I will say that I have tried to go to Speedy's on a few occasions when they were supposed to be open and they were closed or closing the kitchen early. That is not fun, but their food is really good and their service is fantastic. I have never been there when the food wasn't good and the servers weren't extremely polite and helpful. For example, I am currently sitting at Speedy's after getting fat on a a la carte fish taco and the El Capitan. The fish taco doesn't come with cabbage or cheese but the fish is delicious. The El Capitan is a beef burrito with delicious queso, a tamale and a beef enchilada. You will eat every little bit on your plate. I personally like Los Cabos more but you can add 40% to your Speedy's bill and that is what Los Cabos charges.

I went here with a large group on a Saturday night. It had been several years since I'd eaten here and overall, it was just okay. Pros: The service-we were seated right away and our waiter was very attentive throughout the night. My husband really enjoyed his carne asada burrito. The tostada that came with my meal had really good flavor. Cons: My chile relleno was just okay. It was edible, but I wouldn't order it again. My husband's margarita wasn't very good.

Speedy's is ok. There is nothing special on the menu. It is you typical "gringo" Mexican place. It's ok not great.

I love Speedy Gonzales! I try to go there every time I'm craving Mexican. :) The street tacos are awesome not -quite- the taco truck authenticity but so so close, the closest I've ever had. The onions and cilantro are always fresh, the verde sauce is amazing. Great prices for all you get, and such friendly service every time!

Love Hector and his family. Food is typical Tex/Mex. Refried beans best in town. Mexico City tacos are favorites as well as the soft tacos with shredded beef. All delicious. If you don't want the rice, they'll give you a dish of smoked corn that's better than you can imagine. Now serving 'Ritas that are pretty good and priced even better. This is my "go to" place when needing a quick delicious Mexican meal.

Good Mom & Pop Mexican food! Clean, neat, good service. The food was mostly typical TexMex, but they had a few shrimp dishes that had some Mexico flair to them. The salsa and chips were plentiful and the white queso was thick and excellent. I will eat there again!

Went here again yesterday with my boyfriend and then again less than a week ago with my mother. The prices have gone up a little to compensate for the economy and the remodel I think, but the food is still great. They put some money together I think and made a nice little slide show of all their dishes on an HD TV, so if you don't know what to order, just stare at that for a few minutes. Both waitresses I had were very nice and very attentive. (As a side note, my boyfriend says, the Big Oscar is something he looks forward to when he comes down from Memphis.) Still one of my favorite places to eat. I'd recommend it to everyone.

This is a great place for a quick and cheap lunch. They are usually pretty packed but it moves quickly. Speedy's lives up to its name.

Not bad place. I like their fish tacos,white queso was good with the chips. I enjoy the food I had. If i had to pick a restaurant to go to in Glenpool this would be my choice so far from the ones I already try.

Good food, good price, good service, great salsa. The lunch menu is a great value. We especially like any of their pork dishes, which add a twist to traditional favorites. The menu has a good variety of typical favorites and they do not disappoint.

This joint is excellent, and certainly lives up to it's name. The waitstaff is very friendly and the most impressive thing is how well they all help each other. Just sitting in a booth and watching them work-bringing out plates of food, getting refills for the other's table-that stuff is impressive. And all with a smile. And it really doesn't hurt that the food is delicious. I've had many enchiladas in my day(much to my wife's chagrin), and there is nowhere that does them better in Tulsa or the surrounding areas. And seriously...their quesadillas... Not even Los Cabos(where a meal like the one we got last night would be closer to $40 instead of the $28 we spent) can make better quesadillas....I highly recommend getting them with fajita meat. You will not regret it. In any way. Ever. If I can offer one small criticism, it's their queso. It could be a little more spicy. But, I admit that is my own personal preference for queso, not everyone is a heat lover. Luckily, their salsa compliments it perfectly, so when you mix them, you get what to me, is the perfect queso. I guess what I'm saying is that I'm lazy and would prefer that they do all the work for me. Cause, you know. I'm important. FEED ME!....uh...where was I?....Oh...yes...just go here. Eat and be merry. You're welcome.
