Sushi? In Bartlesville? I was as skeptical as anyone. But I finally went with some buddies at lunch one day. I have to say the sushi is really good for Northern Oklahoma. Give it a try. The non sushi meals are good too.

IMHO not good. Rice was hard, California roles were cut thin and tasteless. Salmon was borderline fresh. The miso soup was OK and probably the best thing I had. The service was good and the inside of the place was clean and comfortable.

Best Sushi I've had in the midwest, I was skeptical after first, eating it fresh on the east coast, but they did a great job. The wontons are amazing and a must get. My wife and I would normally go and get an order of California roles (6), Philadelphia rolls (6), and for our favorite, the Phoenix Roll (10 or 12). They were all fantastic! If your not a sushi fan they do have hibachi and their lunch specials are pretty cheap too. if you order in, they are super quick, and 9.5/10 will have it ready by the time you get there.

The place may not look like much from the outside, but it's quite roomy on the inside. The wait staff is friendly and the sushi rolls are just delicious. I have been to many good sushi bars in metropolitan cities and this place is second to none. I have tried their Bartlesville, OKC, California, Ring of Fire, Rainbow, Red Spider, Scorpion and Black dragon rolls and they are all delicious, but my favorite is the Ring of Fire. The green tea ice cream may not sound appealing, but it is fabulous! Great restaurant!

Going to keep this short and sweet. The sushi here, while having phenomenal presentation (especially for overly cooked rice), is worse than bad. I've had sushi with more properly cooked rice and actual flavor from Crest (a GROCERY store) in Norman, than the sushi from Sushi One I had tonight. Bland, overly-cooked and under moistened rice, with, what seemed to be, watered down soy sauce. I'm sorry to be saying this, as it seems almost every other review is glowing, but skip this place, take a drive to Tulsa and hit up any number of well-reviewed sushi restaurants there; you'll be better for it. Mayyyybe we caught them on a poor night, but I'm doubtful. It never hurts to try a place, and if you like it, fine, but we'll never be going back. Instead, we'll drive for 40 minutes to get some more appealing sushi.

I've been several times. To go orders and eat in. Always good friendly service. And pretty good sushi. Sushi combination is good if you like nigiri and ring of fire is awesome if you like spicy.

I hesitate to write this review because every one of the other reviews (at this time of this writing, there are 10) is a 5-star review and that makes me "that guy." Worse, I'm "that guy from out of town." And I don't like being that guy who came into this nice little town and disparaged the food the locals love (all but 1 of those other 10 reviews are from someone who is listed as being essentially a local). But it is what it is and while I could just keep it to myself, the point of Yelp reviews is to share honest opinions in the hopes of helping others. Maybe I caught them on a bad night; I certainly wish them much success and I'll be perfectly happy if my review here always remains the only one that isn't glowing. So with all that said: for me, Sushi One was simply bad. For what it's worth, I don't consider myself a sushi snob and I only eat rolls because they're what I enjoy most. However, I do have a good sense of what it is that I like as far as rolls are concerned and so the issue isn't that I ordered rolls that I wouldn't have liked if they were prepared elsewhere: without a doubt, Sushi One did a bad job with these rolls. I had the Double Tempura roll and the Phoenix roll and both were bad. The Double Tempura roll was pretty much tasteless. The Phoenix roll, by virtue of the sauce, had more flavor but it still wasn't good. And both rolls had the wrong consistency. I had fully expected to order another roll but I beat it out of there as soon as I could. Then I went over to Braum's and got some ice cream...which wasn't all that stellar either (I believe that's tantamount to sacrilege to Oklahomans and maybe that simply says it all: maybe what I like and what those from around here like are just different things).

Best Sushi in Bartlesville! I had the Bento Box lunch with Hibachi chicken, California rolls, salad, egg roll, and soup. All for under $10.

This place doesn't just get me by until I can have better sushi. It is the real deal! Yes, I can get better sushi in bigger cities, but Sushi One satisfies my craving for sushi!

Great food, especially for Bartlesville. The sushi always tastes fresh and the service is pretty good, even when they are busy.

As a traveler who gets around the world, I can tell you that this is one of the best in-land sushi places around. The owner is a young pleasant woman who is quite attentive to her customers. I can also say the same for the rest of the staff who I was able to interact with on my few trips to this place over the past week. The fish for my nigiri(salmon, tuna and yellow-tail) was fresh and cut wonderfully to fully cover its rice base. The two specialty rolls I ordered were also full of fresh ingredients and I could tell that care was taken to accentuate the presentation on the plate. The menu offers all your standard sushi fair from California rolls to Philly rolls and incorporates some great local specialty rolls. I don't recall seeing Temaki rolls on the menu but that's not really my thing so I could have just missed it. The price is spot on and I cant remember ever receiving more for less in my travels(even in Japan).

My family and I went there for dinner tonight, ordered the California Rolls which are always good some other rolls and Teriyaki Chicken. That way we can all taste a little bit of everything. Half way through the meal I went to take a bite of the chicken and noticed there was a piece of shrimp in it, I moved it aside and one of my family members ate it and then low and behold another piece of shrimp was found, normally this wouldn't be a problem except for the fact I'm allergic to shrimp. I notified the waitress and she was so apologetic, I understand mistakes happen. She then went to get a women which I assume was the manager or owner and she preceded to argue with me that shrimp always comes with the chicken teriyaki (since when does shrimp come with a chicken dish, unless specified) I notified her that I was allergic to the shrimp, she didn't care. NO Apology, NO Nothing!!, she was rude. I wasn't asking for anything, I just wanted to notify her of the mistake. I will never eat there again. Very disappointed.

I really like this place. Excellent sushi which isn't something you'd expect in small town Oklahoma. I've had lots of the more expensive rolls and appetizers. All very excellent.
