If you're looking for variety and quantity, go to a buffet for a few dollars more. Panda Bear has all the classics at a perfect price point. You can order anything a la carte or you can get a combo with a drink and an egg roll. They customize to your liking (I like to add broccoli) and they are always friendly and clean. The best part is you can watch the chef prepare your food! It's not a show, but there's no secrecy to the kitchen. Takeout, eat in, either way it's perfect. Best "mom 'n pop" Chinese food in Ohio. It's a regular spot for me and my friends. Never disappointed. Good food and great memories!

Owners are great people and very nice. I use to work next door at Gamestop and would come here for lunch. Food was always yummy and made me come back for more. The one thing I miss about living in Zanesville!

Not the best, but not the worst. I figured since it had Panda in the name it would be somewhat close to Panda Express, but I was wrong. I ordered the general tsos and lo mein. The food was fresh but tasteless. General Tso's 1-5=2. Lo Mein 1-5=2.

Great food and great people. Best Chinese food on the south side. Everything is very fresh and cooked to order. The Spicy Triple is the best food on their menu. Go here and you won't be disappointed.

If you're craving Chinese takeout in the Zanesville area, this is where you should go. Food is made quickly, atmosphere is friendly and casual. I got there and had forgotten my wallet, so I had to drive home to get it. When I got back to the restaurant, they had remembered my order and set to making it very quickly. Very affordable--I got fried rice, wontons and an egg roll and it came to a little over $5. They loaded my takeout container with rice, it really is a lot of food for how much you pay! Not the best fried rice I've had, I was really missing some egg in there, but it was delicious nonetheless. Whenever I'm craving Chinese, I will be frequenting this place in the future.

This is pretty much the worst Chinese food I have ever had. It's very cheap, but even when the store is empty the wait is almost unbearable and the food is horrible. I would say it's bland, but it's salty. And that's it. You don't get the flavors of your usual favorite Chinese dish. You get salt. I have eaten here twice, and that's generous. I wanted to give them a second chance, and that second chance was the last time I will ever eat there.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
