Who doesn't want a true Italian man, accent and all, to serve them a plate of ravioli? We loved our waiter. Even when he spilled an entire glass of water on the floor, we still loved him. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that I was going to eat at Little Napoli that evening and devoured an entire foot-long Subway sandwich very prior to coming here. Everything on the menu looked fantastic! They allowed me to order a child's portion of ravioli. The complimentary bread is the best. It's no ordinary bread; it's fluffy, seasoned, and amazing. I approve of Little Napoli.

Since they have changed hands the food has been sadly to say, awful. I am so hurt to have to be honest as I was hoping this place would be our go to place being so close to home. The chicken piccata & chicken Parmesan was sadly overcooked and dry, I will admit the soups are good as well as their bread which is very yummy. Salads are good. However the main dishes that we have ordered have all been bad. Maybe I have higher expectations given I am Italian and at one point I owned my own catering business. However, I don't want to discourage anyone from trying here because your view maybe different than mine. Everyone's taste is different. I have ate at some of the best Italian restaurants in the world so my expectations are very high. They are truly friendly here and in the summer they have outdoor seating. It is a very charming place and I hope one day if we do return that the meals will be better prepared.

Good bread but they charge $2.95 for olive oil and garlic for dipping. Red sauce isn't bad. Food came out on very big plates but one of the dishes which was $10.95 had about 3 times as much sauce as pasta and chicken. Definitely not a good portion on that one. If they are trying to give smaller portions then trying to disguise on a huge plate that is then overfilled with sauce isn't the best plan. Or since pasta is cheap bulk up on that to match the sauce. Staff was accommodating.

The best kept secret in Bixby! We love this place!! The eggplant Rollatini is my favorite. I have them make it with the Alla Panna sauce! Mamma Mia!

Great, authentic Italian food. with huge portions at a great price. Real Italian owner waited on us is from Milan and wonderful sense of humor. The homemade bread is the best we have ever had in a restaurant. It is now on our list of favorites in Bixby area.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
