Western Sizzlin' has the unfortunate position of offering a rather decent steak at a very good price, right next to one of the more popular business traveler hotels in town while failing to deliver on the single most desired commodity by said travelers. Beer. No beer, no alcohol of any sort to be found. Very troublesome. It's obvious from the moment one steps out of the parking lot that this is a restaurant that caters to senior citizens. Don't let that scare you off, you can still get a pretty decent steak. Not a great steak, but a "Hey, that didn't even cost ten bucks? That really was pretty good." steak. A decent salad bar, plenty of hot breads to try, and some good down-home style desserts. Jordan S. is right, you'll get some rather interesting characters in there, and most of the clientele would need a second seat on a Southwest flight, and that's just a different part of the local...er.. charm. As a side note, they typically don't deliver, but if you're in the Holiday Inn Express next door, they will. Very convenient since the hotel doesn't have a restaurant.

Good food and reasonable prices, salad bar is always good.

I usually never think about going to this place unless someone else mentions it. The place needs some serious updating done to it and the setup seems weird, they have wait staff but you go up to the counter to order. I find the food to be pretty good although not the best, They do have a nice salad and potato bar.

There is something insanely comforting about this place. It reminds me of the type of place my Nebraskan grandparents would take me to when I was a kiddo I the 90s. The buffet deal is a wicked bargain- for about 8 bucks you get all you can eat salad, soup, baked potato, bread and dessert. And all of the food is good- not great, but down-home American comfort where the salad bar offers toppings like chocolate pudding and 90% of the people around you are over 250lbs and pronounce the word cement as "sea-meant". I'm happy to report that everything was very pleasant, and I enjoyed the purines of this slice of American. It's like a bald eagle made me an apple pie; a warm, patriotic fuzzy feeling that kept me full and happy.

If your wanting a steak in Enid (and not wanting to over pay), this is pretty much it. As Chad W. points out the food is good, not great but good. If you walk away hungry its you own fault. The salad bar is ok, the bread / dessert is ok, and the service is ok. Its a good place to fill your belly for cheap and as Jordan S. says, people watch.

Let's just say I didn't want to like this place when my husband insisted on checking it out. Never have had anything else except the works Salad Bar, and I love it! It's a great place to people watch (ahem....local watch) and for the price of The Works, you really can't beat it. I'm always pleasantly surprised by how pleasant the waitresses are! As a previous reviewer said "there is an 12-18 yr time difference between Western Sizzlin' and the rest of the world" and it is completely true. It's part of the reason I like it so much. On those nights where cooking is just not happening and veggies aren't stocked at my house, a cheapy filling salad bar/potato bar/soup bar/dessert bar/bakery bar here always hits the spot.

This restaurant is across the road from the Bowling Alley, right next to the Holiday Inn. It never seems to be on my mind when I want to eat out. But, I finally gave it a try. A 12 to 18 year time difference exists between the real world and the inside of Western Sizzlin'. Friendly, down home atmosphere, with loads of fatties that can't wait to induldge. Didn't experience an entree, but for only $6.29, you get unlimited salad bar, dessert, baked potato, and fries. This isn't a bad price, and the food wasn't terrible either. One customer spent a full 10 minutes at our table, dispensing unsolicited parenting advice and showing off her decaying gumline. Come for the food, stay for the people watching.

I usually have "the works" salad bar. All you can eat salad, fresh bread, soup, dessert, baked potato bar. It's a real bargain. Clean place, good waiters, well stocked food. Nice folks own the place.

Food is decent for the price. For someone who has never been there before, it is pretty confusing how to navigate. The Jesus music is a bit distasteful.
