My wife and I stopped in Cracked Pepper to pick up lunch today 7/24/15. I ordered the Chipolte Brisket and my wife ordered the Turkey Club. Both were awesome and both were huge! We now have lunch for tomorrow. We've been in Cracked Pepper numerous times, who ever takes your order is very friendly and always is smiling.

This place has a lot of local personality with a clean restaurant. The food was affordable, but nothing spectacular. I've only been there one time for lunch, and ordered one of the sandwich meals. It was a lot of food for the price, but kinda average in flavor. It was an average experience.

BEST barbecue I've ever had. The service was fantastic and the restaurant had a down to earth vibe. We were traveling through for vacation and will definitely be coming here again. Get the beef jerky!

Average BBQ, the restaurant kind of smelled bad and the workers weren't very friendly.

Perfect pit stop! Right off the freeway, kitschy in a good way, and delicious/quick BBQ.

Bright spot on an empty road. Two sandwiches fed 5 people. One kitchen sink--ham, 2 kinds of sausage, REAL cheddar cheese and BBQ sauce (we left off the mayo)--and one of their famous brisket sandwiches. Awesome taste! This place has no billboards or signage other than on the building itself. You'd never know it was there until you're long past it. We were looking for it and still missed it. Exit 62 and then turn towards the abandoned gas station (seriously) to get on the side road. Kitschy and clean inside. Friendly counter service.

I like brisket. I like brisket anyway I can get it. Jigg's knows what a brisket loving girl wants! Huge portions, seriously share it with someone, amazing BBQ sauce. Great environment. I love the hodgepodge of chairs and tables and decor.

Very good, very affordable BBQ dive. If you're roadtripping down Interstate 40/Rte 66, this is WAY better than settling for fast food or a chain. The brisket is their most popular, and it's fine, but I thought the Pig Sickle was outstanding...think McRibb, but awesome instead of gross.

Stopped here today based on Yelp reviews and it was very good. We each had the Brisket Sandwich and it was very large and full of meat. Very tasty brisket and their sauce was also very good. Located right off I-40 exit 62 on the side road.

Jigg's is open on Route 66. Had the Kitchen Sink sandwich. Outstanding!

Excellent BBQ. Sauce is just right combo of sweet and tangy. Pound of chopped Brisket with potato salad and beans was perfect and almost too much food. Place is what it's supposed to be: rustic, straight forward and down home.

I recently took a cross country trip to help move my friend to Los Angeles. Driving along I-40, we were lucky to have a road food book that pointed us to Jigg's. It's a little hard to find (take a right off the exit and drive about 100 feet past the abandoned gas station), but it is absolutely worth it. The sandwiches are piled so heavily with homemade meats and sauces (ribs, sausages, ham, etc) that you wind up eating them with a fork. And loving every bite. This place might be the only thing bringing me back to Oklahoma any time soon.

It was a road trip from Joplin, MO to Valencia, Ca and my daughter and I planned the trip based on places we wanted to eat. We both thought Jiggs sounded like someplace we needed to try. We knew the Exit number was 62 but it certainly was not obvious when we got off the interstate that an amazing meal was ahead. We didn't see any signs but there where only two buildings to choose from. . After passing the first we could see a sign on the second building. Jiggs Smoke House it said on the barn-like structure. We each ordered a sandwich and potato salad. She got the brisket and I the pork sandwich. I feel like my sandwich was about a 4 out of 5 but hers was a 12! The sandwich was overflowing with the most delicious meat I have ever tasted! I'm from Kentucky and I know my BBQ! The flavor and the smokiness was perfect. The meat was extremely tender! We both enjoyed the potato salad as well. I would recommend this place for sure. I will be back on my next road trip.

Very good BBQ. Stopped by here a few days ago on my way back from Lucky Star Casino and ate the triple pig sickle. The meat was smoked very well, the BBQ sauce was excellent, service was very good, and the environment in the restaurant was great. I have no complaints. Will definitely stop by again when I go through there.

Don't be intimidated by the lack of a clear address: Jigg's is right off the interstate, and there's almost nothing else here but an abandoned building or two, so it's hard to miss. Don't be intimidated, either, by the lack of windows and the big metal door with a bar lock. Just go in, march to the back, and get yourself some beef jerky. Yes, they serve barbeque too, and I bet it's darn good, but we only got the jerky-- giant, leathery, salty, spicy, sheets of delicious beef jerky. I've never had beef jerky this good. Just make sure to stop before you make yourself sick. I'm seriously considering trying to get them to mail me some when we run out.

I'm a Texas boy so I know what good BBQ is and I know what bad BBQ is. This is bad BBQ. No flavor AT ALL. Their gimmick is big flavorless meat? Get out of here. Great if you have never had real BBQ but is this a place to check out if you're in the neighborhood? No.

When I eat out I try to find a local non-chain type establishment to spend my money. I was headed West on 40 when I decided to see what I could find for lunch. Jiggs seemed to fit the bill based on the reviews. The staff was friendly and fast the food however, was some of the worst BBQ I have ever eaten. The triple pig sickle comes with mayo, mustard, cheese food, sauce, and mechanically recovered meat pressed into "boneless ribs". Who serves BBQ without pickles and onions or at least the offer of pickles and onions? The sauce was bland and the pork was reminiscent of a McDonald's McRibb. Except the McRibb sauce actually has some flavor and the sandwich comes with pickles and onions. I do not understand putting mustard, mayo, and cheese on the sandwich. It did not help the sandwich. maybe the brisket would have been better but not by much since it used the same bland sauce. If you are headed West on 40 keep going to Amarillo. If you are headed East head for Oklahoma City. Do not waste your time or money at Jiggs. If you really want a pig sickle sandwich head to McDonalds and get a McRibb.

Holy cow!! You have to try the brisket sandwich here. The wooly burger is so huge I don't know how anyone can eat the whole thing. Get some beef jerky for the road.

Loved this place. Had used Yelp to find restaurants on our cross country road trip. Had lunch, the BBQ beef sandwich was so large, luckily we had seen one being delivered and ordered one to split. Tender, flavorful, sooo good. Small place, counter ordering, but don't let the size fool you. Husband says the best place I have picked on the trip

Awesome BBQ in a very small package! Except the servings. Those are huge. But what flavor, what juiciness, what meatiness they pack into each bite! No advertising for this place, so you very well might miss it. Check out their website, though, and you can't go wrong. It's just off exit 62 on I-40 (either direction, I believe). Small, unassuming place, nothing fancy, but no judging, either. Friendly staff, ample portions, small price... I mean, seriously... you really can't ask for more, can you? I had the kitchen sink. Both sausages were flavorful, but the ham was the star, and there was a LOT of it. Tomato relish: yes, please! Think of rustic ketchup, only much MUCH better. I left the mayo off, but that's up to you. Oh, and real cheddar cheese, not American cheese that passes for cheddar, but the real deal. That's obviously a big thing for me. I would so totally come back here. In fact, I just might do that. This joint is truly worth the drive.

Everyone in my office is crazy about Jiggs... well, sorta. They used to be. They used to rant and rave about how great the Pigsickle tastes and how giant the Kitchen Sink sandwich is. And any time we had a chance, we'd drive 20 minutes to go and eat there. And never once have I come away going "wow." As far as smoked meats go, their stuff is decent but not great. The friendly staff happily piles roughly 2.5x a normal serving's worth of food in front of you for each entree ordered. These giant portions get laid out on the table on big sheets of butcher paper and come dripping in sweet barbecue sauce. It's quite the sight to see. It's also a pain in the ass to eat. You can't pick up the sandwiches. The "Texas toast" buns disintegrate due to the dripping fat and sauce and you're left trying to cut into a pile of soggy meat with crappy plastic silverware. It's almost gross watching people try to eat anything there. And like I said, people at the office used to love it. Last time we went, three people got sick. For the record, the pigsickle looks the same coming back up as it does when it's served. If greasy meat is your thing, more power to ya. I'm eating elsewhere.

We absolutely love the ribs @ Jiggs. So far we have only done take out & heated them up @ home. They fall off the bone. The sauce is awesome. We also take home their condiments for sale such as the hot chow chow & corn something. Biggest down side for us is they close early & are not open on Sun & Mon. Staff are super friendly & helpful on cooking instructions.
