As a Memphian, I am selective about my barbecue and tend to judge the barbecue of other areas somewhat skeptically. I also tend to judge chain restaurants more harshly than independents. With these qualifiers in place, may it be known that I thoroughly enjoyed Rib Crib. I had a brisket and it pleased me greatly.

I usually love this place. However there is always a bad day.. First, it's good they higher High School students in the summer to keep them employed.. However they should check on thier skills as a waitress.. Don't ask me if I wanna Togo drink when you just gave me my food.. maybe wait til I'm done eating and you give me my check.. Second, these ribs are usually pretty good.. however I think I got last nights leftover and the refired them today.. Very dry. Catfish was dry too.. Good frys and nachos..

Have ate here twice now. This place is amazing. Drive thru is a nice touch. Separate parking for pick up Orders. Normal wait is 10 minutes which is great!! Friendly call in orders. They really aim to please! Very professional. Food we tried: CHICKEN QUESADILLA Tender smoked chicken, cheese, tomatoes, caramelized onions and peppers melted in a cheddar tortilla! THESE ARE MY FAVES!!!Seriously off the charts amazing!!! THE CLUB Tender smoked chicken and pulled pork, melted cheddar and pepper jack cheeses, crisp bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayo and tangy honey mustard between three crisp slices of buttery Texas toast. THIS IS MY HUSBANDS FAVE!! Great tastes! Highly recommend! CLASSIC CHEESEBURGER Two hefty all-beef patties seasoned and seared to perfection. Served with cheddar cheese, pickle planks, crisp lettuce and tomato, or go all out and build your own. With a side of seasoned fries. I HAVE HAD THIS TWICE! Has a burger king flavor but amazing!!! Fries are outstanding! Great place, I highly recommend!!!!

Grate food. Meat falls off the bone. Food I give 4 1/2 star but giving 3 stare due to lack of parking. Only enough parking to fill half the restaurant. You have to park in neighboring parking lot

Ok, I am updating this review to give them a better rating. The service is more consistently good than bad. The above described service problem was a fluke, I have come to believe. We have been back 3 times since then and the service has been flawless. It was very good before that too. I want to also praise their food. Their ribs are just fabulous. Most BBQ places hide their bad ribs with BBQ sauce, they have some of the best dry rubbed ribs I have ever tasted. They are cooked perfectly and have the perfect mix of fat versus meat. Their beans, both the cowboy and the smoky beans are just delicious. We also like the fact that we are able to take our plastic tea glasses home with us! We will be back!!
