The service was great and the food was amazing. I recommend the chicken fried rice. The egg rolls are to die for and the Hawaiian chicken is BAE. Sesame chicken is also really good too.

While growing up in Ada, Oscar's building was Conda's used book store. Sometime after I left town in 1985, Oscar's moved in to the location. I can't remember anyone saying anything bad. Never heard much good either, but nothing bad. We'll, tonight I was talked into giving it a try. I checked Yelp first, but I went anyway. Here's my review. Atmosphere - none. Cleanliness - very questionable. Food - a bit scary, but I have had worse. Price - inexpensive, yet overpriced. Service - good. Parking - dangerous. Recommended - not at all. I found nothing redeeming about this place. However, apparently they do a lot of business. The place was packed. Now, I do think I know why. The food is cheap, and the servings are quite large.

Oscars is the love of my life. I eat here at least twice a week and I always enjoy it. The staff is lovely and the atmosphere is only comparable to that of a Chinese restaurant in China. I recommend Oscars to everyone.

Folks, it's all about knowing what to order. I've had Chinese food all over the world, and this ain't bad. For those of you who don't like spicy, but do like sweet and sour, by all means try the Hiwaiian Chicken. If you do like spicy, get the Hunan Beef and order it XXXX spicy. I love the small town camaraderie of this place.

Oscar's is quite honestly one of the best Chinese restaurants you can find in southern OK. Family owned and a favorite of the locals, I have honestly never heard anyone complain about Oscar's until stumbling onto this site. My personal favorite is the egg rolls and chicken fried rice - absolutely fantastic. Reading some of these reviews doesn't change my opinion of the restaurant, but definitely makes me question the taste of the people in this town. Perhaps some people shouldn't have returned after 1985...

The only reason I gave 1 star is the waitress was nice. The food was not fresh. Most was inedible.

I went to Oscars with my wife because we love Asian food. We ordered chicken lo mien and beef broccoli and egg rolls because I heard their egg rolls were really good. I have eaten Asian cuisine across the globe and I have to say this was one of the worst I've had. Food was overall bland. Chicken was fatty, beef was chewy. The egg rolls were no better than frozen ones from a grocery store. There are not hardly any Asian restaurants in Ada but I would rather eat a frozen dinner than eat at Oscars again.

The worst is one of the worst places I have ever eaten. It was disgusting! A complete waste of money. The food was questionable at best.

I wonder how to say "food poisoning" in Chinese? I've been here twice. Both times ended in vomit. Also, their card machine is slow as hell. I bought a $10 dollar meal there and ended up paying $200 for it, because they didn't charge me until 2 weeks later after I had closed that account which triggered all kinds of late fees.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
