Nice, new BBQ joint in town. The decor is new and fresh. The service staff is great and the food is great as well. I ordered the sliced brisket sandwich with a side of potato salad. The sandwich was good, but I was wishing the bun was bigger as I was eating the sandwich. The potato salad was good and this place is of few in town that offer fresh brewed tea (a rarity in this town). Overall, this is a great place to eat.

I have eaten there twice and both times it was pretty good. The ribs had good flavor and they were fall off the bone tender. It is the best place to get BBQ now. Watch the guy slicing the brisket it end up paper thin. Even though they weigh everything it's thin and spread out to make it look like you have more than there really is.

Good food, good service! Ask about their gift certificate/gift card deal. Buy a $20 gift card, get a $5 gift certificate. If you eat there often this is a great deal! Not sure how long the deal is on for.

Dropped in for lunch on a weekday to find that it wasn't busy, which was good. The inside was cool (temp) and clean and somewhat dimly lit. The menu was typical of what you'd find at any franchise bbq joint, to include the price. We ordered two 2-meat combos and went with brisket and ribs. It came with two sides but no drinks. Total came out to about $34 which is comparable to eating at a Rudy's. Unlike Rudy's you only get one piece of toast and you have to request pickles, onions, or peppers at the register. The tables have various sauces. The food itself was good with one exception: the sliced brisket was really dry. Other than that, the food was good. The ribs were moist and fell off of the bone, the baked potato salad was rich and creamy (my favorite), the macaroni was cheesy and flavorful, and the beans were savory (had bits of chopped brisket or pulled meat in it). Overall, enjoyed my visit.

Brisket dry? Check. Potato salad bland? Check! Pretty sure this was yesterday's cooking.

Place is awesome. I love the food. Go there for all you can eat ribs...they were awesome without sauce but if you put there hot sauce on it, it's even better! Wife loved the pulled pork and I also really like the brisket. Beans are very tasty too

Been to the best southern town restaurants and billy sims is one of them. Some sides are okay the bbq beans are definitely made there. I always get the pulled pork plate and its delicious. My husband got the ribs and it just slips right off the bone. A little pricey but worth it!

This place has pretty good pulled pork and really good sweet tea but it really wasn't clean and the corn I got was brown because it had been sitting out so long. However, the staff was pleasant and like I said, good BBQ. Best BBQ in Altus. Ha ha ha.

Ribs are good but not Famous Daves ribs. Pulled pork is good, the best was the bbq beans. The napkins for a bbq restaurant are Horrible, just like john wayn tolit paper..

It's good barbecue if you don't know what really good barbecue is. It's excellent barbecue for Altus Oklahoma; sadly, that is not saying much. Yes, my family probably eats here once a month. But we prefer to drive to Oklahoma City or Fort Worth on a weekend and get some great barbecue. If you want to eat barbecue around here, this is the place to go. It's just that this place wouldn't survive in Oklahoma City or Fort Worth or a lot of other cities and towns that know what excellent barbecue is.

Great salads! The meat is sliced unless you asked for pulled pork. Not super generous but plenty and all we needed. Good experience!

New BBQ joint here in Altus. Not a bad little place. Food was good and employees were happy and friendly. I had the Bevo Plate which was a huge serving of shredded brisket and two sides. It was the best BBQ I have had in Altus. Update: My second visit was better than the first. Normal Altus service hasn't crept into this place yet. I hope they can keep it up! Today I had a loaded baked potato and it came with a side of meat. I tried the smoked chicken. Potato was huge and good. Chicken had great flavor but a little dry...BBQ sauce added the moisture it needed. The best part about this place is the service. The guys cutting the meats are helpful and patient. The girl that worked the dining room was constantly refilling drinks and cleaning the tables. It is nice to see people that have pride in their job.

Great service every time we visit! The servers are friendly and helpful, and the food is crazy good. My favorite is the smoked chicken sandwich & macaroni and cheese. Smothered in sweet & mild sauce, of course!

I'm a huge fan of Texas BBQ. This is decent and Texas style. It didn't match my Texas favorites but was a good lunch. I had sliced brisket and hot sausage combo. Give a try to mix it up. I think you like it if you are open to all BBQ.

I've had better of sure. For Altus, it's not bad. All you can eat on Tuesday so that's good. Lots of seating available. This is not a place for healthy eating but it's a nice break to get so meat and meat every so often.

Good BBQ at lunch, but I went back in the evening and the door was locked an hour before closing time, with employees inside. Disappointing....

VERY good food. I had the pulled pork that has coleslaw, cheese, and sauce on it (forget the name). It was DELICIOUS!

Decent chain BBQ in Altus. Service is usually decent, was better when they first opened. Brisket is good, just a touch dry. Potato salad is very good, as is their sausage links. Pretty pricey, however it is BBQ and I'd ather pay more for good food here in Altus, than go t that crappy Applebee's.

Probably deserves a 3 1/2. We all can make better BBQ, but when you don't have time and need a quick meat fix, Billy Sims will do.

Billy may know football, but this BBQ is not in the same league. I ordered the brisket which was over cooked and dry. Not even the sauce could save this one. Everything is wrapped in plastic wrap, then cut to order. The cutting board was in disarray during my visit with odds and ends all over. They really need to work on the basics here now that the new opening honeymoon is over. For Altus, this may be as good as it gets.....

Improved. Have eaten here 2 times this year and service and food were good. The price is an issue, 29 dollars for one dinner, one sandwich with 2 sides and 2 drinks is a bit high. The food has improved the service has improved, the price , well prices never go down and portions never go up so...whatever. I dont see this place ever rating a four or any reason to update my review in the future. Solid three for life.....

Had the pulled pork sandwich and loaded potato salad, it was really good. The bbq on the table was pretty good as well, I could actually taste spice! (That's rare in Altus) only downfall is that it's kind of expensive for what it is..
