Oh man if I actually lived near here I would be in trouble! Luckily I was just visiting and stumbled by as I felt like having a burger and sweets. High end fast food over here with burgers, hot dogs, crispy skinny fries and oh so many kinds of frozen custard! Their "concrete" are like a Dairy Queen Blizzard, no idea who came first but they're both on to something. Place was clean and the staff was nice.

Every time I drove by the giant ice cream cone, I thought to myself I need to try that place next time I'm in a burger and ice cream kind of mood. Well, I finally tried it, and it was good! It was nice and sunny when we visited and there was literally a line out the door. The restaurant was clean, except for the awkward soda machine area. The staff was friendly and got through the line quickly. I have never had a steak burger before-it was good! The ice cream concretes were delicious. The fries were thin and crispy. They kinda messed my order up at first but, to be honest, it was quite a zoo in there when I went. Loved seeing the pictures on the wall and Freddy's story. I think I would stop at a Freddy's again instead of hitting up a DQ or Whataburger fo' sho'!

I had the Chicago Dog, but had a chance to taste my kid's burgers and custards. The burgers are very tasty and fried to a crisp. Really good stuff! The custard was also very smooth and tasty. The place looks very 50's burger shop and the food matches. Highly recommended.

Freddy's is one of the few fast food joints I'll gladly visit with enthusiasm. The burgers have thin patties, always cooked fresh to order and served hot. Cheese is always sufficiently melted, and the toppings and bun are always fresh and tasty too. The fries are thin shoestring-style. If you eat them right away, fresh from the fryer, they taste best, of course, but that's true for most fries. Their Chicago dogs are great too-- they use Vienna Beef dogs (the only way to make one correctly). The custard is awesome when you have a sweet tooth, creamier and richer than your typical soft-serve fare. I'm partial to the concrete (their equialent to a DQ blizzard). I usually order it made with chocolate custard, with peanut butter and oreos mixed in. They also have sundaes, cones and the like. We usually just go through the drive-through, but the dining room and restrooms are usually clean and well cared-for (typically better, the closer they are to their Wichita HQ). Definitely worth the stop if you're in a hurry, but don't want/ like the typical fast food options.

Make sure to save room for dessert!! A wide variety of delicious ice cream treats to choose from after choking down on one of their burgers. Try the fry sauce, too!

These are my favorite onion rings in the city of Edmond, hands down! Hubby prefers the ones at Johnny's, but not me! The burgers are a bit salty, but delicious. When you add toppings and condiments it tones it down. The frozen custard is what really brings me in though. Vanilla with rainbow sprinkles...takes me back to my childhood! Be sure to ask for extra sprinkles or you'll get a little sprinkling with just a few coming out of the shaker they use. Whenever I walk in with a Freddy's cup, my chocolate lab gets excited. She loves vanilla and sprinkles too! To another poster's point, the patties are thin...it's a Freddy's signature. You need to get the double or a triple if you're a huge carnivore!

I ordered the cheese steak with the cheese sauce and was pleased. The shoestring fries were delicious. My boyfriend ordered the double bacon steak burger and he thought it sucked. The meat in the patties was non-existent and dry. We won't be going back there again. :(
