the food at Los Cabos is worth every penny!

  • Jeff B.

Los Cabos had failed in at least one location when they got a spot at the Riverwalk in Jenks and next door to Bass Pro shop in Broken Arrow. Due to patios at both location that over look water, and located in areas where upscale resturuants were sorely lacking, Los Cabos has found it's niche. Food is solid, but not something you will remember in the long term. Very trendy place to been seen or take a date.

This is the definition of 3 yelp-stars. "A-OK". It was not amazing. It was not bad. Some hits, some misses but overall pleasant and enjoyable. The chips kept coming out fresh and hot. One of the salsas was really quite good, the other was pretty bland. The queso was pretty good, huge portion on the "large" too (too much for 2 people to finish off) I had some carnitas tacos that had some fancy dancy stuff done to them. The carnitas meat was really quite soupy, I found that to be strange. The tacos were on flour tortillas, major faux pas / americano. The borracho beans were tasty. Should have been a 9$ plate but I'm guessing due to "fancy" upcharge for the location it was $13. So in all, totally edible, but nothing stellar. My friend's enchiladas looked pretty good though. I'd return.

I am a fan of Los Cabos! Located on the Arkansas River in the Riverwalk Crossing entertainment area. This is a popular place, with lots of outdoor seating and a live band every single night. The place was packed, even on a Sunday, and we had to wait about 20 minutes for a spot on the patio. Wow, it was definitely worth it! It's your typical Mexican restaurant menu, but the food is phenomenal. A couple of people here mentioned that it won't be memorable, but I loved it. Chips were hot and fresh & salsa had just the right amount of spice and warmth. My main dish was 3 fried tacos with rice and beans. Everything was awesome, even the rice and beans were tasty! My wife ordered some ceviche, which was served in a margarita glass. Pretty tasty, and almost a meal in itself. Yes, it is a chain, but great hot food, live music, and a great view, what more can you ask for?

One of my favorite restaurants in Tulsa! Great food, fun atmosphere, and affordable decent prices. Los Cabos is always packed full of people and full of energy! The patio is great, with the river yards away and a live band every night during the summer. If you can't make it to the patio there will be a live mariachi band to serenade your table. Overall Los Cabos is an amazing place to eat but expect a wait!

    (5)
  • John W.

Nothing exceptional. First time there and heard lots of hype. We sat on the patio. Service was just not there. Seems our waitress was everywhere but at her tables. The food good but not exceptional and for the price not worth it. I've eaten many places that had better and lower prices

  • Morgan S.

I've always been a big fan of Los Cabos. However, I just ordered take out and found very long blonde hairs in my salsa! Not one hair... but multiple! Extremely disgusting. For a company that prides itself on its SALSA you would think this would never happen. Such an easy thing to prevent... Really disappointed in Los Cabos.

    (1)
  • Heather R.

Although the outdoor/scenic river walk eating is nice, the overpriced menu and "nickel and dime-ing" of your bill makes it not worth it. There are several superior Tex Mex restaurants in Tulsa where you get more for your money (3 tacos instead of 2), better food, and you don't leave feeling like you just got mugged. I will not be going back to Los Cabos anytime soon.

  • Sarah M.

You bet I'm a fan of fresh and flavorful Mexican food, consistently great service, (I think there are at least a hundred employees bussing tables, refilling chips/ salsa and serving on a busy weekend night!), outdoor seating and live music! I've come to eat a feast and to just enjoy a drink overlooking the riverwalk. Their margs and beer menu is exceptional! And when I say 'feast' I mean it. I can't imagine how many dishes that wash everyday with plate after plate of food. Ya, you probably guessed by now their portion sizes are enormous. I went recently w/ my husband. He ordered the steak/chicken fajitas and I the brisket tacos. Steak is the way to go here; I wasn't completely impressed by the chicken. The brisket tacos were full of meat and flavor. I chose the black beans as my side and I'd never thought I'd say "the beans stole the show" but they did! They were perfectly prepared and fresh. They have wonderful white queso! It's on the thicker/ heavier side though so be careful not to eat too much before the meal. The complimentary salsa is fantastic and on the spicier side. The ambiance is just... fun! This is not a place to come for a quiet meal. Besides holding a ton of seating inside, there's a mariachi band.

As far as Mexican food goes I have to say that Los Cabos is serviceable but not great. However, I have to say that both the food at the atmosphere at this location is much better than the location in Broken Arrow. The staff was friendly and took care of our needs. We had a rather large party but we didn't wait too long for our food. I will definitely come back to this place in the future with a group but with only the family we would likely go elsewhere. No real complaints about anything but after having lived in Mexico it is tough for me to give an exceptional rating to franchise Mexican restaurants around here.

  • Amber B.

I love the location! Its a warm environment, staff is completely friendly. The food is just amazing, new standard for me on Mexican flare. The price is a little high but I don't mind it with the quantity and quality is always amazing.

Ate here on a Thursday evening & we were seated very quickly. Service was excellent- very quick with getting drinks & your orders. Food was brought out before you can even think about finishing your chips & salsa. Food was nice & hot (don't burn yourself on the hot plate). We didn't order any mixed drinks, but after seeing all the big drinks going by, I wished I should've. Lots of staff on hand & our waitress Teresa was perfect! Restaurant has a loud & fun atmosphere & a place for all kinds.

Los Cabos was fantastic! I stopped in on a Friday night and the place was packed, however, this didn't effect the quality of service or the attitude of the servers. Everyone seemed to be having a great time. It was a bit too chilly to sit outside on the patio overlooking the river, but the interior was equally impressive. Dimly lit, great decor, felt like an authentic experience, or, at least, my idea of an authentic experience. I really enjoyed it! I had the Chimichanga which was stuffed with beef and came with queso and sour cream drizzle. The girlfriend had the Chicken Flautas, also delicious. I'm looking forward to returning to Los Cabos and trying more of their extensive menu. They are fairly priced for the quality of service and food that you receive. They also have a ton of drink options, including a "Sooner Swirl" for all of you familiar with the Mont's Swirl in Norman.

Best baby back ribs in Tulsa! Never thought I would say that about a Mexican restaurant, but wow! They were offering the ribs for just a few dollars more with our two orders of double fajitas, so we went ahead and got them just to try. WOW...hands down some of the best I've ever had!!!

Once We showed up we were excited to see that they had outdoor seating! It was a awesome day with a great breeze so we took advantage of it. Once we figured out what we wanted to eat it was smooth sailing after that lol the only thing we didn't like was the fact that our drinks came in Dixie cups because we sat outside...not a good thing when it's windy and the waitress made sure we always had a fresh cold soda infront of us but she never took the old ones so they just kept pilling up and we was trying to make sure they wasn't going to be blown away. If you don't want to mess with the Dixie cups then sit underneath the awning then you get the normal hard plastic cups. Their white queso is awesome but be sure to eat it quick because the longer it sits and cools off the harder and tougher it is for your chip to dip in it without breaking to pieces lol

I'm not a big Mexican food fan, but I do enjoy going to Los Cabos. The food is always solid, and they give you way more than 1 person could eat. I agree with Sarah M.-- the black beans I got last time I was there were freakin' amazing. My favorite part is the riverwalk patio. It sucks that the river has no water, but that's not their fault. They do a good job with the outdoor bar and live music on nice days. Service can get slow during these times, but if the weather is good, I have no complaints. Since this is a large Mexican restaurant, expect to encounter lots of kids.

Best Mexican food in the city! Love the Smokey taste on the refried beans, the fajitas are to die for! Every time we've been there we've been immediately greeted and sat. I love being able to eat outside when the weather permits! Then they'll go as far as to heat the patio so that we can enjoy the river view during the winter months!

We went recently for a friend'a surprise birthday. They were almost late getting the table ready in time, but we all made it back to the spot in time to avoid spoiling the surprise. The service was good, but the food really under-delivered. We ordered the combo fajita platter for two and the chicken and steak tasted like it had been thawed and reheated in a microwave before making it onto the fajita platter. The skirt steak was probably about 70% gristle. The rice and beans? Easily yesterday's cooking...dry and flavorless. The margaritas we ordered were definitely under-poured or watered down. The patio looked fun and relaxing but the music was mostly 90's cover band stuff the night we were there. None of the experience was remarkable and we paid about $80 to be there. Next time, I'll be taking my cash somewhere else. There are definitely better Mexican restaurants in town. The patio is gorgeous but not worth the amount we spent to get subpar food and drinks.

Good service from some youngsters! Funny story... Ask for my ID, after she told me she was not old enough to drink!! Sampler platter was great! $3 beer specials and great margaritas! Bike night a dud on Tuesdays....needs water in the river. Indians will get that done!

The entrance to the restaurant is in the river side of the building. Loved the view with the River Walk. Lots of outdoor seating. Large interior seating areas, pretty quiet for the number of people there. Didn't like all the chipped appetizer plates or the ultra chin chips. The salsa was thin and contained tomatillos which tasted okay. The lunch chicken fajitas pretty good with a mountain or a bland rice and beans. I chose borracho beans because they sounded tasty with all the ingredients, but they just tasted like pinto beans. The flour tortillas were tough. Big pile of good pico de gallo and cheese. My husband said his enchiladas and black beans were good. He didn't care for the chips either. Nice server and service. Had a 1 1/2 and 7 year old in tow. They seemed to enjoy it and they didn't seem to bother anyone. We were seated with a view of the window, outside a half walled interior section. The design of the building minimizes annoyance! Don't know if I would go back, but would definitely say it is worth a try.

Good food and it's even better on the patio with live music. Try the queso with fajita steak and the Talipia

Los Cabos is probably in the top 5 of mexican places in Tulsa. Great menu, great service and an awesome outside atmosphere. With all Mexican restaurants you have to start with the chips and salsa. IMO it's the single most important part of a mexican restaurant. In this part of the country we love chips and salsa. It's a staple in my diet and I crave it when overseas. Once In brasil I asked for chips and salsa at a "mexican place" and they brought me a bag of doritos "nacho cheese variety" and some tomato sauce of some sort. I didn't know they had doritos in brasil. We like chips and salsa so much that my cousin Jamie and my sister Lindsay once got in one of those open hand fights over "who liked chips and salsa more". No one got hurt but their skin was as red as a Swedish couple that had been in Cancun for a week. Los Cabos salsa has two types of salsa....one warm chipotle one and one more traditional cold one. They are both awesome and they serve hot fresh chips. The outside area is just great along the river. One night Keith, Candy and I stayed there until closing time....just drinking tecates and such. I only had a few because I had to drive. Keith and Candy kept talking about Bo Van Pelt and wine country. Which was fine because I like wine and Bo. He's probably my favorite golfer. I've followed him at a lot of tournaments and like to yell "go pokes"! My other friend Jonny followed him into a restroom once to introduce himself and tell him that they are neighbors. I've also been to the one in BA. I went there with my friend Nate once. He usually has a few beers for lunch so you have to have separate checks and not split "right down the middle". I really like Nate but I can't pay for half his beers every time we lunch. Back to the BA location. It's nice too but I don't understand the outside area. There is basically a un natural shaped pond and the highway behind that. I've never understood square ponds outside of office buildings and shopping areas. Is it for irrigation or do they really think this makes for a more pleasant working environment? Overall their food is very good. I recommend the Mexico City Style Tacos. You get 4 to an order and they are awesome.

I always love Los Cabos. We went for a Christmas party there on Friday night, and it was stellar as usual. The knocks I have on LC are always the same - it is so loud and so crowded, but I guess those are small concerns compared to all the positives. I ordered the surf and turf this time, and it did not disappoint. I normally get the sampler, but my wife ordered it this time - since she didn't finish all of hers I polished hers off as well. It was amazing. The service was great. LC will never be a 5 star review to me, because I am not a guy that likes really loud music when I trying to talk to friends - but it's the best 4 star place on my list.

Excellent Mexican food. You can't go wrong with Los Cabos. They have awesome salsa! They are a little pricier than most Mexican restaurants but it's worth it. The only negative point is the noise level is extremely loud.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
