Good job, Jeff B. I bet you failed to tell your waitress that there was anything wrong with your food when she asked. I bet you waited til you got to the front AFTER leaving your plates clean to complain, and then expected to get it for FREE. That sir, is your fault. I'm sure that you're one of those customers that restaurants absolutely hate to serve. Remember, it's not nice to lie.

Service was ok. Menus were sticky. Tables looked as though they were wiped with a dirty rag. The sweet tea was overly sweetened. I ordered the Reuben. This was served on thin sliced bread and I was given the "heel" of the bread which was the bottom slice that I didn't see until I picked the Reuben up. The corned beef was lacking in this sandwich. It was thin slices and maybe weighed 4oz at most. Spicy mustard and cheap tasting sauerkraut. The fries tasteless. The other person I was with got the Philly cheesesteak. There was hardly any meat in the sandwich. Someone was trying to pull the wool over our eyes by loading the sandwich up with onions and mushrooms. The owner was rude and confrontational when he asked how the meal was in a demanding voice. He called us liars and said everything was portioned correctly and no one complains about his food. We tried to pay for our meal and just leave but he continued with his rant. He didn't want to hear his food was lacking from me. A waitress apologized for him being rude and said he was rude to all his employees the same way. This guy should sell and get out of the food and hospitality industry.

Just a really good place to eat, staff is very friendly and accommodating for larger groups. Prices are reasonable and food tastes home cooked.

Friendly, quick service with mediocre but not great food. The chicken fried steak was ok but the pulled pork sandwich was very tasty. I don't recommend the hamburger. Their "blue moon" fries are the best cheese fries I've eaten. I love the 50's atmosphere and coordinating music selection. I would give 5 stars if the food was better instead of just having 2 or 3 delectable entrees.

Shortly after having a horrible experience at Papa Gjorgjo's I came here after hearing about its praises on the radio. I was immediately met at the door and seated promptly. The waitresses were so nice and courteous, and not one, not two, but three separate waitresses checked on me as I ate. None too overbearing. I ordered the fried green tomatoes and they came out within a few minutes, and were delicious! For my lunch I ordered the chicken fried chicken, it was a tad bit overlooked, but still delicious nonetheless. I am happy I chose to come here! I would even come back just for the biscuits!!! Yum.

I am giving them 3 stars for there chicken wraps and there chicken salads those are very good and they have good service. I wouldn't call it classic cafe food,I have had the chicken fried steak,I wouldn't call it tastie or home made, and the burgers are not awesome! I've had better. it is a clean place to eat,in a good area, with friendly service..

I went here twice with my brother and we had the taco salads. I loved the wall decoration, very vintage and nice. The food was yummy, I liked the taco salad, it was quite big for me but it tasted great. The service was nice & friendly.

Fun little diner style restaurant. 1950's decor. Lots of Elvis and Coke memorabilia. I always find it funny that they have so much Coke stuff but serve Pepsi. There are a few Pepsi things though too. For the food start out with the fried green tomatoes. They are hand battered and made to order, very delicious. Their catfish is excellent. They have a dinner which comes with about 4 pieces or an all you can eat. I suggest the dinner because I have a very large appetite and can never finish it. It comes with a side of beans, fries, coleslaw and hush puppies. I typically substitute the coleslaw for fried okra. If you go on a Sunday the special always is pot roast. I suggest getting it if your there on a Sunday. It is one of the best pot roasts I have ever had. It comes with roast carrots and potatoes. A must try.
