LDG is my jam! I love the works gyro with spicy sauce (the sauce from the oregano chicken). They have a Saturday special on gyro sandwiches that is worth checking out. Not to be overlooked are the greekalicious, the Grecian burger, the arepas, and thunder fries.

Does a rainy Monday evening call for Greek food? That is the question I attempted to answer at Edmond's "Let's Do Greek" restaurant. The atmosphere was clean and pleasant. I ordered an original gyro sandwich with fries. The service was pleasingly fast. The fries were magnificent. They were fresh an had a fluffy inside with a crisp and tender GB&D outer layer. As for the Gyro itself... Well... I've had better. The bread was a soft pillow kinda like a pancake with a lot of structure and no sweetness. The Gyro meat was a mildly spiced sponge of gentle disappointment. The Tzaki sauce was sour reminder of it's cucumbery origin. Again a mild spiciness attempted to lift it's flavor but only added to the mild disappointment. It,s not a place I will likely return to. Side notes: I found ketchup helped the gyro. I tried some Baklava but found it cloying too sweet but then I haven't found any Baklava I have liked anywhere. I would rate theirs as average and of good quality with crispy fillo dough and nutty figgy filling that I can only fault for being stereotypically too sweet.

I've been here five times or so and will be back I'm sure. The food is good overall. The Gyros are excellent. The oregano chicken different and the various sides fine. The rice choices are interesting and worth exploring. I've had salads a couple times. They were good but contained too many tough cores and stem pieces. The service is always friendly and helpful.

The food was fantastic, service was great. However after eating we found a roach crawling up the table. This was less than an hour ago. I don't think we'll be returning. We frequent this place Fridays with a large group but after this we will be finding a new place.

The food is delicious. Everything we have tried is excellent. They have a wonderful staff, always smiling. Excellent customer service. The restaurant is clean, the temperature comfortable. Everything about them is great.

Pretty good Greek place. The Thunder is a nice local themed dish. Fries are nothing fancy - not bad either, though. The baklava is made in-house and is delicious.

I used to be a huge Greek food fan...then I had some bad experiences at some Greek restaurants and have been apprehensive of all Greek restaurants since. Well, I can honestly say that Let's Do Greek was a nice surprise. After looking through the menu, I settled on the oregano chicken wrap. The presentation, taste, and price all exceeded my expectations. I will say that it didn't really have that truly "authentic Greek food taste," (in my opinion) but then again...this is Oklahoma, not some small village in the Mediterranean. For the price, convenience, and an above average "Greek-inspired" menu...Let's Do Greek is worth a shot if you're in the area.

Great Sandwich! Got the Thunder Gyro to-go, and when they say spicy sauce..its actually spicy! Great flavor, although ill skip the fries and drink next time. Be sure to get the punch card!

Let's Do Greek is my absolute favorite place to go when I'm craving falafel, hummus, spanakopita, and the like. It's a frequent spot for me as it's close to work and home! I don't think I've ever had a bad experience here. The staff are always super friendly and polite. The food is quick and tastes phenomenal. Did you know that they make everything from scratch? A side of hummus and pita bread is worth getting just for the made-from-scratch hummus alone. My go-to tends to be a falafel sandwich, which they load up so fully that it often takes a fork to help me complete it! The shwarma sandwich is delicious as well. If you're in Edmond and want some good Greek food, definitely stop in here. They even have a punch card if you're a frequent diner like myself. ;)

I honestly say that I really enjoy Let's do Greek. The food is good and the service is friendly. But mostly, the prices are cheap! I've only gotten the sandwiches, but the gyro @ $3.99??? That's awesome! Drinks and fries for an additional $2.50 hike up the price, but if you just skip those and get a gyro it's cheap! What's great is that on Saturdays (open until 3pm), gyros are only $2.99 each for dine in or take out. I usually eat 2 for lunch then take a few home for dinner. I can't comment on their other dishes, but if you want a great gyro at $3.99, Let's do greek is your spot.

OK, for clarity, this is not 5 stars for being a 5 star restaurant, but 5 stars because THIS PLACE has the best gyros in town hands down. I don't know about authentic, because I unfortunately haven't been to Greece yet, but they have the best flavor easily with no competition in my eyes for the affordable fare on the menu. If you want a gyro in downtown or in Edmond, until someone can show me somewhere better, this is the place to go. I have probably eaten there 30 times in the past 3 years, and never had bad food. The gyros are always yummy. My friend gets the philly one, and he really likes it. I love the thunder gyro, which combines gyro meat, ham onion and "thunder sauce" which is some tangy spicy concoction. I'm sure the Greeks hate it, but it is an awesome flavor combo. the fries are usually undercooked for my taste, and are usually that starchy not browned color, they're not bad, so technically they're overall 4 stars, but 5 for the gyros. Plus I have to make up for that horrible 1 star review that lady who only writes an occasional non 1 star review left.

Worst "Greek" food I've ever attempted to eat. Poor in quality of ingredients, authenticity, and execution. I have yet to find a restaurant in all the OKC metro area that does spanikopita half as well as my Ya-Ya, but their deep fried abomination has to be the worst. And what about spicy mayo is supposed to be Greek, exactly? Let's Do Greek should really think about adding -ish to the end of their name. Then, maybe their renditions of classic recipes could be thought of as tongue in cheek instead of just sad.

The place has pretty much the only authentic Greek food in OKC. Their hummus and pita bread, although considered sides, make this place worth going to. Ingredients are top notch and sauces are heavy. Philly gyros are recommended for first timers. Truly a Mediterranean experience.

I ordered the okra stew. It came with rice topped with the okra and chicken stew and pita bread. It was tasty but a tad bit bland. The pita bread was pretty good though. They were pretty friendly and fast service. The only reason I give it a three is because it could've used more seasoning on plate and my friend ordered a gyro with chicken I don't remember the name of the plate but the chicken was burnt. Other that i would go back and try other items!

This place had a great atmosphere and friendly employees. The food was good but I expected a little more. The prices for everything were surprisingly on the cheaper side. If ya want to try something different then the norm try here

Best inexpensive Greek food I've had in OKC. Gyros are delicious. Great bang for your buck. Not sure why it isn't busier.

This place is awesome! You can't beat the price - the food is always hot and always perfect.

I visited the restaurant twice. First time, the food was great. I had the Gyro Platter and my son had the Chicken Suvlakia. Both dishes were hot and delicious. On our recent visit, we brought the entire family and ordered the Original Gyro, Oregano Chicken, Chicken Suvlakia, Greek Salad and Chicken Fingers. First and the last item I listed came with fries. The Gyro was delicious, but seemed void of substance. There wasn't alot of lettuce and meat. The Oregano Chicken was cooked well and spicy which is exactly how my son likes his food. Unfortunately, the bed of rice was hard and not cooked fully. The Chicken Suvlakia came only with one stick of chicken and a whole plate of hard, undercooked rice. The Greek Salad dressing was good, but the lettuce was not cut in the expected slices. It seemed like someone peeled eat piece of lettuce, but forgot to cut it in 2 or 3 more pieces. The chicken fingers were great...hot and delicious. Overall, the restaurant has a family atmosphere which is great, but they need to improve on quality of the food and presentation of each dish. The restaurant had one other customer so time was there to properly cook and prepare the food. I'll give this location another try just because the staff was nice.

I was really excited when I realized this place was less than a block from my work and decided to stop in and grab a bite for lunch since I had forgotten to pack mine at home. Since I only have 30 minutes for lunch, it was nice to see that this restaurant has counter service and our food was brought out very promptly plus it can be quite cheap depending on what you order! I ordered the vegetable shawarma sandwich (which I thought was Arabic rather than Greek, but whatever) and it was average but definitely not something that I would come back for. Plus it had french fries ON the sandwich and I did not approve of this. That is something that needs to be saved for ridiculous sandwich shops that have sandwiches with chicken tenders and donuts and french fries on one sandwich; not for a Greek restaurant IMHO. The rest of the sandwich had falafel (ehhhh average again), tzatziki (not enough, I had to ask for a side, and quite runny) and hummus (good) on a pita that seemed dry and chewy. It is not difficult to see why I would be disappointed. I have high standards for Mediterranean food considering it is one of my favorites, and Let's Do Greek just didn't really do it for me. I also feel like I still haven't experienced authentic Greek food. I fully intend to return and try something else before I stick a 3 star review to 'em permanently, but as for now, my experience most definitely did not exceed three stars.

My boyfriend and I visited Let's Do Greek today for lunch. We just got out food Togo and the service for that short time was good. We got the Hickory Gyro, the falafel plate, hummus and spanakopita. The hickory gyro says no where on the menu that it is gyro meat with BBQ sauce. This was a horrible combination! My boyfriend was not pleased with it at all. The falafel was burnt and tasted bitter. The tzatziki was watery and horrible. The hummus didn't even taste like hummus. It tasted more like an onion and garlic dip. The spanakopita was ok but still bland. Overall the food we had today was not worth the money. We will not be visiting again. Greek food needs to be done by authentic Greeks to be good apparently. This was much to "Americanized" for us.

Great tasting food, very reasonable priced, owner was fun to talk to!!!!!!

I am not sure what all the hype is over this place. I had the Gyro over rice and found it to be average. The pita slices were cold and did not seem to be fresh. The rice was not real flavorful. I would not give it two stars because the food was not bad and the prices were good but it was not a more than a 3 star. The atmosphere was not well thought out but it was a very casual dining experience.

Let's NOT Do Greek. Everything was lackluster bordering on gross-- my gyro was a couple of pieces of gyro meat and a slice of tomato drenched in tzatziki (really runny tzatziki) on a soggy pita. The rice I had as a side was mushy and weird. It was definitely not worth the money, and I won't be returning. If you want Greek food in Edmond, there's a great place on 2nd St. called Kabsa House. It's fantastic.

Super friendly owner! I tried "The Works" and my boyfriend had the oregano chicken. I asked for extra tzatziki sauce since there wasn't much drizzled onto my lamb. It was happily provided for me and I enjoyed my food... It was about 20% meat, 10% veggies (tomatoes and onions) and 70% rice. Prices were kinda high at almost $11 for the plate! I tried my boyfriend's oregano chicken dish and wasn't really a fan. The fried chicken was too greasy for me and combined with the spicy mayo-like dressing, it was pretty heavy. I think it'd be better with grilled chicken which is also an option. We had a "Greekalicious" for dessert which was a piece of baklava with a scoop of ice cream on top and honey drizzled all over it. I think I would've preferred the baklava plan, it was crazy sweet! All in all a decent spot for Greek food. Not the best I've had but maybe living in LA has spoiled me... Definitely worth returning to, especially if I make the move to Edmond!

My wife and I really enjoyed this place! I had "The Works" and she had an original Gyro. We were both very pleased with the portion size for the very, very reasonable price. Then we ordered the Greekalicious ( letsdogreek.com/greekali… ) for dessert. Oh yeah!! If you go you gotta get this! Service was excellent, too. We'll certainly go back!

Being in the mood for both Mediterranean and somewhere I had not tried before, Let's Do Greek sounded about right to me aside from the use of plural as I was having a solo dinner. First things first, arrive from the west. Turning onto 15th from Boulevard or Broadway finds no viable way to turn into the parking lot and necessitates a turnaround at Fretz or beyond. Inconvenient but a minor issue. Mere physical barriers do not stop me from following my food whims. Upon entering, I find a "fast casual" atmosphere where ordering and the check are at the counter and food is delivered shortly after. I decided to try one of the daily specials, an oregano chicken dish with a spicy "Thunder sauce" all over basmati rice. This platter plus a drink came to a bit under $12. I take a seat and shortly before my food arrives, I realize the music is actually Greek. Nice touch. The decor is a bit of a mishmash, but it ends up having a great family atmosphere with enough room division to be reasonably social or secluded. It's not hard to find Americanized food that is based on Greek food. This was Greek food with a bit of Americanization. If that description isn't clear enough, I mean to say that the restaurant is authentic with a bit of flexibility to cater to local tastes. I found the oregano chicken and rice to be quite delicious, although I would say the Thunder sauce ended up being little more than a spicy mayonnaise flavor which was not particularly bad, just that it didn't quite mesh with the taste as well as I would hope. The hours are a bit tight, but since it's a family operation, that is to be expected. I regret not trying the Greekalicious or even the baklava plain, but the platter was enough to leave me quite full. Perhaps next time when I try something lighter. There will certainly be a next time.

Let me tell you, the food here is great. I love gyros, so that's what I order. The reason for the 3 stars is simply their hours of operation. They're not in a great location, which makes it tough enough on a business-owner, but to be closed on the weekends, and closing early the other days, I'm not sure how long they'll stay in business. I wish them luck, and hope they'll extend their hours so I can bring my wife in to check it out.

A solid small Greek restaurant. Very tasty, but not at all expensive. Their Oregano Chicken is amazing.

Veggie platter is yum! Friendly owners. Great food. Edmond is building up a decent list of good places...this is one of those places on the list. There was hardly anything worth talking about when I moved here in 2008.

Super Greek restaurant just across from Dental Depot in Edmond (15th Street). Casual dining in a nice and easy going atmosphere. There are three rooms to chose from to suit your dining pleasure. The food is excellent and they offer a frequent diner rewards card. I love Greek food! Their salads are excellent as are their gyros, kebabs, rice and just about everything else. They also have a little (and I mean little) market area where you can buy bulk spices, olives etc. Give it a try.
